Chapter XXI.
Last Time.
"Thank you for everything. Merry." It suddenly started snowing as the S.H.C. remembered their time with the Merry.
"I'm sorry." They heard a female voice apologize.
"I wanted to carry everyone a little farther," Merry said to them.
"I wish our Adventures would never end. I'm so-!" Luffy interrupted her.
"No Merry you have nothing to apologize for. It's us who should be sorry." Luffy started crying. "We've crashed you into icebergs, and I ripped your sails. Zoro and Sanji are bakas (Idiots) too, breaking things. Usopp tried his best to fix you. But it wasn't good enough. If anyone's sorry... IT'S US!"
He finished as everyone wiped their tears.
"Don't worry, I was happy, I know you treated me well... Thank you. Even if our time was short... I'm glad I spent it with you." Merry finished as the fire covered her.
"MERRY!" Luffy screamed out to the sky.
Now.
Two Days Later, Water 7.
Two days have passed since Aqua Laguna, the battle of Enies Lobby, and the tearful passing of the Going Merry. The Straw Hat Crew took this time to gather their thoughts. Water 7 inhabitants took this time to resume their lives.
Naruto, wearing black pants, boots, and dark red button shirt was jumping across the rooftops after getting food as to hide from the Marine that was searching the surrounding islands for them before seeing Zoro sitting on a rooftop, holding the rusted ruins of Yubashiri.
Water 7's backstreets begin their annual process of rebuilding, though the ferocity of this year's storm has left a lot more damage than usual, leaving some to wonder if they'll be able to fully repair the damage before Paulie leads a group of Galley-La Company shipwrights from Docks 3 and 5 in their off time to help in the rebuilding effort with a goal of fixing everything within a month.
Iceberg's HQ.
Naruto landed by a window of the recently build room to hide the Straw Hats and went in. He saw Luffy wearing a white Galley-La shirt was sleeping at the table and was still eating everything on the table as Nami sat very depressed at another table wearing a yellow mini-dress with a hood and her orange high-heeled sandals
Gina sat opposite of Nami wearing a blue hooded dress and black strapped high heels.
Before he could say anything, Kokoro came in from outside the hall with Chimney, Gonbei, and Yokozuna who got stuck in the door frame and then went to sit at an open window outside as Sanji walked over wearing a pink shirt and red tie.
Kokoro then tries to talk to Nami to let her know their Log Pose should be set in about three days. But sees the aura of depression as not only are they without a ship, but all their belongings were in a hotel that got destroyed by Aqua Laguna.
Suddenly, the managers of the hotel arrive with the Straw Hats' belongings. Nami is overjoyed: particularly since her precious mikan trees are safe. They explain that after the Iceberg attack, they'd confiscated their belongings figuring to turn them in as pirate loot, and as a result, everything survived the storm.
Just then Robin and Chopper arrive with bags from shopping.
Robin is wearing a tight-fitting, pink t-shirt that has the Galley-La emblem at the front and a pair of black trousers. She also has a pair of white high-heeled shoes.
Chopper is wearing a blue Galley-La shirt and white shorts.
Chopper walked inside as Sanji quickly took Robin's bag who ignore him and walked up to Naruto and smiled before kissing his cheek. "I missed you."
"I missed you too," Naruto replied with a smile before dodging a kick from an irate Sanji. "Don't do that."
He walked to the table just as Franky, Kiwi, and Mozu barged in. "Wow, baby! You guys feeling SUPER?! Oh, some folks ain't here."
"(Sigh.) What do you want?" Naruto asked leaning on the table.
Franky gained a serious expression as he pushed his glasses up onto his forehead. "You better listen close, because I'm only going to say this once." He and the sisters sat down cross-legged before he looked to them.
He tells them the story of the Treasure Tree Adam: about how it stood tall even as countless cities fell beneath its huge canopy. And the wood of this tree, Adam Wood, is said to be among the strongest in the world but also extremely rare as pieces of it only fall off infrequently.
He explains that the reason he took their 200 Million was to go to a black market to buy a supply of the wood.
"So you stole our berries to get some freakin' wood?"
"Urisai! (Shut up!)" Franky yelled as he pounds his fists on the floor.
He continues to explain that for many years, he'd sworn off shipbuilding after his Battle Frankies that he would build as a teen were used to frame his teacher Tom. He explained the desire to build never fully left him, so he ended up drawing plans for one last ship: a dream ship as grand and as daring as Tom's most famous creation: Gold Roger's Oro Jackson. And that he has the plans, and now he has the materials, so now, in apology, appreciation, and recompense, Franky announces that he will build the ship for the Straw Hats.
That got the Straw Hats to celebrate. "You're gonna give us the ship free of charge?" Sanji asked the shipwright.
"'Free of charge?' We paid for it!" Naruto spoke up as he picked his straw cowboy hat up from the table and placed it on his back. The chin cord keeping it in place.
He then walked to a wall and leaned against it as they continued to talk.
Across The City, Zoro.
Zoro was running back to the others after seeing Marine ships land in the port.
"Damn it! I didn't think they find us so soon! I got to warn them before it's too late!"
He turned down an alley and came across the rocky area where they docked the Merry when they got to Water 7. "No way! The ocean? I can't remember… Was it the other way?!" He ran back through the alley. And a few minutes ended right in the same area. "Nani?! (What?!) (Pant, pant.) Not again! Damn, the stupid ocean's everywhere! This sucks!"
He ran away and a few minutes later ran right back. "What the hell is going on here? Don't tell me this is the same beach? I don't have time for this crap!" He yelled out as two boys walked up.
Iceberg's mansion.
A group of Marines walked inside pas the one in front pushed the crowd out of the way.
He is a tall, tanned, broad-chested, muscular old man wearing a dog mask. He has a beard and a scar over his left eye. He has blue eyes, and his hair is gray. He has special shoulder-pads; one black and the other red. He has three black stripes on his epaulets.
This is Garp, a Marine vice admiral, and the Hero of the Marines for capturing the Pirate King Gold Roger.
Three people walked closely behind him as he walked to the wall of the room where the Straw Hats are resting in.
The first is a young man standing at Luffy's height and is thin. He has a cross-shaped scar above his right eye. He has pink shaggy hair.
He's wearing a standard-issue Marine jacket, pants, and neckerchief as well as a brightly patterned bandanna worn tied across his forehead. He has glasses that are resting on his forehead.
This is Coby.
The second man has a cleft chin and is wearing a white shirt with a pale green vest over it, purple pants, black gloves, and a rather odd-looking black visor.
He also has long blonde hair tied back into a ponytail.
This is Helmeppo.
The third and final man is tall, roughly half a head higher than Garp. He has short hair, wearing a marine coat, which is draped over his shoulders. He has a matching beige suit and hat, with the hat covering his eyes in a shadow.
He has his katana on his left hip, attached to his belt with a brown strap. The sword has a grey-wrapped hilt, a golden rounded-cross shaped tsuba, and a deep green sheath.
He seems to wear an apparently perpetual scowl on his face due to the corners of his mouth always pointing downwards.
This is Bogard, Garp's right-hand man.
Garp went to the window to the room and pulled his fist back before punching a hole in the wall.
Inside, Naruto was sent flying having been leaning on the spot Garp had punched and hit the hallway wall.
"Son of a bitch that hurt!"
"What the hell?!"
"What's going on?!"
"Pardon me," Garp said walking in through the cloud of dust he created. "But are you folks the Straw Hat Pirates? You see, I have some friends here that would like to have a word with Monkey D. Luffy." Garp finished before seeing the sleeping Luffy. "Heh. The dumb kid never learns. Just as careless as ever."
He sped past everyone and hit Luffy on the head into the floor, breaking it. "Rise and shine!"
"Itai! (Ow!) That hurt!" Luffy yelled out surprising his friends that a simple hit would hurt him as he has a rubber body.
"That hurt? How? You're made of rubber!"
"Because there's no defense... Against an Ai aru Kobushi (Fist of Love.)" Garp replied taking his mask off. "You've been getting in a lot of trouble, haven't you Luffy?"
Naruto stumbled back in, brushing off the derbies. "Damn that hurt."
"O-O-Ojiisan?! (G-G-Grandpa?!)"
"NANI?! (WHAT!?)" The people yelled out at that.
"A Marine vice admiral is Luffy's ojiisan?! (G-G-Grandpa?!)" Chopper asked as Garp Smiled.
"That's Garp," Gina said getting Nami to glance at her.
"Garp? Isn't that the Marine that fought Gold Roger?"
"No matter what don't try to fight him. You won't win." Luffy said surprising his crew for a second time at him admitting that someone was too strong to fight against. "He'll kill you just like he tied with me over and over when I was little."
"Now now, you're going to give them the wrong idea." Garp aid, arms crossed over his chest. "Though, I'll admit I did throw you in that ravine that one time. And I left you in the jungle a few times too. And sure there were the times I sent you sailing along with those balloons. But I didn't do it to kill you. I did it to make you a man."
"So, this is where all of Luffy's endurance comes from. Why everything just rolls off of him." Sanji commented as he stared at the vice admiral.
"I wanted to make you a Marine. How the heck did you become a stinking criminal?!" Garp yelled at his grandson who jumped to his feet.
"I told you a million times I wanted to become a pirate! It's not my fault you wouldn't listen!"
"This is all that damn redhead's fault."
"I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for Shanks! Urasai! (Shut Up!)"
Garp then grabbed Luffy and pulled his fist back to hit him. Only for both to fall asleep. A moment later, Garp woke up.
"Oh no, did I fall asleep again?" He then looked to Luffy and hits him. "Wake up and take your lecture like a man!"
While he was berating Luffy on sleeping, no one noticed Usopp was outside the window looking in with Yokozuna.
Garp, after berating Luffy, asked if he'd seen or heard about the pirate that he was friends with 'Red Haired' Shanks before explaining that Shanks is a member of the Yonko. (Four Emperors.) Four powerful pirate captains who rule over a part of the Grand Line like emperors and who are the reason for the creation of the Marine Headquarters/Shichibukai. (Seven Warlords) alliance.
Before he could continue, Zoro ran up to warn everyone, only to start attacking Coby and Helmeppo who dashed to him. Luffy dashed over to stop only to get kicked in the jaw by Coby.
"Oi! (Hey!) What was that for you jerk!?" Luffy then threw a punch at Coby who quickly dodged.
"Soru! (Shave!)"
"That technique!"
Luffy then grabbed Coby as Zoro disarmed Helmeppo who was using kukri. Garp had them stop as Coby spoke that he knew Luffy from when Luffy started his adventures and Helmeppo was at once an enemy.
Luffy warmly greets his old friend, while snubbing the irate Helmeppo, much to his annoyance. Coby explains that both he and Helmeppo have been training under Garp to become Marine Officers.
Garp later orders his men to rebuild the wall he broke down, but at their insistence, he aids them in doing so.
"So Luffy, I heard you met your old man," Garp said looking over his shoulder as he and his men worked on the broken wall.
"Huh? My tousan? (Dad?) No, I don't think so." Luffy replied as Garp hammered wood on the wall.
Garp then picked his nose with his pinky finger before continuing. "That's a shame. I thought he'd introduce himself to ya. From what I hear you met in Lougetown."
As the Crew minus those that joined up in the Grand Line looked confused, Garp then reveals that Luffy's father is none other than the infamous revolutionary Monkey D. Dragon, who had been responsible for saving Luffy from Smoker from Loguetown.
This news shocks everyone minus Naruto and Luffy as no one knew Dragon had a son, his full name, or more shockingly that he was Garp's son.
"What's the big deal?" Luffy asked not knowing who Dragon is.
Robin explains to Luffy that Dragon is the leader of the Revolutionary Army, an infamous rebel force that is openly opposing the World Government. This force has already been responsible for the overthrow of several monarchies, threatening to destabilize the Government itself.
As a result, the World Government have labeled Dragon the most dangerous criminal in the world. Because of his reputation, showing Dragon's face or mentioning his name terrifies anyone familiar with him.
"Huh, I probably shouldn't have said anything," Garp said rubbing his head. "I take it all back. Forget it, OK?"
"NANI?! (WHAT?!)"
Later.
Later, Naruto was applying sunscreen to a topless Nami who was laying on her stomach on a folding lounge chair with a bikini bottom, and a clone doing the same to Gina.
Naruto noticed Nami was listening to a black den-den Mushi about how Marines coat their ships with Kairōseki (Sea Prism Stones) to safely navigate the calm belt and help hide their presence from Sea Kings and information on someone named Dr. Vegapunk.
She then got up and quickly flashed Naruto her bare breasts before just as quickly tying her top and got in the water, Gina soon following. They swam around as the others came out and started to barbecue.
A few minutes go by before Zambie and the Franky Family join them, encouraged by the news that Luffy was awake. Luffy invites them to the meal, starting off a cavalcade of other new arrivals: Oimo and Kashi, Sodom and Gomorrah, Iceberg and the Galley-La Company shipwrights, Franky, Mozu, and Kiwi.
Even Usopp manages to join in his Sogeking (Sniper King) disguise. What had started as a friendly little barbecue among the crew soon turns into a gigantic celebration.
Later, as the sun begins to set, Robin finds a little peace and quiet against a wall. Just then, a familiar voice addresses her from the other side of the wall.
"Stay where you are and listen, Nico Robin."
Her eyes widen at hearing Aokiji's voice. 'It can't be… Aokiji?'
"Why didn't you try to escape like you usually do? If you acted on your own you could have escaped from CP9."
"Even you should know this time was different," Robin replied looking at her wine glass. "I couldn't just abandon my crew. I couldn't leave them to die."
"You might not know this… But your friend, Jaguar D Saul, the one I was forced to kill in Ohara. He was my friend too." Aokiji said getting her eyes to widen again. "Even though I carried my duties as a Marine that day. I also honored his wishes by sparing you and helping you escape. After that, I still felt responsible for your life."
"But when 20 years have passed and you still haven't found a home. I began to fear Saul made a mistake. And in the end, even I had decided you were too dangerous to live. I was certain that Enies lobby would end the story of Ohara once and for all. Of course, I never anticipated that Straw Hat's little gang would defeat all of CP9." Aokiji continued.
"So, have you finally found the place where you belong?"
"Hai. (Yes.)" Robin replied looking at the party.
"In the end, I don't know if Saul was right. Or if what I've done was right or not either… I need you to show me the answer to that question."
"I intend too."
"Then live Nico Robin."

Aokiji looked up to see Naruto was crouched on the wall, his sniper rifle pointed at him, scope off and iron sights are attached instead. "I'm glad you made that choice Aokiji," Naruto said as two Chakura Tōs (Chakra Blades) appeared on his neck.
Two clones are sticking to the wall just high enough to point the blades at the admiral's neck. "Because I would have killed you if you chose wrong. You make sure to tell your boss I'll be sending his men and boats back in matchboxes every time he sends them after Robin."
"Not the whole crew."
"They're just doing their job then. But you all want Robin because she can read that dead language and can help to construct those weapons. So I will kill anyone trying to get Robin-chan."
Aokiji just crumbled into ice before Naruto sealed his rifle on his wrist and back-flipped to the ground by Robin. "Well, let's continue the party."
Morning.
Naruto groaned awake as the sun hit his eyes. He blinked the sleep out of them and noticed he wasn't in the room that was attached to Iceberg's HQ. He slowly got up and rubbed his head. "Where am I?" He asked before seeing something that made his eyes widen.
Nami, Gina, and Robin were knocked out in various places of the room nude.
Nami was laying on the bed, legs dangling off the foot and touching the floor. Gina was laying on her stomach on the floor and Robin was sitting on a couch on the end of the room, legs spread open and wearing his button shirt unbuttoned barely hiding her nipples.
He groaned as his head hurt, Kurama not doing anything to help with the pain or helped him on not getting drunk the night before.
'What the hell you mangy mutt?!'
'Son of a bitch! Don't talk so damn loud!'
'Why? You can't be drunk. Wait, are you? And if so, how?' Naruto asked before seeing he was nude himself.
'I was outside partying with you all and by the time I got back inside, there were ten feet of alcohol in here! Cut to this morning and Hai, (Yes,) I got drunk as well so uresai (Shut up) and let me sleep!'
"Oh… I can't feel my legs."
Looking to the bed, he saw Nami stirring away. "That was a night."
"Yeah," Naruto replied as the others woke up smiling, not hiding their bodies. "So… I guess this will make things awkward."
"Nope," Robin replied, standing up, flashing Naruto her breasts as the shirt opened slightly.
"Yeah, not if we're together," Gina spoke with a reply.
"Together?" Naruto asked as Nami crossed her legs.
"Yeah, that 5-hour marathon was enough to convince us all you'd need more than one woman to tame that beast. You were still ready for more."
"(Sigh) I think that was just Kurama's chakra coming back in me that…. Recharged me. So wait, you're actually suggesting that I share you?"
"At least. Maybe any women we meet that you'll give that kunai to." Nami replied before standing up and walked to him, breasts bouncing with each step. "Now… Who's up for continuing where we left off?"
A Few Hours Later, Galley-La's HQ.
A few hours later, Sanji was explaining to Luffy that Franky was building them a ship and Zoro read that the Government blamed them for the destruction of Enies Lobby instead of their Buster Call.
Naruto, shirtless, barefoot and wearing jeans saw that Robin was wearing his button shirt now button to expose her cleavage and her pants, Gina was wearing one of his black shirts and short shorts sat at a table.
He then saw Nami wearing one of his dark orange shirts and bikini bottoms, walked over to open the safe that held the 100 million, and saw only one stack of berries remained.
Blinking, she looked inside and reached around hoping to find a switch or fake backing only to find none. She leaned back up and held the wad of money before smiling eerily.
"What happened to our 100 million berries?"
"Oh, that? I already spent it all." Luffy smiled not noticing the trouble he was now in. "We needed it to buy the meat and booze for the party last night."
Naruto then took several steps away from the oblivious straw hat-wearing captain.
Nami just continued to smile and her face started to turn red. "Spent it? YOU SPENT ALL OF MY MONEY?!"
"We were really hungry."
"AH! How can you send all that on food? There's hardly any left!" Nami yelled holding the wad.
"We were partying until dawn," Luffy said digging his grave deeper before laughing.
And had Nami beat him into the floor.
"Your allowance is revoked!" Nami yelled before delivering the final punch.
BONK!
"Yes, ma'am!"
After Luffy gets beaten by Nami, the crew goes shopping for food, supplies, and furniture for their new ship. Although Zoro kept getting lost in alleyways as he went shopping for a new sword.
A Week Later.
A week goes by while the Crew wait on their ship and hiding from any of Garp's men that would turn them in. Nami explains the Log Pose is finally set. Kokoro, who was visiting then points out that the needle is pointing slightly downward. She explains this is because the next leg of their journey will be taking them to the halfway point of their journey along the Grand Line.
And their next stop will be Fishman Island… At the bottom of the ocean. The mention of "Fishman" brings up mixed feelings to all but Naruto, Robin, Gina, and Chopper.
Then Kokoro points out that getting there will be the hard part: not just because they need to find a way to the seafloor but because the route indicated by the Log Pose passes through some very dangerous waters: an infamous place that is known as the Florian Triangle where ships of all types have vanished without a trace or returned without their crews.
Nami is initially scared to go until Robin points out that ghost ships are often treasure ships, too. Luffy's already itching to go in hopes of encountering zombies and skeletons, and the talk of treasure ships makes Zoro wonder if he can find a new sword among such loot.
Just then, Chimney, Gonbei, and the Square sister barged in and explained the ship is finished having the crew cheer before hearing Zambie and the rest of the Franky Family shout for them to come out.
Going outside, they saw the Family panting with Zambie in front down on his knees.
"We just found out about this ourselves. Have you seen the wanted posters?!"
"Wanted posters?"
"You two got a huge bounty on your heads, you'll be hunted for sure Straw Hat, Sage. In fact, you all got one!?
"Even me?/Even me?" Nami and Gina asked fearfully.
"How much?!" Sanji asked gladly at finally getting a bounty.
"I'm wanted?!" Chopper asked with steam coming out of his nose.
"No time to talk, just look!" Zambie said throwing down wanted posters.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: Monkey D. Luffy: 300,000,000.'
"Alright! It went up!" Luffy cheered at his bounty increase.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: Uzumaki Naruto: 378,000,000.'
"OK then," Naruto said looking at his new bounty.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: Roronoa Zoro: 120,000,000.'
Zoro just grinned at his bounty raise.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: "Cat Burglar" Nami: 16,000,000.' Nami's poster was a shot of her in her bikini, sitting in a lawn chair looking over her shoulder, hands going through her hair.
"No!" Nami screamed in terror.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: "Sawdust" Gina: 18,000,000' Gina's poster was her holding a small sledgehammer yelling out an attack.
"Oh hell no, I don't want to be wanted!" Gina whined at her bounty poster.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: "Candy Lover" Chopper. "Pet" 50-.' Chopper's poster was him eating cotton candy.
Chopper gained a depressed aura at his low bounty and being confused for a pet. "Fifty?"
'Wanted Dead or Alive: "Demon Child" Nico Robin: 80,000,000." Robin has a newly updated poster with a close up of her fighting at Enies Lobby, arms crossed with flower petals and her arms attacking Marines in the background.
"That's bull! You deserve more than a 1 million raise." Naruto said before looking at Sanji's poster as Robin just smiled before Naruto bursts out laughing. "HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!"
The reason for him laughing was Sanji had a very badly drawn picture instead of an actual photo.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: "Black Leg" Sanji. Attempt To Take A Photo Failed: 77,000,000.'
"HA-HA-HA! I can't stop laughing!" Naruto yelled after falling on the ground.
"Oh hey look, Sogeking (Sniper King) got one as well," Luffy said pointing to Usopp's poster.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: "Sniper King" Sogeking: 30,000,000.' Usopp's poster was a close-up shot of him in his mask.
"Now hold on! I'm sure there's a lot you need to talk about but look at this!" Zambie then threw down another poster.
'Wanted Dead or Alive: "Cyborg" Franky: 44,000,000.' Franky's picture was him yelling with his left arm smoking from an attack.
The Family then begged Luffy to take Franky with him to protect him from bounty hunters.
"I was already going to, I already decided he's my Shipwright," Luffy exclaimed having the Family cheer and then left somber at having to get Franky to leave knowing that even if he wanted to, he would stay because of them.
Nodding they all started to leave having the S.H.C. to go back, and pack.
"Don't worry Nami, I'll protect you," Naruto said to Nami as he wrapped his arm around her waist. She smiled at him feeling better.
"Thank you Naruto-Kun." After packing Zoro looked back.
"Are we all clear on Usopp?" He asked as Luffy looked to him.
"Hai. (Yeah.)" Luffy turned back to the group. "Let's go we've been depressed long enough."
Sanji ran up to him holding his poster.
"SHUT UP! Why am I the only one without a picture?" He asked pointing to his drawing. "Who the hell is this? it isn't me!"
Zoro looked to Naruto and whispered. "I thought it was a picture until he said something." Naruto smirking whispered back.
"Maybe his face broke the camera." Hearing them Sanji ran up to them and moved his mouth but nothing came out.
Zoro and Naruto raised an eyebrow at him. "What the hell are you saying?" They asked only for Sanji to fall down with a depressing aura surrounding him.
"That guy said he was a reporter for the paper," Nami said as she, and Gina looked at their posters.
"Having a bounty sucks, and all but the picture is sexy." Nami finished as Chopper complained to Luffy about his bounty and 'Pet' status.
"Just try harder next time," Luffy said before they walked out following Mozu, and Kiwi to their new ship.
A while later, they saw Iceberg standing on the coat, wood around him with a ship covered in a tarp.
"Oh, hey Ice-pops what are you doing here?" Luffy asked Iceberg who smiled and pulled the tarp revealing their new ship.
"Franky wanted to give this message: If you're going to be the King of the Pirates, then your ship should be the king of the beasts!"
The ship is a brig sloop, a type of ship that relies on the skills of its navigator. The ship has a lawn on her deck, complete with a swing and a slide, as well as an observation tower for a crow's nest. It also has two huge masts. The figurehead is a lion with a stylized mane and two crossbones behind it in the manner of a Jolly Roger. The ship also has seven cannons on each side of it.
The helm is located at the front of the ship. Unlike the conventional steering wheels found on traditional sailing ships, the position of the steering wheel resembles those found on modern ships. A bench is conveniently located near the steering wheel. The ship also has a built-in Log Pose, located on a metal pillar of medium height which stands directly behind the ship's helm.
The anchors are positioned at each side of the front of the ship and resemble large lion paws, each with three toes. The ropes used to raise and lower them are stored inside the metal ring positioned behind the figurehead.
"It's Amazing"
"You can say that again!"
"How lovely."
"Oh yeah!"
The crew all exclaimed looking at the new ship before running on the deck. Naruto then created clones to check out their new ship. He went to see that the men's quarters are located on the first floor of the fore of the ship, while the women's quarters are located above them on the second floor.
He saw that the men's quarters can be entered from either door on the first floor. In the middle of the room is a horigotatsu type kotatsu, a traditional Japanese fireplace setting, complete with a sunken table and low sofas. Suspended from the ceiling like wooden hammocks are three double-decker bunks, which the men sleep in.
Behind these bunks, at the back of the room, are six lockers where the men can store their clothes. Posted on the wall of the room is a collection of their new wanted posters minus Sanji's as he doesn't want it. A hatch in the men's quarters leads down into a storage room below deck.
One clone went to the women's quarters and saw it can be entered through the door on the second floor. Unlike the men's quarters, which looks more typical for a ship, the women's quarters resembles more like a bedroom that one would normally see on land. It contains three beds, a bookshelf, a four-door closet, a vanity with a mirror, and some comfy sofas, among other things.
A treasure chest is behind the beds. He then saw that at the entrance to each room is a washroom. The room by the men's quarters' entrance is a typical household washroom setup. It contains a regular sink and some toothbrushes. The only other unique feature in this room is a bell to wake everyone up in case of emergencies or other important situations.
The washroom by the women's quarters entrance is somewhat more elaborate. It contains a closet where wine and a tea set can be stored. There is also a door to the right in each bedroom which leads to a narrow space containing a cannon.
In front of these rooms, on the lawn deck, is a hatch leading to the room where a Dock System is stored. He then saw that their bathroom is located outside, under the stairwells that circle the foremast.
He then went to the second floor near the stern of the ship that has the kitchen, dining room, and sickbay.
The combined kitchen and dining room of the ship resembles a restaurant, with the two areas separated by a bar. The kitchen has a professional setup and cooking equipment, including a giant oven that can bake anything and a giant fridge with a lock, something Sanji has requested to stop people, mainly Luffy from stealing food.
Next to the kitchen is the main mast of the ship; built within it is a dumbwaiter that can be used to deliver food a the aquarium bar below. The area also contains a ladder that leads to a hatch giving access to the observation deck above. A Den Den Mushi can also be found near the couch in the dining room.
He then saw a sickbay across from the kitchen. It can be accessed from both the dining room and the outside of the ship. The room contains various medical supplies and furniture, including a desk, a bed, and a swivel chair.
Naruto then walked into a bar with an aquarium around it. The aquarium surrounds the whole room and functions as a ceiling for a passageway behind it.
In the middle of the room is the main mast of the ship, which contains a small cupboard for storing alcohol and the dumbwaiter connecting it to the kitchen above.
Naruto then saw a large hut-like structure at the stern of the ship that contains the bath and library. On each side of this building is a large lamp. The library, comprising the lower level of the structure, is a large circular room with numerous bookshelves and windows and a bench encircling the whole room. In the middle of the room is Nami's mapping desk, which contains the Ship's Log, among other things.
Toward the port side is a ladder leading up to the bath. Above the library, located in the attic-like section of the building, is the bath. From the ladder in the library, one enters a front washroom with an accessible toilet before passing through a door into the actual bath. It contains a much larger bathtub than there was on the Merry.
A clone then went up to the foremast and into the crow's nest. It is a dome-shaped hut with several windows on its perimeter. It can be entered by climbing up the ropes surrounding the mast and then climbing a ladder up through a hole in the nest's metal floor. It contains some advanced telescopic equipment and a microphone.
The microphone is connected to a loudspeaker located below the crow's nest to the rear, enabling anyone inside to quickly relay the news to the crew below.
He then saw that on top of the kitchen and dining hall of the Thousand Sunny is the observation deck. Much like the top deck of the Going Merry, it contains a garden for Nami's mikan trees and a flower garden beside that. It also has the chimney for the kitchen below.
Below the deck, and to the aft of the Soldier Dock System, are the two rooms devoted to research and development. Both are complete with drawing boards and tools for the creation of blueprints and contraptions.
An hour later, Naruto looked out to see that the others lured Franky to come to the coast by stealing his speedo's and Robin was using her powers to squeeze his… Family jewels.
"Remind me not to get on your bad side there, Robin-Chan," Naruto said as Luffy convinced the cyborg to join, getting him to jump in the air doing his signature pose pant-less.
"PUT SOME DAMN PANTS ON!" Naruto yelled out before walking inside the ship.
A few minutes later, after unpacking, Naruto saw that they were moving before remembering last night's conversation.
(Flashback.)
"Really Usopp want's to come back?"
Luffy asked Sanji who told them about seeing Usopp.
"Yeah, he was practicing his acceptance speech." He replied as Luffy, Nami, and Chopper walked to the door.
"Wait," Zoro said catching their attention. "I understand that you want to see him, but I won't allow you to bring him back." He continued as Luffy stared at him.
"Why not?" Luffy asked as Zoro crossed his arms.
"You can't kiss his ass, and welcome him back."
Chopper started yelling at him as Nami walked over.
"Now listen here Zoro-!" Zoro interrupted her.
"URESAI! (SHUT UP!)"
Taken aback, Nami turned to Naruto who was sitting at the table with the other's."Are you going to sit there..." Naruto raised his hand to stop her.
"He's right... Usopp left our crew, and disobeyed our CAPTAIN'S orders."
Zoro pulled Wado out and walked towards Luffy. "It doesn't matter what you two thought, or who was right, and who was wrong." He stopped in front of Luffy. "What matters is that two men had a duel. And you need to accept what happens after it." He turned around to address the others. "You understand right? He may be an idiot but he's our Captain."
Zoro tapped Luffy on the head with Wado before pulling his cheek. "We're better off without a member that doesn't respect the Captain when thing's starts to go downhill. A crew that doesn't respect the Captain, and one that doesn't demand it... Are destined to fail." Zoro continued before turning back to Luffy.
"I don't care if you're easy-going most of the time, but now you have to man up, and quit letting people walk over you." He let's go of his cheek. "Because if not... I'll be the next one to leave." Everyone but Naruto looked wide-eyed. "Don't get me wrong... It's fine if he comes back, and if you want him back." Zoro looked at everyone.
"But unless he apologizes, or pretends as if nothing happened between you two.. Then I won't forgive you, and I won't stand for it. We'll leave without him."
Nami started waving her hands."Matte, (Wait,) I understand that Usopp's at fault, but we'll settle it after he joins-!" Naruto interrupted her by slamming his hands on the table.
"Then it's OK that he can leave the crew when he wants too? To choose when, and when not to follow Luffy's order's?" Nami looked to him surprised.
"Well, no but," Sanji spoke up as she trailed off.
"Nami-chan... For once I'm agreeing with what they're saying."
Zoro looked up to her as he puts Wado back. "If he does this on a whim... Then how are we supposed to trust him to move forward?" Zoro sighed and closed his eyes. "Look... If the first thing out of his mouth is an apology then we're good. But... If he makes some excuse, then he's not welcomed back."
Everyone looked down before he continued. "We're not pretending to be pirates. This isn't a game."
Luffy stayed silent before replying as he sat down."You're right. There's still a few days before the ship's finished. We'll wait for him until then."
(Flashback End.)
"I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I SAID!"
Naruto heard Usopp analogize before walking out to see the crew defending their new ship from Garp's who was firing at them due to orders from HQ. Naruto dodged several cannonballs as the Crew settled on calling their ship the Thousand Sunny due to them thinking the lion was actually the sun.
"Unfurl the sails!"
"You sure about this?!" Zoro asked Franky who nodded.
Franky goes below deck to power up his escape device, remarking that Water 7 will disappear from view momentarily. Luffy whacks away one last cannonball from Garp. Garp then gets out a comically-enormous cannonball and swings it at the Thousand Sunny. Just as the crew thinks they're all going to die, The Sunny shot into the air from their back cannon.
"Ku do Bāsuto! (Coup de Burst!)"
