Reading of…
The scene fades into existence. It looks like a wide expanse of blackness, stars and a single moon. Below the moon, we see an odd fox. It was about as large as a grown man. It had fur as black as night, yet it had silver streaks beginning at the outside corners of its eyes and running across its back before it split into nine, before going to the tips of its nine tails. However, the oddest thing about the kitsune was not its height, its coloring or pattern. No, it was the fact that it had vaguely humanoid hands.
The kitsune sighed as it stared at the moon. "Well," it began, its voice was revealed to be rather soft. I suppose it's time," it said. It raised one paw into the air, and a symbol appeared (my profile pic) in front of it.
All over the multiverse
The symbol appeared beneath various people. When the people tried to leave the symbol beneath their feet, they found that they couldn't move their feet. "WHAT THE FU-!" one particular person was about to explode, before the people all vanished.
In MY domain
The people that vanished appeared in my domain in flashes of light. "-CK?!" the guy finished, before he looked around them. A brunette decided to ask the thing that was on ALL of their minds. "Where the hell are we?"
"Welcome, all, to my domain," a soft voice said. Everyone present turned to the source and saw me. "Who are you?" one of the two old men asked. Unlike the other old man, he was leaning on a cane.
"I, head captain yamamoto, captain of squad one, am yami luna kitsune," i introduced myself, bowing my head in greeting. "Why are we here?" an airy voice asked. I turn to the source and saw a silvery blonde that had a spacy look in her gaze. "Well, luna lovegood, i brought you all here, to view the universes i created," i explained.
"Universes?" a guy with short brown hair and glasses and wearing a white coat asked. "Yes, sosuke aizen. I am a relatively young god. Also, this message from me is for the soul reapers," i say. The last part getting the attention of the shinigami. "The abilities of your zanpakuto will NOT affect me. Should you attempt to use them on me, i will take your zanpakuto, until it is time for you to leave," i warn the shinigami. Most of the shinigami bowed in acceptance. Except for one. "Aizen," i began, getting his attention. "DO. YOU. UNDERSTAND?!" my voice boomed, scaring most of the people present.
Aizen fell to his ass and quickly nodded. "Good," i said, my voice back to normal. I then began to explain to them why else they were here. "Now, i have read the stories of the universes all of you come from," i began, shocking them. A hand shot into the air. "Yes, hermione granger?" i asked.
"There are books about us all?" she asked. "Hmm, how should i put it?" i asked myself. "Ah, i got it," i said. "You like to read, yes?" i asked hermione. "Of course," she confirmed. Do you read books that have sequels?" i asked her. "Of course i have," she said. The universes where all of you come from are like that, in this universe," i explained.
My answer stunned them all. And i have read them all. I know how they end," getting curious looks from them all. "Also," i began, before i looked at aizen and albus in particular. "I've got my eye on you two in particular. I know about your zanpakuto's abilities, aizen," shocking him. I looked at albus, next. "I know what you are REALLY like, albus dumbledore," i warned albus, scaring him.
"Anyway," my tone cheerful, if still quiet. I have created various worlds, but my apparent most popular is one that i combined with BOTH of your universes, and i based it on another world from another god," i said. *cue mouths hanging*
"Well? Feel free to have a seat, and enjoy the show," i invited them. They all sat down, and the show began.
Birth of a soul
"This idea hit me while i was updating another world of mine which, sadly, is now dead," i explain.
One day, after yet ANOTHER beating by his monster of an uncle, with his fat cousin and horse aunt either cheered his uncle on, or just sat there, not caring, harry felt a VERY powerful desire to retreat into his mindscape. However, harry believed it to be his imagination, but we'll get to the difference later. Anyway, as harry laid there, in the cupboard where he grew up, harry decided to retreat somewhere only he could access: his mindscape/imagination. In his mindscape, harry saw a cave. Deciding quickly, so as none of his family could get their hands on him, harry ran inside.
"Why is harry with my sister?!" a redhead screamed. "Calm down, lily," i said soothingly. "Whether we like it or not, him being with her is actually pivotal for MANY stories involving your universe, including the true story," i explain.
Once inside the cave, harry felt more at home than he EVER did with his relatives, despite it being kinda hard to see, with it being so dark. To be fair, nearly ANYWHERE is FAR better than living with those animals in human skin. And so, harry decided to explore his home away from prison.
"That is actually pretty accurate," i said. "What's worse than THEM?!" lily demanded. Every witch and wizard looked interested in my answer. "I can think of a few places in your world, that ARE worse, like azkaban, the gaunt home and even the orphanage where voldemort resided during his hogwarts years," i said. "Azkaban?" yamamoto asked me. "A prison in the world of harry potter. It's located in the middle of the baltic sea on a REALLY tiny island, where the prisoners are barely given ANY food and drink. That would not be so bad, by itself. However, azkaban is surrounded 24/7 by dementors. Dementors are the closest thighs to actual hollows in the wizarding world. They feed on joy and happiness, leaving behind sadness, misery and despair. If they kiss you, they feed on your soul. After a dementor feeds on the soul, the body lives on, but as a literal husk of the person they once was," i explained. Naturally, the shinigami looked FURIOUS.
"What's the gaunt home?" hemione asked. The gaunt home is what was left of the direct line of salazar slytherin. In order to keep the line 'pure' so to speak, they were prone to inbreeding, which was causing the family to die out. Until merope gaunt, voldemort's mother, gave tom marvolo riddle, voldemort's father amortentia, as she was rather infatuated with him. Well after merope became pregnant with her only child, she stopped giving her love the potion, honestly believing that he loved her back. Instead, he was disgusted with her, and abandoned her immediately after he found out. And so, miserable, but hanging on for her son, merope carried the baby to term. However, sadly, she died in delivery, in the very orphanage where her son grew up," i explained.
As he was exploring, harry came across MANY things: piles of gold coins, small mountains of jewels, enchanted weapons and armor (not that he KNEW that they were enchanted. Harry just thought that they looked cool), etc. However, harry came across two things he did NOT expect in his new cave: two creatures.
To be specific, the two creatures were a small dragon and a REALLY big rabbit, think about the rabbits that pull the sled of radagast the brown, and you'll have the right size of the rabbit. The odd thing about the dragon and rabbit, aside from the fact that they were the same size despite being different species, was the fact that they were more akin to dolls. Harry, despite being a child, knew that the two creatures were in a deep sleep (surprisingly accurate, wouldn't you say?) and decided to do what he could to get them outside. He kinda figured that the fresh air would help them wake up. So, he grabbed the rabbit first, then the dragon, and proceeded to do what he could to carry them outside.
"Wow, that's a big rabbit," hermione said. "DRAGON?!" ron yelled in fear.
It took a LONG time (and a LOT of breaks, because he was worn out, from time to time. Hey that's a LOT of weight for a CHILD to carry, be fair, readers), but he FINALLY got them set them down as gently as he could (not easy, given his exhaustion) and began to go get more stuff to bring outside. However, he did not make more than a few steps before he felt weak and passed out.
"Well, he is a CHILD at this point," james stated.
When harry woke up, it was morning. Despite being full of fear for the day to come, he was hopeful and VERY determined to go back to that cave tonight.
And so, harry would retreat into his mindscape every night, clearing out the cave. He found some items that he would need a LOT of help to even MOVE, such as the shelf containing a MASSIVE amount of scrolls. As the days went by, the dragon and rabbit started to gain awareness.
Harry, seeing their eyes open a bit after so many days shut made him a bit happy. So, he tried speaking with them. However, they just sat there, having no reactions whatsoever. Harry figured that they must be BARELY awake.
And so, harry went back to clearing the cave. Harry found a chest full of gold and gems, which he tried to move to no avail. So, he went to carry the lighter stuff out of the cave.
This continued for a few months when, one night when harry returned to his mindscape, the dragon and rabbit JUMPED him to give him affection, and as thanks for getting them out of that cave. That was when harry attempted to speak with them, "can you speak to me?" harry asked hopefully. The mouths of the dragon and rabbit moved, but no sound came out. "I'm sorry, but i can't hear you," harry sadly said. The dragon and rabbit were sad at that, but they understood that it was FAR too soon for him to hear them.
"Oh, they're awake," luna said.
"Wanna help get the stuff out of the cave?" harry awkwardly asked them. The dragon and rabbit perked up and enthusiastically agreed. The three of them got to work.
With their help, harry was FINALLY able to move the shelf of scrolls as well as the chest that he found a while ago. Shortly after the heaviest items were taken out of the cave, the three of them found a MASSIVE pearl that was glowing with an inner light, bound by chains. Upon seeing the pearl, the dragon and rabbit IMMEDIATELY started to try carrying the pearl. Seeing this, harry asked "um~, should i help with that?" the dragon and rabbit EAGERLY nodded their heads. And so, with harry's help, the pearl's chains were removed and the pearl was carried (the pearl was REALLY heavy, even without the chains). It took a few hours of slow going, but the three of them managed to put the pearl on an altar outside the cave.
"How heavy would that gem be?" hemione asked. "Likely one of those heavy duty industrial machines to even budge," i explained. Hermione was shocked at my estimate.
After the pearl was on the altar, the three of them collapsed in exhaustion. The dragon and rabbit moved as best as they could to harry, and cuddled with him as thanks for the help with the pearl. "Glad i could help," harry said, accepting the dragon and rabbit cuddling up to him, before he passed out from exhaustion.
"That's rather adorable," luna stated
The next day, after harry returned, he tried to have a conversation with the dragon and rabbit. "Hi, there. How are you?" To his surprise, he could actually hear them respond. "We're fine, right now," they responded.
"I can hear you," harry whispered in awe. The dragon and rabbit perked up at that. "You can hear us?" the rabbit started. "Truely?" the dragon finished. "I can," harry responded.
And with that, the three of them hugged each other as best as they could. For the dragon and rabbit, they were glad to FINALLY have someone able to hear them after so long. For harry, it felt like he was becoming whole.
The three did not want to stop the hug.
"Who's ready for the next chapter?" i asked.
