After solving the prophecy, the powers of light combined with the powers of miracles and hope, andVeemon and Patamon were able to become UlforceVeedramon and Seraphimon. Even with their new power, it was still a rather tough fight. However, the children were able to combine there powers and work together. By doing so, they were finally able to defeat Daemon once and for all, but the adventure is not over.

After the Battle
Daemon is finally defeated. He was powerful and dangerous, but the kids were able to tap to defeat him. He might have been defeated, but some of the digimon that served him were still roaming free. However, the kids weren't needed for this. The proper authorities were able to take it from there. As they were being rounded up, Davis and Ken watched things unfold.
"Glad to see it's finally over." Ken said.
"You said it. We surely have some amazing kids, don't we?" Davis questioned.
"Yeah, but mine weren't a part of this fight and we're safe." Ken claimed. "Anyway, the media is going to have a field day with all of this. The peace between humans and digimon has been disturbed because of this. Not to mention that children stopped all of this instead of the proper authorizes? There's going to chaos, discord and more."
"Good thing I'm just a ramen man." Davis joked. "I'm sure you, Tai, and Izzy will be able to handle everything."
"Speaking of which, how are the boys?" Ken questioned. "Poor Koji must still be upset over ShadowWereGarurumon."
"Yeah, but Musuko and the others are with him, so I'm not worried that much." Davis said. He and Ken wish they could enjoy this, but there was something off. "It's great that Daemon is gone, but why does it feel like things are unfinished?"
"I know what you mean." Ken said. "It feels like there's something else is about to happen." These two have been around the block when it comes to saving both worlds, so they can just feel that something is wrong.
...
The Children
Musuko and his group were at the park. They were glad that Daemon was gone, but there was still something that had to be done. Koji wanted to go to the park and built a small memorial for ShadowWereGarurumon.
"This is a good spot." Koji said as he finished setting it up. "This was right where I met ShadowWereGarurumon." Koji really misses him a lot and it will help keep his memory alive.
"He might not of started out as a good guy, but he ended up being a great one since he gave up his life for Koji." Gatomon claimed.
"Don't worry, Koji." Musuko assured. "Maybe he'll be reborn and we'll see him again one day."
"Yeah. At least he knows he made some friends in his final moments. That was really all he wanted." Benson said. Koji can take some comfort knowing that.
"Where's Mason? He and Palmon should be here for this." Gatomon said.
"With his mom and Uncle Tai." Musuko claimed. "They said there was something they wanted to talk to him and the others about." That sounded like it could be something serious.
...
Mason
"Thanks for coming." Tai said as he and Mimi stood with their kids to discuss something important.
"You sound rather formal. Is this serious?" Malcolm asked.
"Is everything okay?" Tyson questioned.
"It is, but there's something we want to talk to all of you about." Mimi said. "Malcolm, we want all of you to know about this, but we're mostly worried about how you're going to take this." Malcolm didn't like the sound of that as it felt like a pit was forming in his stomach. "As you know, Tai is your real birth father, but something has happened lately."
"We wanted to tell all of you for some time, but we weren't sure how, especially with how Malcolm felt about this whole situation between me and Mimi." Tai claimed. "However, given everything that has happened lately, we both think it's finally time."
"Time for what? What do you have to tell us?" Mason said as they didn't like how they were making this sound.
"Mimi, get to it. I think you're scaring them." Mimi's Palmon claimed.
"I'm sorry. We're making this sound worst than it really is." Mimi said. "We're just a little worried as to how you're all going to take this. However, secrets have caused problems and I don't want to keep any from you anymore. The truth is... " Mimi revealed what they were talking about as she grabbed Tai's hand. When she did, they finally understood what they were saying now.
"You mean... You two are dating?!" Malcolm said as he and the other boys couldn't believe it.
"That's right. We wanted to tell you kids sooner, but we were worried as how you were going to take it, especially with everything that's been going on lately." Tai said.
"We've been seeing each other for the past couple weeks now." Mimi said. "Now that you know, what do you kids think?"
"Mom, this is great!" Mason said as he was happy about it. "It's great that you're seeing someone again." They were glad to hear Mason was on board with it, but what about the rest of them?
"Tyson?" Tai questioned as he was worried about what his son thinks. "I know that this might be hard for you, but I'm sure your mother would want this. She would want us to live our lives and pursue the things that make us happy. I'm not trying to replace her. I'm just simply trying to do what she would like us to do. So, are you okay with this?"
"I am, Dad." Tyson said as he really was. "I love having Mimi around like the others. She's really nice and fun." Tai was so glad to hear his youngest boy was okay with this. That just left one more. The one they were most worried about.
"Malcolm? How do you feel about this?" Mimi questioned.
"You know, when I learned the truth, I didn't know what to think the whole thing." Malcolm said. "I was so angry and thought my life was a lie. Then, it all started to go away. I was able to to start letting it go. The pain started to go away. I began to accept it and heal. So, now that you're telling this..." He walked over to them and and placed his hands on them. "I have a rare chance for both of my birth parents to be together. Not a lot of people have that chance, so I don't want to let it slip away. If this is something you both want because you want to be together, I'm glad to hear that."
"Oh, Malcolm..." Mimi cried as she was so happy that she hugged her son. Now it feels like all the pains d disdain between them is gone. They all came together for a group hug like they're one big family. Even the digimon got misty eyed from seeing this.
"Boys, this great, but we have to go now." Tai said. "We're meeting with some of the other adults as to what we're going from here. I say that we all get together for a dinner." They all loved the sound of that as they were all glad that there are no more secrets.
...
Musuko's group
"Come on, Koji. Let's go meet up with Dad before Mom thinks you've been taken again." Musuko joked as they were all on their way to continue on with their day and ready to get back to normalcy.
"Kids? Is that you?" All of them looked ahead and were surprised to see their teacher.
"Mr. Yakedo!" Benson said.
"Hello, sir." Natalie said.
"Yeah, hi. Mr. Yakedo, you know my younger brother, Koji, right?" Musuko asked.
"Of course. I hear you're the nice one between the two of you." Mr. Yakedo said. "I'm glad to see all of you are safe and well. What happened was insane."
"You don't have to tell us." Musuko said since they were at the center of all of it.
"Still, I'm glad to know you're all safe." Me. Yakedo claimed. "It gives you a chance to makeup the schoolwork you've all been lacking in lately." That was right. They were all distracted with the whole thing with Daemon that they've been ignoring their schoolwork.
"Saving the world is more exciting than the truckload of homework you give us." Musuko mumbled.
"What was that, Musuko?" Mr. Yakedo questioned.
"Nothing!" Musuko said as he tried to act innocent.
"By the way, what are you all doing I the park to begin with?" Mr. Yakedo questioned. "With the city in state of chaos at the moment, you kids shouldn't be out playing without adult supervision."
"You don't have to worry about that." Veemon assured.
"That's right. We'll be watching over them and making sure they're all protected." Biyomon claimed.
"That's awfully nice of you digimon, but there have been strong and dangerous digimon around. You need to be careful." Mr. Yakedo claimed.
"I'm sorry. I was the one to come out here because I wanted to pay my respects." Koji claimed. That got Mr. Yakedo to feel bad.
"Oh! No, I'm sorry! I wasn't aware something liked that happened." Mr. Yakedo claimed. As a teacher, Mr. Yakedo tried to push his students to reach the potential they have. However, he could tell there was something about these students. "You know, I always believed there was something about you kids that sets you apart from the other students. Don't get the wrong idea. I care for all my students equally, but I can just tell that you all are something special. Anyway, do be careful." He claimed as they went on ahead.
"What was that about? Why did he say that?" Veemon questioned.
"Do you think he knows?" Biyomon questioned.
"I don't think so. Mr. Yakedo might be a tough teacher, but he's a great one and a good man. If he knew, he would have talked to our parents about it." Natalie said. "I actually feel bad for keeping him in the dark of what we've been doing."
"Maybe, but what can we do?" Musuko said. "Besides, we'll be back to boring class soon enough." They all think there's nothing to worry about. They're done with a fierce battle and everything will return to normal.
...
The Adults
Meanwhile, the eight original digidestined all met up in a small house near Izzy's lab. Daemon's latest attack has the public in a frenzy. All eight of them were looking over public opinions as they were worried what this might do to the relations between humans and digimon.
"Give it to us straight, Izzy and Mimi. How does it look?" Matt asked.
"Good news." Mimi claimed. "A lot of people know about Daemon's attack, but it doesn't change their opinion on digimon."
"However, many are concerned about the authorities not having enough power over digimon." Izzy said. "As you know, ever since the relationship between humans and digimon has been altered where digimon are free to be in our world, many legal actions and movements had to be authorized for the digimon to prevent senseless destruction. Digimon that live in this world must follow our laws just as we must follow the laws of the Digital World."
"That's right. Any digimon commuting violent actions will be charged like any other criminal." Tai said. "That's also why we have digimon joining police forces to aid in such actions."
"But the danger has passed now. Let's move past it and get a nice snack." Gomamon claimed.
"It's not that easy, Gomamon." Joe said. "Things aren't like how they were back when we were kids."
"The public knows about digimon." Sora said. "In order for them to live here, we must be able to have the power to combat those who act as threats."
"The proper authorities could barely do anything." T.K. claimed. "We had to rely on our children to handle this situation."
"And we all tried to prevent that from happening." Kari claimed.
"Things certainly aren't like how they were when we were kids, but we've come a long way since that day." Tai said. "We can't let the likes of Daemon or anyone else continue to spread chaos and destroy this peace. That's why we all have to do what we can to make sure all stays on track." All of them certainly agreed with that.
"Don't worry, Kari. I know you're concerned about Musuko and Koji, but everything is going to be fine now." Gatomon assured. Kari did take some comfort in that. They all thought it was, but they were wrong. Just then, there was a right light outside.
"What is that?!" Tai questioned. There was something outside. In fact, there were four individuals with one giving off a sinister smirk the moment his eyes landed on them.
...
The Kids
that light could be seen across zodiacs. The kids and the other digidestined could all see it, but they had no clue as to what it is.
"What's going on now?!" Musuko questioned.
"Didn't our parents say they were meeting up? Isn't that where they're coming from?" Natalie questioned.
"Let's go check it out!" Musuko said as they all hurried as fast as they could. Musuko and the others hurried over to where there parents were as fast as they could. When they finally got there, they missed whatever happen. The freighting part was there was nothing except a large crater left. The house itself was gone...and that meant their parents were gone.
"What happened here?" Benson questioned.
"Guys!" All of them saw Mason coming in with Tyson and Malcolm.
"What happened here?" Malcolm questioned.
"We don't know!" Musuko said.
"Musuko! Koji!" That was when they noticed Davis and Ken hurrying in. "What happened? Where's Mommy! She, your Uncle Tai, and the others were suppose to be here!" Davis said as he didn't like this.
"We don't know! We just got here!" Natalie said as they all don't like that there parents seem to have vanished.
"Look! Down there!" Pats called as he spotted something. They all looked down the crater and saw the digimon of the adults were still down there.
"Gatomon!" Davis called as he and the others hurried to them. "Gatomon, what happened?!" He asked when he lifted Gatomon into his arms. "Where is Kari and the others?"
"They're... They're gone. They took all eight of them." Gatomon said.
"Who did?! Who attacked you?!" Ken questioned.
"They... They somehow came back... The Dark Masters." Gatomon claimed as a new threat is now here.
...
With some of their parents taken, a new adventure seems to wait for Musuko and the kids. An old threat from the past has returned and it might be up to these kids to finish what their parents started.
