I read "Jo and Laurie: A Romantic Retelling" by Margaret Stohl, it didn't really sit well with me. I thought it was cute, but it did not satisfy my hopes and dreams for Jo and Laurie's relationship. That being said, I decided to write this! Picking up from Jo publishing her novel, this story follows her and Laurie's relationship and how it ultimately leads to love.

His eyes skimmed the letter again and stopped at the words that made his heart clench. 'Come back home, Teddy. Come back to me, my boy.' How could he say no to his girl?
