51. Grimm Hunting!

A/N: Episode 21 is here folks! Now the multiversal shenanigans continue in the land of Remnant!

Also forgot to mention that the Guardian Megafusion Vilius transformation is not something original I created. That is a form that Vilius does take in the show. But the time placement of Toxsa and the rest of the Tenkai Knights, along with Gen and Beni, was before that point in the show at the time I started writing this season so he hasn't seen it yet.

Also would like to give update on the Wattpad transfers. I'm still copying over chapters to there. Multiverse Edition is completely finished but I'm still several chapters behind for this particular season.

Raysen101: An interesting theory. We'll see if you're right. As for Jotaro, if this episode wasn't exclusively via video call he'd definitely be interviewed.

G-Man 2.0: Deciding to go half and half was something that I thought about when re-watching the Brandon VS Paul battle. Considering Ryu's abilities to see into the souls of other people and bring out their negative aspects to try and use his dark influence to manipulate them, I thought it'd be fitting for the clone to represent himself from the past along with using a couple of his own Pokemon from the past as well(basically the DP seasons before his development).

The Mandy thing was an oversight, so that one's on me.

MemeKing: Glad you enjoyed it. As I said before, it was fun to write, as insane as the last battles were. If it wasn't for your chapter battling Megatron in Infinite 1 coming to mind, I would have never thought of using some stuff from Devastation in the first place. But on the flipside, writing it just makes me think about the fact that a sequel will never be made, and it's all because of Activision losing the game license :/

But thanks to Kaindol's suggestion of Cicini, I have yet another obscure game to play through thanks to learning about her before writing the season lol.

"Last time on Total Drama Across the Multiverse! It was an action-packed day for our competitors. And that was because that was exactly what the challenge was about! Action! Action! And more action! The teams were tasked with taking on numerous villains consecutively, slightly inspired by the Mega Man games, if you know of them of course." Chris began.

Footage of the teams choosing their villain paths were seen.

"With the right to first choice being decided by using the coveted punching machine from the World Martial Arts Tournament, the teams, with the Kings choosing first, chose their paths out of the three. There were five stages. Each one being more difficult than the last. Five would go in at a team from each team, with there being five reserves in the event someone gets knocked out, totaling ten along with two temporary assists and one phone-a-friend for an entire round given to each team to help them out if they're in a pinch."

Footage of the teams traversing through each of the paths and fighting villains including Chuck the Evil Sandwich Making Guy, Slyger and Granox(in their Earth forms), Bebop and Rocksteady, Juri and Azula, Team Darkspin, Heather Chandler and Biff Tannen among others were seen.

"Things seemed pretty easy in the beginning. And it looked to be smooth sailing. Until it wasn't. After that first stage, none of the others the teams had to battle, including some of the Multiverse Edition returnee villains, were walks in the park, with members being lost even before the final stages for each team."

Footage of Myron, Ayame, Lotte, Mayuzumi, among others being knocked out, was shown.

"And the final stages, let's just say, you know what, hit the fan. Things started off pretty tame. Difficult and powerful guys to fight that was full of action. No problem there. Until they started really flexing their power. The Rats had to face a giant Spider-Vilius. The Kings had to face Ryu, who, along with his car Dragnite, continued getting stronger. Mind you, these cars were made for racing. Racing! And the Breakers had to face a Transformers in Starscream. And, surprise surprise, it wasn't just him. It was also Megatron, Blitzwing, Devastator, Menasor and regular Decepticon grunts with him. In other words, the Infinite challenge of facing Megatron, but harder. Although, I guess 'harder' is a bit of an understatement."

Footage of Natsu, with the help of the other three Tenkai Knights in Elemental Titan mode, working together to defeat the Megafused-Vilius was shown. Footage of the Kings having to face the true form of Dragnite Galleon along with having to push back the moon just to stop Ryu was shown afterwards. The final cut was to the Breakers, with the help of Autotbots Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Optimus, Wheeljack, Grimlock, and Captain of the Black Bulls Yami, defeating Megatron and the rest of the Decepticons, was shown.

"But in the end, no matter how hard or insane things got, results are all that matter. And the Breakers got it done, getting first place and the prize of a bed! Underwhelming I know. And if it wasn't for the fact that several people were just ready to go home, I probably would have heard more complaining about it from them. But trust me, if they keep winning, it'll be worth it! As for the Rats, with only two contestants remaining, they it was elimination time for them again. To the chagrin of Becky Farrah it seems. Something to potentially keep an eye on. And it was Cicini that got the axe next. No, not a real axe. Although, the Guillotine of Shame or the Execution of Shame sounds really good for a medieval-themed season. Hmm... would have to figure out how to get around the part of, you know, the actual executions and not get sued, or, in the case of Megatron, have people come after me."

Footage of Cicini's elimination was shown along with many of her teammates giving her a great send-off before she want back to her own portal, for the rest of the season.

"Oh yeah, forgot to mention, Bennett's older self has also claimed he'll be back for the rest of the season too. We'll see if that holds up. Starting now on Total... Drama... Across the Multiverse!"

Chris said before pressing a button. Several people were heard yelling in the background as the screen faded to black.

As Chris was preparing to recap previous episode, the remaining contestants were already chowing down. Well, at least the ones that could tolerate doing so anyway.

Several in particular were moreso surprised than disgusted at this point when it came to the display of some of them scarfing down the food, which in this case was lima bean souffle.

"How can you eat... whatever this is?" Noelle asked Asta, one of the culprits.

"Hey, don't knock it 'till you try it!" Kaz said, also eating the large bowl of souffle that he had.

"I'm gonna be honest, Chef's creativity is on another level. That dude can cook!" Zee said, also eating the souffle.

"Another level of disgusting. Why not this same creativity into making eatable food?" Fiona remarked.

"Come on, now you guys are just exaggerating. It's one thing to not like it, but it's not like it's uneatable." Diego said, also eating it. Though unlike Eijun, Asta, Kaz and Monta, he casually enjoyed the food, a genuine smile of joy on his face as he did so.

"No we're not!" Noelle and Fiona yelled.

"This is garbage! We should not have to endure eating this for days on end!" Noelle said.

"Then just don't eat it." Murasakibara casually said as he had several bags of chips and cookies laid out on the table in front of him, across the pair, a few seats down.

"That's easy for you to say when all you eat is trashy junk food! We should be given the option to eat real food!" Fiona shouted as Toto tried sniffing the souffle on Fiona's plate, only to cover it's nose.

"Well, we're not. And Court-chin already said protestin' doesn't work. Look, don't you guys come from like the future or somethin'? Why the hell don't you eat there? Just making problems for yourself..." He replied, digging into another chip bag.

"SO!? THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE HERE! IT SHOULDN'T EVEN BE SERVED IN THE FIRST PLACE!"

"Excuse me." Kurita said from behind her at another table, tapping her on the shoulder.

"WHAT!?" She quickly whipped her head around to ask, which caused the lineman to jump from the yell and quick whip around.

"I was just going to ask if you wanted your souffle."

"Be my guest. I don't really care."

"Thanks!" Kurita said before taking it and adding it into the large bowl he had, even larger than Kaz's. It was one of several, given to him by several people that didn't want to eat the meal before he began to what he collected in the bowl, to the disbelief of the people around him. Mainly Sly, Myron, Bren, Heather and Alejandro, with Bren being face first on the table, knocked out sleep.

"Well, look at it this way, it doesn't go to waste." Sly remarked, being one of the people that gave him his food.

"It already went to waste the minute Chef was the person that was going to use it." Heather remarked.

"First class level food is the only thing I'll miss about staying at that broken down shack." Alejandro said before sighing. "But, what's at most an hour or 90 minutes of less nutrition every other day for millions of dollars?"

"I'll admit, beats having to deal with Chef's cooking being the only thing you can eat. Unless you win of course." Sly said.

"I would say that's a no-brainer, but clearly there are people that disagree with that statement." Myron said, looking at some of the others that were unironically enjoying the food.

"And I'd also say they're welcome to destroy their stomachs if they want, but if you can consistently eat stuff like this, they'd give Ryu a run for his money." Heather said.

"And I thought Courtney had a strong stomach. Their durability is something I wish I had, but I do not envy their lack of care when it comes to their meal choices in the slightest." Alejandro said.

"Kurita, Kaz and Asta I understand. But Zee? I just don't think he cares enough." Heather said, watching as he continued to eat the concoction and chat with some of the others around him.

"Who knows?" Sly said before yawning. "At this point, I just want the challenge to start. Moreso out of boredom than anything else."

"Please don't jinx it. I know it's rich coming from me of all people after your reactions to our machine's capabilities, but I'd rather have something normal for a change." Myron said.

"Trust me, there's almost nothing that can match up to what the last challenge was."

"It's Chris. Anything's possible at this point." Heather remarked.

***Confessional***

Sly(Storm Kings):

"As shocking as the last challenge was, moreso out of how suddenly absurd the last fights were, I've been trapped in Egypt for who knows how long, along with some other time-travelling shenanigans. I know, it's not the same thing as pushing back the moon and fighting the child of a black hole, but still, I'm not just saying what I said to the others for no reason. Although... I wouldn't complain if there was a simpler challenge. As long as it's good."

***End Confessional***

At another table, things looked to have been a lot more positive. Or at least that was what it seemed like from face value.

"Like I said before, I don't have anything to say to you guys." Kunigami said to Molly, who elected to sit with him along with Mr. Wolf, Ruby G. and Jenny. Though Mr. Wolf was the one that joined in after seeing the others sitting with him.

"Look Moll, not everybody's going to be like you and, you know, like talking to people. Why don't you just leave the guy alone?" Scratch suggested.

"Hey, I get it. You're not exactly the only one here that's not the most social guy on the planet. But compared to the others who are like this, your emotion comes out a lot, similar to Kagami, Sendo and a couple others." Mr. Wolf said.

"Kind of like Furuya in a way. Except he's more like a quiet passion guy, if that makes sense." Jenny said.

"Basically, he's like Eijun, but-" Ruby G. started to explain but was cut off by Kunigami.

"I know what she means." Kunigami said, on the cusp of raising his voice.

"Well, we got you to say something." Molly said.

"And you're about to make me find another place to sit. Now if you don't have anything actually important to tell me, go bother someone else."

"Just one more question and we'll leave you alone." Mr. Wolf said, giving the three girls a look that pretty much said there wasn't going to be any arguing about it.

"Fine. What is it?"

"I think this is the second time you've actually really eaten this stuff? How come?"

Kunigami gave him a look that said, "That's what you wanted to ask me?"

"It's because... I'm hungry. The reason why you never see me eat this stuff is because I usually just eat at home. At least since we've been there. I don't have an opinion about it that's any different than anyone else's. But how the hell do you expect me to do anything to win on an empty stomach?" Afterwards, he got up from the table and left.

"I don't get it. You told him one more question and that's what you use it on?" Jenny asked, confused.

"Because, that was all I needed. And plus, you've gotta learn to read between the lines. A person can tell you a lot about themselves depending on how they answer. It's a skill you have to pick up and get better with over time." Mr. Wolf explained.

"And, what did you get from that?" Ruby G. asked.

"That the guy just wants to win."

"Isn't that the case for pretty much everyone here though?"

"Can't think of a single person that doesn't want to, at least somewhat. But for him, that's the only thing he wants." Mr. Wolf said, watching him as he threw away his plate from a distance.

***Confessional***

Mr. Wolf(Wave Breakers):

"I know what they're trying to do. And I think that's pretty nice of them to try and get people to open up. But not everyone takes that the same way. Forcing people to do something like this is only gonna make 'em close themselves off even more. Have to take it one step at a time. Hence why I said one more question. And I kinda hid a bit more info from those three. The stuff about him only wanting to win was true. But there's more to it then that. Does he come off as rude at times? Yes. But, he could have been rude with some of the answers he gave now. Not saying he's like Shiro with some hidden stuff going on about him. But he's not the rude a-hole that some people would make him out to be. Urien is worse than him when it comes to that."

"As for why I hid that extra info from them? Because they were only going to make things worse and try to push him into opening up more like he's Haizaki when he's not. Gotta save people from themselves sometimes."

***End Confessional***

About a minute later, everyone was called outside for their challenge. Though Chris was nowhere to be found as he was still recapping the last episode. The only thing they were told to come outside as instructed by Chef.

"If he's still recapping, couldn't you have waited until he was done, like what's always done for every other episode?" Lucy asked. "And second, what's going on with Rei?"

The person in question didn't look well at all. Her cheeks were flushed, and it wasn't because of Kagami. At least not for the reason most would think.

"I told her not to force herself." Kagami said. "Hey Chef, maybe take a hint and stop serving us this s[censored]tty-" He wouldn't be able to get the rest of what he wanted to say off as he and everyone else, was suddenly launched off the ground into and into a portal, with it immediately closing afterwards.

"What was that? I can't hear ya over the yellin'!" Chef called out before laughing to himself. "Impeccable timing Chris."

On the other side of the portal, several people were on the ground in several spots throughout wherever their new venue was.

The next thing Aomine knew, his lips were connected to someone with blonde hair and was wearing a black hoodie with a bunny on it. Covering the bunny was a white diamond-shaped chest plate and matching shoulder spaulders and reddish-orange sleeves. His blue jeans and black high tops couldn't be seen under the table he was sitting at. Both he and Aomine had muffled yells after they realized what was happening and pushed each other away to pull away from the accidental kiss.

"What the hell!?" Both said simultaneously.

"Okay, first off, who are you and where did you come from?" The blonde-haired teen asked.

"Reality show. Chris really couldn't have just have us walk through a portal like any other day couldn't he? Bad enough I couldn't get anything to eat." Aomine said.

"What are you talking about?"

"You'll find out soon."

"You just flew into the public library and kissed me. You expect me to roll with 'You'll find out soon'?"

"Look man, it's not like I wanted to do that."

Before the teen could do anything else to respond, someone was heard screaming.

"Ruby!" He then suddenly tried to pin Aomine to the ground, but to his surprise, missed.

"I can already tell where this is headed, but I'll apologize later." Aomine said before kicking him. Though he ducked and quickly tackled him to the ground.

"Next time I'm not going to ask nicely. Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"You call that tone nice blondie?"

"Okay, let me make it better for yo-"

Aomine suddenly yawned in his face, which repulsed the person that was on top of him. "No hygiene either. You're not scoring too many poi-"

He was suddenly punched in the face before he was quickly pinned himself. And to the surprise of his opponent, Aomine wasn't exactly able to easily be moved off himself.

"Not exactly my fault I was woke up with no opportunity to even get the damn crust out of my eyes." Aomine said.

"Too much information."

"Jaune stop!" Someone called out from a distance.

Both turned and looked to see the person that was talking. She had a red waist-length ponytail and wore the standard school uniform, which was a red plaid skirt, stockings, and a brown jacket with a tan vest and white shirt with a red ribbon tied at the collar. This gave Jaune, the person she was referring to, the chance to turn the tables on Aomine and try to get him into a stronger hold, which again, seemed to have not been as easy as Jaune would have thought because of Aomine's surprising strength.

"Nice one Pyrrha, now could you give me a hand? This guy's stronger than I thought."

"Oh, you really thought I was just some weak guy? Do you not see these muscles dumba*s?" He said, referring to the fact that he was wearing a gray muscle shirt along with blue shorts.

"Um, I'm not joking here!" Jaune called out to her.

"Neither am I! Both of you need to stop!" Pyrrha insisted. The next thing they knew, Christmas-color blurs were seen.

The sources revealing themselves to have been Sena and Ruby Rose.

"It's okay Jaune! He's a friend!" Ruby said.

Another blue was seen, this one being Blaze. "Great. Looks like I was too late."

"What good that'll do. Too late for that now." Aomine remarked before elbowing Jaune away. "Get the hell off me already."

"Did you really have to elbow me?" Jaune remarked, not exactly happy that he had to be so forceful just to get him off.

"Apparently so."

"Come on you two, I get it was a misunderstanding, but we've already established that no one's an enemy here." Blaze said.

"Yeah, that was more than just a misunderstanding." Aomine said.

"Let's just leave it at that." Jaune added. "Anyways, he mentioned a reality show. Does that mean... we're on reality TV!?"

"Yes!" Ruby squealed with excitement. Though she was still notably in her pajamas.

"Quick question. How come you're still in your pajamas?" Aomine asked, confused.

"Oh that. Uh... I don't know actually."

"The hell do you mean you don't know!?"

"Look, I didn't know we'd have a challenge today!"

"How!? We literally only come to the island for that you moron!"

"No we weren't!"

"Yes we were!"

"Then how come we weren't brought there then? That doesn't make any sense!"

"Yeah, it doesn't! Look, let's just find Chris. I'm sure he's got some long, drawn out explanation for all this."

"Right." Ruby said before speeding off. But she sped back. "As soon as I get dressed in my actual clothes that is." She added before speeding off again.

"Attention students at Beacon Academy! Our guests have arrived! Please report outside to the Emerald Forest!" A voice said on the intercom.

"Well, we at least know where to go." Jaune said before Pyrrha took the lead in where to go.

"So if you're from the same show as her, all of you are her teammates I'm guessing?" Pyrrha guessed.

"Actually, I'm not." Sena said.

"Neither am I." Blaze said.

"I am though." Aomine said.

"Then how do you all know of her then?" Pyrrha asked, confused.

"Maybe they're on opposing teams. The show is a competition after all." Jaune said.

"That makes sense. Admittedly, I haven't watched the show at all so I don't really know how things work. I hope Ruby and the others won't be too upset with me."

"Honestly, I haven't either. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been so hasty in attacking Aomine. So they'll probably be just as upset with me as they would with you. Speaking of which..." He turns to Aomine and extends a hand. "Sorry for attacking you earlier."

Aomine looks at the hand for a few seconds before ultimately deciding to take it as they shook. "Yeah, sure. But hey, after what happened, that reaction's kinda warranted."

"So you mean I have permission to punch you again?"

"Let me be specific, the stuff before the punching."

"Darn. 'Cause you do have a punchable face."

"Eh, you're kinda not wrong on that. For... multiple reasons. But, counterpoint: you definitely have an annoying one. Lucky me that I get to meet another annoying blonde."

"I'm not that annoying. And wait a sec, how many other blondes have you met? Other than Yang?"

"Too many."

"Let's see if we can change that by the end of the day."

"Well, you can start by not moving this." Aomine said before forming lips with his hands.

"Ah-" Jaune raised his hand, starting to protest but stopped to remain silent.

"You promised." Aomine said, smiling a little.

"Well, they're being pretty friendly with each other it seems." Pyrrha said to Sena and Blaze with Sena only offering a little laugh. "Hmm, guess it makes sense you wouldn't have too much to say. Neither of you are on his team." She added as they were now outside.

"So what do you guys do on this show? Sorry if that seems like a dumb question. Like I said, embarrassingly enough, I never watched a single episode. Some friend I am..." Pyrrha asked.

"If you're busy, then you don't have anything to apologize for. Just missing something like this doesn't automatically stop making you friends." Blaze said.

"I know but, to not know anything?"

As Sena, Blaze and Aomine explained to the pair how the show worked, they finally arrived to the Emerald Forest, where the rest of the contestants along with Chris, Chef, and several other spectators along with two adults being present. They lined up alongside the others, with Pyrrha and Jaune joining the rest of the spectators from the school.

"Took you guys long enough." Yang said.

"It's Aomine and Jaune." Weiss said.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Kise asked.

"You don't get it?" Ruby R. asked in disbelief. "Me neither." She added.

"Huh. Was kinda wondering why nobody was breathin' down my neck today." Aomine said.

"What? I wasn't-"

"Not you, her." He said, pointing to Weiss.

"With that attire, someone should be." Weiss remarked.

"What's wrong with it? Looks okay to me." Jaune said.

"Yeah. You mean you don't want to see his muscles? I've heard of guys asking girls to be conservative, but the other way around?" Nora Valkyrie remarked.

Nora had orange hair and turquoise eyes and wore a collared black sleeveless vest, with a blue central front section with red accents, with a black hammer emblem inside a pink circle on the back. Under the vest, she wears a white sleeveless t-shirt with a heart-shaped cutout above her breast line in the center accompanied with a pair of white detached sleeves on each arm, and a pair of light pink fingerless gloves. She also wore a pink skirt.

"Or maybe she wants to keep them to herself." Yang said before snickering.

"He doesn't even look presentable in the slightest! That's where my criticism stems from. Not from 'not wanting to see his muscles'." Weiss insisted.

"Oh so you do want to see them?"

Heat was starting to rise in Weiss' cheeks. "No, that's not what I- Chris, what's the delay!? Start the challenge!"

"Not like I really had time to make a choice. I just threw somethin' on that was comfortable." Aomine remarked.

"Hold on. Give me a few more seconds to make sure everything looks okay." Chris said.

"Make sure what looks okay?! There's nothing else here you could possibly check!" Weiss yelled out in frustration.

"That's quite enough Ms. Schnee. Calm yourself and exert some patience." One of the adults said. She was a middle-aged woman with very light blonde hair tied back in a bun. A curl hung down the right side of her face. She wore thin ovular glasses over her green eyes, a teal pendant and matching dangling earrings. Her attire was long-sleeved, white pleated blouse with a white keyhole neckline, something that one person had already taken a notice of. The lower half of her body was covered by a black pencil skirt extending to her waist with bronze buttons. Finishing off her outfit were black boots with brown heels and a cape that was purple on the inside and black on the outside.

"Yes, professor."

"Heh, that shut her up real quick." Aomine remarked low which caused the man next to the woman to clear his throat. Aomine didn't know how, but he could somehow feel that that throat clear was directed towards him and immediately went silent, eyes now fully open.

The man in question had silver hair that was tousled, thin brown eyes and black eyebrows. He wore shaded glass spectacles, a small purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl of his neck. His outfit consisted of an unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest and green shirt along with dark green pants and black trouser shoes. His cane also doubled as his personal weapon dubbed, "The Long Memory".

"Okay, I think we're good. So, we can now get started. For starters, let's get you guys up to speed on where exactly you've been taken to, if Ruby and the other locals haven't told you already. This is the land of Vale, one of the Kingdoms on the world of Remnant! And the school that most of you landed in is Beacon Academy, where Ruby, Weiss, Yang and Blake attend to train to become Huntresses." Chris explained.

"What about Penny?" Dewey asked.

"Unlike my friends, I do not attend Beacon Academy. Or for that matter, any school. I originate from Atlas." Penny answered.

"Even so, there's still just as much of a chance that you'll get to compete today." The man said. "But before we go any further. Allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Ozpin, headmaster of Beacon Academy."

"And I am Glynda Goodwitch, professor and Headmistress of Beacon. As for today's challenge, you all will be participating in the same initiation that all first-year Beacon students are put through. Teamwork is paramount for you to pass this challenge."

"Not like we haven't done that for the other 20 episodes." Todd remarked, which caused Glynda to shoot him a look.

"I would also like to suggest that you all carefully listen to the information that you are given, as that could mean the difference between you leaving here with victory or defeat." Ozpin said.

"Your challenge will take place here, in the Emerald Forest, just as before with the Invitational." Glynda said before gesturing to the forest behind her and Ozpin.

"Your goal is to traverse through the forest safely. But, doing so will not be easy. Though I'm sure you knew that already." Ozpin said as he looked at each of the possible participants for the challenge. "Littered throughout the forest are creatures known as Grimm. Considering that this is their second stint in this competition, I trust that Ms. Rose and/or some of the others have at least hinted at what Grimm are."

"I don't remember honestly." Ruby R. said, shrugging.

"Me neither. Probably did at least once though." Yang said.

"I... don't recall. Sorry." Weiss said.

"Can't say I've done it." Blake said.

"If you would like Headmaster Ozpin, I could provide an explanation." Penny offered.

"Hmm... proceed." Ozpin answered to the surprise of Glynda, though she tried not to blatantly show that surprise on her face.

"Thank you Headmaster Ozpin." Penny said before walking out to stand in front of her peers to begin to explain. "Grimm are soulless creatures of destruction. Unlike I and team RWBY, along with team JNPR, Professors Ozpin and Goodwitch along with many others, they are unable to use Aura. And that is because they lack a soul."

"Wait, Penny, so even though you're an android, you have a soul?" Jenny asked.

"Absolutely! It is thanks to my father that I am able to have one."

"Which explains how Ryu was able to try to manipulate you like the others. His manipulation only works because he can see inside the souls of those around him." Shiro concluded.

"So that ability would be ineffective against robots like Bass and X? If only we would have had to face him. Would have been a lot less hassle than Vilius that's for sure." Tangle remarked.

"Not really. You're choosing whether to get punched, kicked or thrown to the ground. It's still going to hurt regardless, just like that was still going to be insanely difficult." Dan said.

"Speaking of Ryu Kaizel, Grimm are drawn towards negative emotions, which causes them to usually be seen in areas where those emotions are prominent." Penny continued. "From what teammate Maki has said before, she has also dealt with something similar called Curses."

"Yep. Though in their case, they're made up of those emotions." Maki confirmed.

"Crazy how most of us share some type of similarities in our own worlds with at least one other person's. A small multiverse we live in." Diego remarked before laughing a little.

"These monsters are one of the main adversaries that Huntsman and Huntresses face. Some of the possible types of Grimm include Ursai, Nevermores, Beowolves..." Penny continued to explain. As she did, Glynda whispered something to Ozpin.

"I don't understand. What is your thinking behind allowing Penny to explain?" Glynda asked.

"I find it that the others will have a better chance at listening to one of their own explain it to them and they ask them questions rather than us."

"One of their own..." She gave a glare at Penny as Ruby also chimed in to answer a question from someone. "I see."

Seconds later, Penny had finished her explanation with Ruby also chiming in occasionally.

"Headmaster and Headmistress, I am finished." Penny said to the pair.

"Excellent. Now we can proceed to explaining the rest of the challenge. I am sure Ruby, during Penny's explanation, attempted to give you a preview of what to expect during the challenge." Ozpin said.

Ruby gasped. "How did you know!?"

"While some things she has told you are true, some aspects of the challenge have been changed to conform to this competitive series."

"That's right." Chris started.

"Here are the following ways you can score some points here: First, there are some artifacts you can pick up . But there are only four. Which means, there's going to be some unlucky people that won't be able to get one. If you can get the artifact and come back here with them intact, those will grant your team a bonus of 300 points each. You'll also get an extra hundred for every Grimm you find and take out. It can be as many or as few as you want. The more adventurous you are, the higher the reward you'll get when it comes to your team being rewarded more points."

"But be warned. I cannot stress enough how dangerous Grimm are. If your guard is down, or you hesitate, even for just a moment, there is the strong likelihood that you will get hurt, or die."

Some of the faces of the contestants, such as Lotte's and Kurita's were of worry or fear, with the first two having beads of sweat appear on their foreheads after hearing this from Ozpin.

"You're not going to actually let us die right?" Dewey asked, trying to keep a self-assured positive tone in his voice.

"In this case, with how the game works, no one from here, including Professors Ozpin and Goodwitch, are allowed to intervene unless the game threatens to endanger the school. So in other words, unless the game gets out of hand, don't expect anyone to come and help you. You're on your own." Chris answered.

"Great. And this time the threat is real." Bren said.

"And legal." Becky F. said.

"Legal?"

"If this is the tradition of the school itself, I think Chris has a better chance of skirting lawsuits that come his way, even though that chance was already high to begin with." Emma explained.

"But you don't have all day. You've got 90 minutes. And that's it. No extra time will be given for any reason no matter how much you say 'We're so close!' Don't wanna hear it. But thankfully for you, the school has given you access to some basic weapons to deal with Grimm... if you want or need them that is. And one more thing." Chris said before Chef handed all of them blindfolds. "Once you choose your weapons, put these on."

"What for?" Ben asked.

"You'll see. Just hurry up and put 'em on."

Everyone, with reluctance, after those that needed and/or wanted them got weapons, put the blindfolds on. As they did, the confessional was brought in by Heloise and Doyle from a portal.

"Now then, prepare to be launched!"

"Ohh, now I get it. You're using the blindfolds to try and make it harder for us to seee!" Randy yelled out but nothing happened to him. "Either I'm dead or-"

"Nope, you're not dead. You're just one of the ones to not get picked." Chef said. "But you also look like an idiot for just yellin' out loud."

"Well, I was anticipating it happening so..."

"But it didn't. Anyways, you may have noticed that six of your fellow teammates are no longer here with you." Chris started.

"Which could potentially be literally the case." Kageyama commented.

"As long as they have some way to land, they'll be fine. We went through the same thing of being launched. Minus the blindfolds." Ruby R. said.

"Yeah, the blindfolds was my personal touch. Didn't want to make it too easy for you to land. Anyways, whichever six you see gone are the six that'll represent you for this challenge. Whichever team of six nets the most points gets their team team the win. Get the lowest and someone's going to have to pay for it. In an elimination!" Chris said.

"Looks like Din's gone along with Blake. I'm not too worried about those two. Especially Blake since she's done this before. Can't say I can say the same for Courtney." Yang said.

"Ten bucks says she hurt herself and is complaining about it." Aomine remarked.

"We've already had a couple of people injured as it is. Let's not manifest that into reality, even if you were making a joke. Albeit a horrible one." Weiss commented.

"Pot calling the kettle black, princess."

"There's a difference between something that's not funny and tone-deaf."

"So you admit you're not funny?"

"I can make jokes. They're just too clever for you all to get."

"That's a good cope snowflake."

"Yeah, jokes aren't your specialty. Sorry." Jaune said. "Leave that to the pros. Like me."

"Change pro to amateur and you're spot on." Yang remarked.

"Well, he's trying at least. Persistence should be applauded." Pyrrha remarked.

"Yeah, I think some of his jokes are funny." Ruby R. remarked.

"Look at it this way, you can't be worse than the blonde prince of cat jokes." Sendo remarked, thumbing to Adrien.

"Meouch." Adrien said.

"See what I mean?"

"You can call it cope all you want. I bet you don't even know what cope means Bluey." Weiss said to Aomine.

"Bluey? Wow. I am genuinely shocked. At how you were able to royally screw up giving me a nickname." Aomine said.

"What? It's supposed to be good. It's based off a show I watched when inter-dimensional cable was accessible."

"Your definition of good TV probably sucks, so I really don't wanna hear it. Can you guys like, drown this out with some commentary or somethin'?"

"Ugh, rude. Better than the mindless brainrot I'm sure you watch on hours end."

"Okay, number one-

"Alright, let's take a listen in at how the teams are faring." Chris said, leaving the rest of the pair's TV argument to be unheard by the audience.

Blake used her Gamboul Shroud to grapple onto a tree branch before safely landing on the ground along with grabbing ahold of Mayuzumi and Octavia. Din used his jetpack to try and slow his descent. Sebastian's landing wasn't pretty by any means. But at the very least, it looked as if he was okay.

Puss, after taking off his blindfold mid-decent, used his sword to stick into a tree to stop his fall. He notably had a small pouch with him that had some explosives in them, courtesyof May.

Sucy used a potion, which grew into a mushroom for her to safely land and slide off of. Kurita, despite looking like he took the worst of it, actually seem to have not, landing perfectly fine with no injuries at all, despite falling through a tree and going through several branches. And that was probably because it was the person under him that took the worst of it. A muffled voice was heard by Kurita and he immediately got up.

Before he could even apologize, he was kicked to the ground by said person. "Plump idiot!"

"Sorry..." Kurita said as he got up from off the ground.

"That's what you'll be saying to your team when you lose. Again!" She taunted as she ran away.

Blaineley(Wave Breakers):

"Hmm, looks like I might be in trouble against these Grimm. Guess I should hide and let the others take care of it... Is what I would say if our resident genius didn't build this!" Blaineley said before showing off the new and improved glove this one being red to compliment her outfit. "And best of all, with this revision, it no longer looks tacky! And some other stuff that I kind of tuned out of listening to. Keep churning out those inventions and we'll keep you around! Of course, that'll be until I kick you out when the numbers start to really drop. Can't have someone like that around for too long or she'll start using those against us. Moreso me."

"Know I'm a bit late on this but Jesus, Weiss and Aomine need to just kiss already. That little banter they're doing to one up each other's not clever. And it sure as hell isn't convincing me they're not into each other. If anything it's annoying. Least Kagami and Rei got it out of the way."

As for Courtney and Emma, the latter had landed on top of the former in bushes.

"Get off me!" Courtney said, pushing Emma off, in pain from the landing.

Emma had a pretty good feeling that some of that push was with a little extra force because it was Emma that landed on her. But she decided not to retaliate and focus on the challenge and started to run off, bow and arrow in hand.

Courtney(Storm Kings):

"You know what? I could have been petty enough to try and interfere with what she's doing. But if these Grimm actually do show up, that could get me in trouble. And not just with the team, but actual physical danger. Besides, if we win, she won't be able to use the excuse of 'well, overall, our team still won'. Being the reason she's eliminated due to the team winning will be the best bragging right to have over her."

Furuya, with the help of Bakura and Electric Lizard, a small purple zombie-type monster, with the latter catching him.

"Are you alright?" Bakura asked before Furuya saw exactly what caught him, which caused his eyes to widen a bit in surprise. "Don't worry, he's a friend. I tried to get some cards from home that were less likely to scare you and many of the others. Emphasis on 'less likely'. Of course, I'd never use them in a duel since they're not a part of the structure deck I have but, not something that probably would really matter much here anyways."

"Let's... get going." Furuya simply said.

"Right."

The two began to traverse the Forest, with Furuya wielding a sword and Bakura wielding a crossbow.

Yami Bakura(Wave Breakers):

"While I'm sure my deck is more than capable of holding it's own against these Grimm, I could end up drawing too much attention on myself with those cards if I rely on them too much, similar to how Team JET, Bren, Paul, and to an extent, even Julie have. In a season like this with such high numbers and even more on the way down the line, the best way to last is to be somewhere right down the middle. Not weak enough to be considered a liability and not strong, efficient and/or reliant enough to be considered a threat down the line. Something that I am almost certain is going to happen for a few people here.

Kunigami and Ruby G. had also landed together while Dwayne and Yulaw both landed alone.

The first thing all of the teams did was talk to each other with their different forms of communication.

"You guys still alive?" Dwayne asked, sword in hand from the Chima challenge. He got resounding 'yeah's and 'yes'es from everyone. Everyone except for Bakura.

"Bakura, you alright?" Dwayne added after not getting an answer from him.

"He's okay." Furuya answered before Bakura talked to him into Furuya's ear.

"Sorry, the landing caused me to smash the earpiece. Just my luck it seems." Bakura said.

"It's okay. As long as you're alive, that's all that matters. I can always just make another one." Reagan said, listening in on the six as well.

"Considering who we have, it's probably a good idea for us to regroup and work together." Dwayne suggested to the other five.

"Good idea. Weapons or not, we don't have the luxury of abilities to help us. No offense to what Reagan's made us of course." Ruby G. said.

Meanwhile for the Kings, their plan was pretty similar.

"Blake, you have the most experience with this. Stay with Octavia and Mayuzumi so you three can work together. Courtney, it's a good idea for you to find either Sebastian or the other three and do the same thing." Din said as he was in the air, looking overhead.

"And I'm guessing you will go off on your own?" Sebastian asked.

"Yes. Everyone should still keep in touch with each other if something important happens."

"Okay. Just be careful." Courtney said, special binoculars in hand as she checked her surroundings.

"Will do."

The Rats had a bit of a different plan.

"Someone needs to stick with Noah and help him out." Emma said.

"The same could be said for you too." Noah said.

"Okay, fair point."

"Another idea. You two work together. Kurita, Sucy, do you think you can catch up to them and help them out?" Yulaw asked.

"Okay!" Kurita quickly accepted.

"If I find them, sure." Sucy said, sword in hand, indifference in her voice as pretty much always.

"Puss and I will stay off to ourselves." Yulaw said.

"While I appreciate your confidence in me, I still believe we are stronger together." Puss said before a thought came to him. "Unless..."

"Do you see what I'm getting at now? You stay off to yourself and use your size to your advantage. You can get the artifacts undetected."

"An excellent plan my friend! Best of luck to all of you."

"Likewise."

"Well, at least we know the communications are working fine." The Older Bennett said as he watched the action with his younger self and the rest of the team.

"Yeah. Don't know why I didn't think of bringing a computer with me though." Young Bennett replied.

"Don't think we'll need it for this honestly. But that is a good idea for future reference."

"Huey and I took the time to really look at the binocucom tech, and we finally finished what Cameron was able to help start. With Bentley's permission for modifications of course via Sly. Now everyone has what Sly does! Well, the communications at least. Cool, right? Although, there's still a few things we'd like to add eventually, like special functions for different members."

"Honestly, I'm impressed with the dedication they've put into replicating the binocucom tech. No surprise that Bentley was okay with it being modified after I told him about it. Though something tells me he's interested in the spin they'll put on it too. For ideas, not to steal them. We may be thieves, but there's a difference between our line of work and what most petty thieves would do."

As they traversed the forest, Blake was the first of the silent reading trio to break the silence.

"Alright Mayuzumi, I want you to be honest with me. You've been upset with people every time you've been in a challenge. Now I could be wrong on the number, but I know for sure it's at least been twice. What's going on?"

He didn't say a word.

"You don't have to answer me, but know that silence isn't always the answer. And neither is acting out on people that just want to help you."

"If I want help, I'll ask for it. Just that simple." Mayuzumi said.

"Then I guess you're more than capable of handling these Grimm on your own." Octavia said.

"Not what I meant. I don't even know how they really look."

"Sarcasm aside, your Misdirection would probably be really effective against them for a sneak-"

Blake's ears suddenly twitched. "Quiet." She said. Though doing that wasn't exactly that hard for the three. She could hear growling from a distance.

"Grimm, get ready. I'll get their attention, then you two can sneak and take them out."

"I know what it's like to be like that. Staying silent and off to yourself. Reading to distance yourself from people. I don't know what his background is like and I certainly won't compare it to mines or others' without knowing. Just saying that I know what that looks like. And that certainly looks like that to me. But it's up to him to choose to want to talk about it. People like that, forcing them to do it isn't helping them. It actually makes it worse. The best way to help is to be gradual with it and take what you can get. But acting out on people that genuinely want to help you like Ruby and Akashi? I can't say I'm a fan of that at all."

Blake silently went up a tree and used her binocucom to see three black wolf-like monsters with two additional black bear-like monsters in a clearing from a distance.

Knowing that she'd have the element of surprise on them, she looked back at where Mayuzumi and Octavia were and saw that the two were hiding in a bush, peeking out just enough to see Blake. She was about to attack until someone was seen running through the forest and decided to stop in the worst place imaginable to catch their breath. That someone being Kurita.

"Noah, Emma, are you guys okay?" He asked in between breaths.

"Yeah, we're fine. Just found Noah, but we haven't found any Grimm yet. Are you though? You sound like you're running from something." Emma said.

"No. Just trying to hurry and catch up to-" He looked up and saw the growling creatures look at him and slowly advance on him before he had a look of terror on his face. He yelled and tried to run but one of the wolves blocked his path and pounced on him. He tried to desperately keep it away as it was inches from making his face its first meal for the day. The problem was the others that were about to converge on him. And he knew that he was in deep trouble.

At least if it weren't for Blake who prematurely jumped and attacked the others with her Gamboul Shroud, mixing in shots, slashes and other quick attacks to avoid getting herself surrounded along with shooting the Beowolf that was on Kurita off him.

Kurita took a few breaths before blinking as he continued to watch Blake fight.

"T-thank you." Kurita said.

"Hey! Quit messing around and go find the nerd and that lawyer!" Hiruma yelled in his ear, also listening in on his teammates.

"Okay! Sorry!" Kurita quickly ran off as Blake saw him out the corner of his eye running away. She could only shake her head before she immediately put all of her attention back on the Grimm that had now changed their target to the Faunus in front of them. And with them distracted, Octavia and Mayuzumi were able to launch a surprise attack on the unsuspecting Grimm, Octavia using the rifle that she had and Mayuzumi doing the same thing with his own rifle. Blake was able to take care of the rest herself.

"Thanks." Blake said.

"No problem." Octavia said.

Mayuzumi simply nodded.

"Alright, let's keep moving." Blake said.

Meanwhile, Kunigami and Ruby G. were still roaming the forest.

"Man, still nothing. Hope the others are having better luck than we are. A map would do wonders. But I guess that would be too easy huh?" Ruby G. said with Kunigami giving no response or comment. Ruby had a sword and shield, both of which were on her back while Kunigami had gauntlets.

"So, what made you want to choose gauntlets?" She asked, trying to get something out of Kunigami.

"Easier for me to use. Obviously I'm not on the level of Sendo who does this it professionally, nor do I really call myself a fighter, but it's a lot easier for me to punch, since I know that's something I can do than it is for me to try to swing a weapon around. Or shoot." Kunigami answered.

"Ooh, makes sense. Speaking of swing, kind of wondering how the heck Ruby can swing around that big scythe. She's gotta be stronger than she looks."

"It's not that hard to swing." Ruby R. commented back where everyone was watching.

"Oh, just one more question and I'll leave you alone. Promise. We've gotta focus on the challenge after all."

"Like I haven't heard that one before. But fine. What is it now?"

"The Wild Card. I heard you came from there in Blue Lock unlike Isagi and Bachira. What is it?"

"Nothing you need to concern yourself with. I survived it and it's a thing of the past now."

"Well, that's good to hear at least. Must have been really tough."

Suddenly, something flew over them, which caused the two to immediately look overhead. From the figure, it looked to have been a person.

"Hey, any of you got something to fly with?" Ruby asked all of her teammates.

"No." Furuya said.

"Nope. Why?" Dwayne asked in a low voice.

"No. Did you see something?" Blaineley asked, still traversing the forest herself and looking around. But it was a look not because she was keeping her head on a swivel, it was because she was looking for something.

"Uh yeah. Saw someone flying overhead. Looks to have been a person, not a monster."

"Probably someone from another team." Dwayne said, still in a low voice.

"Can't confirm, but that may be Din since he's the only one capable of flying." Reagan said to the six.

"Or Doyle. He and Heloise aren't here either." Hanamiya remarked. "I suggest you keep your guard up."

"Okay, thanks." Ruby said before turning to Kunigami. "Yeah, I think that's a sign that we need to get moving."

"Took you 20 years to realize that?" Kunigami remarked.

But at the very least, Ruby was right with one teammate having more success than they were. That teammate being Dwayne, which explained why he was talking low.

"Looks like Dwayne's the first on his team to find something. Let's see if that VermTech degree plays a part in him taking out some Grimm for his team." Chris said.

Dwayne slowly approached the two Beowolves that were walking around.

He waited patiently for the perfect time to strike before leaping in and actually throwing his sword into one of their heads, anticipating that they'd dodge the initial attack. Now the problem was dealing with the second one. It tried to pounce on him but he had a quick enough reaction time to get out of the way.

Blaineley had actually heard the commotion but decided to keep moving instead. Although someone else did he exact opposite. Dwayne quickly ran to get the the sword out of the impaled and deceased Beowolf to take out the other. But a small fearless hero would throw a wrench in his plans, jumping on the Beowolf that was distracted with Dwayne and put his sword right in the eye of the Beowolf. Disoriented, it ran every which way before he jumped off it and threw grenades at it, causing it to meet its demise from the explosion.

"Thank you for the assist." Puss said to Dwayne before tipping his hat to him and quickly running off.

"Oh I'll give you an assist alright!" Dwayne said, sword in hand and attempting to chase Puss through the forest.

"Dwayne stop! Stick to the plan remember?" Ruby G. reminded him.

Dwayne sighed and stopped, knowing she was right. "Yeah. Alright. Sorry. I'll try to stay in one spot so you guys can find me. I'm by a large rock."

"Okay. Thanks."

"Wow. Who knew a fearless hero like Puss could be such a thief?" Chris remarked. "But hey, that's a hundred for his team, so it works out in the end for him."

The leaderboard was updated to reflect just that, as the two scored the first hundred points for their teams respectively, and for the challenge in general. Though it wouldn't be this way for long as the rest of the solo acts would also encounter Grimm.

Sucy was face-to-face with a large snake-like creature known as a King Taijitu.

It started to hiss at her before she was surrounded by its body. The minute it tried to constrict her and looked as if it was about to bite her head off, she took out a potion bottle and poured the contents into its mouth. "Snack on this instead."

Seconds later, it started to feel the effects of the potion before its body was purple.

"Don't worry everyone. Help is on the way." Sucy said to the others as she got on top of the snake's body as it advanced in the direction that Sucy instructed it to go.

Though Yulaw was the last person that needed help. With no eyes watching him, he was free to be as merciless with the as he wanted to be, beating the guts out of two Beowolves with his bare hands, getting on top of an Ursa before shooting it point blank in the face with a shotgun, and throwing the claw of a scorpion-like Death Stalker at another Taijitu so hard, the snake collapsed in one hit. Though he shot at it multiple times for good measure. The leaderboard reflected his performance.

"So wait, how do you guys know when a team scores if we can't see what's going on?" Jaune asked.

"Can't reveal that. Just know that it works." Chris said as Bakura and Furuya were revealed to have scored 300 more points for their team, with Sebastian also scoring 600 by himself.

Sebastian looked at the several dead Grimm before him.

"Well then, that wasn't too difficult." Sebastian commented.

Bakura and Furuya meanwhile, were now in some sort of cave. But not to hide or to find Grimm. It was because Furuya was knocked out, by Bakura himself, who was supposedly going to "take care of business", in private, of course. He also smashed his form of communication as well.

"Now that that baggage has been taken care of, let's see what we can do." Bakura said, Duel Monsters cards now in hand.

***Confessional***

Yami Bakura(Wave Breakers):

"I could have left him out in the open, and took his weapon or destroyed it like I did his earpiece, but I decided to at least make it seem like I tried to make sure he wasn't killed. Of course, I'm not responsible for anything that happens to him once I'm gone. I'll let little Bakura deal with those consequences."

The confession concluded with him laughing before it cut.

Yulaw(Radical Rats):

"Seeing how these Grimm are I could probably take them with my bare hands. But, who would pass up on free weapons?"

Back where Chris, Chef and the rest of the spectators were, the points were starting to pile up for the three teams. Currently, the Kings were leading with the Breakers not being too far behind.

Noah and Emma were working with Kurita to take out any Grimm they had found, though it was moreso Noah and Emma doing the heavy lifting as Kurita didn't seem as if he knew how to use the kunai with chain+ gun combo weapon that he had. And it got him into more trouble than it should have. He tried to fire the weapon but the recoil was too much for him to handle and he fell to the ground before one of the gorilla-like Beringel picked him up and threw him into Noah, who was helping Emma fend off some of the Grimm. All three were now cornered by the Beringel and a couple of Beowolves and an Ursa.

"Not good." Noah said, horror on his face as he was separated from his weapon, which was the crossbow.

But his fears would be alleviated when Sucy, thanks to the help of the King Taijitu that she was still on, would devou the heads of the Grimm. Or in the case of the Beringel, Sucy beheaded it after leaping off the snake.

"Well, looks like I came just in time." Sucy said.

"Is Kurita okay?" Emma asked as she went to pick up her bow and arrow.

"Yeah." Noah said before turning to Kurita to help him up. "I think you're better off just sitting this one out. You're doing more harm than good."

Kurita was disheartened to hear this. But he didn't exactly have room to argue.

Noah and Emma looked at the purple snake, which seemed to have looked like the rest of the Grimm, minus the purple body.

"Isn't that- you know what? I don't even want to know." Noah said.

"You do have that under control, right?" Emma asked.

"Yep. But once it wears off, I'll just get rid of it. More points for us." Sucy said.

***Confessional***

Emma(Radical Rats):

"Wow. I know these are Grimm and we don't exactly have any reason to feel bad for them, but she said that so casually. Sucy probably fits the bill of your stereotypical witch out of those four honestly. I'm just glad she's not actually evil. At least, I hope not."

***End Confessional***

Din was faring just as well as Sebastian. While he was no slouch when it came to strength, he didn't have the seemingly superhuman strength that the butler did. But what he did have was weapons. And he used them to his advantage, taking out many of the Grimm he encountered from long range without alerting them of his presence after landing on the ground.

He eventually came across a temple below him on lower ground. Detaching the scope from his sniper, he used it to get a better view of the temple and saw objects on several pillars.

"Blake." Din said, trying to contact her.

"Yeah? You don't need any help do you? A little busy." Blake said as she was dealing with more Grimm with Mayuzumi and Octavia.

"No. Just a question. There's a temple with several objects on pillars. Do you think those are the artifacts?"

"Yes! If that's what it is I think you found them!" Blake said before clearing her throat and calming down as Octavia and Mayuzumi gave her a questioning look after they took out a Beringel. "One should be all you need."

"Got it." Din said before preparing to advance. But a certain cat had already beat him to it. Din grabbed one of the golden rook pieces in hand while Puss already had a black pawn. But both would be immediately shot out of their hands. By none other than Blaineley from a distance, along with shooting all of the others using the pistol mode before she blew off the smoke.

"Such a shame too. Guess you'll have to earn points the old-fashioned way." Blaineley said before shrugging and running off.

***Confessional***

Blaineley(Wave Breakers):

"My plan was simple. If I couldn't take all of the artifacts, the no one was. Watch out Myron, Hanamiya and Reagan! You're not the only genius on this team!"

***End Confessional***

"Great." Din thought before getting on the comms to contact the others.

Puss also did the same.

"Artifacts are out of the question now." Din said.

"What? How?" Courtney asked in disbelief as she had just found a cave and walked inside it to explore it.

"Blaineley destroyed them. All of them."

"Why that no good cheater! I got something for-" She suddenly heard some moving and a large snake hissing as it slowly advanced on a still unconscious Furuya before it slowly turned its head and looked at her. She quickly ran away, yelling in horror, which caused her to fall and run right into Yulaw, which only knocked him down. But Courtney was knocked unconscious.

"Courtney? Courtney!" Din repeated but got no response as Yulaw got up and looked down at her before crushing the binocum and destroying her weapon before walking off and picking up speed to start running.

It didn't take him long for him to find the snake that Courtney was running from, along with a now awake Furuya, thanks to Courtney's loud yelling, trying to fend off the Taijitu.

"Hey!" Yulaw called out, which made the snake turn towards him. Yulaw tried to shoot at it but it slithered around the shots and caught Yulaw off guard with how fast it slithered around them and around him. Yulaw had an annoyed look on his face before he grabbed the snake's head the second it presented itself to him and ripped off one of its fanged teeth before jamming it in the inside of its mouth. He then forcibly opened up the mouth wider than it could take, causing the snake to make a painful noise. He then used the other fang to stab at it multiple times.

After it fell to the ground, he looked at Furuya before saying, 'you're welcome' and then beginning to speed off, leaving a confused Furuya.

Meanwhile, Sebastian was on his way to attempt to deal with Blaineley himself.

"With the artifacts destroyed, what do you suppose we do now?" Octavia asked.

"Just do what we've been doing before. Keep taking out the Grimm." Blake said.

"Blake's right. It's the only thing we really can do. Sebastian, do you think yo can help Courtney if you find her?" Din asked as he was already on the way to help out his teammates.

"Of course. I will do so right away." Sebastian said.

It didn't take long for everyone to see and hear a large bird flying overhead everyone.

"That doesn't look good." Sucy commented as Noah, Emma and the still Sucy-controlled Taijitu continued to clear out the Grimm in the area.

"You mean the fact that Courtney was heard yelling wasn't a red flag?" Noah asked.

"A little I guess."

"I assume you all have seen the giant bird overhead?" Puss asked as he continued to traverse the forest.

"Not really that hard to miss." Yulaw said, slowing his pace down to a jog as he thought he had heard someone fighting in the distance as he shot at two Beowolves that tried to attack him.

"So I hear that most of you have taken a notice of the giant bird flying overhead. Good. Well, I was going to reveal this when time was running out, specifically about 30 minutes left, but with Blaineley destroying the artifacts, and you guys seemingly having like no issue at all with dealing with the ones there judging from the scores right now, I decided to bring it out now. There's a Nevermore flying overhead. The team that kills it get a whopping 1500 points added. And just for reference, the Kings are eking out a slight lead at 3000 points compared to the other two teams', thanks to Kunigami and Blaineley scoring just seconds ago, are tied at 2800 a piece." Chris announced.

"Wait, how can all of us hear this?" Dwayne asked.

"Wait she what? Why would you do that?" Kunigami said to Blaineley in disbelief.

"Because that takes points off the board of course to stop a comeback. And now all we have to do is continue what we've been doing before." Blaineley said as she punched a Grimm, making her way back to her teammates.

"And now with the Nevermore it still could happen. Dumba[censored]." Kunigami said.

"Well how was I supposed to know? And besides, that still doesn't guarantee a win."

"Just like getting the artifiacts didn't get guarantee a win you moron!"

"Look guys it doesn't matter. Just focus back on the challenge. Blaineley, at the very least, could you see if you can find Furuya and Bakura? They haven't been answering their comms."

"Absolutely!" Blaineley said. Now that her plan was out of the way, she could care less about what she's asked to do now.

Also, did you hack our stuff?" Reagan asked Chris suspiciously.

"Wouldn't call it hacking, more like linking." Chris said.

"Still did it without our consent." Bennett said.

"You guys are complaining like this isn't the only way you'll be able to even have an idea of what's going on. Didn't think about that now did you?"

"And you're acting like you can't just put what we're supposed to be hearing on the screen for us to see like you've done before." Old Bennett said.

"Can't. We're doing this the way the school's always done it before. This was literally the best I could do."

"He's right. If the Headmaster and Headmistress were here, they'd tell you themselves, but they're not. Not sure where they went actually." Chef said.

"Huh. No wonder Aomine's no longer in a daze." Lucy joked.

"Hey, there's plenty more to go around." Aomine replied, looking at Lucy, specifically her chest.

"You mean beatings right?" Yang asked.

"Maybe this is a good time for you to stop talking." Weiss suggested to Aomine.

"My reaction to you and some of the others going off on things no on asked you to explain." Todd said.

"Just like no one asked for your opinion half the time." Miyuki remarked.

"Or yours."

"True. Very true." He said before laughing a little.

Focusing things back on the challenge, Yulaw had found the source of the fighting he thought he head from earlier. That source being Bakura, who was letting numerous monsters from his deck run amok, unleashing them on the Grimm. He immediately tried to knock the duelist out, but it wasn't something that he was just going to let happen. The Headless Knight was the first to try and attack Yulaw, forcing the martial artist to have to get some distance.

"Knocking me out? Is that even a part of the rules?"

"Is there anything saying it isn't? I'm sure that's the logic Blaineley used."

"Maybe, but it's not a gamble I can say I wholly agree with."

"But it's one your team will pay for." Yulaw said before the two began to attack each other.

Meanwhile, Puss had caught up with the rest of his team, with the exception of Yulaw.

"Great. Now that we're all here, we can go after the nevermore." Emma said.

"Everyone but Yulaw, actually." Noah corrected.

"Yeah, you're right about that." She said before she tried to reach him. "Yulaw, you okay? We're about to go after the Nevermore."

He was still battling against the slew of monsters that Bakura sent at him. "You guys go on ahead. I'll catch up. A little busy at the moment."

"Are you sure? I could-" Kurita offered before Yulaw cut him off.

"I'm fine! Just in a bit of a battle with Bakura!" He said before throwing off Man-Eater Bug. "Go!"

"Bakura? That's odd. Why in the world would they be fighting each other?" Emma said aloud. "Blaineley makes more sense."

"While I am confident that he is more than capable of handling himself, I do not feel comfortable in leaving a teammate in the hands of 'what-ifs'. Which is why I am asking Kurita to go and help him." Puss said.

"Kurita? But what-" Noah started before Emma raised a hand to cut him off.

"Good luck. Show Bakura the strength that made Sly howl in pain in the Fry Cook Games."

Kurita, a determined look on his face to help out a teammate nodded. "Right!" He said before running off as fast as he could. He was nowhere near the runner that any of his fellow Devil Bats were, especially Sena, who was basically his opposite for strengths and weaknesses, but he was still going to try his best to find him as fast as he could.

But they weren't the only ones that had that plan in mind. The other two teams were also planning the same thing.

"No point in wasting time with these regular Grimm anymore if the Nevermore's in play. Follow me." Blake said to the other two with her along with Din, who had now found them.

"And Sebastian and Courtney?" Mayuzumi asked.

"Once Sebastian finds Courtney, they'll catch up. But we can't afford to let this opportunity get away from us." Din said.

"This isn't looking good at all. We're down to half our members. If Chris added that in it's probably tougher than the rest of the Grimm." Ruby G. said as they continued to run to try and follow the Nevermore.

"Would you shut the hell up with your whining already!?" Kunigami yelled out. "I'm not going to just let them get those points, regardless of what Blaineley and the others have done!"

"Look, no need to get hostile. Besides, I'm still on its trail anyway. And if the going does get tough." Dwayne pulls out the chi orb he had with him in a small bag. "We can always use one of these bad boys." He added before he laughed confidently.

"Oh, the Chi! That's genius! By the way, how many of those Chi orbs do we have? I forgot to count." Ruby G. asked.

"We had a sack full of 'em. I'd have to ask Myron about that one since he was the one entrusted to hold on to them."

***Confessional***

Dwayne(Wave Breakers):

"To be honest, after the hammerin' we put on the Grimm so far, wasn't sure I needed to bring it anymore. And now, I'm glad I did. This is why you stay ready for anything."

***End Confessional***

As the teams made their way to the temple where the Nevermore was headed, the stragglers, Yulaw and Bakura were still battling.

"There's too many monsters I can use against you. It's best you cut your losses before you get hurt." "Bakura" warned.

"I appreciate the offer, but save that pity for someone else." Yulaw said before jumping over the slice of Goblin Zombie's sword and then pointing his gun backwards and shooting it perfectly in the head numerous times and used the Earl of Demise's own sword against itself, impaling him in the chest. But his advance would be stopped by Blaineley, who knocked him to the ground with a punch to the face. She immediately tried to finish him off but Yulaw held on to the fist that the glove was in and tried to hold it back. Though admittedly, it was a lot tougher than he thought it was going to be.

"Hello? Are you going to just stand there or are you going to help return the favor?" Blaineley said to Bakura.

"Oh. R-right. Sorry." "Bakura" said before pulling out another card. "I summon the Gross Ghost of Fled Dreams!" This floating fiend monster that was green bones, with a sword, a shield, and seemingly light purple "hair" on the top of its head appeared next to him. "Now, attack Yulaw!"

Now he had to use both of his hands to stop both the glove and the sword.

"Very sorry about this Yulaw." "Bakura" said.

"I'm not!" Blaineley said before laughing. Though she would be stopped along with all of the others as yelling was heard over all of them. They all looked up and saw a large black figure above them getting closer. Yulaw used this as the distraction he needed to perform a breakdance-like sweep on Blaineley and shooting the monster Bakura had summoned before rolling out of the way just in time to avoid being flattened by who was revealed to have been Kurita.

"Not again!" Blaineley said, muffled under him.

Kurita opened his eyes and saw a confused Yulaw before he just shook his head and thanked him.

"But I didn't-" Kurita started before he was pushed off by Blaineley again.

"That is it! One time was enough!" Blaineley said, enraged from being flattened twice before she started to angrily shoot at both Yulaw and Kurita. Before Yulaw could use his incredible speed to get to Blaineley, he was hit in the head by a missile of a thrown from Furuya, who was also in the area, from a distance. The object in question being a rock at Yulaw's head. At the very least, the rock, at the speed at which Furuya threw it because of his incredible arm strength, should have been enough to at the very least, make his head hurt for a while, if not worse. But that wasn't the case. It stung a bit. But that only pissed off the martial artist even more.

Ding Ding

And hearing that only made it worse for Yulaw and Blaineley, with the latter feeling like she was about to rip her hair off after hearing it.

"You're really asking us to sing when we have to deal with a Nevermore? How bad could your timing be?" Noah asked as he, Puss, Emma and Sucy were now face-to-face with the Nevermore in the temple along with Din, Blake, Octavia, Mayuzumi and soon to be Sebastian as he had given the now unconscious Courtney to an unexpected guest: Doyle. Kunigami, Dwayne and Ruby G. were also at the temple."

"Don't care. I need at least four of you from each team to sing though. Don't care who. Or your team doesn't get the Nevermore points." Chris said to all of those he could reach.

Noah sighed. "Fine."

"Nevermore or not, I have just the thing that'll take care of it." Sucy said.

"Okay. We will buy you the time you need." Puss said.

"Half of our team can't even hear that warning. How is that fair?" Ruby G. asked Chris.

"Sounds like a personal problem. Better figure something out." Chris said.

"FURUYA! BAKURA! MUSICAL! SING!" Blaineley yelled out, more as a command than asking as she continued to try to battle against Yulaw.

"This is where I take my leave. Enjoy your musical!" Yami Bakura said internally before laughing and switching control back to his host to his confusion.

"Just start the song already." Blake said as the Nevermore was perched on a cliff and looked at all of the hopefuls looking to take it out.

Mayuzumi: Surprise when they find out that a warrior will soon run wild. (With everyone's attention being on the bird, he shoots Sucy off the Beowolf she had controlled before defeating the Grimm)

Dwayne: Prepare for your greatest moments; (Prepares to infuse the sword he had with Chi but was denied by Mayuzumi)
Ruby G.: Prepare for your finest hour. (Seeing this, she went to get the Chi orb back before it was lost or stolen)
Puss: The dream that you've always dreamed is suddenly about to flower. (He runs up a wall to get to the Nevermore before he sees Din flying near him)

Emma and Noah: We are lightning, (Both take turns in trying to distract the Nevermore)
Noah: Straying from the thunder,
Emma: Miracles of ancient wonder.

Blaineley: This will be the day we've waited for. (She continues to relentlessly attack Yulaw, using several of the glove's modes to do so)
Bakura: This will be the day we open up the door. (Although still confused, he tried his best to help out the others with his weapons)
Yulaw: I don't wanna hear your absolution; (Using his speed and strength, he was able to fend off all three of his opponents on his own)
Furuya: Hope you're ready for a revolution. (Though he wasn't a fighter by any means, he still tried to manage, but was failing so far, to attack Yulaw)
Kurita: Welcome to a world of new solutions. (Kurita tried to attack Blaineley but was discarded by her rather easily)
Blaineley: Welcome to a world of bloody evolution.
Yulaw: In time, your heart will open minds,
Furuya: A story will be told,
Yulaw and Blaineley: And victory is in a simple soul. (Punches from the two were seen colliding but the outcome was unknown)

*Short Instrumental Period Plays*

Din fired at the Nevermore, but it looked as if the hits weren't putting a dent in the Grimm. It countered back by sending deadly feathers at all of them, forcing them all to have to dodge or block.

"The only way we'll be able to take it out is if we work together. Trying to go solo isn't going to cut it." Blake said to the others.

"Then I will fend off the others." Sebastian said, joining in.

"Okay. Din has the best firepower out of all of us. Everyone else, distract it and create an opening for him."

Sebastian: Your world needs a great defender. (Sebastian interferes with the other teams' attacks by attacking them)
Puss: Your world's in the way of harm. (Puss attacks Sebastian back with his sword and a couple more explosives)
Ruby G.: You want a romantic life; a fairytale that's full of charm. (She stops Mayuzumi from shooting Kunigami, who got high enough to punch the Grimm)

Yulaw: Beware that the light is fading; (Yulaw was still fending off the three, but Kurita was proving to be more of a burden than help as he continued to get in the way)
Bakura: Beware if the dark returns. (Bakura instinctively fired at Kurita who was blindly running at him, but it proved to be useless and he was trucked over)
Furuya: This world's unforgiving, even brilliant lights will cease to burn. (Furuya tried to attack Yulaw while distracted but he was kicked away by him)

Blake: Legends scatter. (She grapples onto one of the tall pillars to vault herself upwards before shooting the Nevermore in the eyes)
Sucy: Day and night will sever. (She pours large a amount of nutrient potion liquid into the ground to grow a beanstalk for her to climb to the Nevermore)
Octavia: Hope and peace are lost forever. (Octavia, using her own magic, goes to where the beanstalk was and lit a fire to burn it down)

*Longer Instrumental Period Plays*

Yulaw was starting to aggravated from the mixture of Blaineley's persistence to Kurita's constant interference.

"Who's team are you on!?" Yulaw yelled out to Kurita as he got in the way of one of his shots as he tried to stop a counter from Blaineley but missed and knocked Yulaw down instead. He pushed Kurita off in frustration.

"Sorry!"

"I don't care about your damn apologies! Just get the hell out of here and out of my way!" Yulaw snapped before taking his anger out on Bakura and Blaineley with the former not exactly having much in his toolkit to be able to stop him. Although he was about to get up from the ground after being thrown, refusing to quit, Yami Bakura stopped him and forcibly took over to feign unconsciousness.

"Sorry, but I won't let you do that. I can't exactly use a host with broken bones." Yami Bakura said internally.

Yulaw snapping at him caused Kurita to do exactly what Yulaw said, leave.

As for the others, even with the firepower they threw at the Nevermore, it still wasn't enough to bring it down, but the infighting between the two teams only made it even more difficult.

"This is growing rather tiresome." Sebastian said to Puss as the cat continued to use his size to keep away from the butler's attempts to try to catch or hit him.

"Tired? Perhaps you are not as good of a butler as you say you are." Puss said.

Dwayne and Kunigami, despite their strong attacks, even with the Chi-enhanced sword, they still weren't enough to knock the bird out. But it was enough for Din to get a critical hit on it.

"Everyone! This is it! Attack it now!" Blake called out to her teammates.

"This isn't enough. We need more! Blaineley! Can you give us a hand?" Ruby G. asked. But no answer was given back. "Blaineley!"

"At this rate, we're going to lose!" Emma said, unable to get a clear shot on Din.

"Well, guess this is-" Sucy started before pulling out a sleeping potion that was suddenly stolen by Mayuzumi.

"I don't think so." Mayuzumi said before throwing the potion far away.

"Uh oh. That was my trump card."

"MAN-PIG! The others need your help!" Hiruma called out.

"But-" Kurita started.

"I DON'T CARE! Your teammates are getting slaughtered because they don't have one big fata[censored] lump of strength to protect them! Don't you remember what that f[censored]ing teacher said? Are you going to rip that f[censored]ing Edgar bird's wings off, or are you just going to lie down and let your teammates die!?"

Kurita then remembered exactly what Hiruma meant, with him adding in a sound of Emma and Noah yelling from a past episode just to try and embellish it a little more.

The thought of his teammates dying at his hands was not something that Kurita wanted to see happen, especially after what he promised before the Chima challenge. So he began running as fast as he could, a fire seemingly ignited within him.

(All, except for Kunigami, Bakura and Blaineley)

(Everyone in the area began to attack the Nevermore/each other once more to bring the beast down)

This will be the day we've waited for.
This will be the day we open up the door.
I don't wanna hear your absolution;
Hope you're ready for a revolution.

(Yulaw catches up and gets a clean shot on Din with one of his personal pistols, knocking him out of the air before Din could land the killing blow)

Welcome to a world of new solutions. (Kurita, exhausted, catches up to the others and gestures for Yulaw to throw him, which he didn't mind at all)
Welcome to a world of bloody evolution. (Yulaw attacks Sebastian, with the butler attacking him back, providing a distraction for the other Rats)
In time, your heart will open minds, (Sucy notices this and pulls out one more potion that was about to get swiped by Mayuzumi again but Puss got to it first)

A story will be told, (Sucy throws Puss up as far as she could before Puss throws it at Kurita, knowing he wasn't high enough to reach him. The other teams try to stop it but were shot by Noah and Emma)
and victory is in a simple soul. (Kurita, using all the strength he had, yelling as he did, tries to open the bird with one hand but was struggling to do so)

*Song Ends*

Kurita looks at his other teammates below him before Puss' and Hiruma's words replayed in his head again. He the cap off before putting the bottle in his mouth abd he pushed even harder, being careful to not spill the contents too early.

Kurita's yell was muffled by the bottle in his mouth before pushing open the Nevermore and leaned his head just enough to let the liquid fall into the bird's mouth.

A few seconds later, the bird looked as if it was imploding or turn inside out before it was reduced into nothing more than a pool of goo with its bones being seen, to the disgust of everyone there.

"That is so disgusting." Octavia said.

"Yeah, I think I'm done for the day." Blake said with Emma and Noah trying to avoid throwing up on the spot.

"Well, today's your lucky day. Show's over guys." Doyle said, flying over.

"Glad to hear, because that's the end of the challenge. Well, at least in about 10 minutes anyway. But, with everyone having those reactions I don't think you guys are in a condition to fight so we'll end it there." Chris said. "Everyone come on back."

Everyone returns to the academy, with those out of the 18 that wreren't involved in the battle already being brought back by Doyle.

"Excellent work everyone. You have put your skills on display, and it allowed you to survive the day." Ozpin said.

"Even those that may not be considered fighters or lack abilities were able to put up valiant efforts despite these handicaps. A very valiant effort." Glynda added.

"Valiant effort or not, only one team can win this. And that team is..." Chris started.

The scores were tallied.

"The Rats!"

Several people on the Rats cheered after hearing this announcement.

"And it's all thanks to this guy right here." Emma said to Kurita.

"I knew you could do it." Puss said to Kurita.

"Same here. Going to give credit where credit is due. And I definitely admit I was wron-" Noah started before Kurita, unleahing two fountains of tears from his eyes, put all of them in an embrace.

"Okay. It's official. I miss Owen's hugs now." Noah said, trying to get out but unable to because of Kurita's strength.

"I appreciate the love... but... please. Let go. Please?" Puss said, losing breath.

Hiruma loaded a gun before spraying him with a strong stream of water.

"HEY! LET EM GO BEFORE YOU KILL THEM FATA[CENSORED]!" Hiruma yelled out.

"Second place goes to the Kings for taking out more Grimm than the Breakers. Which was actually only by a margin of 200 points." Chef said.

"You think those artifacts would have made a difference now?" Dan asked Blainely, who was still wearing the glove, though it was slightly bent.

"Shut up! This isn't all on me!"

"Uh Blaineley, the challenge is over. You can take off the glove now." Hailey said.

"Actually, I'd rather not. Compliments my outfit too much."

"Well if you like it that much, you can use it after I make repairs on it. Guess I still need to make it tougher." Reagan said.

"What material are you using for it?" Hailey asked.

"A material that's not strong enough. Doesn't really matter what it is if it's still not tough enough to last through a combat intensive challenge after one use. Mind you this is the second time this has happened. And this is probably worse than the damage Kuroko did to it with his Ignite Pass." She went to take the glove off Blaineley.

"I said no!" Blaineley said, taking her hand away.

"Blaineley, if I could fix the glove on your arm I would. But I can't. So please take it off."

"Just make another one!"

"You do realize that thing's useless if it's damaged right?" Mr. Wolf asked.

"Useless? Seems fine to me."

"I think I trust the word of the person that made it more than the person that was concerned about how it clashes with her outfit. Now stop wasting everyone's time and take it off."

"Hold up! I got this." Johnny said before zipping over to Blaineley. "Now listen here sweet cheeks, I know ya like how it looks on ya. And I do too. But, ya gotta let it go. And if you do that, I can take ya to a nice restaurant. I'll pay. What do ya like?" Distracted, Zak uses his Fang to pull away the glove.

"What was that for? I almost-" Johnny saw the part of her arm that the glove was covering. And it was dislocated. The fingers were bent as well. "Sweet mother of-"

"So that's what you were hiding." Heather said.

"It's fine! All I have to do is just put everything back in place like so." Blaineley insisted before trying to use her other hand to readjust her fingers and her arm, but failed to convince anyone on her team that she could do that.

"That doesn't look fine to me." Scott said.

"That's because it's not." Kageyama said. "You're gonna have to get that looked at."

"No! I told you I'm fine!" Blaineley said.

"You can say what you want. Everyone can clearly see that you're injured." Karin said.

"And I'm sure you know what that means." Chris said, grinning, knowing exactly what could possibly happen.

"No! I am not leaving! I'm fine enough to play in this condition! Not every challenge needs both arms! I can just get it checked when we go back home!" Blaineley snapped.

"It's not like it's a fatal injury like what happened to Cameron in All-Stars. So if she says she can still go, I'd say give her a chance." Chef said with Chris giving him a look. "What?"

"It's not like he's wrong." Doyle said.

"I know that." Chris said, trying to avoid talking to his teeth and showing even further how annoyed he was. "But fair enough. Since Blaineley says she's good enough to keep going, and she does bring up the point of being able to go to a doctor to get it checked after the challenge, we'll keep things as they were with the traditional elimination. So let's get ready to head on back."

"Rats, you get the prize of guaranteed better food challenge after next." Chris said.

"Challenge after next? Why not the next one?" Emma asked.

"Because I said so. Now go home!"

Meanwhile, Aomine and Weiss' argument about 'good TV' was coming to an end.

"Yeah, because 'Bluey' is so much better than Godzilla." Aomine said sarcastically.

"I thought you promised to give it a chance." Weiss said.

"I am. Still doesn't mean I don't have a right to make a prediction."

"Just send me one of your 'Godzilla' movies and I'll watch it and give it a fair shot."

"You don't even have that in your world, so the heck are you supposed to watch it genius?"

"I don't know. That's for you to figure out."

"And get into trouble for copying movies? Look, we'll just have to watch it together or somethin' the next time we're here early. 'Cause I sure as hell don't trust you with my phone."

"Then you know it's bad if the 'irresponsible guy' doesn't trust you. And let's not act like I haven't been following your training."

"You call those videos 'training'?" Weiss said, trying to refrain from laughing.

"Yeah yeah very funny miss intellectual jokester."

"Ha! So you admit it!"

Their exchange with Aomine's triumphant grin knowing that he was messing with her again made Jaune raise an eyebrow while Beta could only shake his head.

"Why are you shaking your head?" Scott asked.

"Nothing for you to be concerned about. Not like you'd get it anyway. Which is sad actually."

"Get what?"

"Nothing Scott. Nothing."

"Aomine! Go home!" Chris said.

"Wait, hold on a sec. Just give me a minute." Aomine said.

"No! Go home!"

"Dude, as insane as some of the stuff you've asked us to do, I haven't been as close to being as annoying as some of the other guys here, complaining, guns, destroying stuff, whatever. I don't even ask or beg you to change anything if we lose. Please."

"Come on Chris. He said please. I don't think I've heard that boy ever say please since he's been here." Chef said.

Chris really wanted to say no. But he knew that both of them had a point. Aomine has never asked about doing this any other time as far as he could remember. He sighed. "Okay. Fine. One minute." Chris said.

"Thanks." Aomine said.

"Don't mention it. Time's ticking." He added before he put on a stopwatch.

"Weiss."

"Yes?"

"Didn't get a chance to do it on the last news episode since you weren't here but, I wanted to say sorry for what happened in that last challenge. Same to the others too. Especially you Huey for what I said yesterday. And to Heather for callin' her a... you know what. Pretty sure Alejandro wanted to kick my a[censored] for sayin' that, and I don't blame him. As for your training Weiss, much as I kid around about it, it helps out a lot. Might sound like a broken record or I don't mean it, but I do. Thank you."

"You're very welcome Aomine." She said before giving him a few taps on the shoulder. "And also, apology accepted."

"You didn't have to apologize. We all knew that wasn't you." Dewey said.

"But, we appreciate it regardless." Huey said.

"Thanks. Next step is for me to play better. No excuses, no trash talk to Kagami, at least in the beginning, no BS. I owe it to all of you guys, especially you miss CIT and Heather. Don't wanna hear your yellin'."

"That remains to be seen, but okay. And also you may be days late, but I appreciate the gesture." Heather said.

"So do I." Alejandro said before extending a hand for him to shake, which he did.

"See, at least someone recognizes my CIT title." Courtney said.

"You just had to ruin it didn't you." Isagi said in a deadpan voice.

"What? It was a joke."

"I don't think you and Weiss know the definition of a joke." Rex said.

"Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it's not a joke!" Courtney and Weiss said simultaneously.

"You two couldn't sound more butthurt if you tried." Todd remarked.

"Psst, hey," Kise said, getting his attention. "if you're being held hostage, give me a sign." Kise whispered, with Jaune.

"What the- GET YOUR EAVESDROPPING A[CENSORED] OUT OF HERE!" Aomine shouted, pointing to the portal. "And what the hell is that supposed to mean?"

"Good, because your time's up. Now go home. Now." Chris said. "Anybody else that's a straggler, go home now! If you're still here after ten seconds I'm booting you from the show. I'm serious."

"Aren't you guys supposed to be gone too?" Scott asked.

Bringing things back to the island, the Breakers were preparing for an elimination.

"Alright, gonna make a confession. I'm not the first person to do this challenge. Another season did this too. If you know, you know. But if you didn't, spoiler alert incoming. Don't wanna hear it? Cover your ears or change the channel for a bit." Chris said.

"Okay time's up. They actually didn't have an elimination. Because of one of the interns blew up a stink bomb in the elimination room so the team that lost got away with one. Not you guys though. Not only are these two not immature enough to do something like that, but we're outside, so it doesn't matter.

"Uh, thanks. I guess." Doyle said.

"Meh, if I wanted to mess with you guys, I could do that in-challenge. Plenty of opportunities to do that." Heloise said.

"Anyways, go vote. I'll be waiting back here." Chris said.

"What?" Shiro said, blinking a few times, genuine confusion on his face. "I didn't even do anything."

"Uh... looks like Johnny voted for you." Chef said, looking at the results.

"Let me guess, it was an accident again?" Heloise asked.

"D'aw man!" Johnny said, facepalming. "Sorry about that."

"Regardless, you're safe Shiro. Want a Chibi RWBY plush or Nora and Ren cookies?" Chris asked, holding up both.

"Uh, cookies?" Shiro said. He catches the pack.

"Blaineley, Kunigami, this is it! The final person cookie pack or plus goes to..."

"There's no need for one. The only difference that would have been made is Johnny because that was an accident on his part."

"You're injured. And you took away the chance for us to stave off elimination. What did you think was going to happen?" Fiona said.

"I have to admit, that wasn't smar-" Myron said before Blaineley tried and actually succeeded at taking the sack of Chi. But before she could run off with it and the weapons, she was immediately stopped by Jenny who tackled her to the ground with Bass freezing her the second Jenny picked her up.

"You didn't have to freeze her." Jenny said.

"She was going to use that against us. Better to be safe than sorry." Bass said.

"Chef, Doyle, thaw he out and send her home." Chris said. "Rest of you are safe, for now."

"Well, back to the drawing board." Reagan said before going in her portal to go home along with everyone else.

"Noelle." Fiona started, causing said person to turn just as she was about to walk in.

"What is it?" Noelle asked.

"If you don't mind, before the next challenge starts, I'd like to talk to you before the next challenge."

"Why not now?"

"Because you guys need to go home so I can end the episode." Chris said. "Now go home! Fiona's got the right idea!"

"Fair enough."

"And with that, Blaineley is officially gone! Finally! Who will be gone next? What challenge do I have planned for next time? Find out on Total... Drama... Across the Multiverse!"

A/N: And with that Blaineley is gone. She's lucky to have just an injury like that as it could have been much worse had Yulaw not shown some restraint as it was him that caused the injury, bending the glove as well.

Next up, we return back to Bikini Bottom for another challenge, this one taking place in the Krusty Krab! It's one thing to eat disgusting foods, but can you constantly eat good foods until you can't eat anymore? We'll see if these contestants can do just that!
