A/N I don't own Naruto nor do I own One Piece. But I do own this story. This chapter is gonna be interesting. And for those who wanna see Luffy and Nami together... I can't say when but let's just say it happens during a big arc. Take a wild guess and I will give you a hint in the next chapter.

"Woo-hooo!" Luffy exclaimed as soon as they landed in Loungetown. "This is gonna be so much fun."

"Every pirate headed to the Grand Line stops here to resupply. It has everything that you could possibly need." Nami said.

"Good... I need some medical supplies." Sakura said with her hands on her hips.

"And I'm going on a shopping spree!" Usopp told his friends. "I bet they have all sorts of stuff here."

"And I'll be able to stock up some fresh produce." Sanji said then grinned mischievously. "And Fresh women." Zoro puts his thumb on his chin.

"Do you think that there's a sword-smith around here?" He asked.

"I thought that you were broke." Nami teased. "Are you going to steal a sword?"

"Yeah..." Sakura joined in with the teasing. "Maybe if Zoro is a good boy, I will lend a couple of berries." Hearing that made Zoro growl making both women laugh.

"Well, I'm gonna find out where they kill people." Luffy said. Usopp, Naruto and Sanji looks at him in confusion. Luffy then drags Naruto's neck and pulled him away.

"C'mon, Naruto. We gotta see where they hung the King of the Pirates!"

"LUFFY!" Naruto said with his neck wrapped around. "You're choking my neck!" He said as they both left the group. Both Sakura and Nami sighed with frustration.

"Hey, wait! We have to pick a meeting place!" Usopp called out to him, but Luffy had already left. "That's not good."

"Well, at least Naruto has matured..." Sakura muttered. "A little... C'mon Nami. I'll go shopping with you, then I will pick up some medical supplies."

"Right." Nami said as they both took off.

"Well, how do I look?" Nami asked while trying on clothes.

"You look absolutely engaging." The salesman says. She and Sakura tried on different sets of clothes. They put each of their clothes on the counter.

"Thank you, come again!" The shopkeeper cried. After they get done shopping, Sakura sees a pharmacy.

"C'mon Nami, we gotta get some medical supplies for the ship." She said.

"Good idea, Sakura." Nami said as they made it to the pharmacy. "It's a good thing you're a doctor."

"Yeah..." Sakura picked up a cart and put some medical supplies like shots, stethoscopes, ban-aids, gloves, and a bunch of medication. Only this time, she paid for them. "But something tells me that there are diseases I don't know about in this world and we need a second doctor."

"I think that's a good idea." Nami agreed as she paid for the supplies. "After all, you won't stay with us forever." Sakura puts her head down.

"Although I want to go home... after getting to know Nami, Luffy, and the rest, I'm unsure if I want to go back home. After all, Nami is a much better friend to me than Ino." Sakura then lets out a giggle. "Imagine her reaction when she finds out Naruto and I are dating."

Meanwhile back at Konoha.

Ino was digging into her ice cream when suddenly...

"Achoo." She wiped her nose and muttered, "Someone's talking about me..." Then she clenched her fist. "I bet it's you, Billboard Brow. You better get back here so I can kick your ass."

Back at Loungetown

After walking through town, Sanji examines all the beautiful women he sees. Sanji is grinning with heart in his eyes.

"Ah, top quality aperitif. Coupled with two mouth-watering delicacies. So much on the menu, I can't decide where to start! I wish this was a buffet." Suddenly something caught his eye. It was a woman leaning towards a wall. She had a slim body and was of average height, with dark green eyes and long, wavy, black, curly hair. She wore a white cowboy hat, a green pearl necklace, a long flowing dark purple cape with red hearts draped over her shoulders, a frilly striped pink and white bikini top, tight pink capri pants with a white sash, and sandals.

"Oh, I think I've found the main course!"

Meanwhile, at a weapons shop, Usopp was on cloud 9 at the weapons he can manufacture.

"Whoa, crazy! I think I died and gone to trigger Heaven!" He exclaimed.

"Come in, Come in!" A voice called. "In our humble store almost everything you see is a priceless pirate artifact from adventures from the Grand Line. I'm certain that you won't find a store like this in the entire Blue!" Usopp's eyes widen with excitement and turns to the clerk.

"So, then everything in this store has been to the Grand Line and back, is that what you're telling me?!"

"You are so observant." The clerk grinned "We only accept a certain type of clientele in the establishment and as you might imagine. And I can tell be your demeanor your my type of client... observe." He got closer to Usopp and showed him a gun. "I hold in my hand the gun that was once the favorite of none other than the Gol D. Roger!"

"No way!" Usopp gased in disbelief. "Gold Roger's! Show me everything!"

"Right this way!" The clerk grinned.

At a marine headquarters at the same Island, a man who was all covered in smoke heard a door open.

"Captain Smoker... a message from Headquarters!" A marine called to him. The Captain stares at the marine who came in and he got intimated then he salutes.

"I just received word the Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew headed to Loguetown from the East Blue. The bounties on their heads have just been raised to 30 million berries!"

"30 Million Berries... I can't wait to congratulate them."

"Sir, this is the pirate that defeated Don Krieg and destroyed Arlong Park!" The soldier shouted.

"Shut your mouth." He ordered.

"Silence, your stress is useless. You alone dictate the pace of your battle, am I wrong?" He asked. The marine gulped.

"N-no, sir." Smoker then opens a window to let the smoke out and it finally reveals him. He was tall, muscular, has white hair and brown eyes. He is also smoking two cigars. He is wearing nothing but his blue pants and his boots.

"Then why so tense?"

"Uh, well, it's been a long time for some pirate crew with this considerable strength, sir." The soldier gulped.

"You really have nothing to worry about. Under my command there isn't a single pirate who stepped foot on this island haven't been captured?" He asked as he walks over to his table and puts on his white coat.

"N-no, sir." The marine stuttered.

"Then just calm the hell down! You're screwing up my pacing Marine." He ordered. Another Marine just came in and saluted.

"Reporting, sir. I have word that a pirate crew have just recently arrived! You're requested there at once!"

"It must be Luffy's group!" The other soldier gulped nervously. "How'd they do that? I just got this..."

"30 million, huh? This might actually be interesting." Smoker muttere as he walks past through his two men. The one who warned him about the pirate crew arriving followed him.

"Captain, you have to tell us what your orders are." He told him.

"No need to." The captain replied.

"Sir, do you even know who these pirates defeated?" He stopped and looked down at the marine.

"You're annoying me..." The Marine gasped as the Captain's glare grew colder. "I'm in command here." The marine saluted.

"Understood, Captain!"

"Where's Tashigi?" He turned around, hoping he would get an answer.

"Sir, she mentioned about having some things to do this morning then she tried to make it back in time for training!" Smoker looked at him with annoyance.

"Irresponsible girl, where the hell did she go?" He asked. What he doesn't see is a little girl to him.

"Yay! I got Ice cream!" She cheered. Her father behind chuckled.

"You better slow down or you're gonna drop it..." The Father warned. Unfortutenly she did... she dropped on the Captain's pants. He scowled at the girl and her father immediately recognized him.

"C-captain Smoker!" He screamed.

"My... ice cream." The little girl was about to cry. The father waved his hands nervously in fear for his daughter.

"I-I'm so sorry, sir! Please don't hurt her. My daughter shouldn't have run. Please don't hurt her!" The captain put his hand on her head and crouched down.

"I'm sorry, my silly pants have eaten all of your ice cream. Here, go buy yourself five scoops." He gave her some money making the little girl confused. The Father ran behind his daughter and patted her back.

"T-thank you, sir." He said.

"Thank you!" The girl smiled and waved Smoker responded by waving without looking.

A Shopping center

"Captain Smoker?" Questioned Nami who is at a different sales shop with Sakura.

"He is definitely one of the toughest Marines we've ever seen in this time." The saleslady said. "You see Loguetown used to be a hangout for pirates headed to the Grand Line but not anymore. As soon as Smoker took over, any pirate that has come near this island has been caught, incarcerated and executed. Smoker is bad. He's an complete and utter monster. There are those who say that he has devil fruit powers." Both Nami and Sakura gasped.

"We need to find Luffy, Naruto, and the others," Nami said.

"Got it," Sakura replied. She placed her item on the counter and paid for it. It was a purple northern-style fur hat, with a goggles. Nami raised an eyebrow.

"Um... why did you buy that?" she asked. Sakura smirked.

"Because if I'm gonna be a pirate, I might as well look the part!" She threw the hat onto her head. Sakura covered her forehead.

"Sakura, you're a good friend, but that was so corny." Sakura ignored that, paid for her hat, and noticed another behind the counter. She gasped and picked it up. It was a orange top hat also with goggles. It reminded her of Naruto when he used to wear similar headgear. Buying it for him would surely bring back memories. She examined it and then turned to the saleslady.

"Ma'am, how much is this hat?" she asked.

"Actually," the saleslady examined it and smiled, "Since you bought a 20 Berrie hat, you get another one for free." Sakura was surprised.

"Really?" She nodded. Sakura put it in her bag and thanked her, then ran out with Nami to find the others.

"I hope Naruto doesn't get himself into any trouble." She said while she walked with Nami.

"Is he as bad as Luffy's?" Nami asked.

"Nope... but still bad." Sakura confirmed. Hearing that made Nami facepalm

"Then I hope they don't run into this Smoker."

Smoker groaned as he finished a fight against a pirate who claims to have a 30 million dollar Berrie bounty on his poster... only to have his ass kicked by Smoker.

"That's amazing, captain. You captured Luffy all by yourself!" The soldier shouted. Smoker growled at him.

"You're a complete idiot. This isn't Luffy, anyone could tell that. If this garbage was worth 30 million, I'd become a pirate."

"So then, where's Luffy?"

"And where's your hurry?" He leaned his neck then he his head back. "He'll be here soon enough." They both hear someone coming. It was two boys. One is wearing a straw hat and the other has whiskers. Smoker narrowed his eyes at the boy with whiskers.

"That boy... he looks familiar."

"Dude, do you know where the platform is?" Luffy asked.

"How the hell should I know?" Naruto I'm new here." Luffy looked around then noticed Smoker and waved.

"Hey!" He approached them. Smoker turned to his soldier.

"Are those two members of this garbage?"

"No, I don't think so." He said.

"Hi, we need some help. Do you happen to know where they execute people around here?" Luffy asked.

"The platform?" Smoker asked

"Yeah, that. But we just can't seem to find it." Naruto said.

"I haven't seen you two, before." Smoker said with suspicion.

"Yeah, this is our first here on this island." Luffy said. "The town is a whole lot bigger than Fuchsia village. Looks really spread out too."

"Yeah..." Naruto agreed. "My village's is small compared to this."

"So why go to the platform?" Smoker asked. Luffy turned to him with a smile.

"To see where the king of the pirates died." Hearing that made Smoker gasp.

"I guess you don't know. Oh well." Luffy said.

"Let's go, Luffy." Naruto said as they start to take off.

"Hold it, just follow the smoke, kids." Smoker said as they saw him making a trial coming from the smoke of his cigar.

"Great, that way? We'll see ya later!" Luffy said as he Naruto walked towards the smoke. Smoker turns around to watch them leave.

Meanwhile, at a weapons shop, Zoro is looking for new swords. Unfortunately, it is too expensive for him.

"Damn it! These swords are all so freaking expensive!" He thinks back to asking Nami for spare Berries. Nami smirked and gives a peace signal.

Sure, I'll lend you some money. That'll be just 300 percent interest." Zoro growled in frustration.

"I can't afford to borrow any more money from that girl. But, I can't just go to the Grand Line, stuck with just one sword! There's gotta be a way!"

"Monster? How rude." A voice interrupts his thoughts he turns around to see a woman surrounded by two tall pirates.

She had short shoulder-length black hair, wearing red rectangular framed glasses, a floral buttoned shirt, blue capris, and dark pink boots.

"Our boss is behind bars because of you and your idiot of a captain!"

Haven't you learned your lesson?" She replied. The two men laughed at her.

"Definitely not! Guess we need you to teach us again." The big one with girly pigtails threatened.

"We're supposed to bring your corpse to our boss so that he can see that we've finished you off." The one with the vest said. The woman's glasses shined.

"If you insist, I will fight you." The woman said. The Pirates laughed at the threat.

"That is so cute."

"She's really very funny.

"You do know that you're a girl, right?" Zoro flicks out his blade and runs ahead to defend the girl. However, he was surprised to see her take out her sword and swing it against the pirates, knocking them down. Zoro stared in surprise while the crowd cheer for her.

"She did it."

"That was awesome!" The crowd yelled. However, the woman stumbled and fell into the ground, causing her glasses to drop as it lands near Zoro who picks them up.

"MY glasses... oh crap."

"Hey, here you go..." Zoro holds the glasses for her. Once he gets a closer look at her, he gasped.

"Thanks, that's so kind." The Swordsman accidentally broke her glasses. "Can I have my glasses now?" It was silent for a moment before they both gaspded.

"My glasses!" The woman cried.

"Oh, crap. I didn't mean too..."

"Those were really expensive."

"I didn't..." She got closer.

"You're gonna pay for those."

Naruto and Luffy found themselves lost on the trail and searched in every direction to find the platform.

"This really sucks, Naruto. Damn! I just want to find the execution platform and somehow, we keep getting turned around."

"Yeah.." Naruto agreed He held Luffy's shoulders. "We'll find it. Don't worry." Luffy nodded in agreement and walked with Naruto to an alley. Naruto looks up until he sees a sign.

"Hey, Luffy." He pokes Luffy's shoulders. Luffy turns around to see Naruto pointing at a sign. Luffy widens at the bar's name in the sign.

"Gold Roger... Naruto let's go." Naruto followed him to the entrance of the bar. They both see that the bar had empty stools and chairs on the table upside down. They turned around to see an old man sitting at a table... with a skull while drinking some wine.

"Excuse me, do you work here? The sign hanging outside, said this place is called the Gold Roger. How did it get that name?" Luffy asked. The man stared at him coldy.

"Scram. You should leave. This isn't the place for unaccompanied children besides we're closed for good, starting today."

"You're going under?" Naruto asked.

"No I'm not going under." He denied. Naruto turns his head around and whispered Luffy's ear.

"Looks like he is."

"I'm NOT! I'm not going under. I've decided to shut it down myself. I'm retiring." The old man told him.

"Sorry, I just wanted to know about the name." Luffy said as he and Naruto sat on a stool. "You see, we're looking for the execution platform but we're lost. Could you tell us the way?" Luffy then saw something that interested him.

"What the heck is that? Whoa... that is a huge skull! That is so cool!"

"Killer giant. One of the most feared villians to ever haunt the waters of the Grand Line. He sent hundreds of pirates to their deaths over the course of his life." He said while toasting the other glass. He then smirked. "But, it only took Gold Roger a single blow to the behemoth down for good."

"Gold Roger killed him?"

"With Lightning speed." He said with his arms up. You see, Killer Giant was known for using his massive blade, but it didn't matter. The whole fight was over before he could even raise it. And here's the wound that did it. Killer Giant was a terrible waste of human flesh away. But, with his dying breath, 'Gold Roger, I tip my hat off to you. You will forever be the king of the pirates.'" Hearting that made Luffy jump with excitement. Even Naruto was interested in the story as the old man continued.

"Eric Dowl, the man known as King, Silver Silvers, the world's greatest gunman. The giant brothers, they were famous for their strength. For they were indestructible demons feared by everybody. But, not Gold Roger."

"Yeah!"

"Nobody ever wants to hear my stories these days." The old man said.

"But, I do! Keep talking!" Luffy pleaded.

"Don't rush me..." The old man said. " Now, Gold Roger, in those days, I suppose even now, he's the only man that I've known not afraid of entering the Grand Line. Back then the Grand Line was a mysterious place. Boats that entered there would never seen nor heard from again. It was a sea of evil that people feared. Which few ever considered approaching. That is until Gold Roger came into my bar one day saying that he was going to visit it. After that he drank the whole place dry. He set out the next morning, like he was going sightseeing.

Then I wasn't surprised when I heard that he had conquered the Grand Line. I was happy to hear that he was the one who finally survived those evil seas. On this day, twenty two years ago, Gold Roger died on that platform and that's how it started. That's when it all began, the so called great pirate era, where everyone with a boat takes to be a pirate. But, look around this once great town. I bet you won't be able to find yourself a real pirate. Nothing here but cowards and scum. Men brave enough to make the journey to the Grand Line have all disappeared from these waters. There are no more true pirates left. That's why I'm closing down."

"I'm going to the Grand Line." Luffy exclaimed. "And Naruto here is coming with me."

"Huh?" The man asked in confusion.

"Oh yeah, Gold Roger is so cool. He's exactly how a pirate is supposed to be! That's why we're here to go to the Grand Line. To get our hands on the One Piece and then become King of the pirates." Luffy said. Naruto smiled at him and then turned back to the old man.

"Luffy's dream is similar to mine. My dream is to be Hokage. At first is to be respected but now, I want to be Hokage because I want to protect the people who matter to me. My friends, my future wife Sakura." He scoffed at first until he saw a vision of Gold Rogers in Luffy.

"Those are some pretty big words. Even more so with a smile." The bar tender smirked.

"I only said what I meant." Luffy replied.

"Young men, if there are still people like you out there, should I hold off on closing this place?"

"If you want." Naruto shrugged. The Old man walked out of his seat and walked to his bar table.

"In that case let's have a drink. I haven't been in this good of mood in a long time." He said.

"Sorry, but I don't drink alcohol." Luffy said.

"Neither do I." Naruto said. The Bartender laughed.

"All right, then how about this?" He pours three glasses of milk, one for him, Luffy, and Naruto. "Let's raise our glasses together. To the Eternal King of the Pirates." The bartender takes off his hat. Naruto and Luffy smiled and raised their glasses.

"Here's to To the King of the pirates!" Luffy declared as he uses his glass to touch Naruto's and the bartender's.

Sometime later, the Bartender sees the door open. He looks to see it was Smoker. He lets out a snarl.

"So it's you."

"Now, that's no way to treat a customer.." The captain said. Especially your only one."

"Why don't you cut the crap? You just want to see me close this place down!" The bTar tender interrupted. Smoker sat down.

"You don't have the right to be angry with me. I didn't turn all of the pirates around here into cowards. That was a decision that they all made on their own, once they got to know me that's all." Something suddenly caught his attention. It was three empty glass cups.

"Why isn't that nice? So, you had a guest?" Smoker asked. The man said nothing as he was looking for a drink. "I think I'd like a taste of rum, old man."

"I don't have any for you."

"Don't be such a bastard. Today is a very special day." He said as he used his smoke to pull a bottle of rum. He poured it on a glass and took a large drink. After reminiscing about Roger's execution, he hears one of his men come in.

"Hey, here's the new wanted posters." The captain turned around. The soldier saw him and immediately saluted. "Captain Smoker. My apologies, sir." The captain didn't listen. Instead, he walked over to look at the posters.

"That's the straw hat. Those kids were Monkey D. Luffy and Uzumaki Naruto." He takes a closer look then thinks back to Naruto. He looks back at the poster.

"At least his real hairstyle looks better."

Naruto and Luffy walked back into town as they arrived at the main square. Luffy was in awe.

"There it is, Naruto. This is where they executed the king of the pirates. The place where the greatest pirate who had ever lived, died. And the place where the great pirate age began." Luffy said. Naruto stared at the platform. They don't know that the Smoker is making its way towards them.

Sakura: That Naruto... he always get into trouble... which is why I love him.

Nami: That's cute and all but we gotta get out of here. Zoro, did you buy your swords.

Zoro: I'm working on it. I ran into some trouble. I'll get my swords.

Luffy: On the next Strawhat X Shiniboi... Zoro's new sword and a connection... I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!

Naruto: And I'm gonna be Hokage!"

Yep. We are getting there. I hoped you liked this. I based Naruto's new hat off of Sabo's and Sakura's off of Law's only purple. And just remember that I am gonna make Loungetown shorter. I wanna get to Alabasta as fast as possible. I hope you don't mind if I skip some scenes from it. I am not doing filler chapters because that would take too long. Anyway, I will post next chapter as soon as two weeks. Till then, enjoy this chapter.
