BOOM* Heavy shockwaves can be heard as the Hunter makes the sprint for the Volcano Manor. Everywhere he passed was hit with a loud sonic boom followed by a large gust of air. As the hunter approached the base of Mt. Gelmir, he spots an enormous amount of soldiers. All armed from head to toe, they were expecting the Hunter to show up soon. Just not so soon. A loud horn can be heard as the Hunter approaches. The soldiers all gather and stand in his way, attempting to prevent him from climbing. But the hunter doesn't slow down at all. Instead he pulls out a large rugged blade and attaches it to a handle part creating a scythe and continues running full sprint. Just before he reached the army he leaped into the air and went flying down with his scythe. *ARRGG* Screams can be heard as he begins tearing through the people in front of him. Left and right he begins slicing down the army. But there are so many of them gathered here, as well as some other forces in the far back. Grafted Scions drop from above ready to stop his rush as well. And in the far back can be seen a Magma Wyvern. Though none could stop the Hunter, the army itself was not the problem in the Hunter's eyes nor was the Doll and her capture. Throughout the battle, the Hunter can be seen staring off at nearby rocks and cliffs. The great ones have begun to move as they want the Doll. Normally the Doll resides in the Hunter's Dream unable to be reached by normal Great Ones. But now that she is in the Lands Between, nothing stops them from capturing her. The hunter is well aware of this. He is also aware that he cannot allow a Great One to be born here.

As the battle pressed on, Great Ones began making their way up the mountain. Amygdala's ,big and small, are all charging up the mountain. Because of their size, they have no problem just climbing up the side of the mountain. The Hunter figures he cannot waste anymore time on these people and that he needs to get going before they reach the top. He puts his scythe up and instead takes out all the Madman's Knowledge he has. Crushing the skulls left and right, insight begins flooding the minds of the army. A large white and blue particle cloud can be seen, and it even affects the Magma Wyvern. As the smoke clears and the army can see again, they start to look around. They look around and up to see at least 5 different Amygdalas climbing the mountain. All of the Amygdalas pause all movement and look down at the people. Even the Magma Wyvern seems terrified with fear. As they stare at the Amygdala, it stares back. Until eventually, one begins shaking erratically. It jumps off the side of the mountain and lands on top of the Grafted Scions. *SCREEEECH* An ear tearing screech can be heard as the other Amygdalas come back down as well. The army can do nothing but stare in fear as the creature begins charging what seems to be a laser. Tearing through their lines, the army breaks up into a frenzy. Some running away and some immediately going mad from what they have seen. The hunter takes advantage of the chaos and begins running once more toward the Volcano Manor. After killing a few more things as well as a Falling Star Beast, He reaches the front of the Manor. He is met by Blaidd who had got here earlier to watch the movements of Godfrey. Thanks to this, he is able to quickly make his way to the Audience Pathway. "I cannot follow any further, as I am unfit to battle them at the moment." Blaidd says to the Hunter while seeming kinda sad. The Hunter places his hand on Blaidd's shoulder and nods. He then walks into the large open area to see a giant serpent and Mohg. Mohg stands there holding the Doll while she lays unconscious. The Hunter walks in and looks directly at Mohg, ignoring the giant serpent laying on the floor.

"Hasten, there's little time... You must hand her over, now!" The Hunter proclaims to Mohg. But he stares at the Hunter and tightens his grip.

"Oh, noble Hunter, who could have foreseen that your frailty would be so delicate?" Mohg begins. "You have already etched your mark upon this world and upon me. Why not cease now? There is no need for this to persist any longer." Mohg looks down at his missing arm and grits his teeth. Though they planned on killing The Hunter, without the help of Maliketh it would be extremely difficult and may even carry casualties. The Hunter looked up at Mohg with disgust and anger. No more words could be used here. While they didn't know how little time they had, the Hunter did. He knew that unless he gets his hand on the Doll, the Great Ones will come pouring in. He charges Mohg pulling out his saw-cleaver and leaping off the serpent on the ground. He swings the saw-cleaver but just before it connects, he changes movements and guards his right side instead. The serpent laying on the floor has moved, and its head is suddenly next to the Hunter. It smacks the hunter, sending him flying into a nearby pillar. The Hunter recovers himself and stares now at the serpent.

"Ahh… Now you see me!" A voice can be heard coming from behind the serpent's head. It turns around to reveal a face on the back of its body. The Hunter just stares at it with a face that says "ew". The face focuses his eyes on The Hunter to bask in his presence.

"So, you are the famed Hunter? You don't appear so formidable to me... Quite feeble, if I must say." Rykard states while slowly closing their distance.

"How about you join me and my conquest to devour the gods!" The Hunter stares at Rykard with open eyes. They share a goal of killing the gods, why wouldn't he be interested. Mohg is enraged at the offer.

"You DARE BETRAY-" Before Mohg can finish his sentence, he is swatted away like a bug. Rykard pulls out the Blasphemous Blade and skewers Mohg straight down the middle. He then picks up the Doll and places it next to the Hunter. The Doll now resting on the floor soundly, and Mohg being killed, The Hunter is stunned. He knows not what to do next. He stares up at Rykard and thinks about his offer.

"You intend to kill the gods?" The Hunter askes while lowering his weapon.

"I intend to devour them!" Rykard answers proudly. "It would aid me in achieving eternal life and assist in my ascension to godhood! I would no longer be a simple demigod!"

The Hunter's demeanor changes as well as his resolve. "So, you're a demigod aspiring to become a god..." The Hunter ,now firmly grasping his weapon, rushes towards Rykard. Rykard was surprised in his own right. Suddenly this person that seemed so weak, is now releasing a dark and thick aura. It is clear how powerful he is. Rykard swings his blade at The Hunter but misses completely. The Hunter jumps and lands on the blade, now running up it. Rykard releases a gut wrenching scream as red skulls arise from the ground. They all begin rushing the Hunter while he is running up the blade. The Hunter slides to a halt and reaches in his pocket. He pulls out some sort of cosmic energy and clasps them in his hands. Raising his hands into the air, beams of cosmic energy begin escaping from his hands and destroying the skulls. Some even damaged Rykard's lower body preventing too much movement. After the beams stopped, he continued to run up the blade, holding his Cleaver in hand. Rykard begins swinging the blade at the surrounding pillars and the ground at attempts to shake The Hunter off. After a while of struggle, he eventually tosses the Hunter up into the air. Using his serpent, he opens his mouth and attempts to devour the Hunter but is only met with multiple bullets to the mouth. The serpent's screams in agony and tries to retreat for now, but The Hunter gives them no time to breathe. He puts his saw-cleaver away and goes back to the Burial Blade(the scythe). He uses the scythe to impale the serpent's lower half stopping it from moving. He then slices it, severing it from the rest of the body. The serpent releases another screech of pain. The Hunter runs and leaps into the air, throwing his scythe at Rykard. The scythe lands in Rykards eye leading to him going into a frenzy. The entire Manor shakes due to the flailing of Rykard. He slithers and launches himself in every direction as a desperate attempt to hit the Hunter. But the Hunter lands on the Burial Blade's handle. He grabs the handle and swings the scythe, finishing the cut and tearing Rykard's face in half. The Hunter falls and lands on his feet as the blood of the serpent gushes out all over. He walks over to the Doll and slowly picks her up being as delicate as he can be. He walks over to Blaidd ,who is still waiting in the Pathway, and he instructs him to show the way to the exit. Before they can go anywhere the Hunter is grabbed by a knight in full gold armor with wings. He dragged the Hunter back into the area where he just killed Rykard and threw him at a nearby wall. 10 more of these knights appear as well as Godfrey.

"As much as it saddens me to witness the fall of Mohg and Rykard, duty compels me. I cannot allow you to persist in this world, and that is in the name of Godfrey, the First Elden Lord!" Godfrey says while slamming his ax into the ground. The Hunter gets back to his feet and prepares to fight. He can immediately tell that unlike the others he has fought, the battle will not be a simple one. As each person in front of him has some sort of insight. He grabs his cleaver and flips it to the long version. Grabbing his pistol he aims it at Godfrey and prepares to charge.
