Psy-Kick:Ok so Izuku has the Six-Eyes, and on top of that he also has the 10 Shadow technique? Sounds cool, but does he have Limitless too?
Great chapter!
Ant: Yup and no spoilers!
Zaysden StormVoid:Interesting. Very interesting. So, Deku with the powers of Gojo, or at least that's what I assume, but will he have more Curse techniques like Limitless?
Also, no offense to you, but this has to be one of Dumbest versions of All Might I have ever seen. He said to Deku with a straight face that he couldn't become a Hero because his Quirk is not offensive in nature? Did he wipe Sir Nighteye from mind? A guy who's Foresight Quirk is not only not offensively gifted but was also a Pro and his Sidekick?
I hope this is like the start of some All Might bashing or something because with this I don't see Deku ever treating All Might the same after this or accept One For All. Like I'd imagine All Might will later find Deku and say he finds Deku worthy of One for All for what he did saving Bakugo, which I assume he will, but Deku finally grows a spine and rejects All Night's offer.
Also, Will Bakugo finally suffer some consequences for his actions? That therapist really seemed keen on reporting Bakugo and, if Midoriya is below 16, which I believe is the age of legality in Japan currently, then Izuku's input or permission might not be needed for charges to be brought up against Bakugo, especially if Inko learns of this.
But overall, an interesting start and I'm hooked.
Hope to see more of this soon!
Ant: I actually don't think All Mights choice was a dumb one. Regardless of Izuku's quirk he still attempted suicide and is clearly not right mentally which even slightly affects his enrollment conditions at UA. If I was in his shoes I'd dissuade Izuku from going into hero work as well, not in his mental state anyway. Bakugo gets his don't worry
MODdenial:Okay so, either you're trying to set up Katsuki for the redemption are to end all redemption arcs, or you're making it all the more satisfying for us when he gets his comeuppance.
I don't know how you redeem him, but please don't take it a challenge. I'd rather not have him redeemed considering how personal he's making this.
Ant: Katsuki is a plot device in this tbh. I don't hate the guy I actually kinda fw him in the recent material but I needed a POS for stuff I have planned for later and Katsuki just fit the bill. I don't think he'll get a redemption ark tbh but if he does it'll go from Izuku saying "I hate Katsuki" to "Katsuki is a classmate I have a dislike for" and that's IF I do it.
Zekuran:Highly unrealistic. Medical professionals have a legal obligation to report incidents like what you described regardless of the individuals feelings. In point of fact, as a minor Izuku doesn't even get to decide whether charges will be pressed. Honestly, it's bad enough that as bad as he is in Canon Bakugo is never paired with consequences, why do so many fanfic authors feel a need to write him as being worse?
Ant: "Highly unrealistic" Dawg they shoot lasers from their tum tums it already isn't the most realistic. And regardless in a society with powers and a profession based on these powers, I don't find it "Highly unrealistic" for the authorities to not care about one of the area's top hero prospects (with a spotless record mind you) getting into a scuffle with a student and going a bit overboard. Shit like that exists in the REAL world. If you don't like how I handle authoritative figures in this fic then womp womp I'm not holding a gun to your head and telling you to read.
3headed-dragon:Another problem in Izuku doing this is that it kinda tanks Izuku's hero career before it even starts as I can't see a real therapist allowing Izuku to attend ANY Hero School in fear of Izuku getting himself killed due to his current mindset. Which is basically Izuku having ZERO sense of self preservation, because let's be honest there is a difference between risking your life and throwing it away.
Ant: Your entire review was amazingly written and insightful keep it up twin but I really wanted to focus on this chunk here because you literally predicted a plot point chapters before it really stands out. Izuku has no sense of self preservation in this fic(the start at least). The incident with his attempted suicide DOES reach UA and they DO react to it but that's for next chapter.

Besides that I just wanna let y'all know the pairing is alr decided (no harem cuz ion like writing em) and if y'all think Bakugo suck now???….mannnn
WORD IS BOND!!!!
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! YOU COULD'VE BEEN HURT, OR WORSE, KILLED!" The greenette cowered under the gaze of the larger hero chewing him out, eyes shifting toward his blonde tormentor before returning to his own hands.
"Back there, it felt as though those two dogs were a part of me, an extension of myself. They listened to me when I commanded them to attack and once the fight was over they dispelled back into me. Is it my cursed energy? Am I able to make other animals? How would I even go about summoning them again?"
"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?!" The voice shook Izuku out of his internal ramblings, causing the boy to retreat further into himself.
"Y-Yes sir! S-Sorry sir!" He managed to stutter out, his all-seeing blues desperately trying to avoid the hero. With a sigh, the man rested one of his hulking arms onto the boy's lithe frame, causing the teen to shift his nervous gaze to meet the hero's worried, but still scolding, one.
"Look kid, it might not seem like it but we are thankful for your help. If it wasn't for you the hostage would've ended up dead long before All Might could've saved him but regardless what you did was irresponsible and very easily could have gotten you killed alongside your classmate." Death Arms scanned the smaller boy, noticing the mix of happiness and disappointment flashing over his features.
Izuku dropped his gaze once more, repeatedly flexing his palms while studying the minuscule cracks in the pavement below.
A small smile weaseled its way onto the pro hero's face before he spoke once more.
"That being said, your quirk has immense potential. I know you're eager to save lives with it, which is admirable, but wait until you at least have your provisional license" Izuku's eyes instantly shot up to meet the pros, tears welling within them as he held back a sob.
"Y-You t-think I I can become a h-hero?" He was barely able to get the question out without sobbing as the hulking hero's smile widened.
"Without a doubt."
"A new quirk development? I'm surprised you didn't follow your energy manipulation theory earlier" Dr. McKnight flashed the boy a warm smile as he watched the teen eagerly vibrate in his seat.
"I thought about it but for so long I've been told that my quirk is restricted to solely vision that I'd given up on trying to expand into areas outside of my eyes. I knew I could see cursed energy but I had little faith I could actually use it" The therapist nodded his head, taking note of how the boy's nervous stutter seemingly disappeared whenever he spoke of topics that interested him.
"I see. So have you been able to summon your hounds again?" A look of disappointment briefly appeared on the greenettes face before his previous elation made itself known once more.
"I haven't, not since I s-saved K-Kacchan" Upon mention of his ash blonde classmate, the nervous shutter returned, and his gaze shifted toward the hardwood floor.
Dr. McKnight ran his fingers through his locs as he sighed. He'd meant to steer today's session away from the boy and focus on the things that Izuku enjoyed but clearly, the universe had other plans.
"Have you been taking my advice, Izuku?" The older man's hazel eyes withheld nothing but concern for the hero hopeful who began to fidget in his seat.
"I-I have. I a-asked for a new schedule and I a-avoid him as much as I c-can" The therapist hummed in approval before copying what his patient said onto his clipboard.
"That's great to hear, Izuku; although I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little upset that he got off with less than a slap on the wrist" Frustration made itself apparent on the older man's brow as his fingers combed through his locs.
"T-Thank you for not r-reporting him"
"You're out your damn mind if you think I didn't" Izuku couldn't understand the man's native tongue but the frustration on his therapist's face allowed him a good idea as to what was said.
"Y-You reported K-Kacchan?" Fear. Pure unbridled fear overtook the lithe boy causing him to shake in his chair, the wound on his chest stinging angrily. Dr. McKnight sighed as he leveled his gaze at his patient.
"Look, Izuku, even if I didn't want to file a report I legally have to, especially after your mom motioned to file one as well." What was meant to calm the boy down only intensified his fear tenfold as he began to hyperventilate.
"W-What d-does this mean for his h-hero c-career? Will he get in t-trouble?" The American man sighed deeply once more, annoyed not at his own slip-up,
But by how concerned the boy sounded.
"Unfortunately as you were both minors at the time, and his record had been spotless prior to the event, they labeled it as an accidental quirk misfire so as to, and I quote 'Protect the future of a bright young man from being snuffed due to a single, unprecedented accident'" The doctor combed his fingers through his locs once more, humming a small tune to himself to keep his anger towards the situation from spilling out in front of his patient.
Izuku didn't know whether to be relieved, or disappointed.
"Ready to go home, Izu?" Inko received a nod from her son, the boy still shocked at his therapist's revelation to properly articulate sentences. The duo began walking, passing under a plethora of blossoming flowers on their way home.
"Excuse me, would you be Izuku Midoriya by chance?" A strong voice interjected the comfortable silence the two had established, causing the mother and son to turn on their heels, hoping to put a face to the voice.
"And you might be?" Inko's tone was wary as she eyed the man in front of her, quirk flaring to life just in case she needed to attract a weapon to defend the two. For what seemed like hours the two adults stared each other down, emerald green eyes matching charcoal black.
Eventually, the man spoke.
"The name's Aoi Todo" His tone of voice was relaxed while his eyes lost the intensity they had during his staring match.
Inko however, was still wary.
"And what business do you have with my son?" Her tone hardened as her brow furrowed further at the muscular man before her and her son.
Aoi scrunched his brow slightly while stroking his chin, as if in deep thought, before answering the question.
"Izuku Midoriya, what kind of women do you like?"
He barely registered the small, but fast, steel pipe that collided with the back of his skull.
Inko stood with her fist raised, a slight green glow encompassing both the appendage and the, now-dented, steel pipe.
"I-I don't know who you are or what you want with my son but I think it's best you leave before I have to call the authorities!" As if to emphasize her point, Inko began to levitate a number of small objects around her while simultaneously dialing 110.
With blinding speed, Aoi dropped to his knees and began apologizing rapidly to the shorter, but shockingly frightening, woman.
"W-Wait! I wanted to speak to Midoriya about his quirk! It's scarily similar to the quirk of someone I considered a dear friend!" Immediately, Izuku's eyes widened as the teen began to vibrate excitedly at the revelation.
Upon seeing her son's excitement, Inko hesitatingly released her control of the makeshift weapons before pocketing her phone and lightening her glare at the man.
"Let's speak elsewhere."
"You want to train Izu?" Inko dried her hands off with a dry rag before settling herself at the table, watching the two teens(?), Inko was unsure of the taller boy's age, eat the Shogayaki she'd prepared after they'd arrived.
The older teen(?) nodded in affirmation before stuffing another piece of pork into his mouth.
"Mmmhmphh!" His poor attempt at speech was punctuated with a firm nod before he added another piece of pork into his mouth, barely finishing the previous one.
Inko couldn't help but smile at the stranger's antics. He was almost a complete parallel to Izuku. While her son was lithe and pale, this teen was muscular and tan. Even the way they ate was in complete opposition to one another. Izuku ate rather slowly, enjoying the flavor of the pork mixed with the onion and ginger while Aoi focused on getting as much food into his stomach in as little time as possible. Shaking away her thoughts, she waited for the larger boy to swallow before asking her follow-up question.
"And you want to train Izu because he has your friend's quirk?" The skepticism in her tone wasn't missed by Aoi who sighed and set down his chopsticks.
"Yes; well more specifically he has the quirks of two of my friends, both deceased." The hulking man's voice was nearly as heavy as its speaker, a cold expression replacing the playful one they'd seen seconds prior.
Inko's eyes widened as she nearly choked on the air entering her lungs.
"A-Are you serious? I'm so sorry for your loss!" The woman reached across the table and gently grasped the larger teen's calloused hands in an attempt to comfort him.
"It's alright Mrs. Midoriya. And yes I'm deadly serious, Izuku possesses the quirks Six Eyes from my former teacher, Satoru Gojo, and Ten Shadows from my friend Megumi Fushiguro." The two Midoriya looked over towards one another, Izuki far too stunned to speak.
"I-I have the quirks of two dead people?! How is that possible? Did they die and then I got their quirks or did they die because I got their quirks? It can't be the former because, despite his muscular structure, Todo looks about two or so years older than me which means it's the latter…Did I…did I kill his friends by gaining a quirk? No! That's unlikely, it's probably a coincidence! More likely than not they were alive up until recently, especially judging by Todo's reaction. He probably contacted me not because I may have a possible link to their deaths but because our quirks were just too similar to ignore!"
"Izu, sweetie, you're mumbling again" A blush crept its way onto the greenettes face as he mumbled an apology. The two green heads turned toward a shocked Aoi Todo who was currently opening and closing his mouth as though he was a fish.
"He deciphered all of that with little to no context?! Kid's got one helluva brain on him!" With that Aoi's resolve steeled.
He was so gonna train this kid to become the #1 hero.
After a solid week of begging his mother, Inko allowed Izuku to be trained by Aoi Todo in preparation for the UA entrance exams.
And Izuku really wished she hadn't.
"ONE MORE LAP YA WIMP!" The greenette almost groaned upon hearing the voice of his trainer.
Upon being allowed to begin training, he immediately dragged Izuku to a nearby beach-turned-illegal dumping site to start his physical conditioning.
And Izuku really didn't like physical conditioning.
"Your second quirk, Ten Shadows, allows you to summon a variety of shikigami using shadow puppets. You start out with the two Divine Dogs you used against the slime thingie but the rest of the animals you have to exorcise to use." The two currently sat criss-cross apple sauce as Aoi gave Izuku the rundown of his new quirk.
The greenette eagerly wrote down every word Aoi spoke in his notebook, a smile touching each corner of his mouth.
"So that's why we're starting with physical conditioning rather than quirk control! If my body isn't strong enough I won't be able to exorcise the rest of the Shikigami. It also has the added benefit of getting me into proper shape!" Izuku's grin grew even wider.
His dream was becoming a reality.
"You want me to exorcise Nue?" Izuku asked for clarification. The teen was currently holding a plank while staring down at his notebook, pouring over Aoi Todo's patented Fastrack to Special Grade: Ten-Month Workout Plan for Reaching The Top for the umpteenth time.
The older teen nodded while mindlessly scrolling on his phone from his position on Izuku's back.
"It's been six months already and you've made huge strides in that short amount of time, I think you're more than ready to tame your next Shikigami" Izuku couldn't help but grin at the compliment.
In just six short months, Izuku had made a jump in weight while conversely losing most of his baby fat, leaving his jawline more defined. He'd also begun growing out his hair, the black and green strands pulled back into a bun to avoid obstructing his vision.
Steeling his resolve, Izuku nodded in affirmation.
"If you think I'm ready then I'll do it Todo-Sensei!" Aoi grinned at the boy's new-found confidence. Over the course of the six months, he'd noticed that Izuku's nervousness all but disappeared when doing things remotely hero-related.
Removing himself from the boy's back, Aoi allowed his protege to stretch and gain his breath.
"So how do I exorcise Nue?"
"I dunno"
"You dunno?"
"Nope" Popping his p, Aoi watched as the boy sunk to his knees in despair, saddened by the thought of using only one of the many Shikigami included in his new quirk.
"But I do have an idea" Izuku's expression brightened immediately as he shot up to his feet, ready to climb the next step of his new power.
"What's the idea?" Aoi stroked his chin for a few seconds before answering, as if a lightbulb had gone off in his head.
"Whenever Megumi tried to summon Mahoraga it would start the exorcism ritual as he hadn't tamed the beast prior. So I'm thinkin' all you have to do is make the shadow puppet, call out the Shikigami's name and it'll start on its own!" Aoi wiped the bottom of his nose smugly at his theory while Izuku thought it over, coming to his conclusion pretty quickly.
"Let's do it!"
As soon as he shouted the Shikigami's name, the bird materialized behind him before swiping one of its razor-sharp claws at Izuku, the teen narrowly dodging. Using the momentum from the dodge, Izuku put distance between himself and his opponent via back handspring before brandishing a three-section staff.
"Playful Cloud?" Izuku stared at the red three-section staff Aoi had put into his hands before looking back toward his mentor.
Said mentor began to stretch his legs and back before answering the boy's question.
"It's a special weapon imbued with a hardening quirk, you'd be hard-pressed to find something even half as tough at that staff."
"A-And you're just giving it to me?" Aoi's face fell slightly before a small returned to his face.
"Of course not. It belonged to a good friend of mine" Izuku's face slightly fell but, nonetheless, he was happy Aoi wasn't just giving him something so po-
"You have to earn it!"
"…wha?" The greenette was in shock at potentially receiving something so powerful two months into his training.
"As a Shikigami user, your opponents will expect you to stay behind and let them do all the work, you'll do the exact opposite, however, and use that expectation to lure them into a false state of security. When they least expect it you can rush in and finish them with your hand-to-hand. Once you can show me proficiency with not just that basic tactic but also Playful Cloud I'll officially pass this weapon onto you." Aoi looked toward his student, said student's face filled with determination and pride rather than shock and confusion as it had been prior.
"Yes, Sensei!"
Connecting the sections to create a full staff, Izuku swung Playful Cloud in a tight, swift motion, knocking the attacking claw to his left. Quickly switching stances, the greenette sent a right leg switch kick into the torso of the avian creature sending it flying to his left.
"This honestly isn't so bad"
An arc of green lightning struck the boy sending him barreling to the ground, convulsing in pain. Seizing the opportunity, Nue sunk its razor-sharp claws into Izuku's flesh, tearing out a chunk of the greenette's mouth before tossing it up,
And eating it right in front of the boy.
Izuku scampered to regain his footing as fear and pain wracked his body. However, no matter how much pain he felt, no matter how much fear he felt in his very being, Izuku refused to give up.
With a flick of his wrist, Playful Cloud separated into three sections once more allowing it a greater degree of flexibility than its fully formed counterpart at the cost of range.
"Nue isn't dumb, it knows to either avoid or disarm me to put me back on essentially uneven footing. I'll use that, just like sensei taught me!" With a fierce look of determination on his face, the greenette awaited for Nue to dive in and claw at him.
And once it did, Izuku struck.
Tossing the staff into the air, Nue flew right into it, wrapping the weapon around her wings and sending her to the ground. Capitalizing on her weakened state, Izuku quickly coated his fist in cursed energy before slamming it into the skull of the Shikigami
Exorcising it.
Just like that, his ten months were over and greenette found himself standing in front of UA, standing in front of his dream.
"Are you excited Izuku?" He heard his sensei ask from beside him. The greenette eagerly nodded as his hands grazed over the comforting feeling of Playful Cloud's carrying case that was strapped to his back.
Turning to Aoi, Izuku gave the older teen a deep how of gratitude, long green hair touching the asphalt.
"I-I owe this a-all to you sensei! Thank you!" Izuku all but shouted. Aoi looked down at his bowing protege for what seemed like hours.
Before releasing a hearty chuckle.
"Look, Izuku, over the last ten months I've rejected you as a student"
Izuku's face fell as tears welled in his eyes.
"And I've embraced you as a brother!" With a flex of his muscles, Aoi's shirt shredded to pieces as he embraced his brother tightly.
Izuku's tears now flowed freely, his newly muscled arms returning his sen- no, brother's embrace. The two stayed locked in their embrace for a while, ignoring the onlookers and their comments, before separating so as to allow Izuku to continue his path as a hero.
"One more thing, little brother" Aoi rested a hand on his younger brother's shoulder as a hardened look fell over the man's features.
"Y-Yes? What is it?" The teen began to sweat, internally panicking at what got Aoi so worked up.
"What kind of women do you like?"
Izuku nearly fell face-first onto the pavement.
"W-Why a-are you a-aski-"
"Just answer the question, little brother" The larger man's face steeled itself even further as his eyes bore into Izuku's soul.
The greenette just gave in.
"I-If I I had to s-say it'd be a h-headstrong girl…with a n-nice a-ass…" He attempted to mutter the last part to himself as a blush crept its way onto his face.
Keyword attempted.
"Not a big boob guy are you?! It's ok little brother I completely understand, now to CRUSH that exam!"
He wished he could disappear into the shadows and hide away.
"To be fair with Ten Shadows I guess I can disappear into the shadows…"
Unbeknownst to him, a lavender-haired girl had heard the entire exchange and was almost as, if not more, red than Izuku's boots.
Izuku was not having a good exam so far. From almost falling to being sat next to Kacc- Katsuki, to being chewed out in front of the entire exam hall, he really just wanted to get the practical portion over with as fast as possible.
And that's exactly what he did.
As soon as the greenette heard the word go, he steeled himself and made a mad dash into the exam grounds, searching for any robot he could gain points by defeating.
Meanwhile, the rest of the examinees just stared as though entrapped in glue.
Present Mic sought to rectify that.
"WHEN YOU'RE A HERO VILLAINS WON'T GIVE YOU A COUNTDOWN NOW GO!" His rousing speech seemed to snap the contestants out of their stupor as they rushed into the exam grounds, desperate to catch up with the greenette.
There was no way they were catching up with him.
Using a mix of Playful Cloud and Nue, Izuku was able to take down a variety of robots with relative ease, especially once he figured out that Nue could strip their plating with her claws and fry them from the inside out.
After taking down a sizeable number of robots, Izuku sat on the ledge of a building with Nue, scratching right behind her right ear, causing the bird to coo
"So with that 2 pointer that I destroyed, that leaves me with…" Izuku attempted to count on his fingers but couldn't for the life of him figure out the number of points he had acquired.
"I'll go get more, just to be on the safe side" Standing from his spot on the ledge, Izuku stretched his body, ready to make a safe, controlled descent from the building.
Until an earthquake collapsed the building in on itself.
Thinking quickly, Izuku grabbed his staff and leaped from the building, the familiar talons of Nue snagging onto his clothes before carrying him away from the wreckage.
"What was that?"
"IT'S THE ZERO POINTER!"
"EVERYONE RUN!"
"I REFUSE TO DIE IN A SCHOOL, EVEN IF IT'S UA!"
The greenette turned his head towards the direction the crowd was running from, spotting the abomination that caused his building to implode.
"Holy shi-" The greenette turned to run away from the behemoth just as his testmates did,
Until he heard a voice.
"Please…help" The voice was familiar.
"It's the girl who stopped me from falling!" The girl was trapped under rubble that was presumably too heavy to lift without her quirk. Without a single thought flowing through his head, Izuku rushed the behemoth and jumped, pouring cursed energy into his legs, fueling his ascent.
"I'll show you why my big brother put so much trust in me!" Cocking his arm back, Izuku sent out a devastating blow that tore a hole into the Zero Pointers head.
"Divergent Fist"
