Vanellope glitched through the curtain and behind some miscellaneous props, catching her breath as she let the situation process in her mind. So she was on the run from Stormtroopers in one of the internet's most secure websites, and could eventually have superheroes after her if she didn't get out ASAP. She took a deep and slow shuddering breath, leaning against the cut-out of the Seven Dwarfs she was hiding behind.
"Okay, Vanny", she whispered to herself. "Just gotta slip past an army to get out. Then you will rush to Maybe, and get the heck outta here!"
She took a more relaxed breath. "Just think about Ralph. Just think about the others. Don't let anything get to you…"
She shook her head, and relaxed significantly. Her glitch wasn't as frantic, and her eyes weren't as wild. She was still terrified, don't get that wrong, but she was at least stable enough to focus.
At least, that was until she heard a plethora of marching footsteps coming down the hall past her. Some of the people marching by stopped, talking between each other.
"Where do you think that kid went?" A woman's voice sounded off, seemingly asking a coworker.
"Wilde said he saw her dash in here", another voice, obviously a Stormtrooper, responded. "But where in here is beyond me. This whole place is like a maze…"
"Remember, Nick Fury wants her found and questioned", the first voice said sternly. "So make sure your blaster is on stun. Even if she seems to be a malware or virus of some kind, she's still just a kid. So be careful."
The control Vanellope gained on herself was immediately lost when she heard that. Taken in and questioned? Blasters set to stun? They thought she was some kind of virus! Her heart started to race as she ducked down lower and held back a fearful whimper, her mind running a mile a minute.
"I know, I know…" The Stormtrooper grumbled in annoyance at his coworker. "Trust me, even if I wanted to, the mouse would hate it. This place wouldn't allow that, no matter what."
"Good. C'mon, let's check out the west wing. Maybe she's hiding with Strange."
"He always dragged in whatever he wanted into this site…" The Stormtrooper finished with a sigh, and Vanellope heard them both march off. Carefully glancing around the cut-out, she saw no one around, with dead silence to greet her.
As she looked around in fear, she felt something warm suddenly appear on her face. Putting a hand to her cheek, she was shocked to realise she had started to silently cry, tears running down her face as the stress and anxiety hit its peak. She sniffled and shook her head, closing her eyes and wiping her face so she didn't get distracted. Even with blurry vision, she continued along her way, sneaking through the backstage hallways that bent and twisted around like a mess of wires in a machine.
There was no obvious map anywhere, so she was completely blind at what was where. Which was only made worse by her glassy, tear-filled eyes and the amounting stress that only kept growing more and more.
Occasionally, the racer would have to duck behind any sort of storage or interior decorating whenever someone would walk by, whether it be more Stormtroopers, and of the characters that lived in the site, or what looked to be walking brooms carrying buckets of water in each hand. It was a nightmare.
As she passed by another doorway that led to the site proper, she glanced out when she heard voices not that far away.
"Do you think she got away?" One voice asked, the accent unknown to the candy president. "Because it's been almost been an hour."
"I don't think so", a second voice said. "Clones are stationed at the main exit, with some of Thanos' goons are guarding the exits from the east employee side. And nothing's been set off, so…"
"Well, the whole site's been alerted of this kid, so everyone will be keeping an eye out for her."
"C'mon, maybe she ran off to the Disney Junior section…" The two voices walked off, but Vanellope didn't stick around. The whole conversation she heard freaked her out so much that she just had to get away. She glitched away and into an unused storage closet. She leaned against the door, tears once again silently spilling from her eyes.
This was all too much for her, she just can't handle this. She was completely out of her element, and now she was regretting doing this pop-up stuff so much to the point she wanted to just go right back to Litwack's. Flat out, no hesitation.
But she knew that wasn't right. That she needed to just head back to BuzzTube and everything would be fine. But it was just so hard. So hard because she felt trapped, hunted like it was a twisted game.
She felt ill.
With a shaky breath, she slid down the door and curled up, pressing her face into her knees.
It was times like this she hates how headstrong she is. How stubborn and sassy she is. Because now she was alone in the internet with no safe way to contact Ralph.
Suddenly, an idea flashed in her head. Quickly reaching into her pockets, she began to feel for the walkie-talkie… and found nothing. There was no walkie-talkie. Just her phone.
Somewhat cautiously, she turned it on and opened the texting app, but hesitated over Ralph's name. She needed to tell him, she knew she had to. Yet… she still hesitated. She was frozen as her thumb hovered over his name.
After a few seconds, she groaned quietly and set the device down, pulling her hood up and closing her eyes.
"What's wrong with me?" She asked herself. "Why is it that now I need to have a mental breakdown? Why now when I've got an army after me? Why… Why… Why…" She let out a tired sigh. "After all of this is said and done, I'm taking a few weeks off racing."
With a slow rise, she returned to her feet and reached up to the doorknob. But as she did, she froze again, and let her arm fall limply down. With wide eyes, she looked at the floor as more fear settled in her heart, before closing them, burying the feeling, and opening the door carefully.
She glanced up and down the hallway, keeping a careful ear out for anyone who could be approaching. With nothing but silence to surround her, she left her hiding spot and continued along her way, passing more hallways that seemed to go on forever. She felt trapped in a circle, going infinitely in a loop. All she could hope was eventually she'd find her way-
"Hey!" Vanellope gasped and snapped behind her, watching with a terrified expression as two Stormtroopers ran up towards her. One was seemingly talking into his helmet, alerting all security that she was found. With her fight or flight kicking in tenfold, the racer blasted away down the hall in a blur of teal pixels. She darted around corners wildly with no sense of direction, and everywhere she went there were some part of the security detail running after her.
She was becoming more unfocused and distracted the more corners she turned, to the point she felt she was going to throw up because of the constant movements. She was not used to glitching around this much.
Eventually, she was able to find a grace period, leaning against a pink door as she tried to catch her breath. She looked faint, and her face was a mix of sickly green and a flushed pink. She gagged, trying to not lose it completely right now. But that was a battle she knew she'd lose if she kept going, so she just decided to hell with it.
But she was stopped when she heard footsteps approaching from both ways of the hallway, trapping her to where she was. She started to hyperventilate, feeling even more helpless than she was before.
So in pure desperation, with her back pressed into the door behind her, she glitched into the room before she was caught. But that was a massive mistake, as the moment she opened her eyes from her split second glitching, she found herself in the middle of a large round that was different shades of pink. There were makeup vanities in the wall, following the curve of the room perfectly.
And the worst part was all the princesses were doing their own things in the room, all enjoying their break. They didn't notice Vanellope quite yet, so the racer took a careful step back, only to lock up when the princess in the yellow dress and hair bun, Belle, looked over.
One gasp from her set all the princesses off, and they all ran at the candy president. Cinderella smashed one of her glass slippers and aimed the broken object at Vanellope, Rapunzel brandished her trusty frying pan, Pocahontas and Moana threatenly aimed oars at her, Elsa's magic sparked to life, and all manner of other weapons were pointed at her.
Vanellope's heart lodged in her throat and she was frozen for a moment. "H-H-Hey, take it easy, ladies! I'm not here to cause trouble! Just… I… Uhhhhh-"
There was a gasp, and the redhead next to Elsa, her sister Anna walked over. "Wait, are you the person they sent the security alert out for?"
The racer swallowed thickly in fear. "Y-Yeah. I-I-I am…"
The princesses all lowered their weapons as they looked Vanellope over in confusion. "Really? You're the one who's making everyone go all crazy?" The not-princess princess Mulan said. "You don't look like anything bad?"
"Careful, that's how Hans happened", Elsa droned out, making her sister sigh in simmering anger.
"T-Trust me… I'm n-n-not like that…" The racer was still terrified out of her mind, eyes darting about in terror. The motion made all the princesses relax significantly, before Rapunzel walked over and knelt before her.
"So… What's your name?" The blonde hair princess asked.
"V-Vanellope Von Schweetz…" the candy president stammered.
"Cute name", the princess in the green dress, Tiana said with a light smile. "How come you're here?"
"Uhhhhhhhhh… R-Running from sec-c-curity…" the racer swallowed thickly again.
Some of the princesses, namely the more older and mature ones, started to quietly talk between one another as the younger princesses crowded around the racer.
"You must have been running for a while, you look faint", the Arabian princess Jasmine said.
"Y-Yeah…" Vanellope said as a sudden wave of fatigue hit her. "I think… I think I'm gonna lie down…" Her legs buckled, and she blacked out, making all the princesses gasp in shock as Rapunzel quickly caught her.

Back at BuzzTube, Ralph leaned against a balcony railing that helped him overlook a lot of the endless city of the internet as his videos processed and gained views. Yesss told him things were going smoothly, but still needed him to make some more videos. So after his break, Ralph went right back to being the algorithm's star,
But it was now an hour later, and Vanellope had yet to return. Heck, she hadn't even called or got back to him at all. Even after Taffyta realised she had no walkie-talkie or way to contact them, which wasn't entirely true, but the silence was telling.
Even as Yesss reassured the wrecker that Vanellope was in one of the safest websites of the whole internet because of the security, Ralph was still worried. Because Vanellope was a troublemaker, someone who likes to stir the pot with more chaos. And considering the website she was in at the moment… He wasn't sure she was safe.
Even as Yesss pulled some strings so his videos could make more money than what was usually allowed, the wrecker found himself looking out to the greater internet, a melancholy look on his face.
As he stayed there, letting his thoughts stew, Taffyta walked up to him and looked up.
Even though Ralph was never as close to the other racers as he was with Vanellope, all of them did look up to him in some way. He was like their fun uncle who always found some way to make them smile. And Taff was always finding herself looking up to Ralph in one way or another. He was what made her relax on the whole 'diva-isms' the others complained she had.
So here she was, going to Ralph when he was in a subtle emotional turmoil. Quickly heading back inside and bringing a stool over so she could sit next to him.
"Something on your mind, kid?" The wrecker mumbled absentmindedly as the racer got situated and looked back up at him.
"I just wanted to make sure you're okay, Ralph", she said quietly. "Rancis and Candlehead are doing stuff with Yesss, I wasn't interested, and so I decided to make sure you're okay."
The wrecker very subtly shrugged, his gaze glued to the sprawling city. "I'm doing fine. Just have. A lot on my mind. Grown-up stuff, nothing you have to worry about."
Taffyta pursed her lips, and gazed out to the city. "You say that, but I'm not a complete kid, Ralph. I've been around for 21 years at this point. So whatever 'adult stuff' you're dealing with will be completely fine for me."
Ralph sighed, slumping a bit. "I know, I know… It's just… you are all still kids at heart. I don't need to drag you guys down because of this. But… Alright." He glanced at her out of the corner of her eye. "I'm just worried. Worried that Vanellope is struggling out there. She… You know she's not okay, but… I just feel like I need to shield her from all of that."
Taffyta's face scrunched up in sadness. "Yeah… I haven't seen her like this in a long time…"
"I'm guessing last time was…?"
Taffyta nodded to the unfinished question. "She's been getting better, but sometimes she still has her moments. Do you think she's having one at Oh My Disney?"
"I don't know… She doesn't have any way to contact me, so we're in the complete dark."
Muttonfudge looked down slightly, feeling a bit lost. "Well… Maybe we could just hope she's okay? Because this is Vanellope we're talking about. She's fine… Right?"
The wrecker let an exhausted sigh, slumping against the railing as a sudden wave of stress washed over him. "I really hope so, Taff. I really hope so…"
The duo fell into silence and looked out to the city, with Taffyta's head bouncing with a plethora of different situations and scenarios. Her worry for Vanellope's well being was immense, but she knew she would be okay. She was the glitch, the girl who was able to win in the end.
She still feels like Vanellope shouldn't have forgiven her after everything, but the candy president was adamant because it was all because of Turbo's influence. Because of him literally locking all their memories away, so he could be in control.
Even still, Taffyta had guilt eat at her whenever Vanellope looked at her a bit funny, memories of how she looked when the bullying and vile insults were at their worst. Sometimes, Taffyta would let Vanellope pass her in races because of this guilt she was told not to have anymore.
And now? Taff was thinking Vanellope just needed to get away from her, Rancis and Candlehead. She had her moments where she couldn't stand being around the other racers because of bad memories resurfacing, because she let her hurt take over.
The diva shook her head, clearing it of all the messy thoughts, and left Ralph to his own devices. He was dealing with a lot, and it was clear there was more under the surface he would never share.
As she walked away, the racer wondered if it was related to these mysterious other friends she heard about…
~X~
Vanellope groaned as she finally came to, feeling something soft under her. Shaking her head, she sat up and squinted as the light came rushing before her. She… She was still in the princess' room, only now she was on a massive couch and covered in blankets. Blinking at the oddness of the situation, it finally registered she was all alone.
Not for much longer, though, as the princesses all started filing into the room, looking about ready to relax. Rapunzel, at the front of the pack, looked at Vanellope, and rushed over in relief.
"You're okay, good." The blonde princess looked the racer over, much to the little girl's discomfort. "We were worried you got stuck in a coma or something..."
"Y-Yeah…" Vanellope pulled out of Rapunzel's grasp and rubbed her wrist nervously. "Just… Why am I still here? I though you'd all be the first ones to turn me in."
"Pocahontas and Elsa were the only ones that needed convincing", Tiana said as she sat next to the president, having discarded her dress for something more comfortable. Her hair was down and her crown was discarded as she hugged a pillow. "But after a bit of talking, they decided it was better to leave you here to rest."
Vanellope looked down. "Thanks…" She mumbled quietly, eyelids drooping in weariness.
The first princess, Snow White, wandered over in some comfy clothes like Tiana's and sat on a bean bag she dragged over. "So, Vanellope… Why are you here? It's not everyday the site's security goes this crazy…"
The racer sighed. "I just wanted to help my friend…" She explained. "I was helping by being a pop-up just to get more people to see his videos…"
"You came here to be a pop-up?" Mulan asked firmly, her eyes narrowed. "Let me guess, you didn't have a licence."
Vanellope shook her head miserably. "And so when three of those Stromtrooper guys came up to me, I panicked, forced one of them on the pop-up, and ran."
"Well, that explains that…" Moana said in a mumble. "But why were you even here in the first place? Are you from a new game that just got set up?"
Vanellope shook her head again. "Me and my buddy Ralph came here with some other friends because… because something happened…"
The princesses, all of them changed into more comfy clothes and sitting around, blinked in surprise. "You're not from the internet?" The princess with flowing red hair, Ariel, asked.
"No… I'm from an arcade that just got a WiFi router plugged in…" Vanellope swallowed. "Some kid was playing my racing game, but he was set on breaking my game. So he ripped the wheel out of the only working console out. So me and my friends are here to get a new wheel, or else my game is shipped out at the end of the weekend…
"But… When we went to eBay to get a new one… One of my friends got confused and made it so we needed to earn 30 thousand dollars to get it…"
The princesses all went wide-eyed in shock at the high number. "So… you went into video making to get that money?" Rapunzel asked in growing sadness.
"Not right away. We first took up this guy who was running a loot hunting thing, and that was okay, but we were making money too slowly. So Ralph and I tried to get a high end item. That failed, and then we were pointed to BuzzTube to make money from making videos, and that has been okay…
"But then I was stupid and decided I wanted to help by going on pop-up duty, and the lady that runs BuzzTube sent me here. I was freaked out because a lot of what I was seeing just… hit a cord with me… and then I got security mad at me, and I have no way to call Ralph, and… and now I'm just running for my life till my code just gives up… Till I rip myself apart over all of this…"
The racer curled up as tears began to silently flow from her eyes, leaving all the princesses in silent shock. They all shared looks of uncertainty as Tiana brought the racer closer over.
"I'm… I'm really sorry to hear that, Vanellope", the green glad princess said sadly. "It must have been hard, having your game unplugged like that. And, from all of us, we're so sorry about security being a pain. Trust me, we all hate how overbearing they can be sometimes."
Vanellope said nothing, only glitching slightly as she tried to get her emotions in check. The little mess of pixels made the princesses all look at her in surprise, then curiosity.
"Vanellope…" the sleeping beauty herself, Aurora, started carefully. "Why did you just glitch like that?"
Vanellope sniffled. "I think 21 years ago at this point, when my game was first plugged into the arcade, some monster named Turbo came in. He wanted to be the best racer, so he tried to destroy me by ripping my code out. When he couldn't do that, he made me a glitch and locked everyone's memories away so he could take over my position of princess as King Candy…"
She glitched again at the memory, and curled tighter into herself. "Ralph saved me, and I saved him. Now I'm back with my friends, but the old memories were lost because of how long it was. So… We've been slowly building something new…"
The princesses all shared looks of understanding and then all looked at Vanellope in sympathy. "Well, we can definitely understand, Vanellope", Rapunzel said calmly.
"You… You can?" The racer looked at the blonde princess in surprise.
"I was kidnapped by some old hag when I was a baby", she explained. "She made me typing she was my mother, when she really was just using me for my magic hair."
"I was terrified I'd hurt those I love", Elsa said as she shared a sombre look with Anna. "So I isolated myself in my room, and when it all blew up on my coronation I ran off and locked my kingdom in an eternal winter…"
"I had to be raised by three fairies because a witch cursed me", Aurora explained. "So that when I was 16, I'd prick a finger on a sewing wheel needle and fall into an eternal slumber."
"My husband before we married was turned into a frog by a voodoo man", Tiana explained. "And then I was turned into one, and we had to escape him and get back to normal before we lost everything."
"My people were obsessed by colonists", Pocahontas explained with a stick tone. "And we were nearly forced into war if not for my old friend, John Smith…"
"I wanted to be with humans, so I made a deal with a sea witch to be with them", Ariel explained. "But she took my voice and tried to take over my father's kingdom because of my own… I'll be honest, selfishness."
Vanellope looked over all the princesses, in horror, but discreetly ignored the Merida. Looking at her just didn't feel right. "Oh my gosh…"
"Yeah, we had it rough", Mulan said with a tired sigh. "Even those of us who didn't go through that were just as equally messed up. I saw the aftermath of a whole village and army being massacred."
"My island was dying, and my grandmother died before I had to brave the ocean to save everything", Moana said.
"My stepmother tricked me into eating a poisoned apple", Snow White said sadly. "And that was after she hired a huntsman to try and have me murdered."
"My own stepmother and my stepsisters were abusive", Cinderella said sadly at the memory. "I was a slave and punching bag till I found my chance."
"I was being forced to be married because of laws", Jasmine said in annoyance with an eyeroll. "Before my father's vizier betrayed us and forced me to be his mistress after taking a Genie from my own husband…"
The Merida said something, but Vanellope couldn't understand it because of how thick the accent was. That… That made her feel even more ill. Her Merida, the real Merida, she could understand. This one was just a hollow imitation.
"Wow…" The candy president said in disbelief. "That… That really sucks. I'm so sorry to hear that…"
"Don't be, it's all in the past at this point", Tiana said with a hand wave. "We've learned to move on and accept it. We don't hold on, because each instance helped us become stronger."
Vanellope nodded absentmindedly and looked down. "Sorry about all this dumping, ladies. I just… I've been dealing with a lot."
"It's quite alright, Vanny", Ariel said with a warm smile. "Us princesses have to stick together."
The racer nodded, then looked up at a wall clock. "I… I should get going. I've been gone long enough, Ralph and the others are probably worried sick about me."
"Yeah…" Tiana let her go, and then stood up. "We'll get you out of here, Vanellope, don't worry. There's an exit we usually take that no one else knows about."
At Vanellope's confused look, Mulan smiled lightly. "Hey, we live in the internet. So of course we aren't always going to be prim and proper, sometimes we just want to let loose.
The racer nodded silently, and followed Tiana and Mulan out of the room. They carefully snuck down the hallway, and as they did, Mulan decided to ask something Vanellope was fearing.
"I noticed you weren't looking at Merida all that much", the warrior pointed out. "What, just as off-put by her like the rest of us?"
"Mulan!" Tiana hissed.
"No…" Vanellope said quietly. "It's just… She reminds me a lot of a friend I have right now. The resemblance was to the point where… I was kinda freaked out." That was the truth, which was the biggest screwed up part of all of this.
Mulan winced. "Oh, no, sorry. I… Ever since Merida was added to the princess group, she's been kinda disconnected…"
"Mulan, shush!" Tiana hissed again. "She's trying, it's just you and Pocahontas making it hard for her."
The warrior looked down a bit in shame and guilt, while Vanellope was just completely uncomfortable. Nothing else was said for the rest of the walk, not until the princesses led the racer to a row of bookshelves. Tiana looked down both ends of the hall, then pulled one of the books. To the racer's shock, the bookcase parted to reveal an open passageway.
"This will take you out of the website", Tiana said with a warm smile, gesturing to the opening. "After you get out, we'll tell security you were able to get past the guards, so don't worry. Once you're gone, they'll give up."
"T-Thanks", Vanellope mumbled, carefully stepping into the passage. "I'll… I'll maybe try and visit you guys sometime in the future, after all of this is dealt with."
"You don't have to, Vanellope", Mulan said. "But that is your choice, in the end."
"I will!" The racer said with a burst of energy. "And when I do… I'll bring my friends. I'll bring Taffyta, Rancis, Candlehead and all the other racers from my game to see you guys when we get our game back up and running. I promise."
Tiana and Mulan shared a smile. "Well look forward to it, Vanellope", the green-clad princess said, looking back at the racer. "Alright, you should get going. We'll see you soon."
"Catch ya' later…" Vanellope waved back as the bookcase moved back into place, and when it clicked closed, some torches automatically lit up to keep her from being in complete darkness. With only the sound of the wind rushing through the tunnel, Vanellope's smile fell, and she turned around to look down the tunnel.
She blinked, already feeling more at ease, and marched onward. Her heart felt pained, but she also felt lighter, mind somewhat numb to everything.
She just wanted this whole internet thing to be done and over with.
She was getting homesick.
She wanted to sleep for a week.
She…
She needs to tell Hilda.
~X~
Ralph sighed as he made his way into the filming area of BuzzTube, ready to get some more filming done. As he entered, he was instantly met with a contemplative Yesss, who looked a bit… off.
"Yesss?" The wrecker asked. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Ralph. Just… I've been thinking about a lot while you were on break…" She lifted her glasses and rubbed her eyes. "Honestly, I'm really grateful you've been helping me get my site more viewers. But…" She trailed off.
"But what?" Ralph knelt down to look her in the face in concern.
"Just… You're done. You don't need to make any more videos." The algorithm sighed. "Rancis and Candlehead were talking with me, and Taffyta walked in and told me that you aren't a machine. Here I am working you to the bone with trends you've never heard of, and I start to wonder if I went overboard. I saw an opportunity, and took it."
"Hey, Yesss, it's okay. I get it, you do desperate things when you want something. Look at me, I literally abandoned my game and endangered the whole arcade because I was selfish. But now… Now I learned from that. I'm more careful, and more gentle. You just need to use this as a chance to learn."
Yesss nodded and walked over to a nearby chair, slumping down in it. "I know, and I will, don't worry. Just been thinking a lot, that's all."
The wrecker nodded. "Hey, you ever hear back from Maybe and Vanellope yet?"
Yesss did perk up a bit. "I did, yeah. Maybe said that Vanellope got back to the browser, but she seemed really… off. So I told him to go and have a break, take the two of them out for ice cream or something."
"That's good", Ralph said with a sigh of relief, his hand over his heart. "I was worried for a moment."
"Maybe did say there was something going on at the site", the algorithm said. "But he never found out what. Just that security was suddenly a lot tighter all the sudden." She shrugged, and Ralph felt he had an idea.
The wrecker knew he had to ask Vanellope at an appropriate time.
"Well, since I'm not working… What do I do now?"
"Just walk around, check things out, get users to watch your videos", Yess said with a lazy hand wave. "I'll let you know when you made your money."
"Thank, Yesss." The wrecker turned to walk away. "Oh, and… even after all of this is said and done, you should visit Litwack's at some point. I'm sure you'll love it."
The algorithm looked thoughtful for a moment. "I'll think about it, Wreck-It. Catch ya' later."
Ralph smiled and walked off, hoping to find the other racers so they cajoled tag team this last bit. But as he walked, his mind became heavy.
Heavy for his friend.
Because he knew they were thinking the same thing.
Homesick as heck.
And…
Ralph knew that after all of this…
The others would need to know.
He wasn't looking forward to that conversation.
~X~
And that's chapter 12 done! This was a chapter I was really excited to write, because I wanted to change the princesses a lot. Like, I didn't think it made any sense they didn't know what Vanellope was wearing when they lived on the internet, and had princesses like Tiana with them. Like… they would know what a shirt is.
But I also wanted to have a sort of catalyst for Vanellope's time in the Oh My Disney website. Like, yeah, she would not be okay. Especially with… Merida… there.
Hopefully I captured the dread well, while balancing it out with her past trauma.
And I am glad I got Ralph in there. While his scenes were smaller, it still was important. Especially because we got some Taffyta in there and Yesss in there, which I wanted to do for a bit. This is what I mean about all the characters having shuffled screen time. Shank is a perfect character as is, her stakes aren't as intertwined with this retelling. But Yesss and Spamley? Yes.
On the note of Spamley… Don'y worry! He and Gord will be back soon, just want to let things simmer with him a bit. But he will be back, and he will leave an impact…
Hope y'all liked this chapter! Took a bit to come out because my cousin wanted me to watch her two chinchillas, and they've really distracted me this past week, lol. So there's my excuse!
Up next: Good news finally hits Ralph when Felix, Calhoun and Spamley take a break as Saturday comes to an end…
