The Salvation Of The Chosen One

Warnings: This story is going several weeks back to my previous Revenge of the Sith story, taking place directly after he and Obi-wan get back. It's also going to involve having his adult memories, Obi-wan and Yoda's souls shooting back to that day. So this will be insuring Palpatine is never going to win this, as the twins arrive. And they see their parents for real as young adults, insuring their adult memories are strong.

With this chapter is the start of things after their exchange, only Anakin is playing his alter ego, when he goes to Palpatine. And when at the temple or with Padme he's himself, so dressed as Luke's appearance at 19. He's Anakin, dressed in the flight-suit, he's Vader, as he's allowing Palpatine to twist his mind. As Anakin, he's resisting and working with Qui-Gon and waiting till Palpatine reveals himself to them finally.

This is going to follow Anakin's lightsaber quest color meaning now, so he himself is blue, Andy is red, Anakin has Obi-wan and Qui-Gon as his mentor and family. While Andy is slowly becoming partnered with Darth Maul and Emperor Palpatine now. So from here is Anakin is basic writing, Andy is now in bold and italicized writing. Just to tell them apart here, when he's switching back and forth…

Chapter 10: The Way Of The Apprentice I

"After your trauma, that doesn't surprise me right now, Andy crossed the line." she said and he nodded to that. "We're going Grey Jedi till it's safe now and the twins and their class are old enough to defend themselves." she said and Mace nodded in agreement to her opinion. "Alright hang on." Qui-Gon said as he took his lightsaber and carefully focused, as one crystal changed. And to blue, before he put it back together and turned it on and it glowed turquoise then gently.

"You're a guardian, but you're great at diplomacy, I carry the red in my heart, but I'm a guardian and Obi-wan is a full guardian." Anakin said and the duo nodded smiling then. "I had 10 years of training, I'm not done yet, so 7 to 8 more, and 5 years a Jedi knight now. As I reveal myself to Palpatine, Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker is very much alive and he's in big trouble." he said and the council nodded smiling then at the news as stood there with a smile then.

"So me as I am in training by you father, but Andy is still a padawan, and I'm dual layer here with training to be a Master guardian and you starting my training with force healing." he said and they nodded. "Great he has your current looks, but you decided 23 year old padawan now, and Palpatine has no idea he's been calling you by the wrong name all this time." Obi-wan said and he nodded. "And secondly Andy's sneaking off to see me." Padme said in response to that.

"And behind my back, but you're my wife, so hands off right now." he said and she nodded in agreement. "I'm telling him the truth, there were two of us, but me, Anakin, I'm so tightly engrained in the lightside there is no getting to me. I just act like a 10 to 23 year old version of you father, Andy's the BPD patient." he said and they nodded. "This should be real good, but 5 years a padawan, another 5 a Jedi knight, and they're 19 by the time you hit 42 now in truth."

"So exactly 10 years, and they know you're a Jedi master, by the time they're 10, with 9 years left, before they come out of basic training." Mace said to clarify smiling and Anakin nodded. "I actually laid into Tru, for that right now Father, knowing once the war's over, you'd agree." he said and Qui-Gon and Adi nodded in approval as the girls and Ry all smiled. "Indeed, we agree if you asked for a few more years under us, we'd say yes as we finish your training now, baby."

"But that's exactly the loyalty to us we want, being our padawan, returning to us now." Adi said smiling and he smiled as she hugged him tightly then. "But I told them the truth on that right now, but before Darra was killed this was what I heard." he said and pulled out a tape recorder. "I noticed it, that droid must have pulverized your power circuit." Ferus Olin said and they heard Tru. "It keeps slipping back into half power." he said in response and sighed.

"What you're about to hear is Andy's realization they decided not to tell them right now, your father, after coming from talking to us. Talked them into admitting it, the three of them got off lightly for telling the truth, and your father gave Tru enough power. Now, for one last fight, but the secondary blast hit me, and knocked me into a coma. While the concussion, it triggered a case of mind fever, needing immediate medical attention." Darra said and they nodded gently.

"Back at it as usual, once back you immediately fall in and put our switch in there." Anakin said and she smiled and nudged his shoulder smiling then. "Andy, Andy, Andy, we're now using your alter ego's new name so much it just took on a life of it's own. And like someone living a lie who knows how long, it becomes real to them and it just did now guys. Our you is Anakin Cliegg Skywalker, Vader is Andy Darian Vandal, Sith alias Darth Vader." Minga said and Yoda nodded.

"That's my former rival, turned best friend Ferus Olin and the other voice is my best friend Tru Veld, Ferus is her's, that's Adi and Siri's, while Tru belongs to Tiana and her padawan Ry'." Anakin explained and Han crossed his arms. "The man your age we just met?" Leia asked and he nodded to her. "Yeah that's him, he's a teevin, but we been the best of friends, since we were 13, Andy was the one that was Ferus's rival, but the 4 of us were a team, but I'm leader."

"We been together so long that we decided to finish out here right now." he said and the younger generation nodded as he explained the circumstances to the 10 then gently at that remark. "The blast knocked the lightsaber out of his hand, and while I was dealing with checking to see who our mysterious Sith was, the one that called execution on your grandfather. I got blasted into the wall and the fight triggered a nasty case of shrapnel at the time here now."

"And Darra got hit, she knew she needed to get her arm taken care of, while seeing how serious that blow to the head was, Obi-wan and Soara decided. That never mind staying, we're leaving right now, as I wasn't up to another fight, reason being I hit the wall so hard, I blacked out." he said and Soara and Siri nodded in stern agreement as Ry' crossed his arms at the memory. "Yes indeed, not unlike when I barely broke my knee for the second time in 7 years, that blow."

"It was bad enough you needed a medical check up, that you're close to having your system crash on you here and that blow to the head finished it off." Obi-wan said sternly and he nodded and Qui-Gon nodded. "We're not doing that again Annie, but we both know we needed a break with you having that concussion, that laceration from the shrapnel was serious. And then to top it off is the lightsaber was broken and needed Tolan to check it." Darra said and he nodded then.

"Yeah we should have left when we had the chance, so not making the same mistakes twice here right now, you get injured if we do go back and we're calling it right now." Soara said and Obi-wan nodded. "Well a busted lightsaber plus these two injuries are reason enough, to call aborting the mission. We can take another crack at Zan Arbor later, but right now you need to rest, and she needs that arm taken care of." Qui-Gon said sternly and Adi nodded in agreement.

"Young man are you out of your mind, this is dangerously reckless, you know if were we there with you, once Anakin turned that into Tiana, Damon and me. We're coming home and checking how bad the damage is, while he and Darra recover!" Adi said in shocked fury at that as they heard a sigh, knowing he was going to be in trouble if he got caught then. "I know I should have told Ry Gaul, but he's so correct, he might leave me out of battle situations."

"Or even send me back to Coruscant." they heard and then heard a soft tone."Ry' would be within his rights to do that, without a functioning lightsaber. You're at risk right now Tru, your being here is a hindrance rather then a help. But quite honestly, they can wait, we need to go home right now, the Sith, Zan Arbor and Omega can wait. We need to regroup right now." they heard in response to that his remark and Mace nodded.

"That's me, as Andy." he said and they nodded. "And to say this again, it's not the Jedi way to lie to one's master, yeah well neither is eavesdropping right now." Anakin said in annoyance and Mace nodded bemused. "Andy, why not confront them right now, because we're going to think you risked killing her to prove Ferus is not the model padawan he claims to be?" Adi said sternly and Mace nodded in agreement. "That was my thinking in realizing it." Anakin said to her then.

"If your lightsaber is permanently damaged, Ry Gaul would be right to do so." they heard from Ferus in response to that remark. "After all, you don't want to go up against a Sith without a lightsaber." he said and they heard a firm tone. "No kidding, this mission is crucial, that's why I can't be send back, not yet, I just thought if I could fix it without Ry Gaul knowing it…." they heard and Anakin completed the sentence then at that remark.

"I could help with the arrest right now." they heard sighing and Mace nodded sternly as they heard more. "Look I know I wouldn't be the first candidate or the second, to enter the acceleration program. You and Anakin would be the first, maybe Darra would be the third, but I don't want to be left behind." they heard and he nodded. "You want to keep the team together and are ignoring the code?!" they heard in shocked disbelief then.

"Tru, you're advancement is not the reason we're here." Ferus said sternly at that remark and they heard it quickly. "That's not what I meant, I want to be with my fellow padawans, my fellow Jedi. Because we all know that the darkness is growing, we need every Jedi right now, I want to be out there."he said and they heard a gentle tone. "We all do Tru, but in order to be do so, we all have to be ship shape, but currently."

"We're still very young, not ready yet so much to learn still, but first rule is to survive, in order to do that, we must go home." they heard gently and Mace looked at Anakin and he nodded to him and the council nodded. "We all do…., alright, I fixed it, but why didn't you go to Anakin, he's better at this then I am." he said and they heard it. "He's busy with Obi-wan." he said and they heard a firm tone at that and Damon crossed his arms sternly.

"Busy with Obi-wan, or with Obi-wan and in extension, your parental mentor, is that what you're afraid of, you come to me and though I fixed it, I tell Tiana and Ry' the repairs may not hold up and needs more work done on it. Well I see I have no choice, but that breaks down twice, you're being expelled for implication. As well as lying and murder, because you decided not to report it." they heard and Tru went white at that.

"I don't see any reason to tell Ry Gaul, now that it's fixed, we better get back." they heard from Ferus Olin and he switched it off. "The way they say your name is really rude right now Ry'." he said and Ry' nodded in agreement. "Well you read it right, Ry' was the nickname I went by, that you using my nickname said more for brotherly bonding then anything else does. But you showed your loyalty to me and Mother, like you did to the girls and Obi-wan now."

"We understand each other here, but you're right I hear this, he's facing being sent home as we take a step back and try again later." he said and Siri nodded in agreement. "No kidding, after said triple team mission in dealing with Sebulba, after I saw your life as a slave. This is too much, but you're enough like me that you understand this, but you never lied to us. Obi-wan and me before after I came into your life, so why start now exactly." she said and he nodded.

"Yeah I know, and hearing him say it like that, the realization slammed into me, you're the daughter/padawan to a council member now. Before I, if we had confronted them in front of the quartet and Darra, and you told me to test them, the exchange is this." he said and turned it back on. "These guys nearly did it, committed a violation to the code so severe that if it were.." Anakin said to him, he started to say and something landed on the floor in front of them.

"The kid in the crew cut, that must be your counterpart, these three talked him into lying, but they got caught and he came forward." Siri said sternly and he nodded. "Well I never lied to you before I'm not starting now in truth and with that, here's the exchange. And after I busted them in front of you, I just scared them into thinking you forced me into the telling the truth. Only no, you know I never lie, to you, myself or just the council, I can't lie, I won't, not for them now."

"So with that in mind." he said gently to her then and turned it back on at that. "Guys, did you expect me to not over hear the conversation today. because this is enough they're going to wonder about the stern tone in my voice. And they did and Obi-wan only had to look at a single fact here in why exactly. He just figured it out in why I laid into you both for that, but I'm with him at the moment, what is that supposed to tell him."

"When he knows I'm studying lightsaber lore, but that your lightsaber is broken Tru, he knows, he told me if we don't come forward and tell the council, then he will." he said and Tru quickly said it to that. "Does he have any evidence?" he asked and Anakin shook his head as he answered him. 'Alright just admit it, you want to lie your way out of this.' He said out loud then sternly as he said it then to that remark as he answered him then.

"No, but he knows exactly how it happened." he said and Tru sighed in relief as he answered him as he said it. "Obi-wan doesn't know anything, he has theory, so let him tell the council what he thinks happened. They'll ask us: is it true, we'll say no, there's no evidence so there is no case, we'll get off with a reprimand." he said and Anakin looked at him in shock then as he looked between them then in fury.

As Luke said it in disgusted disbelief. "You got to be kidding, just 45 minutes in conversation with my father as his Jedi self, I see the him I always wanted to know. I know he would never do this right now!" he said and the council nodded. "Indeed never lied to us before and will not start now and not when your grandmother's trust. And our's, in the balance, it hangs now." Master Yaddle said to him gently at that and Lando and Han crossed their arms then at that.

'What, are you kidding me, after everything he's done for me, Master Qui-Gon, the council, Obi-wan, no, no forget about it, I won't do it.' he said saying it aloud as the entire 9 years together, before it landed on them together hit him. "I can't call Obi-wan a liar." he said and Ferus said it gently. "Anakin, we have to hang in there a little longer, then this will all be over." he said and Anakin said it slowly to that and Adi nodded in agreement.

"It's wrong you two." he said and Tru said it gently. "Anakin..." he started to say and Anakin said it firmly as Qui-Gon smiled in approval. "I'm going to tell them what happened." he said and Tru said it firmly to that as he crossed his arms. "You, alone, you, are going to decide what happens to you, to me and to Ferus, you're going to tell them." he said and Anakin said it forcefully then as he looked at him then as he felt his heart tearing at this.

"I'm not going to lie them again, Tru, I can't live with it." he said and that did it. "You can't lie to them, you can't live with this, you have to be the one to decide. Who the heck are you exactly?" Tru snapped at him and he looked at him in shock. "Guys..." he started to say and Ferus over rode him then and Soara crossed her arms. "Well that crossed a line, you always told us to stay honest, never lie and trust is the key in our relationship now."

"Destroy that trust and the bond shatters, but it can fixed, but it will take time and even then it will never be the same again, won't do it, you come first. And you always do, family comes first, over the so called friends now, Master." Leia said to that sternly then and Luke nodded sternly in agreement to her thoughts at that remark. "You're going to turn us in." Ferus snapped at him and Anakin said it. "Wait a minute." he started to say and Ferus snapped at him then.

"No you wait a minute!" he snapped and sighed as he ran his hand through his hair as he said it to him. "Well Master Olin, Master Veld, this crossed a serious line." Luke said sternly to him then. "They got to you, didn't they, Obi-wan, he told you this big speech about duty, truths and honor, well it must have been a pretty good speech. Just to make you turn your back on us, us, your friends." he said and Anakin said it sternly to that remark.

"We are Jedi, we have a duty to the truth." he said and Tru said it to him then firmly then in pained betrayal then. "And what about your duty to your friends, I got you on this team. I gave you a chance when there were other padawans, just waiting in line. I told Ferus, you wouldn't let us down, you're on the best team in the temple. You know what it's like, just to trust your partners with your life, I guess I was wrong."

"At the time now." he said and Anakin said it firmly as he looked between them at that remark as he said it then. "Darn right, you are Tru, but again it's not the Jedi way to lie to one's master right now, never lied before, I'm not starting now. The kids are spending 8 weeks living with me and their mother as we prepare for their birthdays right now." Anakin said and the council and the quartet, both age groups, nodded to the request gently at that remark.

"Look if we all come forward and tell the council, you could get get off easy."he said and they heard a pained mental tone to this. 'Just admit now, the chance to get into the program is worth too much to give up. Even if it means one of us gets hurt, you're going to lie to them.' he said finishing it and the boy scoffed at that. "We don't want to come forward, Ferus and me, we don't have a problem with this."

"But if you do then resign from the Jedi temple and leave, but don't make us pay for your guilty conscious." he told him and he looked at him in shock. "You'd put the entire team at risk just to save your necks?!" he said in disbelief then. "I agree that's out of line." Lando said to that. "To keep us together, the team, that is more important then you. And more important then me and if I was in your place I would do so without hesitation."

"But that's just me." Ferus told him and Anakin nodded. "Fine you sealed your fates now right now, if Darra had been alive right now, she's the one you're fighting." Qui-Gon said sternly to that reveal. "You're a real piece of work Olin, you realize what you did had destroyed our lives in our present, my father is dead, Obi-wan is dead, Master Yoda. I have no one to go to for that fear, in praying my niece and nephews never have the same crash I nearly did and dad had."

"But catching it just in time, with his switching areas now, it saved my family and trillions of others now." Luke said and Anakin nodded gently. "Uh huh, well like you said, we find out he's being expelled for lying and attempted implication, you kept that in reserve. Until the moment was right so we, Tiana and Damon are raking them both across the coals for this." she said and he nodded. "It was close, any closer…" he said and she nodded as she hugged him tightly then.

"We just updated it Annie, finish the rewrite to that." Darra said to him and he nodded. "Okay, with that in mind right now, we already had that talk, and I convinced them to come forward. After I finished the repairs, and decided we're doing some real surgery on that lightsaber, I came and told the quartet, before getting on the line with you, as our parental mentors. And told you, we had enough power for one last fight now." he said and they and the council nodded.

"Guys, guys listen to me, remember what we were taught, remember acceleration, what's that code for, in the darkside?" he asked and they paled. "The darkside is faster, easier and more seductive, we're tempted to turn, but this is the Sith home planet!" Tru said quickly at that. "Exactly Tru, I'm trying to save your souls, but more then souls, our friendship, but after 10 years, brothers." he said and looked between them gently.

"Ferus, Tru, is this worth destroying our friendship over, after 10 years, we come this far together now, we can finish out, but what if this is all part of the Sith's plan. To destroy us after knocking father into a coma, because frankly, to know. I need to tell them how bad the damage is, but a fast repair job, before we do some real. In surgery on that lightsaber, after we get back now?" he asked and they looked down at that remark.

"That's why I'm scared to report this, but we got 5 lightsabers and mine needs more work done on it." Tru said and Anakin nodded and he rubbed his shoulder and he smiled. "Tru trust me, I created 20, I can spot it, easily, just give me a chance to help. But like we said, it's not the Jedi way to lie to one's master, but way of the apprentice. As we stick together, work as one, honesty to our mentors, so instead of you, I tell the quartet."

"Though I do this, I have to tell him, and then you do it, so they know, this is part of the training. Not the Jedi way, not the Jedi to lie to one's master, guys, we have to tell them, but we can finish out, our team quartet for another 7 to 8 years." he said and they nodded. "Fair enough, we stay together, like I said to Andy, it's not the Jedi way to lie to one's master." Ferus said and he nodded as he answered him with a bemused smile.

"Neither is eaves dropping, but I didn't as I arrived and just told you this, but looks like Andy broke said rule and decided not to say it, let me see it." he said and he gave it to him. "I got it working enough, I thought it was ready." he said and Anakin nodded. "Not yet, it needs more work, but with my building 20 of these, if Andy fixed the flux aperture, why did he never remind you to compensate for the power boost now."

"Now to make sure the repairs will hold up, because he's in trouble." he said and Ferus crossed his arms. "Yeah there it is, the blast did blow your power circuit, you fixed that, and that get you got it 75% it just needs a few tweaks. And here and there, but once I finish and you're good to go, status check, turn it on. The blow could have created a flaw in it." he said and Tru nodded and turned it on and they heard a droning hum from it.

As he double checked it then as he heard it carefully. "You check the crystals, that noise says the crystals are cracked without a focusing crystal it could explode or short out?" he asked and they exchanged looks. "No we never dismantled it completely to check, but that could be why it's losing power!" Tru said and he nodded and put in 3 new crystals, as he turned it back on it then, and they heard a gentle humming, saying it liked the new crystals.

"And there's something I normally never hear from your lightsaber, Luke." Han said as Leia and Lando started laughing at that and he nodded with a bemused smile at that. "Our lightsabers are like extensions of us, so he's blue, I'm blue with a purplish tinge to it now. That the bond between us, his lightsaber realized his counterpart lightsaber was protecting him. And from a blow out, before we completed the mission and was humming." he said and they nodded then.

"I think it likes the updated color, if it's humming, because your's are blue bordering purple, Annie." Ferus said with a slight smile. "You needed some new crystals huh, friend?" he asked it with it smile as they heard the happy humming and Ferus smiled. "You're welcome, friend." Anakin said in response and Tru chuckled at that response gently. "So new crystals, it also needed new crystals right now." Ferus said smiling and Anakin nodded.

"Alright cracked crystals, damaged power circuit that just got fixed, power boosted and got adjustment to the flux aperture, that's all of it." he said and Tru nodded gently as he wrote that down. "Alright Andy made an adjustment to the flux aperture, I recharged the power cell, and you're reminding me to make an adjustment to the flux aperture. To compensate for the recent boost and you just replaced the crystals for me too."

"That's all of it in repairs jobs on a mission, how's the head exactly, you doing okay?" he asked and Anakin nodded. "Slight headache, but not bad enough I need to stop, I just took some painkiller for that right now, I been thinking here. Of getting back in touch with the Senator, that's Padme, before the old man assigns us to protecting her. As for this, I think we just found the problem: crystals." he said and Tru nodded gently then.

"That's more like it, that says the old crystals were damaged and needed to be replaced, so the blast destroyed the power circuit. I just replaced that and the blast put too much stress on the crystals and cracked them. And it's because there's a line in these, they're close to shattering and you just fixed that." Tru said and he checked the level and saw it hold a steady 85% power and Anakin nodded smiling as he finished that then.

"That should hold it for a bit, but until I finish the repairs, don't over use it, till we get home, and I can fix it completely Tru. But like we both know Andy created a boost in the power cell, but it needs an adjustment to the flux aperture. To compensate for the recharge, the crystals needed to be exchanged and wiring adjusted, guys. But the blast over loaded the circuits like you figured." he said and they both smiled in relief then.

"You're 85% full power, that's plenty till we finish the job, but you finished half the repairs and I did the other half, and once back home we finish it now." he said and Tru nodded gently to him at the news. "Agreed, we can fix this together, after we have Tolan look at it, but why, why did Andy never come forward about this. I'm not liking this one bit, but then you're my best friend here, so of course, you're helping me."

"What we got here exactly, Annie?" Ferus asked and he explained it. "Andy did the power boost, after fixing the aperture, but I think the blast disrupted it. That's the connection between your power cell and the flux aperture. The blast also put enough strain on the crystals they cracked, and needed to be replaced now. I just took care of that and you fixed the wiring, all we got to do is further recharge and adjustment."

"As the blast also damaged the old crystals, I need to switch them out and fix the flux aperture, but otherwise you're good, till I fix it." he said and they nodded, as he finished the repair work and snapped it back together. "Alright you're good, but take it easy on it, till we finish it, as the more in battle and the faster it drains." he said and Tru nodded as he put it on his belt. "Alright tell the trio, what you told me." Ferus said and he nodded.

"Okay, okay, I can tell them and we go from there, but you still have to tell the quartet it could break down." Anakin said and he sighed. "Graduating early is no big deal, we got 8 years left, but frankly, it's a bit lonely on our own, we had each other. On missions as the quartet worked things out, but till you take on a traveling companion. Or padawan, it's a bit lonely till then, so what's the rush." he said and they looked down.

And at that, now realizing they forgot that part. "Oops, yeah you're right, why rush graduating right now exactly we been together so long. That we had each other on missions together: we're best friends, brothers, once graduated. Then we're on our own till we take on a padawan, okay you win right now, but now what?" Ferus asked and he explained that as they went into a triangle line of defense then gently at that.

"Guys, listen to me, unlike their version right now, who was force sensitive, our Xanatos is using a blaster. Our version of him in truth, he's an NFS, he doesn't realize we can switch systems on a blaster. From kill to stun, so if Andy decides to not speak up, we can insure whoever would have been here. In getting shot is only knocked unconscious, not killed." he said and Ferus lifted his head in shock to the news in relief.

"But Master is running a test, I told him, but he's testing Andy, in whether or not he speaks up, but 6 years." he said and they nodded. "Alright, alright, I'll tell him, but we stick it out together, and it goes as he shoots. I'm switching the blaster to maximum stun, she gets knocked unconscious, but she's okay. But Andy's not separating us, not that easily here.." Tru told him and he nodded smiling and they went into a 3-way hug then.

"Old man huh, nice wording, you intended to ask permission to go see Padme, so we can settle back in with her, before the assassination attempts getting started." Obi-wan said gently and he nodded. "I figured you wouldn't mind if I told you this first, instead of going behind your back, I been seeing her for 10 months, before the assassination attempts. And we got back in with her, and made friends her fellow senators and we here are." he said and Mace and Obi-wan nodded.

"There's the exchange Master Windu, but that's a reversal for Andy, we were trying to figure out how to explain this. And to the quartet and our parents, you, without it grounding us for two months now, but Andy never said anything. Got stuck in a force trap, and we pretended that, but mentally I switched the blaster here. And to stun at maximum, knocking her into suspended animation, in the fight here at the moment now." Anakin said and Mace nodded in relief to that.

"Alright there we go, go on that right now." Obi-wan said and he nodded."Master, guys, the blast did some damage to his lightsaber I had to fix, I took care of it. "But Obi-wan, Andy fixed the flux aperture, before we left, and they finished the recharge. And before I told Tru to adjust the flux aperture, to compensate." he said and the trio exchanged looks. "Odd, why didn't Andy tell him, if he nearly walked in on them to do that?" Soara asked and he nodded gently.

"I'm not entirely sure, but I'm going to find out, if she still goes in battle, and I got to risk that headache getting worse." he said and she nodded. "It starts getting worse I want to know right away, padawan." she said and he nodded. "Darra, let me look at your arm." he said and she exposed her lower arm and he nodded as he did a field dressing and wrapped it. "That gets worse, tell me." he said and she nodded as she hugged him tightly.

"Leader of the team in padawans, overly protective." she said smiling and he smiled and the trio chuckled at that "You're my entire world Darra, what do you expect, one girl out of the four of us, to the guys and me, you're our entire world. Our job to protect you here, but I came up with a foolproof way to head off a more then fatal injury. Omega never gained his father's force abilities, if he carries a blaster, so a fast switch on it."

"I'll tell them, but the blast broke off a piece of his hilt, and put enough strain on the crystals causing them to crack, I switched out his with 3 of my back ups. So the lightsaber has a faint purplish glow to the blue now, but I need to check it. That's the flux aperture and compensate for the recharge, but I'll finish the repairs. When we get back, but I told him minimum use is best till we get back." he said and they all nodded.

"Thank you for the update." Obi-wan said gently to him. "We decided though chosen, we're not ready to just separate this soon, but I punched through. In what the planet was trying to do to us, but we been together for 10 years, 6 of the 10 as team mates. That why graduate this soon, once a knight it's lonely without someone either age to talk to now, we may have gotten into the program, but no." he said and they smiled then.

"Yes it was Master, but to me it was never mind my own health, protecting my team was what mattered. As only by luck did I was prevent the shot from killing her, as the blaster was at maximum stun. As the shrapnel that hit her, I realized, nicked a vein, and we never saw it, before I took care of wrapping it."

Before the blow to the head caught up with me and I felt like I did after we stepped. That's into the water spring, like Father did after ending up in the water supply system. "But the blast disrupted the connection and fusing and we had to make an adjustment, but all in all we got it up 95% full power and use. Before it decided to go right as Omega fired, and I thrust my lightsaber in place of his, blocked the first shot. But the second bounced off my lightsaber and hit her, but thankfully here now. Is we switched settings on his blaster from kill to stun, at maximum." he said and they nodded to him.

"She's going to be fine, but turns out that your thoughts were right, the blast hit an artery in her arm. And rather then a vein, so she's in medical recovery Winna and Minga while heal the damage. It could have been a lot worse if you never made that fast decision, we're proud of you." Kit said and he nodded. "Fast case of strategy, and upstaged him, before arresting Zan Arbor, again, I think that's why she was there."

"She was intending to go back to said experiments with genetics, and combined with Omega, he's playing the part of Ona Nobis here. So preventing it, as Master took him out and I arrested her." he said and they nodded in approval. "So you prevented her from getting her hands on one of the 8 of you by switching settings, if her lab. Now has the only anti-toxin for that neurotoxin she used already?" Adi said and he nodded gently then.

And for the second time in 22 years and us this far out of reach, she could be dead by the time. We get back, I wasn't having it, making sure that instead gone, whoever was injured. And put into an MIC, before they killed her by anemia, or worse." he said and she nodded.

"That was some very quick thinking to save her life, and by the boys and yourself, Anakin, that was also very wise in telling us beforehand, that you did a repair job. And enough now it could be of use till it caved finally." Mace said gently and he nodded. "Yes Master, we decided though in the program, we want to stick together Master. And for a while longer now, not ready to let go and separate." he said and the 11 nodded gently.

"We understand and that's fine right now." she said and he nodded. "Master with the crisis over Omega finished finally, and Zan Arbor back in jail now. That, with permission, sooner or later, he's going to decide to have us be her personal protection. With your approval, I think it's time I went to see her, she's a senator now, and we're adults now." he said and the council smiled knowingly at that as Mace answered him gently.

"Alright you can go see her, as she gets used to seeing you like this now." Mace said smiling gently and he bowed to him at that. "Eight months sooner then he expected that by the time we reached what we been together. And who knows how long now, as we got used to this now, but at this age now. It's a constant case of trouble here, and frankly I'm in no rush to graduate." he said and Mace nodded and they ended it at that.

"You think Andy was trying to get Ferus in trouble?" Adi asked and he sighed. "Frankly I'm not sure I even know him anymore Mother, really, for 8 years. Since you trained us, it's when I looked at him now, I saw myself, we were identical. In everything and now, now he's spending 70% of time with the Chancellor. And you can tell us apart, in more then just colors, but the jumpsuit." he said and Mace nodded in understanding then.

"But the day he chooses that choice, in turning on everything we are, what you trained me to be, if something happens to mom. That is the day I lost my biological family, and I'm not only an orphan, but an only child. That if he allows the darkness to warp his mind, I stayed strong, if there's a power to save lives, I use that to save her now. "Brother you never have to worry, though married, I'm still your baby brother, that will never change." Anakin said and he looked down with a smile as he felt his remark warm his heart. "I love you too Annie, you are my brother, I love you, the loyalty to me, you seeing what changed me and fixing it, you remember what Master said. You proved it, and that said partnership, team loyalty more then anything." he said and Anakin nodded.

"I'll be right out soon, brother, I have to talk to the council, but if you want to stay at my side that's fine, I don't mind at all, a while longer is fine, until you're ready to let go." he said and Anakin nodded. "You may go Anakin, and thank you for your report, take your time and we can do you three one by one, but send your twin in please. I'd like to hear here what he has to say here." Yarael said and he nodded as he bowed to him then.

"Hey buddy, you okay, is she okay, I told them everything here?" Anakin asked and he nodded. "Your idea of switching settings, before the lightsaber shorted out worked perfectly here, Annie. She got knocked into a coma, but Winna said it's going to take 18 months to 3 years. Just to heal the damage done by the blaster, but we got off easy, but the program got cancelled right now." he said and Anakin nodded in relief then.

"Well that's a relief, we're not separating too soon right now, but…., no, no, Ferus you don't have to leave, we pulled it off, she's going to be okay." he said and he straightened. "Annie we got lucky, what if that happens again, this time in team duo's?" Ferus said gently and he sighed. "Don't go, we been together 10 years, don't let this push you into leaving." he said, gripping his arm and he looked down and they exchanged looks then gently.

"Graduation jitters is that it, you're taking a sabbatical, then coming back?" he asked and he nodded. "Stronger together then, my brother." he said and they nodded. "Stronger together always." he said in response and they went into a 3-way hug then. "I'm next, and I'll tell them, I'm taking a few years off, then coming home." he said and he nodded gently at that. "Our stories match that's all the matters." he said and he nodded gently.

"Best go together though actually, we need to confirm your theory." Ferus said and he nodded they headed for Tolan Ling. "Master, we need a fast confirmation to what Annie told us was the problem on my lightsaber." he said and Tolan nodded as he took it and checked it over. "You had your theory correct Annie, the damage done is exactly as you said, in addition to the crystals needing to be replaced, it needed an adjustment."

"To the wiring and the flux aperture, to compensate for the power boost right now, after you fixed it, boys, nice repair job, and maneuver as Omega is an NFS, Annie." he said and they nodded. "Going over the repairs, I heard a droning noise coming from the middle of it, switched crystals and it started humming." he said and Tolan nodded. "I see, well droning means the blow to them caused them to crack and lose their focus."

"Humming means the focus is back in place, and their back to their focusing, but what you considered you read it out exactly, after recharging it. That you needed to compensate for the boost by adjustment of the flux aperture. Or the repairs won't hold up now, but that decision to check the lightsaber was a perfect one now. As was checking the crystals to see if they're fractured or not." he said and Anakin nodded then.

"The adjustment was exactly as you said here Annie, the wire fusing needed a slight adjustment." he said and Anakin crossed his arms. "Andy fixed the flux aperture, but after the guys and I recharged it, I reminded Tru the light adjustment to the flux aperture. To compensate for the boost, after swapping crystals." he said and he nodded. "That was a good thing you did, because it got you up 90%." he said and they exchanged looks then.

"So my doing and finishing all the repairs they were named off exactly as I said, but Andy fixed the flux aperture, before we left. Before Ferus recharged the cell, till I reminded Tru, that he had to adjust the flux aperture. Just to compensate for the boosted power." he said and Tolan nodded. "I see where you're going with this, but he could have forgot, and that was a good idea in crystals." he said gently and he nodded.

"If that was a good idea, and if he was listening in on our conversation, then why didn't Andy remind me of this. Reminding me here to check the crystals, he saw my hilt damaged, after were on the ship. But Annie immediately checked after Andy fixed the flux aperture, before we left. As Annie reminded me to do that and we took care of it, before going back into battle." Tru said and Anakin and Ferus nodded in agreement then.

"Yeah that's strange alright, he either forgot to tell you, or worse, till I did it for him and made sure to compensate for the power boost right now." Anakin said and Ferus nodded. "Yeah you did what he forgot to do, and came up with a fool proof way to prevent a loss, but she's in a coma, I'm thinking of sabbatical. So just you of the 4 of us now, but I need a few years break, then we'll finish out together guys, I get it."

"But this is a different version to Obi-wan's decision, I'll keep in touch, I promise, just give the word when you need me, I'll return immediately." he said and the duo nodded. "Yeah just us for now, but I can't help but think his personality swap is because he's been hanging around with Palpatine too much. If I didn't know any better, Palpatine is a grandfatherly version to Xanatos." he said and Qui-Gon nodded as Obi-wan winced then.
