Wave Control.

Kyoka was not excited about this test. The sheer size of the gate reminded her how small she was. Even compared to most people, she was fairly short. Added with her lack of "development" she was usually seen as a child and overlooked by the boys her age. Well, besides chargebolt, she guessed with a light smile. He'd always been there for her, supporting her both physically and mentally; it shouldn't be surprising that she'd grew a bit of a crush on the boy. Despite being dumb as a rock, courtesy of his quirk's backlash, he was funny and friendly. His looks didn't hurt, either. She shook her head, flushing; she didn't need those thoughts in her head, she had a test to beat. He did say he wanted to talk to her afterwards, and that just increased her determination.

Out of nowhere, some kid shoulder-checked her. "Get out of my way, looser!"

Excuse you. She'd have nearly fell if someone hadn't caught her back. "Geez, some people have no chill. Thanks, man." She turned around to shake his hand. "Jirou Kyoka. And you are?" aside from. Having a gorgeous face, the boy seemed to not be much; completely ordinary.

"Jahaad Izuku." Or maybe not. "Don't worry about the blonde fellow; he did that to another young miss earlier. I'm sure he is simply explaining his nervousness for the exams. That shove did look a bit rough, however; are you okay?" Time out; not only did his family name throw her for a loop, but the way he talked was so weird. He reminded her of those butlers that rich people had; was he taught to speak like that? Now that she got a second to study him though, she noticed that even with the drab clothes he wore, the posture and muscle mass he had were well evident. He may not be the strongest contestant out here, but she definitely wouldn't want to take a hit from him.

"Yeah, I'm good. So you two are acquainted?" He didn't seem like the type to roll with hotheads like that blonde cunt; she just wanted to do something to get her nerves off the test.

"No. I do no believe that befriending him would serve much benefit, aside from an easy target to let my frustrations out on." Okay, so he can joke. "I had arrived to this city only a week ago with my sister. We are very new to populated areas, so my… family decided that us coming a week in advance would provide good information for navigation." So he's not from here. He speaks Japanese well enough, if a bit too formal; perhaps foreign?

"And where's your sister?"

"Another testing site. It would be too much trouble to place us both together."

"Is that arrogance I hear?" she can't say she particularly enjoyed hearing that.

"Not at all; we have simply trained together for such a long time that our teamwork would not only pose a problem for individual contestants such as yourself, but also the grading staff."

"Ah." Fair enough. "So you guys are twins?"

"We are the same age, but no. Our family situation is a bit complicated."

"Sounds it."

He offered a light smile. "It is best we part ways here. We both must focus on our exams, no?" He turned and walked toward the gate that seemed to be less intimidating in the presence of that Jahaad kid. "Good luck in the exams, Jirou-san. I'm sure we will see each other again."

She stood there for a moment; it had only crossed her mind as he left. She hadn't heard him at all. Aside from him speaking to her, there was no sound; not even when he walked away. He was completely silent, and that made her uncomfortable. Either he is naturally like that (which is scary on its own), or he was able to identify her quirk even before approaching her and flawlessly avoided detection. She had hidden her earlobes to avoid people staring at her; it was common for people make fun of her. And that's what scared her; unless he had some kind of quirk-detection quirk, he shouldn't have been able to do that.

Whatever; no time for that now, she still had a test. As she started stretching, she heard alarms start blaring; just what she wanted. As she covered her ears, she turned around to notice the gate lowering to the ground. Around the halfway point, an emerald-gold blur jumped into the air, launching itself into the test site. She had a bad feeling about this. She started weaving her way through the crowd as everyone pushed through the gate. Only to see something absolutely horrifying; a crater the size of a city block and at least two stories deep gouged the earth a few meters after the site entrance. What kind of firepower would have done this?

Up ahead, she saw something like 30 robots coming towards their position; blocked only by Jahaad. The thoughts of the crater and his confidence came back to her. Oh boy. Once close enough, his left hand glowed a deep black and purple as he raised it; dripping and smoked, like gravity was fighting for control. Then, everything went black, as if even the sun bent to the will of the green-haired boy. A wave of… something (everything?) was launched from him and immediately pulverized the small metal army, along with the buildings that were in his path. The sound was both silent and deafening, and the aftermath was more than terrible. It was as if a God swept away a chunk of the fake city; there was nothing but the foundation to have even known the buildings were there.

Everyone in the watch room gawked at the screen; save Shouta, who only let out a whistle. This was by far the most damage done in a test site. And even more than that, there were no casualties; even All Might had accidentally injured a few contestants when he was a student. " That's the guy you were talking about!?" Hizashi yelled as he shook Shouta around, "You gotta warn us about potentially dangerous kids like that! Imagine if he hurt - no killed – somebody?"

"I was able to judge his competence when we had met earlier. He was never going to be a liability; if anything, I believe he will greatly reduce the amount of injured brats in this test. Isn't that right sir?" he glanced to the small white bear-thing in dress clothes.

"I believe that Aizawa-san is correct." Nezu, the principle and director of UA, said; pulling up the student's file. Arguably one of the most intelligent individuals in Japan, Nezu commanded respect. "Izuku Jahaad." A pause; the principle looked troubled. "Age: 18; gender: male; quirk:…" a sigh, "Shinsu Control. He also has a sister, Endorsi, with the same quirk. She's in another testing site." He looked to Shouta, who held his gaze; they stayed like that for a minute as if having their own silent conversation. "You can handle another two can't you?"

Shouta grumbled, "I suppose. Yuri wasn't the worst pupil I had."

"Who's Yuri?" Nemuri asked, intrigued.

"Yuri was a student of Shouta's; she was only in his class due to… reasons I will not disclose. She is now a hero near Mt. Fuji. We're going to try to incorporate these two into a regular class system though this time; hopefully it will assist in their social and communication skills." Nezu was not one to empathize, but you could tell something was off.

"Sounds great! I can't wait to meet the new listeners!" Well, at least Hizashi was excited.

"Wonderful! I do hope the rest of you will show the same hospitality as you normally would. These two will be a bit odd, it will be their first time in such a populated place." He closed the file to show Jahaad perched on a building, looking tired but alert; a very good characteristic of a hero. "As much fun as this was, I do believe that it is that time." The little bear walked to the button on the console. "Let's see what the new miracles can do." The ground rumbled lightly as the Zero-pointers were released. On the screen, young Jahaad got up and faced toward the camera, once again surprising the teachers. He nodded and then disappeared from sight; a silent promise to keep the area safe.

Ochako was feeling quite winded after taking out 13 robots; she was already feeling nauseous by the 8th, but she needed more points if she were to get in. In the distance, a low rumble began and those aggravating sirens wailed once again. Well that couldn't be good. The ground shook violently as an absolutely hulking robot closed in on her position; yeah, it was time to go find robots elsewhere.

"Shit! Help; I'm stuck!" Oh no. She turned around to see a dusty-blonde kid in a karate gee with his tail stuck in between some rubble debris. To make it worse, the boy was in the direct path of the giant metal monster. Cursing her selflessness, she ran as fast as she could to get to the kid; hoping she wouldn't be too late.

"Hey, shouldn't we stop that thing? It is about to crush one of the students if they don't get out the way." Nemuri sounded worried. "We can't be sure the kids are safe."

"I completely agree, Ms. Kayama." Nezu pressed the kill switch, "The test is soon to be over anyway."

"Hey, uh, isn't that supposed to make the robot stop?" Hizashi asked; a little more nervous than usual.

"What?" The white bear pressed the button again. Nothing. "Oh dear. This is quite the predicament. Get one of the safeties on the phone, now; tell them there's an emergency in site B!"

By the time she got there, the robot was nearly on top of them and getting closer by the second. She worked fast; getting the small rocks and debris out of the way to prevent over usage of her quirk. All that was left was a slab of concrete. She touched it with her quirk but it wouldn't budge. Oh no. She tried again; and then a third time but nothing happened. She was too weak, and now they were both going to die. The robot lifted its foot, bringing it down with enough force to easily crush them. The two closed their eyes, prepared for the worst.

Crunch.

"Get that boy out of the way!" Ochako opened her eyes to the sound of someone else. Only to be brought back into reality as she saw the horror of her situation: the blonde boy was still unconscious, most likely from trauma and blood loss; they were still in grave danger; and the only thing standing in between them and their death was another boy, who looked to be struggling. The gargantuan robot was stuck in place by some kind of magic, coming from the dark-haired boy; his hair stuck to his head by sweat, covering gold-glowing eyes. The world seemed to bend to his will as liquid shadows poured from thin air, further restraining the metal titan. The amount of training it must have tak-

"I can't hold much longer, girl; I need you to get away from here!" her attention was once again grounded.

"I can't get him up!" She cried; when was the last time she truly felt this scared and helplessness?

Suddenly another face was brought to her attention as another boy ran to their position. His messy purple hair was matted to hi forehead. "I believe I can help. No hard feelings, right?"

Who was this guy? "yea-" She stopped, completely. What's going on?!

"Lift the slab up." As he said it, her body moved. She wasn't in control; she couldn't speak or move. But her body complied to the command and she touched the concrete. The nausea and headache was unbearable, but the concrete slab lifted into the air. The boy wasted no time; grabbing the blonde and moving him to safety. "Release the slab! Move north, quickly!" her body once again obeyed his words and she ran away from the damage, releasing the slab as she did. Purple hair wasn't too far behind, carrying the unconscious boy on his shoulders. "We're out of your way!" he called back to their savior.

With the injured out of the way, the boy turned all of his focus to the hulking mass; with one final push, he constricted the binds, crushing the robot. Explosions erupted from the main body crushing the robot. Explosions erupted from the main body as chunks of metal flew around; one of the smaller pieces struck Ochako in the leg, allowing her control of her body. She collapsed to the ground, tired. The adrenaline had been gone a while ago and the only thing that had kept her up was the mind-control guy's quirk.

"Okay. We made it. Holy shit, everything hurts." The purple boy said, "I'm just glad everything worked out. Sorry about using my quirk on you without permission, by the way; we didn't really have time for chatting."

"No…" Ochako panted, "no problem." She didn't get up, but she raised her hand from her supine position to a thumbs up. "Pretty sure there's a chunk of metal in my leg but I'm too tired to get it out."

"Good idea. You could've bled out if you did."

"The boy is right." They both sat up to see the robot destroyer walking over to them; like he hadn't just been in agonizing pain to keep them alive. As he got closer, Ochako noticed what few wounds he had left were slowly healing. "The piece of debris is deep in your leg. I have used too much energy to be able to heal you myself, but a healer is en route to our position." The boy sat himself down on a chunk of concrete, obviously winded himself. He took a moment to look at the still unconscious tail boy, before looking back at them. "Thank you, both of you. I did not have enough strength to both stop the robot and save the boy. I trust you both to be very good heroes in the future."

The girl flushed, "Oh no! No no no; I didn't really do all that much! I was just at the right place, at the right time is all!" The boy next to her nodded, a light tinge of pink on hos cheeks.

"Quite the contrary." A small, old lady piped up, making herself known.

"Ah, Chiyo sensei; I sensed a healer coming but I didn't know it was you. You are always able to slip by." He nodded to her in fondness; did the boy know this lady?

"I just like to keep you on your toes, Izuku." she laughed; "Alright, who all needs help?" It sounded more like a statement than a question. She started looking at the purple boy but magic boy (now named Izuku) stopped her, pointing to Ochako. At the sight of her injury, the old lady, Mrs. Chiyo, gasped, "Oh my goodness! Izuku; why haven't you pulled that piece out of her yet!?" she cracked her cane upside his head; albeit lightly, it still sounded like it hurt.

"I'm sorry, Chiyo sensei, but I ran out of energy a long time ago. Had I known she was that injured, I would've used my med-shot on her instead."

"Mmm. I'll allow it." She further expected the wound, "Do you think you have enough energy now?"

"Do you have my pills on you?"

Mrs. Chiyo sighed, opening a pocket. "You know how much I hate you using these." She pulled out a bottle of small, dark pills; giving him one.

"So do I." Izuku placed it under his tongue and closed his eyes. The effect was immediate and he looked completely recharged. He let out a sigh and opened his eyes; his sclera now pitch black and his irises glowing gold. He looked a lot like Ei-kun's friend earlier that day, Ochako noticed. He walked over to her and kneeled by her injured leg, "I will not lie to you; this is going to hurt a lot. I need you to be strong. Can you do that?" Despite being scared, the boy's voice calmed her.

She nodded, "Okay."

The pain she felt for those few seconds were excruciating. It took all of her effort to not scream in pain; she knew the boy didn't enjoy what he was doing and was sure that screaming would only make him feel worse. After getting the metal shard out, Izuku immediately went to work on healing the opened wound. His quirk worked wonders to not only relieve the pain, but also completely fix the injury. It was a wonder how someone could have such a quirk that could just about bend reality the its user's discretion.

"That should do it." He stood up, "you should be able to walk now, but don't go pushing yourself."

"It's always amazing to watch how fast you work, Izuku. Perhaps one day I'll be able to retire with you as my replacement." Mrs. Chiyo mused.

"Please don't say stuff like that; my quirk doesn't hold a candle to yours, Chiyo sensei. Besides; the world still needs its youthful heroine."

"Oh, stop it; you'll make me blush." The old lady laughed.

"And what of this kid?" The purplette pointed to the unconscious blond boy. "He's been past out for a while. And I think his tail may be broken."

"Mm. Izuku?" Mrs. Chiyo leaned over the blonde.

"I can keep going." He crouched and placed his hands on the boy's tail. Whatever dream the kid was in soon faded as he woke up in extreme pain. Ochako felt bad for him; at least she was notified. Izuku worked fast, straightening out his tail and healing the bones back to its previous condition. It was over quickly and the old lady gave the tail boy a gummy after, probably to put him to sleep as that's what happened. "It seems like a decent time for introductions, now that the casualties are dealt with. You already know my name; who are you two?" he faced her and mind-control guy; his eyes having returned To normal.

"Shinzo Hitoshi. My quirk is mind control." Ochako smiled to herself, she called it. "Whenever I ask a question, whoever responds will be under my command until some form of blunt force is received by the subject."

Izuku nodded, "Indeed that is quite the quirk. Very good thinking on using it to help in the situation. And you?" He faced Ochako.

"I-I'm Uraraka Ochako. My quirk is zero gravity; whatever I touch with all five fingers looses gravity. It does cause me nausea and I can only life up to a ton right now." She grabbed a rock to demonstrate, "And when I clasp my hands together and say 'release', the effect is gone." The rock dropped back to the ground.

"Mm; a versatile quirk; and you as well Shinzo-san." He nodded, "I'm Jahaad Izuku. My quirk is called shinsu control."

"What's shinsu?" Ochako asked.

Mrs. Chiyo snapped her head to the Jahaad boy. "No; absolutely not." Well that was quite the touchy subject.

Jahaad looked at the old lady and nodded; unspoken words passing between them. Finally, he faced her. "It's… complicated." There was more to it than he said.

"I won't push further; promise." She said with a smile, "I have secrets, myself."

"Well, as lovely as this conversation has been, we are well past time to leave." Mrs. Chiyo motioned them to follow her, Jahaad already up and moving, "The faculty entrance is that way, Izuku knows where he's going. I'll catch up after taking a last-look for anyone else."

"So just follow the kid? Cool." Shinzo-san got up and followed. Ochako waited a little longer before she got up, dusting herself off.

"I can handle this one, dear." The old lady made her way to the unconscious boy. "He will be out for a while. Thanks to both you and young Shinzo, Izuku was able to save his energy. It takes quite some courage to do that. I know of only a few people like that; all of them were quite the pain in the neck." The annoyance in her voice indicated it wasn't a one-time deal. "I sense the both of you are somewhat similar to him in the case to your bodies moving on their own. You will be wonderful heroes in the future." She smiled.

As embarrassing as the compliment made her, Ochako couldn't help but smile; she worked really hard to be a hero. The smile followed her as she ran after the others. Today was a good day after all.

Mina had been waiting with Eijiro for quite some time; his ' totally not a' girlfriend seemed to be running late. And by late, about a half-hour past what time everyone else got out. What was taking her so long?

"What is taking her so long?" Eijiro seemed to share the same thought. "she should've been here."

"Yeah, well, maybe she met with one of the teachers." Of course Mina was worried, but come on, this is U.A. they're talking about. "This is one of, if not, the safest place in Japan. Don't worry so much."

"Hey guys!" As if right on cue, Ochako came running up to them, with two boys in tow. "We were just getting patched up from a big fight. Luckily, these two were able to help me a lot. It's thanks to them that I was able to save another guy." She hugged Eijiro and he blushed profusely; so much for not being a girlfriend, mina thought.

She turned her attention to the two boys at her side. "Oh my gosh; it's you! How did my savior fair in the trials?" she tried for a posh accent, which seemed to work from his lighthearted snicker.

"I speculate I did fairly well, Ashido-san."

"You should've seen it! He held off the big robot so we could save the other boy!" Ochako excitedly waved her arms around. "It was like he was able to control reality itself!"

Eijiro looked at her, confused. "Big robot; the zero point one? Dude that thing was huge!"

"It took a lot out of me; I was only able to successfully neutralize the target due to these two. It took a lot of bravery to run in there with only the will to save someone."

The way he spoke was something she'd never get used to. "You speak like someone who's been in the military, what's with all that proper speaking?"

He smiled, "I already told you I am not from here; my… father is also very close to the military and has ties within." He wasn't giving the full story, and she was determined to get it.

"Either way, that's some super manly skills you got to be able to take on that big hunk of metal!"

"Oh I doubt that!" a new voice made itself known. They all turned to Jahaad to find a girl leaning against his shoulder; his sister she remembered. "If it was anything like what I had dealt with, it would've been nothing."

He sighed, "I assume it is time to leave, then?" He turned to the group, "I bit all of you farewell. I hope to see all of you in class next week." With that, he turned and walked away.

The sister stayed though; she stared at the group, making them somewhat uncomfortable. "He is a good boy. I hope we all get along." She went after her brother, leaving the group to speculate what she meant.

Turning back to the group, Mina noticed the purple boy leave and Ochako was saying goodbye to Eijiro; quickly followed by her chasing after the boy to probably say the same. It was just them.

"You like him, don't you?" Eijiro surprised her with that one.

"Huh?" she was more confused than embarrassed, "Whatcha mean?"

"Are you kidding me? 'My savior'? Not to mention he's definitely a looker. And strong!" He rubbed his chin in thought, "If I was a girl, that'd definitely be my first pick!"

"Ew; don't do that to your girlfriend."

"She's not my girlfriend!" he flushed, "All I'm saying is that I definitely approve your decision."

"I forget just how insufferable you can be. He seems like a great guy, no doubt; I just don't see him like that."

" Yet." He turned around and started his way out. "Besides, I think he has a thing for you, too."

She stiffened; that wasn't what she expected. "What are you talking about?" No hidden jokes this time; just genuine curiosity.

"Didn't you notice the way he looked at you? Manz was eating you with his eyes. Not that way, but he was definitely more interested in you than us."

A tinge of lilac appeared on her cheeks. She's used to being looked at by guys, but Jahaad never looked at her like that; he always seemed to have that care and respect when looking at her and she really liked th- "Oh my God; I like him." Her blush spread across her face, instigating Eijiro to cackle. She never felt this before; sure she knew what a crush was, she watched all of the romance and princess movies. But knowing and feeling was so much different. "What am I going to do?!"

"My best advice? Just be yourself. As a friend, you're a very great person. And I think he sees that; so don't go changing or anything about you."

"Awww, Thanks!"

"For sure!" He scratched his head, "Now, er, do you think you can see what Ochako's favorite flowers are?"

"Ha! I knew it!"

The limo ride to the compound was time consuming; Takayama was a three hour drive from Musutafu. Conversation was unavoidable.

"You like her?" Endorsi never held back for drama.

"Who?"

"The pink girl. She's really cute."

"Mm. She is a very lovely person. I wouldn't say I'm not willing to have a relationship with her."

"Your eyes are the same, too."

"…"

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring that up."

"…"

"Do you want to change the subject?"

"Please."

Endorsi couldn't think of much else. She knew his thoughts on his eyes, but she said it anyway; she felt terrible. Not wanting to make the situation worse, she opted to simply enjoy the ride in peaceful silence.
