I don't own Disney's The Owl House. I do, however own the OC known as Danielle Hopkins. Hope you all enjoy my story on this lovely show.

Chapter Twenty-One

For the last few days, just like Eda said, Danielle was still a four year old… that had gone kitty for a while. Granted, Luz and King by then had given Danielle the name of Kittielle whenever she was like that. Come the following morning, everyone was actually glad that Danielle was actually back to normal. Even Danielle herself since just like Luz, the last days were fuzzy. Right now, the two were talking to Willow and Gus via crystal ball.

"So, they said I couldn't remove my thumb, but look at that!" said Luz, pretending to remove her thumb. "Whoop!"

"You sliced it off!" said Gus, panicking. "You sliced off your own thumb!"

"I'll explain it a little later," said Danielle, stretching. "It's not hard to do."

"You make doing homework actually fun," said Willow, chuckling.

"And they say humans can't do magic," said Luz, grinning.

"Luz..." said King, climbing onto the table. "Nyeh! You've been talking to them all morning. Don't forget about the Luz and King comedy hour!"

"Please, no," said Eda, still stirring whatever she was making. "Not the comedy hour..."

"Here comes the bread puns," said Danielle, reading through one of her textbooks.

"This week I've been working with props!" said King, before putting a cardboard tube on his nose. "Oh dear, I've gotten a tube stuck on my nose! Will I ever eat again?"

"Hmmm," said Danielle, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Looks like I'm toast!" said King, slamming an actual slice of toast on his nose.

"It just goes on like this for an hour!" said Eda, hearing the two laugh.

"Egg-cellent," said Danielle, just flipping through her textbook.

"Don't you start…" said Eda, glaring at Danielle.

"Heyo, dough boy, quit loafing around!" said Luz, poking the tube.

"Why don't you bake me?" said King, before laughing alongside Luz.

"I can still brush you today, King," said Danielle, looking at King.

"Yes, please," said Eda, looking at Danielle. "The less shed fur around the place, the better."

"Okay, later then," said King, more interested in bread puns with Luz.

"Looks like it's time to go to school," said Danielle, seeing the alarm go off. "Let's go Luz."

"See you guys in class!" said Luz, staring at Willow and Gus.

"Bye!" said Willow, waving bye.

"But what about the thumb?!" asked Gus, still panicking as the crystal ball was turned off.

"Hey, don't worry," said Luz, seeing King disappointed. "We'll finish our comedy hour when I get home."

"Hee hee, oh, you!" said King, as Danielle and Luz gave him kisses on the top of his head.

"Try not to miss me while we're gone!" said Luz, closing the door.

Heading towards Hexside, Danielle and Luz see that the grounds were littered with pixies. A few even had a hold of Frewin. Danielle slowly tries to grab her magic and encases the pixies in a water bubble which ends up leaving her panting.

"I need more practice," said Danielle, as she steadied herself by holding Luz's shoulder.

"Uh, Danielle…" said Luz, noticing a little trickle of blood from the corner of Danielle's mouth. "You're bleeding."

"I hope this subsides by a certain point," said Danielle, taking a breather before looking at Principal Bump. "Is this a school event?"

"No, it's not. It's an infestation," replied Principal Bump, swatting a pixie away as well. "Until further notice, school is cancelled."

"Great," said Luz, walking away. "Me and King can finish our comedy hour."

"Boscha!" said Principal Bump, spotting Boscha trying to hightail it out of Hexside. "Nice try. Your pixie, your mess. You'll be staying."

"What?" said Boscha, as Principal Bump levitated her back towards the school.

"Be glad I'm not benching you from grudgby yet," said Principal Bump, staring at Boscha.

Heading back towards the Owl House, Danielle and Luz had to dodge whatever pixies followed them. That meant Danielle trying to grab her magic again and encasing them in not just water bubbles but air bubbles. By the time they got back, Danielle was gripping her chest and trying to get her breathing back to normal.

"Hey, you're…" said Eda, as the girls walked in.

"You're back!" said King, climbing on top of Luz's head. "I didn't miss you at all."

"What happened?" asked Eda, checking on Danielle.

"Apparently there's an infestation of pixies at Hexside, so school's been canceled," replied Luz, looking at Eda. "Oh, you mean…"

"Tried using my actual magic," said Danielle, looking at Eda. "It's gonna take a while for my body to get used to it."

"Take it slow and steady," said Eda, as Danielle sat down at the table. "There's no rush."

"Hey! Guess what's been in my mouth that I'm about to throw up!" said Hooty, gagging for several long moments before letters and a box were regurgitated. "The mail!"

"Hooty, ew," said Danielle, disgusted by the action as well as Eda, Luz and King.

"Junk, junk, death hex," said Eda, riffling through the mail. "Oh, a carnival's in town today!"

"Oh, I hope they have churros here," said Danielle, getting her breathing in check. "And funnel cake… and chicken nachos… and corn dogs… and Mexican grilled corn."

"I could go for that last one," said Luz, drooling at the thought.

"Any thing with cheese?" asked King, staring at Luz.

"Loaded cheese fries," said Danielle and Luz, before looking at each other and laughing.

"You know, I've been so busy with school lately, what do you say we take this comedy hour on tour?" said Luz, holding King. "It'll be a Luz and King day!"

"That's my kinda day!" replied King, happily wagging his tail.

"What about me?" thought Danielle, before looking to the side and sighing.

"Carnivals bring crowds and crowds bring suckers. This could be the perfect chance to try out my new get-witch-quick scheme," said Eda, grabbing her staff out of the pot and shaking goop off it. "I'm in! To the carnival!"

"Wanna know an Italian phrase?" asked Danielle, looking at everyone. "a Carnevale ogni scherzo vale. Means that during carnival, anything goes. But this is a different kind of carnival."

"There's another kind?" said Eda, looking at Danielle. "Eh, whatever. I still like what I heard."

"Let's all four of us go!" said Luz, looking at everyone.

"An adventure with friends! I'll go pack my stuff!" said Hooty, leaving the kitchen.

"Let's go before Hooty packs his stuff," said Eda, pushing Danielle and Luz out the back door.

"How would Hooty even leave?" asked Danielle, looking at Eda. "He's attached to the house."

"It's best not to know right now," replied Eda, mounting her staff with Danielle, Luz and King before taking off. "Trust me."

Flying towards Bonesborough, the carnival can be seen in the distance. Danielle was able to grab a stray balloon that came from said site and gave it to King, who tied it to Eda's staff. Landing near the gates, everyone hops off.

"Well, here we are, kids," said Eda, stopping at the gates. "Look at all that fresh meat."

"And smell all the fresh meat!" said Luz, before inhaling a fly before coughing it back up. "Fun!"

"This is bigger than the fair I've went to," said Danielle, swatting a fly away.

"No games for you, Owlbert, we've got scams to run," said Eda, stopping Owlbert from flying off.

"Friends! Welcome!" said Tibbles, jumping in front of everyone. "I see you got my postcard."

"Looks like the more sillier variant in play," said Danielle, confusing everyone then whispering it to Eda, Luz and King. "e chi si offende è un gran maiale! Meaning and anyone who gets offended is a big pig."

"Pfft," said Luz, chuckling alongside Eda and King.

"Tibbles? You sent this?" asked Eda, holding out the postcard.

"Mm-hmm," said Tibbles, mimicking the little dance on the card.

"I thought you were still mad at us for destroying your stand," said Danielle, crossing her arms over her chest and staring at Tibbles suspiciously. "Though I am keeping this card. I kind like these things."

"Ooh, and destroying his life!" said King, pointing his finger at Tibbles. "That was the best part!"

"No, no, no. I should thank you. After my stand was destroyed, I reevaluated my life and found my true calling! I'm now ringmaster of..." said Tibbles, before snapping a whip. "Tibbles's Tent of Tiny Terrors!"

"Watch it with that whip," said Danielle, glaring at Tibbles before seeing a tiny aquarium with tiny animals.

"Aww. It's like a regular circus but adorably small!" said Luz, before pressing her face against the aquarium. "You're my friends now."

"I don't buy it," said Eda, sending her staff away. "What kind of con are you running?"

"Shrinking his enemies."

"No cons here, Owl Lady, only pros. In fact, why don't we toast our newfound friendship with this totally innocent bottle of water," said Tibbles, holding out a bottle.

"There's the kick," said Danielle, figuring out what the voice meant. "Shrinking potion."

"What?" said Eda, grabbing the potion and dumping it on Tibbles hat, shrinking it. "Someone is still angry about their stand."

"Ugh," thought Luz, mentally groaning. "I wish I knew what is to happen. Not fair that Danielle does."

"Damn that human," thought Tibbles, eyeing Danielle.

"Now with that out of the way," said Eda, knocking over some vendor's stuff before transforming the stand. "Beat it loser! Step right up to... Eda's Human Horror House! Humans shed their skin and I've got proof."

"You should really put a lock on your closet," said King, staring at Eda holding the girls socks up.

"You know what, Eda can pick through my socks all she wants," said Luz, not minding it at all.

"Says you," said Danielle, before running over and grabbing her socks. "Eda! Can you please not go through my clothes? I only brought a certain amount with me."

"Alright," said Eda, looking at Danielle. "Go have fun with Luz and King."

"Hey, you two," said Danielle, running after Luz and King. "Wait up."

"Now this is my kind of weird! So, what do you wanna do first?" asked Luz, as they walked and looked around. "We could brave the molar coaster, or eat a mysterious blob..."

"Ooh, what's that?" asked King, running up to a prize booth. "Ah! Some kind of deadly string weapon."

"No, silly," said Luz, looking at King. "That's a friendship bracelet."

"Is that a type of deadly weapon?" asked King, looking at Luz.

"Not a weapon," replied Danielle, stroking King's cheek. "They're a decorative bracelet given by one person to another as a symbol of friendship, that is strong and everlasting."

"Exactly," said Luz, agreeing with Danielle while grabbing the friendship bracelets. "It's basically a declaration to the whole world that you're the best of friends."

"Ooh! That's way safer than becoming blood brothers!" said King, looking at Danielle than Luz. "Luz, we must have those bracelets!"

"Trying to make them right now would be pointless," thought Danielle, sighing. "King just wants Luz."

"And yoink," said the Prize Vendor, grabbing the friendship bracelets back. "Sorry, ma'am. If your bone son wants these bracelets, you'll have to play the games and win the tickets. You know, carnival rules."

"Beat up the man and steal his things for me," said King, tugging the cuff of Luz's shorts.

"Or let's just play the games," said Luz, looking at King.

"With three of us playing, we should be able to procure enough for them," said Danielle, looking at Luz and King.

"Oh, okay," said King, grabbing Luz's hands.

"I wonder if Aster would have liked this," thought Danielle, before becoming confused. "Wait, whose Aster?"

"Some of her memories are returning."

"Yes, I would have! Look at all those games… and rides!"

"Huh…" said Danielle, lightly placing her hand against her head. "What's going on?"

"Luz!" said Willow, running over to Danielle and Luz. "Danielle!"

"Hey, Danielle!" said Gus, running over as well. "Hey, Luz!"

"Oh my gosh, I didn't think I'd see carniv-y'all here," said Luz, hugging Willow and Gus.

"Boo," said Gus, giving a thumbs down.

"I'm… going to have to agree with Gus here," said Danielle, looking at Luz.

"I got an invitation from Tibbles," said Willow, holding up the postcard.

"We figured it's a trap since we squashed his stand with a walking house," said Gus, looking at Danielle and Luz.

"And it was," said Danielle, rubbing the back of her neck. "He was gonna shrink us with a potion."

"Oh…" said Willow, stunned before getting excited. "This place has a Scarris wheel."

"It's like a human Ferris wheel but it gives you long-lasting nightmares," said Gus, excited as well.

"After seeing so many things here in your realm," said Danielle, massaging her forehead. "I should be able to handle this Scarris wheel."

"Yes!" said Luz, excited. "This mama is ready for trauma."

"Ahem," said King, gaining Luz's and Danielle's attention.

"Oh, yeah," said Luz, looking at King than Willow and Gus. "We're on a very important quest to win a special prize for King."

"Oh! We can help with that," said Willow, looking at Luz.

"It should go much faster with five of us. Two hundred thousand tickets for each," said Danielle, before lightly touching her head. "Uuh, where that number come from?"

"Aw. Does the little guy wanna win a prize? Uh, does he? Uh, does he?" said Gus, cooing as he wiggles his finger in front of King before Danielle harshly bent his finger. "Ow!"

"Don't do that again," said Danielle, glaring at Gus before letting go of his finger. "King obviously didn't like that neither did I."

"Okay," said Gus, holding his finger.

"Danielle!" said Luz, staring at Danielle.

"What? King didn't like it," said Danielle, looking at Luz. "You wouldn't either."

"Still, you didn't have to bend Gus's finger," said Luz, staring at Danielle than King. "What do you think, King? The more the merrier, huh?"

"Um, sure," said King, unsure. "Whatever you want, Luz."

"All right. Approval!" said Luz, cheering and running alongside Willow and Gus.

"King," thought Danielle, seeing that King really didn't want that. "Well then, I'll just have to be the one to pay attention to King and make sure he has fun."

Danielle and King caught up with the others as they neared a booth. Skee-balls was going great. Danielle had made a tunnel of wind that had King's ball go straight to the highest mark. Though it was spit out and almost came back before Danielle blasted it back. It kept going on for quite a while and tickets kept piling up before the machine's mouth wouldn't open anymore. Danielle caught herself in time before King heard any cuss words. King though would constantly stare at Luz throughout the whole thing. Afterwards, a fried orb was purchased. Though it was finished between Luz, Willow and Gus. Danielle ended up purchasing another and gave the whole thing to King, who just slowly ate it as he stared at Luz. There was a picture board at one point, unfortunately neither Danielle and King liked it when they noticed the one that had King in the trashcan. After that, was the pop the polyp booth. Luz was just basically talking to Willow and Gus. Danielle was getting angrier at Luz throughout the whole thing though made sure to help King up on the booth so he could throw the darts.

"So, the pixie infestation was actually caused when Boscha's pet pixie escaped its cage..." said Willow, leaning against the booth while talking to Luz.

"Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm," said Luz, listening to Willow.

"King," said Danielle, concerned before approaching Luz. "Luz, do you even know what you're doing?"

"Uh, talking with Willow and Gus," replied Luz, looking at Danielle.

"And totally ignoring King," said Danielle, her eyes glowing. "I'm glad that you two are here and everything, really, I am. But…"

"Oh, come on Danielle," said Luz, looking at Danielle. "You're going into your mother hen stage again."

"Listen here Noceda," said Danielle, grabbing Luz by her shirt collar. "I have been paying attention to King this whole time while you just mingled with Willow and Gus."

"Let go," said Luz, trying to get loose.

"Do you have any idea how this is making King feel?" asked Danielle, as her hair begins to shift to a silvery white. "He wanted this to be a Luz and King day. Not a Danielle, Luz and King day. Not a Willow, Gus, Danielle, Luz and King day."

"Will you just let go?" said Luz, as Willow and Gus tried to pull the two apart.

"King wanted a Luz and King day!" said Danielle, glaring at Luz. "You paid no attention…"

"Stop it, stop it, stop it!" said King, getting a little hysteric. "No fighting! Just once no fighting!"

"King! Wait!" said Danielle, seeing King run away. "This wouldn't have happened if you just had paid attention to King as well."

"King wouldn't have run away if you didn't start this fight," said Luz, glaring at Danielle.

"Ya know what… I'm done with this," said Danielle, walking away.

"Planning on going back home," said Luz, watching Danielle. "Fine! I'll learn magic while you go back to Gravesfield!"

"I'm going after King!" said Danielle, turning around and glaring at Luz. "He sees us as his big sisters so I'm doing the right thing by going after him and making sure he's okay."

"Oh, and I'm not good sister?" said Luz, staring at Danielle. "King is around me more than you."

"Aaaah!" screamed Danielle, tackling Luz to the ground. "You little…!"

"This is getting out of hand," said Gus watching Danielle and Luz roll around on the ground.

"Enough," said Willow, utilizing her plant magic to separate the two. "This doesn't help."

"Danielle really is right. I wasn't paying attention either time. Some big sister I am."

"I'm going after King," said Danielle, shrugging off the plants. "Don't follow."

"Yeah… well… who needs you," said Luz, walking in a different direction. "I'll find King without you."

Staring both and forth between Danielle and Luz, Willow and Gus sigh before follow after Luz. They didn't want to be at the end of Danielle's magic knowing what it could do after Luz explained one day that Danielle puppeted someone's arm. Trying to get her emotions under control, Danielle leans against a post trying to catch her breath while gripping her chest. It actually took a while before she could move without feeling pain. Walking down a certain path, Danielle notices that King is with Luz but Willow and Gus were nowhere near by.

"Huh?" said Danielle, wondering where Willow and Gus were.

"Danielle!" shouted Willow, gaining Danielle's attention. "Down here!"

"Willow! Gus!" said Danielle, shocked while bending down. "What happened?"

"King had something in his pouch that made us small," replied Willow, as she and Gus climbed into her hand.

"And I just got tall enough for the rides!" said Gus, sobbing.

"Tibbles!" said Danielle, before standing before letting Willow and Gus slide into her pocket.

Running down the path, Danielle, Willow and Gus search all over for Luz and King. At one point, Danielle had to keep her cute meter in check when seeing Owlbert playing with a whack a giraffe. Taking a breather, since pains in her chest were acting up, Danielle leans against a post. Willow gets an idea when she sees some rotten candy nearby. Urging Danielle to let them take the reins, Danielle reluctantly lets Willow and Gus out of her pocket. It didn't take long for Willow and Gus to enact their plan and started using the rotten candy as a trail towards the house of mirrors to lure Luz and King. After wiping some blood away, Danielle heads in the direction where Willow and Gus were going. Heading inside the house of mirrors, Danielle spots King.

"King!" said Danielle, running over and checking King. "There you are. You, okay?"

"I'm fine," replied King, looking at Danielle. "Just trying to find Luz."

"She's in here, isn't she?" said Danielle, sighing as she stands up. "This is interesting."

"Yeah, the mirrors here do that," said King, staring at a different version of him in the mirror.

"Beta King."

"This one is pretty cool," said Danielle, looking at another mirror and touching it, before seeing that it sparkled. "What the? I didn't just place King in…"

"Danielle!" said King, alerting Danielle and turning around.

"King!" said Danielle, shocked as she stares at King. "Oh, my goodness."

Standing before her, King stood as an eight year old witch. Tanned skin, wild slicked back hair, though still retained his eye color and his horns. Even his collar stayed. Clothes wise though, gray short sleeve tattered shirt with a black sleeveless jacket with a bone white hood over it, and matching black shorts and bone white sneakers.

"Okay… um, let's get you back to normal," said Danielle, touching the mirror only for King to stay the same. "Ooh, my… why isn't it working? Don't tell me it was my magic that caused this."

"Flesh feels so weird," said King, touching his skin.

"Think Eda can help us lug this mirror back to the house?" asked Danielle, looking at King. "This is probably the only way to change you back."

"So, I have to stay like this?" said King, looking at Danielle.

"For the time being till we figure this out," said Danielle, marking the floor so they could remember which mirror to come back to. "Let's go find Luz and the others."

"Okay," said King, as they went down different halls. "Luz?"

"Willow, Gus," said Danielle, following the rotten candy trail before spotting Luz. "Luz."

"Hey Danielle," said Luz, turning around with something in her hands. "Where's King? And who's this little cutie?"

"One guess," said Danielle, looking at Luz.

"Heya, Luz. Good news," said King, holding up the friendship bracelets. "I got the bracelets."

"King?!" said Luz, shocked. "How…"

"My magic may have caused him to look like he did in the mirror and vice versa," said Danielle, looking at Luz. "Meaning while we got witch King, his fuzzy self is in the mirror."

"From one problem to the next," said Luz, before taking a deep breath.

"What problem?" asked King, before Luz showed a shrunken Willow and Gus to him. "Weh?"

"You splashed us with something to make us small," said Willow, staring at King.

"And now I can't go on the big boy rides!" said Gus, before glaring at King. "You monster."

"Y-you weren't supposed to shrink," said King, before getting nervous. "You, you were supposed to disappear. Ooh, no. Wait."

"What?" said Luz, upset with King.

"No, no, no. Luz, I can explain. I wanted to win the bracelets and there was this psychic, see?" said King, holding out a bottle.

"That's the same bottle Tibbles had," said Danielle, looking at King.

"That must've been what did it," said Luz, placing Willow and Gus down. "Give me the spray bottle, King."

"No, wait I-I-I gotta explain," said King, as Luz walked over.

"King, please give us the bottle," said Danielle, bending down to eye level with King.

"There's nothing to explain," said Luz, trying to take the bottle.

"I was just trying to..." said King, not letting go off the bottle.

"Shrink my friends?" said Luz, still trying to take the bottle.

"I was just trying to solve my problems," said King, as the bottle slips and spraying them.

"And it comes full circle," said Danielle, as she, Luz and King shrink. "This goes back straight to you not paying King any attention."

"Not helping," said Luz, looking at Danielle.

"Hi," said Willow and Gus, walking over.

"Wait, I can fix it. Obvioso showed me how. Behold," said King, tapping his cheeks. "Why isn't this working?"

"I'd say it's working quite well," said Tibbles, approaching the group and scooping them up.

"You are bacon once I get loose," shouted Danielle, struggling to get loose. "Not just bacon but cassoeula, cha siu bao, ciccioli, chorizo, fabada asturiana, tonjiru…"

"How many pork dishes are there?" thought Tibbles, as Danielle continued listing various pork dishes.

"What about spam?" asked Luz, looking at Danielle.

"More of a scrapple person," said Danielle, before having to bend over, breathing heavy.

"Danielle!" said Luz, Willow, King and Gus, seeing Danielle in pain.

"Danielle, sweetie. Calm down."

"Mom?" thought Danielle, wanting to curl up in her comforter.

"Tapping my cheeks is supposed to turn us normal. The psychic told me," said King, gripping his shirt. "And now, Danielle is…"

"Oh, did he? But, what if he... lied to you from the start?" said Tibbles, sporting a different look. "Hold on. Lied to you from the start? It's different."

"You fiend. When Obvioso finds out you stole his mustache..." said King, before realization dawned on him. "Oh..."

"The potion was designed by me," said Tibbles, looking at the teens and King. "Guess whose cheeks control it?"

"Why are you doing this?" asked Luz, glaring at Tibbles.

"When you destroyed my stand, you destroyed generations of Grimm Hammer history," replied Tibbles, walking into the nearby tent. "Now it's time to pay."

"So, we…" said Danielle, before Tibbles dropped her and the others into an aquarium. "He must have loved that stand."

"Welcome to the greatest show on the Boiling Isles!" said Tibbles, spotlights hitting the aquarium. "Will these witches survive feeding time? Let's find out!"

"Aw. At least he's still my friend," said Luz, as a brunch of animals walk out of a tent before one unicorn neighs angrily. "That's how friends react."

"No, they don't," said Danielle, as Luz steadied her.

"You ruined my livelihood," said Tibbles, glaring at the teens and King. "So now, you'll feed my livelihood."

"Feed?" said Danielle, looking at the animals. "He must have starved them."

"Great thinking Danielle," said Luz, setting off a Plant Glyph as well to leave various crops for the animals to eat.

"But how do we get back to normal?" asked Willow, looking at Danielle and Luz.

"Okay, what did the textbook say about…" said Danielle, before tittering. "Ooo…"

"Got ya," said Luz, as she steadied Danielle.

"Ah, King, you idiot. This is all your fault," said King, talking to himself as he grabs the friendship bracelets. "But I think I know how to fix it."

"King?" said Luz, watching King climb the water bottle.

"Get down from there," said Danielle, as King stands at the top of the aquarium.

"Willow, Gus, I'm sorry for poofing you. And Luz, I'm sorry for taking away your friends. Danielle, I'm sorry for not including you," said King, looking at everyone. "I know you two will eventually go home and now you're spending more time at school. I just... wanna be around you! That nightmare still messes with my head, it's the reason why I… something took Luz away from me."

"King," said Danielle and Luz, staring at King, concerned as he cries.

"Alright. I only have one shot," said King, wiping his tears away before throwing the friendship bracelets towards Tibbles. "Nyeh!"

"Darn flies," said Tibbles, tapping his cheeks. "Oh no."

"Oh no is right," said Danielle, back to normal size as well as the other, setting off a Wood Glyph and yielding a wooden bat.

"You will pay for this!" said Tibbles, taking out another bottle of shrinking potion before Danielle smashed it out of his hands. "Ow!"

"Oh, no, Tibbles. That's not how entertainment works," said Eda, from behind Tibbles and dumping a bunch of caramel crab-apples on him. "The bad guy always gets his just desserts."

"Oh, no! Not desserts!" said Tibbles, covered in caramel crab-apples.

"Hey, girls," said Eda, getting the animals attention. "This one's on the house."

Looks like we ruined his life for a second time," said Willow, watching Tibbles be chased by the animals.

"We're on a roll," said Gus, smiling.

"I'm sorry, Luz, Danielle," said King, being hugged by Luz. "Demons do crazy things when they've been missing somebody. Also…"

"It's okay," said Danielle, seeing the broken friendship bracelets. "We can make handmade ones. Ones that are more meaningful since we made them ourselves."

"Yeah," said King, tossing the friendship bracelets. "I'd like that."

"One question," said Eda, looking at everyone "What happened to King?"

"I'll… uh… explain," said Danielle, looking at Eda.

After heading back to the house of mirrors and detaching a certain mirror, everyone heads home. Danielle ends up leaning against Luz on the flight back and resting. Once back, everyone hears Hooty and peeks in.

"Boy, fly, we sure get into some wacky hijinks, don't we? Sure feel sorry for anyone that missed seeing us two rabble-rousers getting into scrapes," said Hooty, not noticing the others slowly closing the door with uneasy faces. "Good thing I brought a camera. Yep. Hooty and fly. Together forever. You and me. Every single day… Now I know what friendship taste like. Yum. Taste like a bug."

"I want to forget that," said Danielle, leaning her head into Luz's shoulder.

(This night)

As the girls curl in to bed for the night, King slowly crawls between them. Danielle and Luz smile and pull King into a hug, cuddling him.

"This form is not as bad as I thought," said King, nuzzling the girls.

"You're still going back to your normal fuzzy self," said Danielle, closing her eyes.

"I know," said King, sighing. "Just let me enjoy this for a while."

"Who's still my cutie-pie?" said Luz, pinching King's cheek.

"I am," replied King, rubbing his cheek.

Owl Pellet #35

It has been a few days since his loss again from the human and her friends. No longer ringmaster but scooping up after the animals. Heading towards the Night Market to refuel his desire for revenge, hoping by seeing his destroyed stand. Unfortunately, Tibbles sees that it's been repaired and slightly better.

"What the…" said Tibbles, eyeing his stand and seeing a note.

"It may not be the same like the original but I tried, so… here, I fixed your stand."

"Hmmm," said Tibbles, staring from the note to his stand than back to the note.

"But if you even try and still come after us, I'll sick the Big Bad Wolf on you! Have a good day!"

"Well, at least it's fixed," said Tibbles, heading into his newly fixed stand only to see someone messing with the curtains. "Lacey! What are…"

"Hi, papa," said Lacey, jumping into Tibbles's arms. "Someone fixed the stand. Now I'll be able to run it when I'm older."

"That you will," said Tibbles, hugging his daughter.

Owl Pellet #36

"Danielle," said Eda, watching Danielle in the kitchen. "What are you doing?"

"Cooking," replied Danielle, putting food on the plates.

"Aaw," said Luz, watching Danielle. "I didn't know you could cook already, you little cutie."

"Well, let's just eat," said Eda, helping Danielle into her chair.

"Thank you," said Danielle, before grabbing her fork.

"Down the hatch," said Luz, eating some of the scrambled eggs. "Mmmm…"

"She used sugar instead of the salt," thought Eda, cringing from the taste. "Too much sugar."

"You like?" asked Danielle, staring at everyone.

"I want Danielle back to normal," thought King, trying to swallow his meal down.

Owl Pellet #37

"Uh, Danielle," said Luz, staring at the bedframe in the bedroom. "Did you just…"

"Yup," said Danielle, situating the futon on top of the bedframe. "I was getting a little tired of the floor so I made a bedframe."

"And cleaned the room," said Luz, sighing. "And rearranged it."

"Had to be done," said Danielle, placing the comforter and pillows on the bed. "What else can I do?"

"Those sounds are coming from up here," said Luz, walking up the steps to the third floor.

"You don't think the Owl Beast is trying to take control again, do you?" asked King, staring at Luz as they neared where the sounds are coming from. "Wait… is that… purring?"

"It is," replied Luz, opening the doors to Eda's room.

Before Luz and King, they see that Danielle is kneading Eda's back. All the groaning and moaning that they were hearing was basically Eda enjoying the kneading.

"Go find your own masseuse," said Eda, staring at Luz and King. "This one's mine."

"Mew," said Danielle, before grabbing a lock of hair via mouth.

"Ow, no no," said Eda, getting her hair loose. "There's a knot further… ooh ooh, yeah, right there."

Slowly closing the doors, Luz and King laugh as they head back downstairs. But plan on sneaking Danielle away at one point for their own kitty massages.
