Sorry for the absence folks, but I've been working on other things. Nonetheless, I'm BACK with a new chapter! Mario and DK are going head to head again, and this is sure to be more violent than their Vine Valley encounter.
Here we go!
Jungle Kingdom
"It's-a me."
Mario's arrival gets the crowd whispering to each other. Who is this man? Why is he here? He looks an awful lot like Jumpman doesn't he? All sorts of theories are flying around.
DK doesn't give a damn about any of them. Instead, he stands on two legs, creating that towering effect once again. "You are no match for me, but you come back for more. It's almost admirable. Your kingdom will remember you."
"I'm goin' back to Brooklyn as a winner."
"..I have never heard of such a kingdom. It sounds cheap."
"Some areas." Mario admits. "People aren't the best either..but who cares? You got-a my dad, and I'm-a gonna kick your ass."
That gets a belly laugh from DK, and the rest of the crowd laughs with him. "Mario Mario. You have guts to joke at such a time." He cuts himself off. "Now you will have to pay for your disturbance."
"Doing what your king wants again?"
"Your father struck first. There is no excuse for that." DK hits a loud clap, echoing throughout the coliseum. ? Blocks scatter across each beam, mixed with brown bricks for extra platforming. "I at least waited until his battle was over to begin anew."
Mario just darts forward! DK looks for a clubbing shot, but Mario slides under his legs! He climbs the back and claws at his ape face, fighting dirty. He tries to wrap his arms around the throat, maybe wanting a submission..but DK grabs the arms and throws him onto his back!
"OOOO!"
That cold beams harsh on the back, causing a couple aches already. Mario doesn't let DK roll over him, instead rolling to the side, and hanging on with two hands. He rolls up behind DK and hops on again, trying to ride him like a bull at the rodeo. Unfortunately, his little shots aren't affecting him much. If this were anyone else, his fists would have a big impact.
"You need new strategy." DK critiques, grabbing the arms and slamming him onto the beam again! DK doesn't let Mario roll away, he grabs him by those red overalls, and hurls him down the beam! He lands on a strip of brown bricks, breaking those and crashing down!
"OOOF!"
A Kong dad covers his sons eyes after the landing.
Mario slams his fists on the beam, trying to take attention away from his harmed back. All he can see above is DK, getting tossed barrel after barrel from the crowd. Some banana peels are added in the mix too. Mario rolls over, but accidentally falls to the beam below! Luckily he lands on his feet, but that doesn't change the massive disadvantage he has.
"Stay down, Mario!" DK yells, sending barrels below. "Your heart speaks more than brain."
Mario spits to the waters below, and forces himself back in it. A couple barrels roll at him, while a few roll down from above. He bounces off each barrel, and uses the ladder as a boost. He gets an unwelcome greeting from a FLAMING barrel, and clings onto the ladder until it passes by. The heat makes the hairs on Mario's face tremble.
He pops himself right back up, spotting DK on the far left. He keeps dodging the barrels, until he hides himself underneath a series of bricks..and a ? Block above him. He jumps up, as an ice flower pops up. He wraps himself on the bricks and twists up to claim it!
Blue shirt. Red overalls. Ice Mario's back! DK hurls the flaming barrels his way, but each one's frozen, shattering all around the plumber. DK leaps down and stomps Mario right back down, through those bricks! He hops up top..and a fan throws him a BOMB.
"Hot! Hot!" DK yelps, getting butterfingers. It slips down the beam below, walking right towards the Italian. He kicks it up from below!
BOOM!
DK stumbles back, smoke blinding his vision. A few barrels break across his face, making him woozy further! He tries to shake off the blunt hits, aiming his fist at the first thing that moves.
Mario doesn't repeat his dad's mistake, leaping up from behind with a dropkick! It sends DK on his knees. Mario hits a sick flip, before bringing his feet down onto DK's head, sending it into the steel beam!
"That's my boy!" Jumpman shouts, doing the signature jump.
Mario doesn't take a bow. He looks to keep the damage coming. DK hurls a few barrels his way. Mario leaps off the first one, gets a higher jump off the second, and does a beautiful corkscrew off the third! He bounces off DK's head, onto higher level bricks! Jumpman looks on proud of his Triple Jump.
Mario finds the second "?" Block. He punches down, but DK's fist wrecks the block ahead! Mario's snagged by his stache, and thrown back down! DK grabs Mario by the ankle and whacks him into the wall, over and over again. He throws him up, and scales the wall himself.
He smacks Mario onto a line of bricks! There's a ? Block next to Mario's head..but that vicious Kong touches down, pounding his chest! The audience follows along, the arena practically shaking at all the impacts.
"OOO-OOO-OOO-OOO!"
"AH-AH-AH-AH!"
Mario sees the block, and raises his arms. "Ouch.." despite the sting on his arm, all that burning, he pounds the block anyway! This was never a fair fight to begin with based off of size alone, so if he can get a new power, that'll even the score.
DK looks above, waiting for Mario to come back for more. "ARE YOU FINISHED?"

ZIP!
A yellow cat blasts past his sight in a second! It's like trying to follow a moving needle an open haystack. No matter where he looks, he can't quite make up the—
SLICE!
Mario scratches DK across his face! The Kong doesn't find it funny, but the crowds laughing along with it.
"KITTY!"
"KITTY!"
"KITTY!"
DK feels the scratch on his cheek. He grits his teeth and takes a big swing, but Mario crouches and delivers a few more to his back! DK looks to grab him, but Mario leaps up front and, and delivers a kickflip to the skull! Everytime DK takes a swing, Mario dodges and lands a shot to the jaw!
Pow.
POW.
POW!
DK's getting blasted left and right by quick offense! Mario clips DK from behind to bring him to a knee. He hangs onto the head, and brings both feet into his teeth, sending him on his back! Mario's neutralizing their hero, much to their shock.
A daughter tugs her Mom's arm. "Mama..he'll fight back right?"
"I no know sweetie.."
Mario glides upward, claws out..and comes down like a rocket, sending DK THROUGH the beam!
Through ANOTHER!
The third layers safe, but not DK, who's on his back, feeling that pain for the first time. Mario crawls onto the Kong, as many gasps produce in the crowd.
"D…K?"
"I dreaming.."
Whispers reach throughout the crowd, the Kongs having to cope with what they just saw. DK can barely smack his lips. "..you have..wounded me, human…but—"
"Give me my dad back. Then I'll letcha' go."
DO grabs his tail. "Second wind." He smacks Mario against the side of the beam! He uses his tail to spin Mario around! He does it so fast that Mario can't even make out his surroundings. He slams him against the beam, then the brick above, then his OWN knee, causing a nasty crack sound at Mario's ribs!
"One day you will find yours."
The Kong wraps Mario's cat tail around his arm, and uses his free hand to deliver a devastating backhand! Mario's dangling off his arm, so DK uses his tail like a lasso, throwing Mario back onto the second beam. Despite his injuries, DK climbs up to see that wounded cat, crawling up a brick. He yanks him back down.
"It is a shame we end. I enjoyed the fight."
He grabs Mario by his scrawny cat neck..and flicks him into the harsh wall. A ringing bell floats away from the man, just leaving his own flesh and bones left. Mario's breathing heavily, exhausted from this hellish fight he's been apart of. He has gotten more offense in, but even though he's wounded the Kong, he's outmatched on power.
Maybe he has to use something else. He sees the ? Block above. Maybe if he can get a shot high enough..he can use the ability inside. Whenever he's on the items, the pain's not there nearly as much.
"I put you out of misery." DK winds up his arm. Mario, wobbly and all, rises to his feet, clutching his shoulder. His overalls are tearing up, he's even got blood seeping across his lip. He wipes that away, and stares defiantly at his first real enemy.
"I can-a do this all day." He stumbles over, and smacks his jaw. "Go for the head."
"As you wish." He swings for that uppercut, but Mario steps away last second! DK smashes the ? block, and a little blue mushroom comes out! Mario didn't look out for the gut punch, sending him back to where he was.
The mushroom lands in front of him. Mario grasps it, and something stands out immediately: "this is-a smaller than the other ones.." DK grabs him by his small head, dangling him in the air.
DICK KICK!
DK yells in pain, getting one of the worst fates known to man and ape. Mario throws the tiny shroom in his mouth, and backs away. DK folds his legs. "WHAT..WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?"
Mario snickers. "It always works."
DK forces his legs back to normal, using his pain now for his next big shot. DK goes airborne, curling himself into a ball. Mario's about to get CRUSHED by four-hundred pounds of muscle! Mario stands back, but hits the wall. Whatever this item does, better not help DK or else he's done for…

DK's legs shrink, getting a gasp from the crowd. Then his arms. His body. His head..Donkey Kong went from the biggest in the yard, to the tiniest. HE'S being towered by Mario this time, and needs to adapt or else..
"I admire—"
Mario picks him up like a little bug, and flicks him away! Straight to business! DK collides with the wall, but bounces off. Mario stomps him into the wall! DK's not dead, but Mario keeps his boot on the Kong, looking to weaken him to all hell!
DK hits the ground, panting like a helium man. Mario punts him into the sky! When DK comes screaming down, Mario juggles him with shot after shot, giving DK a painful blow with left, after right, after left, it may never stop!
Mario grabs a barrel. It colllides with DK in midair, smacking him back down to the beam. He grows to normal size, and is flat on his back, almost unresponsive. Mario doesn't crawl on him again, he just crouches, waiting for his third wind..

.
It never comes.
"That…was…RADICAL!" A surfer Kong exclaims, getting some of the crowd to applaud that fight. It was the most action they've ever seen in the coliseum, and actually broke their suspense. Of course, there are still some angry Kongs in the crowd. Mario accepts the bananas they toss him, but has to dodge the rocks.
"BULL-SHIT!"
"MA-RIO!"
"BULL-SHIT!"
"MA-RIO!"
Mario can't help but smile after all the effort he had to put in. Maybe he's actually earned the respect of some kongs, and welcomes it, even with the ire he'll get from others. "I'm-a really that guy?" He asks himself, before approaching the downed Kong.
"Sometimes you talk too much. Good fight though!"
"G-good…feedbaaa.."
Jumpman grabs his son by the arm. "Love you to death son, but we're outta here." Mario nods, and lifts his dads arm around him, helping him leave too. "That mushroom play was sick."
"It-a was last minute, but there was-a nothing else I could do."
"As corny as it sounds, you gave it your all kid. I oughta stop callin' ya that."
While they head to leave, Cranky crawls up, finally awake after the battle. He gasps, seeing his grandson down and out, all while the humans get to leave. He immediately crawls to DK, nudging him awake. "HEY..he didn't hurt you too bad, right?"
DK squints at the sky above. "I..lost. Hmph.."
Cranky struggles to get the words out. "You were caught off guard, next time you'll—"
"No." DK sets a hand on his shoulder. "It was fair. He outwit me. For that, I honor our agreement."
Cranky takes another look at those Italians leaving. "He'll be back. I've never lost a bet in my life."
A rainbow-colored blob runs through the Italians, the force sending them crashing down below! Mario and Jumpman flail around on the fall, leaving Cranky to take a stand above, no cane needed. He's able to make out the figure.
"You greasy son of a bitch.."
Wario has that aura, a mixture of all colors flipping from one to the other. "
"Bad legs and I'll still kick your—"
Wario shoulder barges him, sending him all the way down too! That just leaves a hurt DK, looking up at a star-spangled Wario. He balls his fists just looking at his new, smug face. "Dishonorable.."
Wario manages to lift the ape like he's nothing, waving goodbye. DK tries to break the grip, but gets a kick all the way down! He crashes through rickety beams, joining his grandfather in the liquid abyss. The crowd around them unites, Kongs jumping from the stands just to take a shot at the traitor!
Wario runs past the shots, breaking each pillar holding the roof up. He takes a punch straight up, but that just breaks the wall behind him! He runs up the wall, looking to snap the last pillar and box them in. Unfortunately, it works, and it comes down on them!

Wario rushes out of the back gate. A whole armada of penguins, with their decades-long King stare a hole through him.
"..Attack."
"NO! NOT FEELING IT!" Wario shouts, bolting out of the kingdom. He's playing by 'work smarter, not harder' getting rid of his obstacles to the first class, but after what he saw, there's more coming. He needs to find a good hideout, or else his momentum WILL get stunted.
Only question is: where?
When he's spotted by a hiding Yoshi, that only equals more trouble…
Right when Mario thought his journey will finally end, Wario comes in and flips everything upside down. He's secured a Power Star. With the Marios, Kongs, and now Penguins aware, Wario's in for loads of heat. Where will he go? Will the Marios and bloodline of Kongs survive? Plus, an update on Yoshi, who's been absent for a while.
