Getaway
A/N: Sorry for the slight delay in chapter update. The FF site has been having some problems I think. Thank you again for the awesome reviews! Enjoy this one.
"Look, they do room-service. We could get breakfast delivered right to the door." AJ smiled excitedly, showing Punk the room-service menu which she'd noticed as soon as they'd checked into their room.
"You've never ordered room-service?" Punk smiled, amused by her excitement as he dumped his bag on the bed.
"I've never stayed in a hotel." AJ corrected as Punk turned to her.
"What?" Punk shook his head.
"Me and my aunt never took trips anywhere. Money was always tight." AJ shrugged.
"What about you and Lyla?" He asked.
"No." AJ shook her head, "We always spoke about going on a trip somewhere, but we've always been so busy with the coffee shop. Never got round to it."
"So this is your first time staying in a hotel?" Punk asked.
"Yeah." AJ laughed, equally amused at this surprise, "Certainly my first time at a hotel with a man." She smirked.
"You should have said. I would have drove further to get somewhere a little nicer." He said.
"What? This place is gorgeous. It has a waterfall in the reception." AJ scoffed, "And look at the bath." She wandered over to the bathroom, opening the double doors and staring at the huge bathtub longingly, "This is perfect." She turned back to him with a smile.
After they closed their coffee shops up at 5pm, they immediately hit the road and drove for a few hours until they found a hotel that looked worth spending the night in. Punk only now wished he'd planned it better now that he knew this was her first night in a hotel.
"You think the girls will be alright without you for a day?" Punk asked curiously whilst AJ began going through her bag to take out her clothes.
"Yeah, they'll be fine. I've left them alone before. Lyla is there." AJ shrugged, not worried in the slightest, "What about the boys?" She smiled a little.
"I think they'll be alright." Punk nodded, semi-confidently.
"Convince me more." AJ chuckled.
"They're good at the job. And honestly? Daryl is good at controlling a situation. I have full confidence in them." Punk nodded, "Anyway… my customer intake has gone down by about 80%, so it's not like they're gonna be rushed off their feet."
"What do you mean?" AJ looked across at him.
"We were really dead today. Barely had any customers." Punk said, "I think it's probably to do with what happened with Luke. The town seems like it frowns upon that sort of behaviour." He rolled his eyes.
"They'll be back in no time." AJ shook her head, "I wouldn't worry too much."
"It's a lot of money to be losing out on." Punk said, "It's worrying me a little."
"I've went through quiet spells at the coffee shop, too." AJ said, trying to reassure him, "About a year after we opened, we had a resident rat round the side of our shop, near the trash cans."
"Ok, gross." Punk cringed.
"Yeah. Well, word got out about it and so many people stopped coming to our shop. As if the rat was the one baking the cakes." She rolled her eyes, "But they only stopped coming for about three days, then they were back as if nothing happened. They just like to make statements."
"They're a weird bunch." Punk nodded, "What happened to the rat?" Punk asked curiously, "Did you kill it?"
"No, I did not." AJ said with horror, "He disappeared on his own." She shrugged, "Haven't seen him since."
"You probably should have called Pest control." Punk said.
"For them to come out and put poison down to give it a slow, painful death? No." AJ shook her head, "Have you never even watched Ratatouille?" She shook her head.
"What's that?" Punk asked with confusion.
"You have so much to learn." AJ sighed as Punk just chuckled.
They quickly unpacked their bags and got ready to go downstairs to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Punk, of course, was ready way before AJ was, and so he sat on the sofa in the room reading the room-service menu, wondering what he'd order for breakfast, whilst he waited on her.
"Ok. I'm ready." AJ smiled, walking out of the bathroom.
Punk looked up from the menu, smiling as he looked at what he knew in his heart was the most beautiful woman in the world. She had a grey jumper on, paired with a grey plaid skirt and some black boots. And that hair, silky and shiny, straightened all the way down her back.
"You look…" Punk stood up, watching her do a 360 turn as he chuckled, "Yeah, you look good." Punk nodded as she smiled.
"You should see what I have on underneath." She smirked, heading over to the room door as Punk ran his hand through his hair, trying to keep his composure.
"We could just… skip dinner." He shrugged, losing his composure and self-respect all at once.
"I'm hungry." AJ shook her head with a smile, opening the room door, "Come on." She said as he nodded, walking over to her and leaving the room with her, placing his hand at the small of her back as they walked down the corridor to the elevator.
They arrived at the restaurant and were seated at a table near the window which had a view of the hotel gardens, all lit up and looking enchanted as ever.
At first AJ wasn't sure about going away for the night, especially when they'd just gotten over their little blip from after the Fair, but now she realised it was perhaps exactly what they needed. To get away from all the noise and take a break.
"It's so beautiful out there." She smiled, looking out the window.
"Yeah. Beautiful." Punk nodded, too busy looking at her. He hadn't been able to stop looking since she came out of the bathroom before they left the room.
"I bet it would be really fun to have a hotel." She nodded, "You'd meet so many different people. From all over the world." She said, turning away from the window and looking at him, noticing he was already staring at her.
"Maybe that's your next career move." Punk smiled, "The Brewberry Hotel."
"I don't think so. I'm very happy with what I have." AJ assured him.
"You see yourself living there forever?" Punk asked her curiously whilst they lifted the menus.
"Forever? That feels like a pretty serious commitment." AJ said, "But… I can't imagine going anywhere else." She admitted, "What about you?" She asked, looking over her menu at him.
"Yeah, I could see myself settling down there." Punk nodded.
"I thought settling down wasn't in the cards for you?" She asked curiously, "Or did that just apply to Sophie?" She said quietly, looking back to her menu.
"It's applied to everyone that isn't you." Punk nodded seriously as she looked back at him, feeling butterflies in her stomach.
"Good. Then I'm not wasting my time here." She replied calmly as he chuckled to himself, looking back at his menu. It was subtle but the message was clear from both of them. This wasn't just a fling or a summer romance. This was serious for both of them.
"Having vanilla ice-cream reminds me of my aunt." AJ smiled, biting into a spoonful of the ice-cream she'd ordered for dessert.
"Why?" Punk asked curiously.
"Whenever I was sick as a kid, she'd let me just eat ice-cream for dinner with lots of sprinkles." AJ nodded.
"She never had any of her own kids or got married?" Punk asked.
"No. She was way more interested in seeing the world. And she had me… she always said I was the only kid she ever needed." AJ smiled.
"Where is she right now?" Punk asked.
"She's in Japan right now." AJ nodded, "Sent me an email a few days ago."
"An email?" Punk smiled.
"Yeah, she's not great with her phone. She grew up in the era of computers. She takes her laptop everywhere." She scoffed.
"How long does she stay with you at Christmas?" He asked her, taking his spoon and stealing some of her ice-cream as she smiled.
"Normally two weeks." AJ said, "I think it's about the only time she slows down her life and rests. She's just always so busy. Always on the move."
"She sounds great." Punk nodded.
"She'd like you." AJ said, "You both sort of the same stupid sense of humour." She shook her head.
"Stupid?" Punk gasped, placing his hand on his chest with offence.
"Yes." AJ chuckled, "Her English isn't very good, though. We spoke in Spanish when I was growing up. Wasn't until I went to high school that I realised I should probably stick to English." She said.
"You were told to speak English?" Punk asked.
"Pretty much." AJ nodded, "I was lucky to go to a diverse school, though. I never felt out of place for being Puerto Rican. I know a lot of kids don't have that growing up." She said.
"So you liked school? You were a popular girl?" He smirked.
"No, more like on the school's academic bowl team." AJ corrected as Punk smiled, "Not that surprising, huh?"
"Not really." He admitted, "Sounds like you were just as big a loser as me." He nodded.
"I don't know. You sounded like a bit more of a loser." AJ teased.
"You're probably right." Punk chuckled.
"What did your parents think about you becoming a lawyer?" She asked curiously, whilst still giving most of her attention to her ice-cream.
"My dad didn't live to see me become one." Punk said, "And my mom didn't show any interest in anything I did."
"Why?" AJ shook her head.
"I don't know. Every bit of attention she had to give… it all went to my brother." Punk said, "I've made peace with it. As a teenager I would act out. Try and call her out on it. But it only made it worse."
"Did you make up with her before she died?" She asked.
"No." Punk shook his head, "Last time I talked to her was on the phone. She was asking me advice on some medical bill she had. Anytime she contacted me it was just to get something." He shrugged.
"I'm sorry. That must have been really tough growing up." She sighed, "I couldn't imagine having a kid and treating them like that."
"Spaceboy." Punk nodded.
"What?" She looked across at him with confusion.
"Spaceboy." He said, turning his wrist around to show her the tattoo as she leaned forward to look at it, "Never felt like I belonged in the family I was brought into. Felt like an alien." He nodded.
"You'd think I'd know all your tattoos by now." She smiled, "I like that one." She nodded, taking his hand in hers and squeezing it.
"I predict you'll get a tattoo one day." Punk nodded as she rolled her eyes.
"No." AJ shook her head.
"It's gonna happen." Punk hummed, "I'll take you for one."
"No, thank you. I have no reason to get one." She insisted.
"There's nothing you feel so passionate about in life that you want to make sure it's imprinted on you forever?" He asked her.
"What? Like a bowl or ramen?" AJ raised a brow.
"I'm very passionate about ramen." Punk shrugged.
"Maybe I'd consider getting a tattoo of the date we opened the coffee shop." AJ said, "Maybe." She emphasised, "Because it's probably the most meaningful thing I've done. And will ever do." She said.
"I think that's a pretty great idea." Punk nodded.
"I think we should get the cheque now." AJ smiled, sliding her empty ice-cream dish over, very much craving something a little sweeter now, with a little less eyes around them.
"I think we should too." Punk nodded.
They paid for their dinner and headed up to their room for the night, feeling happy and warm after a romantic dinner and endless chatting. Time just seemed to fly by whenever they were in the depths of conversation. It was like nothing they'd experienced before with someone. And although they were desperate to get to this part of the night when they could close the hotel room door over, spending time with one another over some dinner was just as thrilling and wonderful.
"I'm going to take the biggest bubble bath in the morning." AJ smiled excitedly, walking into their hotel room and dropping her purse down on the sofa.
"Am I invited?" Punk smiled, taking his jacket off and sitting it over the chair.
"You like bubble baths?" She asked, sitting down on the sofa to unzip her boots.
"I like seeing you naked." Punk shrugged as she chuckled.
"You like seeing me naked?" She smiled in a teasing voice, getting up from the sofa and walking towards him.
"It's honestly my favourite thing." He nodded.
"Did you ever… picture me naked? Before we got together?" She asked, running a fingertip down his chest, slightly pushing him backwards towards the bed.
"What do you think?" He whispered, "Ever since I came over to your apartment that first time… you were in your pyjamas. Nipples staring me right in the face." He nodded as she chuckled.
"Sit down." She smirked, nudging him backwards a little as he sat down on the end of the bed, watching her take a few steps back and slowly begin to unzip her skirt at the side.
"You know I like doing that." He said, desperately wanting to be the one to take her clothes from her body.
"You can just watch." She said seductively, pushing her skirt down her toned legs, stepping out of it as it dropped to the floor.
"I'm watching." Punk assured her, watching as she took her jumper off, throwing it over on the floor. He knew his heart rate had definitely spiked, seeing her standing there in a very attractive, black lacy teddy.
"You like?" She smiled, doing a 360 turn very slowly to let him see all of her as he watched closely, his eyes almost popping out of his head. He was still surprised at how much his need grew for her every day.
"Why don't you come a little closer?" He suggested as she smiled, walking further towards him, standing in between his legs as he placed his hands on her hips.
"I bought it just for you." She smirked, looking down at him as he stared up at her longingly.
"Give me your mouth." He whispered as she smiled, leaning down and kissing him softly at first and then more passionately, feeling his hands lacing through her long hair and all around her body, moaning into his mouth when she felt him squeeze her breasts through the lacy material.
"You want my mouth?" She pulled back from the kiss, staring down at him as he nodded right away.
She dropped down onto her knees, undoing his jeans and pulling them down with his boxers as he lifted his hips to help her get them past his thighs.
Once discarded them carelessly along with her own clothes on the floor, she turned her attention to his already hardening length, spitting on her hand and wrapping it around him, stroking him up and down and watching him as his face relaxed and he moaned with pleasure.
She continued stroking him up and down with her hands, enjoying the look on his face as she done so. She then switched her hands for her mouth, sucking on the tip of him at first until eventually taking him in further, to the point where several times she felt him hit the back of her throat.
"Fuck." Punk moaned, not being able to help bury his hand in her scalp, feeling her head move up and down. He was in heaven with the feel of her mouth around him. Warm, wet and velvety, sending shivers down his spine.
AJ enjoyed the way he sometimes lost a little control, pushing her head down a little too far. It only thrilled her to know how much he wanted her and how much pleasure he was getting from her actions. She never thought she'd trust someone this much to let them bring this side of her out.
"Fucking hell." Punk muttered quietly, looking down at her as she stared up at him with those huge brown eyes, all whilst having him fully in her mouth. It was enough to almost make him lose it.
"You can come if you want." AJ chuckled, switching from her mouth to her hand, noticing he was doing his best not to lose it just yet.
"I'd rather come inside you." He assured her, "Come here." He nodded, quickly stripping his t-shirt off whilst she got up from her knees, only to have him immediately pick her up and place her in the centre of the bed. She always secretly loved how effortlessly he lifted her up, so much so that it always made her giggle.
He pulled her panties down her legs, throwing them onto the floor, leaving her in just the lacy teddy on her top half.
She was already parting her legs as he kissed down her body and buried his head between her thighs, using his tongue to lap up her wetness and tease her clit whilst she moaned and grabbed the bed sheets into her fists.
Anytime he went down on her she just couldn't believe the feelings it stirred up inside of her. She imagined it was similar to taking drugs. Nothing but pleasure and ecstasy, her head going fuzzy with every caress of his mouth against her nerves.
"That feels so good." AJ moaned, lifting her hips a little whilst pushing his head further into her, the exact same way he had done whilst she was going down on him. The need was just too strong.
"I'm not leaving here until you come." He let her know, inserting a finger inside of her and then another as she moaned at the pressure, feeling his fingers tickling her g-spot whilst he went back to sucking on her clit. It was mind-numbing, and it didn't take long for her to orgasm.
"Fuck." AJ moaned, arching her back and rolling her head back, shuddering a little as the orgasm rushed through her in waves, sizzling every nerve inside of her until she was completely limp and satisfied.
"You good?" He chuckled a little, making his way back up her body, kissing the curve of her neck.
"Mhm." AJ said, running her hands down his back, "How do you want me?" She whispered in his ear.
"On top." He decided, lying down on his back beside her as she smirked.
"Lazy." She scoffed as he chuckled, watching her climb over him, straddling his hips and reaching her hand down to guide his length inside of her, sinking herself down on the full length of him whilst pressing her hands on his chest to steady herself.
"You feel better every time." Punk groaned, pulling her face down to his to kiss her roughly as she moaned into his mouth, her moans getting louder when she felt him thrusting up into her.
"Fuck." She cried out, leaning over him, chest pressed against his whilst he held her hips and thrust up.
"You better not get us thrown out of here." Punk said breathlessly, placing his hand over her mouth as she bit his finger which only made him chuckle, continuing to thrust up into her, the sound of skin slapping skin and their moans echoing throughout the room. Both of them were in heaven, holding each other tightly, kissing and pulling at each other, only hoping the night could last forever.
