J & N Superstar Saga Chapter 4

Deadly Imperialdramon

J and N continue their climb up Cappy Mountain to reach the summit, their main objective is to get some Cappy Blocks for the Huldra Brothers to make weapon hand changers for them, secondary was to find out what happened to Kaepora Gaebora a being who helps carry the people of Cappy Village to the summit.

"Oh hey a switch" N said point to it and pulls it, nothing seems to happen but they hear above them a water fountain begin running.

"Well, that is handy" J said nodding.

They get into more fights with the enemies here and found a familiar enemy among the encounters, an Agumon which since they have had prior experience with, they easily handled it.

"Didn't think we'd run into a Sol Kingdom race here." J said.

"It make sense, I mean Digimon and Pokemon aren't solely native to the Sol Kingdom so expect to see some of those faces in Dreamland I bet" Uzi said on the phone.

"Best to keep our guard up then." N said smiling and J nods in agreement.

The two kept moving fighting their way though the Mettaurs, Gabons and Agumons as they climbed up to that fountain, they saw the burning Cappy statue they need to use it on and after J gets the water needed they put out the fire and make another small tornado to help boost the Spin Jump.

They keep progressing and N sees a sign saying the Summit was ahead, but the whirlwinds were getting tricky now as some of them were moving making timing crucial.

"Just a little further J, I think once we're past this last area we'll make it to the top." N said.

"I hope so, the more time we're here the further along Salem's plans move." J said nodding as they spin jump.

They soon make the final spin jumps and make it to the ledge with the stairs that lead up to the summit and climb them.

They reach the top and look around, they see a lake with some stones in making a bridge to the centre, there was even a telescope allowing to survey the rest of the Dreamland region. But what caught J and N's attention was at the centre of the lake, a large black egg with gold, red and white highlights and sitting on the egg was a large brown owl who was asleep.

N whispered he looks near the egg a shiny rock "J look, that must a Cappy Block."

"Let's grab it" J said going to the egg carefully and picks it up but it sleps from her hand and bounces.

"Foooools!" The owl yells out waking up. "What're you playing around with that for? That's a really rare stone! It's called a Cappy Block! And I'll tell you anyone who tries to throw a Cappy Block down the mountain is a theif in my book!"

"Woah now hold on a minute, let's not get a head of ourselves." J said trying to calm the owl down "What is you name sir.

The owl calms down and moves closer and said "Huh? My name? Oh…right! I'm called Kaepora Gaebora!"

"I see, well you should know the people of Cappy Village are really worried about you since you never came back." J told him with N nodding.

"…What's that? The townsfolk are all worried about me? Really? Well I didn't mean to make them worry" Kaepora Gaebora said. "See, here is what happened: I saw Metaknight and followed him up here…And then I saw this huge egg has appeared! I was shocked! I was speechless! Which is very rare for me! So anyway, I've just been here keeping this poor egg warm ever since! Yup, that's the deal."

"Kind of resembles a Digimon egg, based on the images I've seen in books." N said looking at the egg.

"Regardless, I think something will hatch out of it pretty soon! That's what happens with eggs!" Kaepora Gaebora said nodding. Soon the area shakes as the egg begins shaking and the owl flies off it "Oh! It's here! It's time! Oh, wow! It's about to hatch! I can't take the suspense!"

The egg hatches and out emerges a blue dragon like creature with red wings and face mask in black and gold armour. It roars with enough force it sends the Cappy Block into the lake and it goes over the waterfall, conviniatly it ends up fall into the chimney of Brok and Sindri's house.

"Ack! Well, THAT'S a shock! Talk about one crazy egg!" Kaepora Gaebora said in shock.

"Becareful it's an Imperialdramon in dragon mode!" N called out

Imperialdramon turns and fires a positronic energy blast at Kaepora Gaebora knocking the owl away.

"Whaaaaaat!" Kaepora Gaebora cries out as he falls into he clouds in the distance.

Imperialdramon turns his attention to the drones and roars in anger. It jumps out of the egg and lands opposite them.

"Well, looks like we're going to have to fight this thing!" J said readying her claws.

"Yeah, if these thing rampages down the mountain, the village will be in danger." N said nervous ready to fight.

J opens the fight doing her standard jump and slash attack dealing some good damage to Imperildramon. Imprerialdramon in anger fires a Poistron Laser at N who manages to dodge the attack and then another at J who gets hit.

"Ow!" J winces as that really hurt.

"No way am I letting you hurt my friend like that" N said jumping and attacking Imperialdramon with the jump and slash.

"Let's do it N!" J said as they perform Splash Duo but they messed it up as J overshoot the second jump but did do some decent damage to Imperidramon.

Imperialdramon looked hurt but roars firing a Poistron Laser at both of the drones who dodge the attacks. N does the Jump attack again for some damage and J on her turn tries to redo the Splash Duo attack and succeds in the attack doing major damage..

The dragon Digimon in anger stomps a foot and makes a large Cappy Block land and jumps on it like a platform to get closer to the drones and proceeds to fire some Poistron Lasers at the two, N was the only one to get hit. Imperidramon jumps off it.

"Let's get rid of that stone first!" N said and has them do Bounce Duo to destroy the stone.

"Now let's finish this before he gets another one!" J said doing Splash Duo a third time and succeed in dealing major damage.

Imperidramon roars in annoyance as it transforms and now resembled a draconic knight, it was still Imperialdramon but now in Fighter Mode. It then fires from an arm cannon the Poistron Laser at them both but they dodge, however it fired a third shot so they can tell it was getting desperate.

"Here we go Bounce Duo coming at you Imperiadramon!" N said as they perform the move this time on the boss monster and deal some damage to the dragon knight. Imperidramon again uses the Poistron Laser attack firing at them three times and J and N dodges the attacks.

"I am tell we're close N! Keep the pressure on it." J said as she has them do Splash Duo but she again messes up but does some decent damage. N then has them do Bounce Duo on the Digimon successfully to deal some big damage.

"Hmmm…" N said thinking for a moment.

"Huh? N what is it?" J asked him.

"I think I come up with a way to make Bounce Duo stronger, it's like this…" N said and explained it to J.

"I see, that actually sounds like a great idea, let's implement it." J said nodding as the two now were now able to perform Super Bounce Duo.

Imperialdramon again uses Poistron Laser at them three times, one shot was able to hit J for some good damage to her, but she growls and sees she has enough Energon energy for one more Splash Duo.

"Best make this count." J said and performs the attack with N but messeup damaging Imperidramon a bit. But it was enough.

Imperidramon roars out in anger as he explodes and collapeses onto the ground it dropping the Imperial Badge for the drones to claim.

"We did it!" N cheered

"Yeah we did" J said with a nod "But it wasn't easy. We have to be sure to be battle ready as our foes will only get stronger from here." N nods understanding.

"Guys we're picking up some strong readings from that Imperidramn" V said.

The two look and see the Digimon knight glow and shrink down and when the light fades they see standing in the Digmon's place was a blue puffball in a white mask, yellow eyes and a blue cape wielding a golden sword.

"I see." The puffball knight said looking to the two "Cheers to your metallic skins."

"Uh…who are you?" J asked.

Just then Kaepora Gaebora returns and said to them in awe "Th-this knight looking being is none other then Metaknight! What happened to you?!"

"Well, I guess you could refer to it as an accident." Metaknight explained. "As I was investigating events throughout Dreamland for this top secret mission I'm on…I suddenly encounted Salem and her vile underling, Cyn, here on this mountain…" He turns away and looks at his hand clenching it "By the time I realized who those fiends were, it was too late…They transformed me into THAT and shut me inside the egg." He then looks to J and N "Now why are two heroes of the Sol Kingdom here?"

"We actually have a common enemy." J explained "Salem and Cyn stole Blaze's voice."

"Is that so? Princess Blaze's voice has been stolen?" Metaknight said thinking his cape then turns to wings and he said "I wouldn't worry about Princess Blaze. I'm quite sure she'll be fine. Regardless, we should chase after Salem!"

"Right, though we will have to take the long way, flight systems are out." N said.

"That is fine, I am sure you both will be capable of handling the lands dangers." Metaknight said nodding "I want you to visit King Dedede in Dreamland Castle once you climb down the mountain. It might be that Salem's next target is Dreamland Castle! I'd bet my sword on that being the case." He then pulls something out "Oh and take this from me as thanks for helping me out."

He tosses it down and it was revealed to be an identical mask to his own, N catches it "Wow…so cool!"

"Hmmm yes I think it goes well with your pilots look" Metaknight said nodding. "But that mask, if you show it at Dreamland Castle, they'll permit you to enter! And with that I must get back to my mission! Hopefully we'll meet again!" He then flies off.

"He is so amazing!" N said in awe

"Oh geez…" J said rolling her eyes.

A while later, Kaepora Gaebora helps fly J and N down back to Cappy Village and lands on his nest, many of the townfolk were happy to see him back and cheered.

"So…what are you guys going to do now?" Kaepora Gaebora asked the drones.

"We're going to see the Huldra Brothers first and then find a way to get down the mountain." J said thinking.

"Yeah but finds for the lift" N said.

The two drones then head back to Brok and Sindri's house and when they enter they are surprised to see them with the Cappy Block.

"Well, you metal heads came at the right time!" Brok said to them. "Just now a Cappy Block fell down in the waterfall!"

"And check this out: we'll use it to make the ultimate weapon changer!" Sindri said smiling.

The two begin working, Brok hammering away while Sindri provides the heat and the stone form s into some circle bracelets one on the anvil.

"Whoo…Man does it feel good to be making weapons again after such long break!" Brock said wiping his brow.

"In fact, it felt so good we went ahead and made these two weapon changers with a little added feature to include some gem slots to other abilities can be added to them." Sindri said with a smile.

"Look at that craftmanship! POW! Now you're playing with power!" Brok said chuckling.

"True, now these are all yours!" Sindri said with a nod to the drones.

"Thank you" N said as he and J take thme and equip them, they then use it to change there hands, N now had a Chainsaw hand and J a sword hand.

"I am sure you know how to use those things?" Brok asked.

"We do, again thank you" J said with a nod. "Come on N, let's test these out."

"You got it J." N said smiling.

The two then leave heading for the rock blocking their path.

Well now that they have their weapon changers which are the substitute the hammers the journey continues. I will admit it was fun to adapt Imperialdramon into the boss fight and using it changing it's modes for the stages.
