No Brakes

AN: I'll be honest with you. This chapter didn't become as long as I thought it would've. Thankfully.

Ruby got smacked to the ground by Torchwick who was a little more satisfied than a decent person should be. But of course, Torchwick is about the farthest thing from decent.

"You know, you're much more manageable now without that oversized gardening tool of yours or, god forbid, red senior," Torchwick said smugly as Ruby was glaring defiantly. Then Torchwick turned to the two Fangs that brought Ruby. "You know what, Perry? I think I did need this," Torchwick joked as the Fang called Perry gave him a thumbs-up. Then the Criminal turned his attention back to Ruby. "But seriously, how did you find this place, Red?" Torchwick asked in a friendly tone, which was betrayed when he pointed the tip of his cane into the underside of Ruby's chin.

Ruby grumbled at the criminal, before vanishing in a flurry of rose petals.

"Huh? Whuh?" Torchwick looked around frantically, before turning around to see Ruby running away. Sighing at the escape, the sociopathic criminal pointed the handle end of his cane towards Ruby. And then the handle was launched off of the cane with a wire attached to it. The handle managed to hook into Ruby's hood, effectively halting her run with a yelp. And then, as Ruby felt her back ache momentarily from the hit, Torchwick reeled her in like a fish. "I see you got some tricks up your sleeve," Torchwick mock complimented, before taking a more menacing expression, "But let me make just one thing clear to you." Torchwick waited until Ruby was at his feet again before delivering the rest of his words, "We're not through here just yet."

Then a small explosion was heard some ways away. Torchwick turned towards the White Fang cronies with a mildly annoyed expression, "Perry, could you and the boys check that. I'm kinda in the middle of something."

Perry rolled his eyes behind his mask before moving with two others to do just that. Until another explosion was heard.

"WHAT is going on in here!?" Roman was getting annoyed as he once again looked to the direction the explosion came from. From between two of the ruined buildings, several White Fang members were running away from something while one of them turned and opened fire at whatever was approaching. Before a large fireball hit the said goon, causing others to run all the harder.

"DON'T F**KING RUN AWAY FROM ME!" Was then heard loud and clear, despite the distance. "I'LL END YOU!" Followed by more fireballs, these ones barely missing their targets. Torchwick took a few steps forward past Ruby before squinting his eyes to see better what was happening.

And then he saw them. Ruby's friends along with Oobleck, Zwei and their Blades. With Dragunov at the front, dragon scale patterned cracks glowing with heat from whatever angered him.

Torchwick growled at the very unwelcome sight, which was soon blocked when Ruby jumped on his shoulders and pushed his hat over his eyes before taking off once again. Though the momentary blindness was too easily fixed by lifting the abused hat. But Torchwick still wasn't happy about what he was seeing. "Somebody kill her!" Roman shouted as he pointed his cane at Ruby, a targeting reticle opening above the tip before he fired alongside many of the White Fangs. Some of them had Ether Cannons, courtesy of their Blades

However, Ruby was zig-zagging on her path to make herself less of a target. And towards the welcome sight of Roze using Crescent Rose to snipe the shooters with not only deadly precision, but with as much speed as a sniper rifle could fire. More importantly he was doing it without the scope.

"Ruby! I'm so glad you're okay!" Yang exclaimed as she picked up Ruby into a bone crushing hug.

"Are you hurt," Weiss then asked in concern, "I mean, more than Yang is doing right now."

Before Yang could retort, Ruby broke off from the hug before frantically explaining, "I'm fine! But listen, Torchwick's got all sorts of weapons and mechs and even Blades loaded up on that train and I think they're planning to move soon."

"That's preposterous," Oobleck exclaimed, "This place is cut off from the rest of the city, these tracks lead nowhere."

But then they heard a speaker going on.

"Get to your places, we are leaving now." Torchwick announced as they saw the train already taking off, some of the Fangs still scrambling to get on.

"Well, they're clearly going somewhere," Dahlia pointed out.

"I'll call back up," Ruby quickly said, picking up her scroll and calling Jaune. She was lucky that neither the Fang grunts nor Torchwick confiscated it. Not that it meant anything because the call didn't connect. "Urgh! It's no use," Ruby complained, pocketing her scroll.

"So, what do we do now, doctor?" Blake then asked.

"I believe there's only one option for us," Oobleck said seriously.

"We're stopping that train," Ruby said, preparing Crescent Rose after getting it back from Roze.

"Good," Dragunov said, still burning with rage. "Because I will reduce those guys to ashes, when I get my hands on them!" With that, Dragunov ran after the train that was slowly, but surely gaining speed.

"Uhh... sis," Ruby sounded out awkwardly as she and the rest of the gang started running too before the train became too fast, "What made Dragunov so angry?"

"He got blasted with a round of water dust," Yang replied, still wondering how getting hit by water made him that angry. Then again, fire and water are opposing elements, so maybe it's that.

"Oh." Was the last comment Ruby let out, before focusing on catching up to that train before it was too late.

On the train, one of the White Fang grunts was looking outside the last train car. Then his attention was grabbed by a sound at the back. Seeing movement at the very back, the grunt pulled out a radio. "I think they're on the-" Was as far as the grunt got before getting smacked by Oobleck's thermos/club.

Unfortunately, that didn't mean that the message wasn't received at the front. Because one Fang got to the control room, "Boss! The intruders are on the train!"

Torchwick growled in annoyance, "Then get some cargo and throw them off!" With that order, the grunt left Torchwick to his grievances. "Man, animals all of them," the criminal grumbled before turning to a grunt working the controls. "Not you though... You're great," He quickly corrected himself. Even though the faunus with tusks rolled his eyes under his mask.

Back with the gang, they had gotten to the roof, figuring that it was the least likely place the White Fang would come to.

"Hurry up children, we must get to the front of this train, "Oobleck said to the assembled students, dog, and Blades.

"Uhh…Professor," Weiss said, having opened the top hatch to check if any more Fangs were coming below.

"Doctor." Oobleck corrected sternly.

"What's that?" Weiss asked, pointing downwards towards a contraption with several wires and currently offline screen.

"That, my dear, appears to be a bomb," Oobleck stated, causing the huntresses to look apprehensive. Which was increased tenfold when the screen lit up and started blinking.

"And I believe it's active now," Adenine commented as if they weren't in a life-threatening situation.

"We gotta move, " Roze quickly said, wanting everyone, especially Ruby, far away from that thing.

With several quick nods, everyone began to move. Except Oobleck grabbed Blake's shoulder, "Blake, detach the caboose! It'll kill us all!"

"Nox is already on it," Dahlia called back, having seen the dark ninja dropping himself towards the said contraption. With that, Oobleck and Blake jumped to the next train car before the current one disconnected. Then Nox jumped back up.

"Good job, Nox," Blake complimented.

The said Blade opened his scroll to respond. And then he saw that wind was causing it to flap too erratically to be red. Rolling his lone eye, Nox grabbed the bottom of the fabric before holding it in place so it could be red. "I didn't do it. It decoupled on it's own."

"What!?" Oobleck exclaimed as he looked back to see the slowing down car exploding a safe distance away. "That's not good," Oobleck said having a very bad feeling about this.

"Neither is this," Ruby said, holding another hatch open.

"Another one?" Adenine said, sounding curious instead of afraid, worried or any other more appropriate mental state.

"Here's one too," Dragunov shouted from the next car, having stopped glowing with heat few seconds ago.

"Oh, no, no, no, no!" Oobleck rambled as he ran to the car after Dragunov before looking down. "They all have bombs!" Oobleck shouted, just before the now furthest car detached, which prompted Ruby, Yang, Blake and Nox to jump to the next one.

"We got incoming!" Roze shouted, pointing ahead of them.

Sure enough, White Fang were climbing up on the roof several train cars ahead and approaching them.

"I guess he really doesn't want us on this train," Yang commented, preparing Ember Celica.

"Does he really think a few measly grunts can stop us?" Dragunov also commented with a savage grin.

Nox rolled his eye before summoning his Dual Scythes, signaling that he was ready for action.

"Get the humans!" One Fang shouted as she pointed at the said evil creatures. Well, evil in her opinion.

The gang quickly charged the Fangs. Yang swiping one of them off his feet before punching him through a roof hatch with a wink. Blake zig-zaged between the grunts, hitting them with Gambol Shroud as she did. Weiss slid across the train car, leaving a trail of icicles that the Fangs were forced to avoid. Some of them falling off the train. The ones that didn't were given a gentle push by Dahlia's bitball. Roze did the same thing he did with Grimm during the day. Casually walking towards the Fangs, giving each of them a taste of his scythe as he did. Nox joined Blake in slipping between the Fangs and hitting them in the process. And when he reached the end of the cluster, the Fangs he hit collapsed. Ruby used Crescent Rose's gun to launch herself towards an incoming group and sent them flying.

As for Dragunov... "Out of my way!" The dragon roared as he back-handed two Fangs off the train. Then he kicked another off the train. Then he swiped three grunts off their feet with his tail, before grabbing one of them by the leg and used him to smack his comrades off the train, before throwing the used grunt at more of them.

As this was happening, Oobleck was looking at the detached car as it exploded. And then he saw it, Grimm. Lots of them, pouring down from the broken ceiling and the new side entrances.

"That looks like a problem," Adenine said, still sounding whimsical.

"Indeed, it does," Oobleck agreed before turning back to his students, "He's leading Grimm into the city!"

"What!?" Weiss exclaimed.

"It's the bombs," Oobleck shouted, "He's blowing up the tunnels to create openings for the Grimm!"

"That's insane!" Yang shouted, not understanding why anyone would do that.

Then Oobleck and Adenine ran towards them. "You three, get into the cars and get to the controls!" Oobleck shouted towards Yang, Weiss and Blake.

"What about us?" Ruby asked unsurely.

"We're going to stop this train!" Oobleck replied with his fists on his hips.

"Barty, Ruby already said that before," Adenine pointed out, causing her Driver to look embarrassed.

"Well, let's go," Blake said as she jumped down the hatch Yang had so graciously opened with a Fang. Nox joined his Driver.

"Dahlia." Weiss said, giving her Blade a meaningful look.

"I'm with you," The ice bunny replied with a smile. And with that, the two of them jumped down.

Yang also turned to her Blade. "Drag, can you look after Ruby?" Yang asked her Blade.

The draconic Blade raised an eyebrow at the request. "She's got Roze for that," Dragunov pointed out in exasperation, before taking a more serious expression, "But what about you?"

"I can handle myself," Yang said confidently, emphasizing her words by bumping her fists.

"If you say so," Dragunov shrugged, and with that Yang joined her team mates.

"Let's move, people," Ruby said enthusiastically as she started attacking another wave of grunts with Roze right behind her.

Oobleck, Adenine, Dragunov and even Zwei and Pochi joining them.

Inside the train, three Drivers and two Blades were making their way towards the front of the train.

Weiss had given Blake an ammo magazine filled with different kinds of dust. Hoping it would help her team mate. Blake accepted the magazine, immediately loading it into Gambol's handle.

"Guess this is what we trained for," Yang said as the two made their way.

"Yeah," Blake agreed simply as they entered another car. And there, that ice-cream haired girl that Torchwick called Neo was waiting with a cocky look.

"You guys go on ahead," Yang said as she glared at the girl who avoided Dragunov's attack, "This one's mine." Gaining nods from her allies, Yang launched a shot from Ember Celica, forcing Neo to put her parasol to block it. Which meant that Weiss and Blake alongside their Blades were able to move past Neo before she could even react. But that didn't seem to bother tiny girl, even as Yang walked towards her until they were face to face. Or in Neo's case, face to boobs, considering her height.

And then Yang attacked with a series of punches, which Neo evaded almost casually while never losing that cocky smile. Then she almost casually deflected Yang's next punch with her now closed parasol before smacking the blonde's face with it causing her to stagger. This only fueled Yang's anger more as she used faster punches, but Neo wasn't fazed as she still avoided them with ease much to the brawler's ire.

Meanwhile with Blake and Weiss. They had gotten a few cars ahead, before a White Fang lieutenant wielding a chainsaw sword appeared.

"You go on ahead," Weiss said as she drew Myrtenaster, while Dahlia prepared her bitball. Then the white-haired girl dashed towards the lieutenant with a stab which he blocked with impressive speed as Blake and Nox used that as an opening to move on. Then Weiss swiped the man's feet off of him, before giving a powerful thrust into his abdomen. However, the lieutenant was fine thanks to his aura.

"Finally, I get to kill a Schnee," the lieutenant chuckled evilly as he got back up.

"Dahlia, stay back," Weiss said sternly, earning a surprised look from the said Blade.

"Weiss? We can take him easily together," Dahlia argued back, not understanding why Weiss should face this thug alone.

"I know, but this is something I must do," Weiss replied back as she took a fighting stance.

"...Alright then," Dahlia accepted reluctantly. However, should Weiss look like she's in trouble, Dahlia will come in to assist, and the ice Blade won't take no for an answer.

With Blake and Nox, they had entered another train car, and had come face to face with Roman Torchwick. "You know kitty-cat," Torchwick said smugly, "We really need to stop meeting up like this. People are going to talk."

Angered by the criminal's words, Blake dashed at Torchwick. The criminal attempted to smack the Faunus, but using the Dust Weiss had granted her, Blake left behind a clone made of fire, which exploded upon being hit. Which sent Torchwick flying into wall.

The criminal got back up with a grumble. "Alright, then, let's even the playing field a little," Torchwick sneered as he glanced at a nearby box... and his eyes widened in alarm. "Whuh? Where did it go?" Torchwick frantically said as he was positive he had left a little something on top of the box which wasn't there anymore. Then a sharp whistle was heard, which earned the suited criminal's attention.

Nox was sitting casually on one of the crates that was put against a wall as he brought out a Core Crystal and waved it tauntingly. Seriously, did Torchwick think no one would snatch a Core Crystal that was just lying on top of a box like it was being offered?

"Hey! Give that back, thief," Torchwick yelled as he pointed his cane at Nox and fired. The dark Blade instantly moved out of the way as Blake went in for another strike.

"Pot meet kettle." Nox showed on his scroll smugly. Not that either Torchwick or Blake had time to stop and read it due to their figthing. The ninja Blade rolled his eyes at no one paying attention to him.

Seeing as Blake was once again on Torchwick. Getting frustrated, the criminal struck at Blake again. Except this time, Blake used a Shadow Clone infused with earth Dust. Which made Torchwick's cane get stuck in it. And with that, Blake knocked Roman Torchwick to the floor away from his precious weapon.

Before the man could even think about getting back up, Blake stepped on his chest and pointed the katana of Gambol into Roman's face. "Why are we even fighting," Torchwick asked almost consolingly. "I saw you at the rally, we're on the same side." The criminal continued, making Blake angrier.

Meanwhile up on the roofs, Ruby and the others had a new problem. The White Fang were bringing Atlesian Paladins against them. Seeing as those things are impervious to huntsmen weapons, Ruby and Oobleck had switched to Adenine's and Roze's weapons.

Oobleck and Ruby struck together at the same spot to make one Paladin stagger.

"Now, Dragunov!" Roze shouted, and with that, the draconic Blade punched the Paladin to the side with all his might. But just like last time, it wasn't enough to destroy it. Unfortunately for the grunt piloting the mech, that's not what Dragunov aimed for. The punch was strong enough to make the Paladin fall off the train, getting it off their backs. Sadly, there were still more, and more importantly, more Fangs were coming, and they have Blades. Greataxes, Megalances, Chroma Katanas, and a couple Ether Cannons.

"That's gonna be annoying," Pochi said as he summoned one of his Twin Rings into his mouth.

"We'll see about that," Dragunov said as he dashed towards the Fang Drivers. Blocking a strike from a Greataxe with one talon, before punching the enemy Driver off the train. And the fall must've killed the poor guy, because the Blade that had been supplying the power reverted into a Core Crystal. Though unlike the shining blue, it was black now, signaling that it can't be used for a while. Not that it would probably ever be, seeing as the Crystal clattered off the roof and onto the ground below. Next, Dragunov was facing a Chroma Katana wielding Fang, but the guys was soon hit by an ether shot from Ruby. Seeing as the guy reeled quite a lot, his Blade must have ice element. Which was all the time Dragunov needed to punch the guy. If the Fang Blade hadn't decided to put up a barrier to block the draconic Blade, that is. Sadly, it didn't stop Pochi from circling from the side and give the Fang a good slice from his Ring.

"Get lost!" Dragunov shouted as he tried again, now that Fang Blade was focusing on Pochi, the dragon was able punch the Driver off the train. Shortly after, that Blade too reverted into a Core Crystal. But then Dragunov had to look up as he saw a Paladin's foot coming down upon him. Unfortunately for the pilot, instead of allowing himself to be crushed, Dragunov caught the foot and was holding it off of him rather easily. "Nice try. Heave...HO!" And with that, Dragunov pushed the foot off of him with enough force to make the mech topple off the train. But then Dragunov took an explosive blue ether shot into his chest, pushing him back.

"How's that feel, freak!?" The Fang who shot that shouted in rage of his comrades being flung off the train by this monster.

"Why you little," Dragunov growled, having sunk to one knee and panting from the hit. "That Blade must be water element." the draconic Blade thought as he felt sapped by that hit. Earlier on, Dragunov had used quite a lot of elemental attacks as they stormed the underground city. And now he had taken what had to be an Art from a water Blade. In short, Dragunov was getting tired.

"Crescent Spinner!" And then Ruby appeared in front of the Fang Driver and did a vertical spin in midair. Letting out rose petals with every hit. Sending the enemy reeling away, as Oobleck engaged more of them with Adenine's weapon's.

"You okay, Dragunov," Roze asked the fire Blade in concern, even as he was focusing on powering Ruby.

"I will be," Dragunov replied as he stood up on shaky legs, "But I think I need a recharge."

"All the fire Dust we got is with Yang," Roze said, just before he had to move forward and block an attack directed at Ruby.

"Well, that's just...," Dragunov trailed off with his grumble as he felt a little something that made him grit his teeth. "Dammit, Yang!" With that, the draconic Blade turned back the way they came from and ran like his life depended on it.

Ruby, Oobleck and their Blades were too busy right now to hear what Dragunov exclaimed, much less notice him leaving.

With Yang... she was being beaten. No matter how hard she tried to hit. No matter how fast she punched, that little shrimp not only dodged each and every one of her attacks, but also countered them. Until finally, Neo dodged one more punch, before hitting Yang hard enough that she slammed into the ceiling before flopping back down, motionless. After waiting for few seconds, Neo smirked as she started drawing a hidden blade from her parasol. Only to stop at the sound of punctured metal. Neo craned her head upwards to see three glowing blades dragging themselves accross the roof before fingers made of stone wedged themselves between the tears and pried the metal apart with an ear-piercing sound. And then the ice-cream themed girl saw Dragunov looking down from the new hole in the ceiling with a very angry look.

"Hi there," Dragunov mock greeted before dropping down with his talons aimed at Neo.

But the vertically challenged girl jumped back to avoid the attacks from this partially stony thing.

"Stay still, you little...," Dragunov growled as he tried to punch at the diminutive mute. Sadly, for Dragunov, his punches were so slow that Neo had less problems avoiding them than she did with Yang. Then, with one more dodge, Neo smacked Dragunov across the face before drop kicking the said face and landed him on his tail right next to Yang. Dragunov hated to admit it, but now he understood how Yang lost. "Only...," Dragunov thought with a savage grin as he dug into Yang's pouch belt, fishing out two vials of purified fire Dust. "Let's see how that cocky little shrimp will deal with my full strength," Dragunov thought as he popped the corks open and downed the vials, instantly feeling his strength returning.

Neo raised an eyebrow at this thing eating Dust. But then again, she had heard about how these things power themselves by eating Dust. The purer the better. Then the tiny cracks in the things body glowed orange for an instant as the thing got up while discarding the empty vials.

"Let's try that again, shall we," Dragunov asked with a savage grin.

Neo gave a cocky smirk as she opened her parasol and made a come-hither motion. After all, what could that thing do with just a little Dust in its tank? Only for her eyes to widen as Dragunov charged her with increased speed. Neo was further shocked, when she dodged the first punch with the claw at the side missing her head by mere inches. But then the other one came, and another, and another. Neo was able to dodge all of them, but this time she was clearly putting effort into it. Then the thing raised its right fist high, which drew Neo's attention with a small smirk. Seriously, she could see that punch coming from a mile away. It was almost as if... Neo's cocky look turned into one of realization just before Dragunov switched his attack into a left hook. Launching the tiny girl into the roof, slamming her against it before falling back down. Except, Dragunov then grabbed the ice-cream girl by her leg mid-fall and started slamming her on the floor, walls and Neo was pretty sure her head hit the ceiling a couple times. It was a miracle her aura held on through the assault, before Dragunov chose to throw her into the door that led to the back of the train. Neo was barely able to get back up, but right now she was equal parts angry and afraid. Except... that thing came here to protect the blondie, so she must be his Driver. And if that's the case, all she would have to do is kill her, and that thing will turn into one of those Crystals. With that plan in mind, Neo used her semblance to turn herself invisible before taking light steps to move past the now confused Blade. Neo already had a triumphant smirk as she was right next to Dragunov, before she was hit against the wall by something.

"Nice try, girlie," Dragunov said smugly, before reaching his hand out to the general direction of where he slammed the little brat with his tail. To his satisfaction, he grabbed the girl by her head judging by what felt like a face against his palm. "But the nose knows." Dragunov was able to pinpoint Neo's location by scent the moment she was walking past him. Then Dragunov slammed Neo's head against the wall once, finally breaking her aura and by extension, shattered her invisibility. And then Dragunov started slowly applying pressure with his fingers as he was planning to crush Neo's skull.

Poor Neo was grasping Dragunov's fingers in an attempt to pry them off her head as her mouth was now open in a silent scream against his palm. It wouldn't be long before Neo's skull would crack like an egg before her brain would be turned into mush. Now Neo was scared, truly scared of dying in this painful way.

But lucky for Neo, Dragunov smelled a third person in this train car. Turning his head quickly, the draconic Blade saw a woman, wearing a red and black outfit. A Grimm mask covering her head, but Dragunov could still see the mane of black hair. The woman also had a sword in a sheath on her left hip, but the sheath seemed to contain multiple kinds of Dust. "Reinforcements, huh?" Dragunov growled in his head, before throwing Neo away and flinging a fireball at the intruder. Which forced the unknown woman to move away from it and by extension, Yang. With that, Dragunov ran towards the woman, before stopping between her and Yang. "The only way to her is through me, lady," Dragunov growled threateningly.

At that moment, Yang groaned as she started to get up. Opening her eyes to a familiar pair of stony legs. "Dragunov?" Yang sounded out.

The said draconic Blade dared to glance back to see his Driver recovering, before once again glaring at the woman. "Yang, I know it might be a lot to ask now, but I need you to get up," Dragunov said as the woman in front of the Blade-Driver pair grasped her sheathed sword. This prompted Dragunov to take a fighting stance, ready to counter anything this woman could throw at him.

And then the woman drew the red bladed katana. Swinging it next to her she created a swirling red and black hole in mid-air. The mysterious woman stepped through the portal, just after Yang had gotten a good look at her. And then the portal closed behind her. "Was that... mom?" Yang couldn't help thinking. Then the blonde remembered her previous situation, which prompted her to look around frantically. "Drag! Where's that ice-cream bitch!?" Yang asked angrily, not seeing the girl anywhere.

"Huh?" the mentioned Blade sounded out as he looked around. Sure enough, Neo was gone. After taking a couple of whiffs of air through his nose, Dragunov frowned, "She must've run away." Because he couldn't smell her anymore.

That made Yang relax a little, except now she was able to piece what happened. And she felt ashamed of herself. "I'm sorry, Drag," Yang apologized with a heavy sigh.

"What're you apologizing about," Dragunov asked, genuinely confused.

"...I told you I could handle myself and now look at me," the blonde said as she felt angry about herself losing so easily.

Dragunov sighed. It was good that Yang felt frustrated about her loss, but this wasn't the time. "Yang, don't be sorry, be better. So that next time, it'll be her on the floor instead of you," the draconic Blade said supportively.

"...Thanks," Yang said, a little surprised at Dragunov being this supportive.

"Anytime, now let's move," the dragon said, before the two moved out.

With Weiss, she had just managed to block the chainsaw sword with a barrier glyph, before deflecting the said weapon and retaliating. This attack pushed the lieutenant back a little, but he instantly went on offensive again. Unfortunately for him, Weiss either dodged or deflected each and every attack thrown at her. Even going so far as back-flipping right beneath one swing.

All the while Dahlia was torn. The lieutenant seemed to have completely forgotten about her. Which meant that there were about a thousand openings for the ice Blade to exploit. But she had promised Weiss that she would stay back, until she thought the heiress would need the help that is.

Speaking of which, the lieutenant managed to drive Weiss against a stack of crates for him to trap her. However, the Schnee Driver jumped over the intended kick and using a glyph, launched herself at the Fang. However, the Fang jumped back to avoid it. Weiss, deciding to end this now, quickly used a time dilation glyph to make herself even faster. But as she charged at the lieutenant, she made several glyphs appear around the man. Then she dealt the first strike before the lieutenant could react, reaching the first glyph and launched herself to the next, then another and another and another, striking the lieutenant every time she passed him. Downing the man with the last one. As the lieutenant was getting back up, Weiss got in front of the man to give one more strike to break his aura.

"Come here, princess," Except the lieutenant recovered already and grabbed the shocked heiress by the face before slamming her to the ground with all his might. Then he threw Weiss up and brought in the chainsaw sword in an attempt to bisect her. Except his weapon was deflected when Dahlia threw her bitball at it, while the ice bunny ran in to retrieve her Driver from midair before retreating.

"Dahlia." Weiss sounded out in mild confusion as she found herself in her Blade's arms. Except she was quickly put down as Dahlia needed both hands to meet the enraged lieutenants next swing by ramming the bitball against it.

The lieutenant couldn't believe this. This living weapon was matching his strength with a body that was clearly not built for battle. Which of course enraged the faunus further as he desperately tried to overpower the busty Blade.

In the end, Dahlia was able to push the attack back before ramming the bladed ball into the lieutenant's chest, the blades rotating like a chainsaw as she did so, forcing the Fang lieutenant to momentarily retreat. Some Blades are weaker than others, but no matter how much or little the Blades may look suited for combat, they all possess at least an enough strength to overpower most humans. And Dahlia is no exception. Granted she had to put in some effort.

"Dahlia, I-" "Save it, Weiss," Dahlia interrupted sternly, "You and I will take care of this together now."

"But I need to uphold my honor as a Schnee!" Weiss argued back.

"...Honor Schmonor." Dahlia retorted, earning a look of shocked horror from Weiss. "My Driver is not a Schnee. My Driver is a girl named Weiss," the ice bunny said, directing a meaningful look towards the said Driver.

Weiss opened and closed her mouth repeatedly. Unable to come up with any kind of counter argument. Other than, "But Schnee is my family name!"

At that moment the lieutenant let out a laugh. "Did you seriously think that a Schnee would listen to something as disgusting as you," the terrorist asked Dahlia who now adopted a highly annoyed look.

"And what is that supposed to mean," Dahlia asked, readying her bitball in case this guy chose to attack.

"That bitch already hates normal faunus, so what makes you think she wouldn't find you even uglier than the rest of us?" the lieutenant explained, "So just step aside, and I can free you from that Grimm spawn's control."

"Weiss is not a Grimm spawn," Dahlia retorted as she prepared to throw her weapon.

The lieutenant shook his head at hearing that. "I see... You're just like the rest. So damn broken that you actually love being a slave. Then again, the only use anyone could possibly have for you is between your-ARGH!" the lieutenant was interrupted by a shot of energy Dust in the face.

Courtesy of Weiss who had gotten back up with the frostiest fury she has ever had in her eyes. "Don't you dare say that about Dahlia." Weiss said threateningly, before extending her free hand towards Dahlia. "Dahlia, give me the ball," the heiress said surprising Dahlia a little.

"I thought you needed to uphold your honor as a Schnee," Dahlia said, being a little unsure of why Weiss was able to discard this "honor" so fast.

"This isn't about the Schnee family anymore. This is personal now," Weiss retorted, still glaring daggers at the Fang lieutenant.

Dahlia smiled at her Driver as she passed her weapon along happily, linking with her Driver immediately.

"Living weapon or no, there's no way I could lose to a Schnee," the lieutenant said resolutely as he revved up his chainsaw sword before charging at the duo.

Weiss used a launching glyph to fire the bitball at the lieutenant who lifted his weapon to block the projectile. Sadly, that's what Weiss counted on, seeing as she followed it up with stab into the stomach, but the guy's aura held on stubbornly. Gritting her teeth, Weiss caught the bitball into her right hand while adding fire Dust into the next strike with Myrtenaster.

"You little-!" The lieutenant growled as he tried to bisect Weiss, but Dahlia came in to create a barrier to block it.

Which in turn allowed Weiss to jump above and launch the bitball. "Snowfall!" Weiss called out, without even understanding why. The lieutenant quickly stepped back, which made the bitball hit the floor. But to both the lieutenant's and Weiss' shock, the bitball released a shockwave which immediately made the high-ranking Fang stumble. Even so, Weiss chose to capitalize on the opening it created after getting back down. This time, she kept stabbing the man's torso with as much speed as she could muster, but then she swiped the man's feet off, before launching the bitball in the lieutenant's torso before he could hit the ground.

This combo move launched the lieutenant across the train car. Allowing herself a breather, Weiss looked at the bitball which had bounced back to her just like it did with Dahlia. "What was that shockwave? More importantly, why did I say Snowfall?" Weiss thought in her head.

"YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS YOU BITCH!" The lieutenant shouted, once again charging at Weiss. The man had gotten up surprisingly quickly from that last attack, but his aura was in the red now. Although neither Weiss, nor Dahlia know this.

But instead of getting scared, Weiss just smiled, "Finish him off, Dahlia." And the heiress threw the bitball back to her Blade who accepted it happily.

"Alright, Weiss," Dahlia said with a small smile before kissing the bitball. The blizzard inside it seemingly becoming more furious. "Take this, Snowblind!" Dahlia called out as she threw the bitball at the lieutenant.

"You think I can't block that?!" The lieutenant roared as he brought the chainsaw sword down in an attempt to cut that annoying ball in two this time. Bad move, because the moment the two weapons collided, the bitball unleashed a blizzard upon the Fang. The man had just enough time to feel scared, before he was slowly being encased in ice. "No! No! NOOOO!" The man screamed as his head was covered in ice.

And then the bitball returned to Dahlia, leaving the now frozen lieutenant behind. Interestingly enough, there were large vertical icicles formed behind the man, as if someone sprayed water on him which instantly froze.

"Let's get going Weiss," Dahlia said as she severed the link, seeing as it wasn't needed anymore.

"...Okay," Weiss said, despite having a lot of questions.

With Blake, Torchwick was still smiling, despite being held at sword point. "Do you truly believe that that bow will make everyone forget what you are. What you've-" The criminal was interrupted by Nox kicking him on the head, surprising Blake.

"He was out of line." the dark Blade showed on his scroll before rolling more, "It doesn't matter what you were. What matters is what you will be from now on."

"...Thanks, Nox," Blake thanked with a grateful smile. Then she adopted more serious expression, "We should get to those controls quickly.

Nox nodded right before the door behind them opened, allowing entry for Weiss and Dahlia.

"Weiss, are you okay?" Blake had to ask her team mate.

"Of course I am," Weiss replied, "Otherwise I wouldn't be here."

The hidden faunus rolled her eyes at that before getting to more important things. "The controls should be just up ahead," Blake said, pointing towards the other door.

"Then let's get to them," Weiss said, and with that, the Drivers and Blades ran as fast as they could to the controls.

Up on the roof. Despite, Dragunov's disappearance, Ruby and Oobleck were relatively easily dealing with both the paladins, and the White Fang Drivers. Although now the terrorists were using a paladin as support for the White Fang Drivers. Not that it protected the mech from...

"Adenine, now!" Oobleck shouted as he flung the book weapons to his Blade.

"Of course," Adenine said, equipping the knuckle claws for herself. "Slipstream!" And then Adenine unleashed vacuum blades with rapid chops and kicks. Each blade causing pieces of the paladin to be peeled away. "Blade Combo: Cyclone," Adenine then called out as Roze had unleashed Petal Blast before. And then the said natural disaster formed, despite the relatively confined space, causing both the mech and several of the enemy Drivers and Blades to be thrown off the train.

After that, Ruby and Oobleck dealt with two more common Drivers, before moving on again. "...Roze, are common Blades really this weak?" Ruby had to ask, because this felt a little too easy to her for some reason.

"No, Ruby. We are just that strong," Roze said simply, although the skill of their Drivers is also a factor. Either they haven't had much practice with the weapons or they haven't really bonded with their Blades beyond "You're my weapon so I'll use you how I like".

"Ruby, you go on ahead," Oobleck then spoke up as more fangs were coming from behind.

"Huh? But-" "Do not worry," Oobleck interrupted, "I'm planning to teach them a lesson." With that, Oobleck strode over towards the incoming Fangs alongside Adenine. Zwei looked a little down at the nice doctor leaving.

"Go," Ruby told her dog, wanting the teacher to at least have some back up. With that, Zwei went after Oobleck with one happy bark.

"Boss said, thanks," Pochi said before following his Driver.

Ruby let out a smile at that, before turning back around and racing towards the front with Roze.

When the pair reached the front, the hatch on the roof opened and Nox peeked out of it. His eye widened at the sight of Ruby and Roze before he moved his hand to show his scroll beneath.

"What!?" Was heard from inside, before a monochromatic pair of heads peeked out.

"Ruby, the controls are destroyed! We can't stop the train," Blake quickly said, earning a look of horror from Ruby.

"Then what're we gonna do," Ruby said in distress, before an idea came to her, "Could Dragunov jump to the front and stop the train?"

"Not a chance," the said Blade replied from inside the train car. He and Yang had reached the front not long after Blake and Weiss did. "Besides, it's too late. The tunnel's ending," the draconic Blade said, looking out the window to see the horrific sight. Sure enough, the end of the tunnel was fast approaching.

"What do we do now?" Yang asked from below.

Weiss had a determined look. "Yang, get up here! I'll make a barrier for us to soften the impact. If Dahlia helps me, I think I can make it big enough for- WHOA!" Weiss was interrupted by Dragunov grabbing them both from below before practically throwing her and Blake up. Shortly after Yang was also thrown with them.

"Weiss, make the barrier now," Dahlia shouted, peeking out of the hatch to do so.

"But what about you, guys?" Ruby asked looking at the end that they would hit in mere seconds.

"We're Blades," Roze said, severing the link between himself and Ruby, "This won't be enough to kill us."

"Well, yeah. But-" Ruby was interrupted when Weiss used Myrtenaster and all the ice Dust in it to create an ice barrier around herself and the rest of her team. Leaving the Blades to fend for themselves. The white-haired girl still gave her Blade a small glare of fury and fear before the barrier fully formed.

Dahlia realized what that look meant. "You better make it through this or I'll never forgive you!"

"Brace for impact!" Dragunov shouted as he prepared himself for a world of hurt. Alongside his fellow Blades. Each Blade barely had time to comply with these words before the train hit the sealed wall.

AN: Whelp, here's the next chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it.

I wonder how much hate I will receive from all the Neo fanboys/-girls from getting the ice-cream lady brutalized at the hands of Dragunov. And yes, the fearsome dragon is that invested in Yang now.

And Nox didn't like what Torchwick had to say.

Finally, that poor lieutenant shouldn't have made it personal for Weiss XD.
