08:00:23, Rotterdam The Hague Airport, Netherlands, once Ivan is in C.I.A. custody, Laswell contacts the only person near the Mexico-United States Border Wall she can trust with catching Hadir before getting up in the air. And this individual leads a task force composed of members from all Mexican Spec Ops units called El Grupo De Trabajo De Los Vaqueros, commonly known as Task Force Los Vaqueros (just "Los Vaqueros" in the original).

Laswell: Colonel Vargas.

Colonel Vargas: Special Agent Laswell. I thought we were on a first-name basis. This must be serious.

Laswell: It is. I need your help, Alejandro.

Alejandro: (Spanish) Tell me.

Laswell: The Los Zetas cartel is back and helping a Russian-Afghan terrorist survey the Mexico-United States Border Wall.

Alejandro: Laswell, Los Zetas is supposed to be no more. And terrorists don't cross the southern border.

Laswell: We thought so, too. And we know that, and they know that, and that is exactly why they're gonna do it. I need you to stop it.

Alejandro: Who's my target?

Laswell: Junior Lieutenant Hadir Karim.

Alejandro: Copy. When?

Laswell: Tonight.

21:58:34, Mexico-United States Border, Watcher is able to get a surveillance drone over Colonel Alejandro Vargas (Alain Mesa) and his second in command, Major Rodolfo Parra (Sergeant Major Rodolfo Parra in the original) (Bayardo De Murguia), for ISR. Los Zetas has already made their move by using illegal immigrants to lure the United States Border Patrol away from Hadir.

MEXICO-UNITED STATES BORDER

Laswell: I've tapped into a surveillance drone. I'm eyes on. You've got movement down there, Alejandro.

Alejandro: Migrants are in the water. Border Patrol's responding.

Laswell: The Narcos are using the migrants as a distraction. They could be escorting Hadir as we speak.

Alejandro: Copy. Where's F.B.I. (Federal Bureau of Investigation) on this?

Laswell: F.B.I.'s an hour out. Right now, you're all we got.

Alejandro: (English) (on comms) Standby. (Spanish) (off comms) Rodolfo, migrants are a diversion. Target's on the move.

Rodolfo: (Spanish) They probably crossed the river in a boat. Let's find it.

Alejandro: (Spanish) (off comms) Good call. (English) (on comms) We're on it, Watcher.

Laswell: Alejandro, do not let Hadir cross the border.

Alejandro: Solid copy. Out.

Rodolfo: (Spanish) If he gets over, we have no jurisdiction in the U.S.

Alejandro: (Spanish) Let's make sure that doesn't happen. If we can't, well, we can always give the Americans a taste of their own medicine. I'm sure the C.I.A. would approve, let alone cover us.

Laswell: *chuckles* I heard that.

Rodolfo: (Spanish) Look, Colonel. There, north side.

Alejandro: (Spanish) That's their boat. Stop here. (quietly) Hey, listen. Cartel's moving Hadir fast.

Rodolfo: (Spanish) (quietly) We can still catch them before they cross.

Alejandro: (Spanish) (quietly) Roger that.

Mexico-United States Border

--

At the Mexico-United States Border Wall itself, Alejandro and Rodolfo take out a squad of Los Zetas Narcos with a ladder. Unfortunately, Hadir is already over the wall and attempting to disappear in Laredo, Texas.

[M4A1 fire]

[M4A1 CQBR fire]

Alejandro: (Spanish) Clear!

Rodolfo: (Spanish) Clear. Los Zetas working with Russia? This is new territory.

Alejandro: Watcher, Hadir crossed and is on the move. What's the call?

Laswell: Change of tactics. It may not be advisable, but we CANNOT let Hadir go wild in the U.S. Pursue him, I'll cover you as best I can.

Alejandro: Understood. Keep pushing F.B.I. and contact the local PD (police department). Out.

In the suburbs that followed after the wall, Los Zetas makes quite a mess just to escort one person for temperature-taking. And regrettably, Task Force Los Vaqueros has to get just as messy as they engage armed and scared American citizens who are just trying to protect their homes.

Alejandro: (Spanish) Careful, Major. These are people's homes, and we don't belong here. (English) Eh Mexican Special Forces!

Rodolfo: Eh Mexican Special Forces!

American Male 1: Motherfuckers! You want some too?!

Rodolfo: Drop your weapon!

American Male 1: FUCK YOU!

Rodolfo: Get the fuck back! NOW!

American Male 1: GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!

[Baseball Bat hit]

[Rodolfo painfully grunts]

[M4A1 CQBR fire]

American Female 1: NOOOO! *cries*

Rodolfo: (Spanish) Son of a bitch!

Alejandro: (Spanish) (off comms) It was his fault, not yours. Come on! (English) (on comms) Watcher, send medical. One civilian down.

[door opens]

Alejandro and Rodolfo: Eh Mexican Special Forces! Get down!

American Male 2: WHAT THE FUCK?!

[American Female 2 yelps and screams]

American Male 3: GET THE FUCK OUTTA MY HOUSE!

Alejandro: We're not here to— HEY, HOLD IT!

[M4A1 fire]

[M4A1 CQBR fire]

Alejandro: (Spanish) (off comms) Fuck! (English) (on comms) Watcher, send more medical. Three civilians down.

Laswell finally comes through with some local PD support who at first thought Alejandro and Rodolfo were cartel members. But once the air is cleared up, Los Zetas tries to kill all of them with an RPG-7V2.

All Laredo PD first responders have been killed, but Victor 1 and Victor 2 survived the ambush and returned fire. Despite being on their own again, they continue with the mission and assault the two-story house Hadir and his cartel friends are holed up in.

With Alejandro making entry while Rodolfo holds outside to watch for squirters (targets running away from the objective area). Inside, the Los Zetas Narcos try to burn the building to the ground.

So Victor 1 grabs a fire extinguisher and puts out the fires after killing the arsonists.

[fire extinguisher shoots]

[door opens]

[M4A1 fire]

[Los Zetas Narco 1 painfully grunts]

Alejandro: (Spanish) Motherfucker!

[M4A1 fire]

Hadir: *claps* Oh, how I love watching special forces work.

Alejandro: *clears throat* Watcher, Hadir is not in the building. It was a body double. The real Hadir is in a video call on a laptop with me right now.

Laswell: Shit! Patch me into the computer. I'll start tracing him.

Alejandro: Copy. You're connected.

Hadir: Do you know who I am?

Alejandro: You're a terrorist piece of shit.

Hadir: *shakes head* I'm a soldier. And I'm here to fight. When Special Agent Kate Laswell handed me over to the Russian Government, I told her she will rue the day she and her royal minions turned their backs on me! *hangs up*

Alejandro: Damn. He's gone.

Laswell: Not on my watch. I have his location. What else do you see in there?

Alejandro: It looks like the Russians and Los Zetas are moving three big shipments across the Atlantic by boat. I'm gonna— BOMB!

[C4 Explosive Charge detonation]

It turns out the seemingly ordinary American suburban home in Laredo is actually a safe house for Los Zetas sleeper cells in the country. And Hadir tries to bury it along with Alejandro with hidden C4 strapped to some No. 76 Special Incendiary Grenades.

However, Victor 1 manages to get out of the blast radius in time and is now trying to save whatever is left of the enemy intel. But just as he snuffs out all the flames in the master bedroom/makeshift war room, he is kicked in the face by an armed American citizen just as he is about to call Victor 2 for some help.

[fire extinguisher shoots]

Alejandro: *coughs* (Spanish) (off comms) Okay. (on comms) Rodolfo, I'm gonna need you in here for intel gathering. Rodolfo? Rodol—

[U.S. Combatant 1 left side kicks, right crosses and left elbow strikes Alejandro]

Laswell: Alejandro?! Alejandro, what the hell is going on?!

Alejandro: Argh! Eh Mexican Special— No! NOOO—

[U.S. Combatant 1 throws Alejandro out the window]

[crash]

[Alejandro painfully grunts and painfully groans]

Rodolfo: (Spanish) Colonel!

U.S. Combatant 2: Hey! HEY! Stay down if you want him to live!

[Alejandro reaches out]

Rodolfo: Please, we are eh Mexican Special Forces!

U.S. Combatant 1: Is that so?!

[metallic bang]

U.S. Combatant 1: Then you shouldn't have a problem answering some questions of mine.

Alejandro rolls down the roof and lands on top of a car. While trying to recover, he sees Rodolfo being held at gunpoint on the sidewalk by another American gunman.

And before he could try to help him, the assailant who attacked him in the Los Zetas Safe House slides down, lands on the hood, and starts asking him some questions.

Alejandro: No! Please, we mean you and your people—

U.S. Combatant 1: *equips X-45 Tactical* Stay the fuck down!

Alejandro: (English) Okay! Okay! (Spanish) Do what they say, Rodolfo!

Rodolfo: Who are you?! F.B.I.?! C.I.A.?!

U.S. Combatant 2: Not important! What's important is what my associate there wants to know.

U.S. Combatant 1: (English) Where's Grace Cameron and her team?! (Spanish) The Fox News reporter and crew who disappeared at the border three months ago!

Alejandro: Oh, shit! Uh, I don't know! We've been trying to find them, but our superiors called off the search!

U.S. Combatant 1: Corrupt shitheads! *steps on Alejandro's chest*

Alejandro: *painfully grunts* NO, WAIT!

U.S. Combatant 1: You two have five seconds to give intel on Grace Cameron and her team's whereabouts! FOUR!

Rodolfo: THEY ARE NOT IN MEXICO!

U.S. Combatant 1: THREE! TWO!

U.S. Combatant 3: Ramirez! Dunn! Hold fire!

U.S. Combatant 4: They're overseas C.I.A. assets! Stand down!

U.S. Combatant 1/Ramirez: What the— Foley, Allen, where the hell did you get that bullshit?!

U.S. Combatant 3/Foley: They're watching us right now. See the drone?

U.S. Combatant 4/Allen: They were also able to get our faces and contact info. They're on my phone as we speak.

U.S. Combatant 2/Dunn: Of course, the C.I.A.'s involved.

Laswell: Negative. Hunter Team 2, I can assure you that we and the Mexican Special Forces are not involved.

Dunn: OH, REALLY?!

Ramirez: We didn't come all this way to let the ONLY LEADS WE HAVE SLIP OUT OF OUR FUCKING HANDS!

Laswell: I can help you find Grace Cameron and her team, James. Just help Alejandro and Rodolfo and let them go. F.B.I.'s on the way to assist you.

Ramirez: Not buying it! You spooks are too late! Three months too late.

Allen: Staff Sergeant, I'm sorry, but we can't touch 'em. Come on.

Foley: Let's hear 'em out first, okay? Maybe they can help.

Ramirez: *angrily snarls* FINE! Saved by the bell then! Up your ass! You only got scratches on you. *helps Alejandro up*

Foley: Understood, Laswell. Hunter Team 2 will not engage.

Rodolfo: Watcher, now that we're all friends, can you tell us who they are?

Laswell: The man in the orange hunting jacket is Staff Sergeant James Ramirez. The one who restrained you is Sergeant First Class Barry Dunn. And the two who saved your bacon are Master Sergeant Keith Foley and Sergeant First Class Joseph Allen. 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Hunter Team 2.

Alejandro: That explains why we never saw you coming.

Rodolfo: Yeah.

The four U.S. Combatants turn out to be U.S. Army Rangers of the 75th Ranger Regiment's Hunter Team 2. Specifically, Master Sergeant Keith Foley (just "Sergeant Foley" in the original) (voiced and played by his original VA: Keith David), Sergeant First Class Barry Dunn (just "Corporal Dunn" in the original) (voiced and played by his original VA: Barry Pepper), Sergeant First Class Joseph Allen (Private First Class Joseph Allen in the original) (voiced and played by his original VA: Troy Baker) and Staff Sergeant James Ramirez (Private James Ramirez in the original) (voiced and played by the VA I gave him in the original remake series: Scott Eastwood).

As the healed Task Force Los Vaqueros Operators return to Mexico with an F.B.I. escort, Ramirez starts getting flashbacks of the day he first met his girlfriend and Fox News reporter, Grace Cameron (voiced and played by the VA I gave her in the original remake series: Jen Taylor), eight years ago.

Ramirez: *shakes head* Whoa.

Grace: (flashback) Hey, you. I take it you like this place.

Ramirez: (flashback) Well, if it isn't the cutest waitress in my most favorite bar and restaurant in Atlanta.

Grace: (flashback) *blushes* Aww, I don't know about me, but this is a sweet establishment. *extends right hand* Grace Cameron. Part-time waitress studying in journalism at Georgia State University.

Ramirez: (flashback) *shakes Grace's hand* Specialist James Ramirez. U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division.

Grace: (flashback) Whoa, a paratrooper. So, you drop down on terrorists' heads and pop 'em?

Ramirez: (flashback) Smart girl. I'm also a combat medic, by the way. So I save lives, too.

Grace: (flashback) Cool. Are you planning on becoming an Army Ranger as well?

Ramirez: (flashback) Wait, how do you—

Grace: (flashback) *giggles* I read about the U.S. Military sometimes. It's one of the few topics that doesn't make me fall asleep in class.

Ramirez: (flashback) Wow. I've never met a girl who doesn't get bored of military stuff in class like us guys.

[Ramirez and Grace laugh at each other]

Dunn: (real-time) What do you think, James?

Allen: (real-time) Ramirez?

Foley: (real-time) *snaps fingers* Hey. You alright?

Ramirez: Oh. Uh, I'm not sure how to explain this. But every time I see those two operators, I start seeing flashes and hearing words from the day I first met Grace. Weird, I know.

Dunn: Million-dollar question?

Ramirez: Why now?

Foley: I guess that could mean you're getting closer to finding her than ever before. Don't worry. You'll see her again.

Allen: Yeah, bro. This ain't over yet.

Dunn: Only ends one way, right?

Ramirez: *smiles* Thanks, guys. *exhales* The calm has ended. They are beginning to return.
