This story takes place after the series finale, "I Was Feeling Epic." Stefan adjusts to spending an eternity with Lexi while their daughter named Unity comforts those who he left behind. Damon realizes Stefan is not gone after all.

84. The Longest, Craziest, and Saddest Night

Time of Day: Night time

Place: An Abandoned Church Building

Unity (holding up a bottle): I am going to poison myself

Hope (pretending to be happy): Your death will be easy and peaceful

Unity: I want you to write down my last words

Hope: I am planning to do that

Oliver (pointing a loaded gun at himself): I am about to pull the trigger

Hope: Are you sure you want to kill yourself?

Oliver: I want you to write down my last words. Do you have your paper and pen?

Hope (getting out her paper and pen): I am ready whenever you are ready

(Before Oliver and Unity can kill themselves, Alaric ruins their fun. Although Hope is relieved, she hates that she is stuck in the middle of their drama)
