"Well, then, farewell you too!" Tulip waved goodbye. "I'll be looking forward to see you two again someday." She said as she leave the Gym Lobby.
"All right! We got our six Gym badges!" Florian cheered. "I certainly wasn't expecting I would also get the same offer you got, Renne."
"Well, you are quite the cutie yourself you know. You got it from your mom." Renne replied
"You think so. You got yours from your Mom, too?"
"No. I got mine from my father."
"Huh. I thought it was from your mother. But guess you're right about every child have some resembles from their parents."
"Yep. Come to think of it. Don't you have a father, Florian? Where is he?" Renne asked
"Oh, he's—"
"Greetings once more, Florian and Renne." Hassel enter the Gym Lobby and approached.
"Oh hey Mr. Hassel!" Florian greeted
"Well, well. What brings our Art teacher and our Elite Four member to visit us? Let me guess, you witness our battle against Tulip?"
"Indeed I was. And I must say..." Then Hassel gave an excited look. "I thought it was simply excellent! Full marks! Gold Star! Extra credit, even! Gothitelle, Armarogue, Floatzel, Meowscarada, Ceruledge and Gallade before you launched into your strategy! That unrelenting offensive! That flurry of attacks! The clever strategy of Future Sight, the defensive formation of Reflect and Light Screen! And the willpower of your Pokemon to continue fighting to the very end! What an efficient way to corner the opponent! And what artfully trained Pokemon! Such a vibrant palette of moves!" He yelled in excitement, then blinked as everyone in the Gym Lobby, Florian and Renne blinked at him. "Ah!" He clears his throat. "I do beg your pardon. I didn't mean to let my emotions run amok like that. In summary, I simply wanted to say that you two seem to have gotten even stronger. I must admit I'm eager for you two to gather all the Gym Bages. As a member of the Elite Four, I await the day you two come to face me with great anticipation! Oh and one moe thing—don't let your studies fall by the wayside. Be sure to come to the academy now and then!" Then he took off.
"He certainly a lively one isn't he?" Renne asked.
"Yep." Florian nodded and look at the time. "It's 6:21. Wow. My battle took awhile. And if we follow the route to the next Gym... We will arrive like an hours and twenty minutes. Though I might make it longer with the Ice Pokemon that might be within the area."
"True. But all the more reason why we should head over there. Lucky for us, we can climb the mountain since Miraidon and Koraidon can now climb. So it will be easy." Renne said.
"True. Oh that reminds me. I need to change clothes for the cold. You already got yours it seems. I better go get mine. Mind waiting for me a bit?"
"Of course. Don't keep me waiting." Renne ndoded as Florian took off.
One clothes changing later...
"All right, I'm back!" Florian came back, wearing a Gatsby Cap, Leather Blue Backpack, Gray/Black Lether Gloves, brown Engineer Boots, and Winter Uniform. "How do I look."
"Well look at you, Mr. Stylist." Renne teased. "You look good."
"Thanks. So how do we get to the Next Gym?" Florian asked
"I already map it out. We have to take the flying Taxi back to Medali. Then we can make our way to the mountain path."
"All right, then let's go." Florian nodded

One Traveling toward Medali later...
(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - West Province)
"Okay if we follow this path, it will lead us to the mountain. Then we can climb toward the snow part. If we can climb higher, we can glide our way." Renne said as they go in Dash mode.
"I can't wait to get myself some Ice Pokemon." Florian chuckled as they soon reach part of the mountain. Miraidon and Koraidon then begin to climb up the mountain until reach the snow area where Snowruts are gathered. "Time for me to catch them!' Then he throw a Pokeball to a Snowrunt who was minding her business until one of the Snowrunts kick the Pokeball. "Hey! No one kicks my Pokeball and get away with it."
Florian then called out Ceruledge and then have it battle against the Snowunts until Florian throw a Pokeball at one of them and then capture one and then throw another one. After capturing them, Florian recalled Cerculedge and resume climbing up the mountain.

"Okay, we're almost there." Renne said as they arrive at the snow area.
"Whoooa. Look at this place. It's so beautiful." Florian look around. "I heard that there's supposed to be an arroura during the night sky."
"Well, it's not yet night time but we're getting there. I see some wild Pokemon around here." Renne said, seeing Glalie, Bronzong, Sawsbucks in winter form with Deerlings, Delibird flying around, Sneasels, Cubchoos, Beatric, Bergmite, Avaluggs, Snoms, Frosmoths, Greavards coming out of the ground, Cetoodles, and Frigibaxs
"Jackpot!" Florian readied his Pokeballs.
Floiran then called out Cerculudge and ready to battle and catch some wild Pokemon. After catching a lot of them, Florian and Renne continue going up the mountain. They soon reach more snowfields and they continue to wonder around. Snowstorm begin to kick in.
"A snowstorm. It's going to be difficult if this snowstorm become a blizzard." Florian said, shielding his eyes.
"Yeah. We better be careful. If we wonder around, we'll get lost."
"Speaking of getting lost! My signal just gone out!" Rotom exclaimed
"Aww man, this isn't good. Without a signal we'll be sure to get lost!" Florian groaned
"Calm down. Panicking won't help. We'll just have to navigate through the snow."Renne told him.
"You been into this situation before?"
"No. This is my first time actually. All we have to do is be careful. Come one." Renne said as they continue going through the snowstorm.
"I sure hope you know what you're doing Renne." Florian sighed. "Not that I don't have any faith."
"Who said I was going to do something about this? Renne asked. "Just stay clear. The snowstorm isn't heavy. But if it gets too heavy, we need to take shelter."
"Guess so." Florian said as they travel around the snowfield for a few minutes until the snowstorm died town. "Oh look! the snowstorm is going down!"
"And it's getting colder too..." Renne said as the cold breath is visible.
"Hey I got the signal around here! Bzzt!" Rotom said. "Okay, if we can keep going north up the mountain on this path, We can reach Montenevera!"
They continue to follow the path ahead of them. As they go on dash mdode a few minutes, they begin to see lights within the distance.
"I see lights! We must be close!" Florian said.
"Then let's make our way." Renne said as they go up the mountain path and then eventually, they arrived at Montenevera.

"Woohoo! We made it!" Florian cheered until snow blow on his face. "Brrr!"
"Brr indeed. But this is a good place for us to day stay for the night." Renne said as they hop of Miraidon and Koraidon and petting their foreheads. "I need to use the ladies room. And we could also get something to eat for our Pokemon as well."
"Well there's a restaurant called Sushi High Rooler." Florian pointed
"Sounds good to me." Renne said as they go into Sushi High Roller.
"Welcome!" A waitress's bow in eastern style. "Table to two? Or is this a date?"
"For two please. Oh and if it possible for our Pokemon to be feed as well?"
"Well as long they're not this fall and take up much space, they're are free to eat here."
"Hmm. The Only Pokemon who can fit in here is Gothitelle, Maushold, Armarogue, Lucario, and Floatzel. Venusaur might be too big."
"In that case, if Venusaur about this big." The waitress show the chat of how big, then he should be big enough to fit into our larger area."
"Hmm. I believe he's big enough to fit in here."
"In that case, allow me to show you to your tables while also bringing out the Pokemon menu." The Waitress grabbed the menus and then take them to the large area where they can sit as Florian and Renne got out their Pokemon and handed them out them the menu to look at.. "Please take your time." Then she takes off.
"Hmm. What to eat..." Florian wondered as he divided the Exclusive Four-Piece Sushi while Renne go for the Sleet Set.
One Eating and Restroom later...
"Please come again!" The Waitress wave goodbye as they take off.
"Man that was delicious!" Florian stretch out his arms and rubbing his stomach as he and Renne recalled their Pokemon to their Pokeballs.
"Indeed. Let's go wonder around a bit." Renne said as they begin to wonder around the city for a bit until they spotted a Extra Training Guy. "Oh? Extra Training?"
"That's right! Here I help your Pokemon get stronger through Hyper Training! All it takes is bottle caps!"
"Bottle caps?"
"Yep! Of course, I also can take cash or LP points, but depends on you."
Florian and Renne look at each other and nodded. "All right, but let's wait for a bit. Our Pokemon ate and we don't want them throwing up."
"That's perfectly reasonable. Please check back after they're ready to go."
An hour and thirty minutes later...
"All right, they're all Hyper Train!" The Guy said as Gothitelle, Venusaur, Armarogue, Lucario, Floatzel, Mausholds, Glaceon, Luxray, Meowscarada, Cerculedge, Dragapult, Gallade, Dugtrio, Revaroom, Tinkaton are all tired.
"Thanks! Here are your Bottle Caps and Money!" Florian said as he and Renne handed him the money.
"If you have any other Pokemon who need Hyper Train, please come to me!" The man take the money and waved goodbye.
"Oh we will. Until then." Florian said as they recalled their Pokemon and then place Luxray, Glaceon, and Tinkaton to the Boxs. "Hmm... You know. I need to train my Dratini and Frigibax."
"Well good luck to you on that." Renne said as they go to the Pokemon Center. "Nurse Joy, can you heal our Pokemon to good health?"
"Of course! Give them here." Nurse Joy nodded as Florian and Renne give their Pokeballs to her, place them in the healing machine and then heal them in good health. "Okay, you're all set!"
"Thanks Nurse Joy! Cya soon!" Florian said as they take their Pokeballs and make their way to the Gym and enter the Gym Lobby, and inside was Nemona.

"Hey, guys!" Nemona greeted.
'Nemona? Have you been waiting for us?" Renne asked
"Haha! Sure have! Congrats on your six Gym Badge you guys! Not even a tenth of the Trainers who take on the Gyms get this far, y'know! But I'm not surprised that you two made it. I just KNEW there was a reason why the two of you caught my eye!"
"Haha! That's quite the compliment, so thanks." Florian scratch his forehead. "But let me guess. You want me and Renne to do a "warm-up" with you before the Gym?"
"How did you know? Was it that obvious?" Nemona asked
"You're very predictable at this point." Florian and Renne said unity.
"Haha... Anyway, since I already battle Florian, how 'bout you, Renne?"
"Why not? I should warn you. They became stronger then they were before." Renne said with a wink
"Ooh that makes me even more excited! Come on! I'll take you to the battle court!" She said and she ran out of the Gym as Renne and Florian follow her but Renne was just walking and arrived at the battle court.

"Ta-Ta-Tachan! Here's our battle court for today!" Nemona cheered and then look around and notice the man. "Oh, excuse me!" She waved at him.
"Hm? Oh hey! Are you challengers for the Gym Test?"
"No, not yet. But we will be after I have my sparing match with Nemona, here." Renne answered
"Really? Oh then I would probably say you should talk to the Gym Staff first. Otherwise, you won't take credit."
"Huh?"
Nemona sweatdrop. "Ooh... that's right. The Montenevera Gym Test evolves a double battle!"
"So in order words, my battle wouldn't taken credit for the Gym Test." Renne then turn to Nemona, giving her a deadpan look. "Nemonaaa."
"Ahaha... Whoops!" Nemona scratching her hair.
"Well it's a good thing this guy is here to explain to us." Florian sweatdrop. "We have to reschedule our fight, Nemona."
"That might be for the best... so much for the Warm up." Nemona sighed. "In that case, good luck you guys!" Then she takes off.
"Okay, let's head back to the Gym and talk to the staff. We really need to restain Nemona's Pokemon battle enthusiasm on bad timing."
"Ooh yeah." Florian and they headed back to the Gym.
(Resuming Gym Lobby)
"Excuse us." Florian called out. "We're challengers who are looking to take the Gym Test."
"Welcome to the Gym then. May I have your name so I can register it?" The Gym Staff asked
"My name is Florian. And this is Renne."
"Florian and Renne. All right. Here at the Montenevera Gym, the Gym Test is to warm up the audience for the main event. And you two are the opening act!"
"An opening act?" Florian asked.
"That's right. In order to face Gym Leader Ryme, you must be the opening act for her Pokemon concert. So you two need to warm up the audience in a dead fierce Pokemon battle. Once you got the crowd all excited, then you'll pass the test! To begin the test, start by talking to the MC Sledge in front of the stage outside."
"Got it. Let's go Florian." Renne said as they leave the Gym Lobby and then head to the Battle Court.

"Hii we're back!" Florians aid to the MC Sledge.
"All right! Okay so here's the thing. You must have heard it from your friend, but you two gonna do some Double Battle! Sicne the two of you are taking this test together, that means you'll be our duets. If you were alone, it's gonna be two Pokemon fight side by side. Hench the name Double Battle. Which also means double the opponents and get the audience twice as excited!"
"The more we put on the show. The more we will pass the test." Renne said.
"Exactly my lady friend! The venue will be so hot, it'll melt the Mentenevera snow! Your opening act begins as soon as you get up on stage! There'll be no backing down until you win three times in a row, so you two ready?"
"Yep/we are." Florian and Renne nodded
(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Montenevera Gym Battle Theme Ver. 1)
"Sweet! Just play it by ear—you'll do great! Head on up to the stage!" The MC Sledge said as Renne and Florian go on Stage and then they begin to take positon as the MC Sledge begin to take the stage and then got his Mic. "What's up, Monteneveraaaa! Today's opening act will be three back-to-back Double Battles by our challengers here! Florian and Renne! And the first of their six opponents will be two young performers who makes it look like a breeze!" He said as two kids approached the stage. "The one, the only... Tas and Vivi!"
"Double Battles— that means one plus one, right?" The boy asked
"I think so. So let's see if you two can do the math." The girl replied as she and the boy got out their Pokeball. "Go Shuppet!" She throw her Pokeball.
"Go Greavard!" The boy throw his Pokeball and both Pokemon came out
Florian and Renne look at each other and nodded. "Go, Ceruledge/Armarogue!" Both of them throw their Pokemon and came out Ceruledge and Armarogue.
"Oooh! look at Florian and Renne's Pokemon! Both Pokemon look identical yet both are so different! One who gives a frightening look while the other looks fierce! Both Pokemon will give a frightful howl to wake the dead! Now let's battle while the night is still young!" The MC Sledge announced.
"Ceruledge, let's scare Gravard with Phantom Force!" Florian command
"Armarogue, let's bring Halloween with Mystical Fire on Shuppet!" Renne command.
"Arm!" Armarogue summon fire that circle into a red-orange ring and them fired stream of fire toward Shuppet while Armarogue disappeared into a portal from behind.
"Shuppet, dodge and use Shadow Ball!" The girl yelled
"Greavard, use for a Crunch Attack on that Armarogue!" The boy command
"Shup!" Shuppet dodge the Mystical fired while Greavard ran toward Armarogue. "Shuuupet!" Shuupet then throw Shadow Ball at Armarogue.
"Dodge it!" Renne command as Armarogue dodge the Shadow Ball and then Greavard jump for the Crunch. Only for Ceruledge to appeared so suddenly in front and tackle it
"Ark!" Greavard winched.
"Ah! Greavard!" The Boy exclaimed.
"Psyshock Shuppet!" Renne command
"Arm!" Armarogue's aim his hand and then fired beam of energy toward Shuppet and struck him
"Shuuuup!" Shuppet winched, spinning before regaining his stance.
"Shuppet, Shadow Sneak on Ceruledge!" The Little girl command.
"Greavard, give Shuppet a Helping Hand!" The little boy command
"Ruuuff!" Greavard let out a howl as his body glowing with multiple colors and then Shuppet is glowing with the same color
"Shup!' Shuppet created a shadow of itself on the state which slithered toward Cerledge.
"Armarogue, Allied Switch!" Renne command as Armarogue's body outline with purple energy, then Armarogue and Cerledge vanished and then reappeared but in different places. Armarogue then took the attack for himself.
"Huh?!" The little girl look surprised.
"Cerledge, Bitter Blade to get revenge for Armarogue!" Florian command
"Cer!" Ceruledge's arm blades became covered in purple fire and then slash Greavard, leaving behind a purple trail of energy as it slash.
"Raaugh!" Greavard winched and knock toward Shuppet.
"Shur!" Shurpet winched and fell on the floor with Greavard.
"Armor Cannon them Armarogue!" Renne command
"Arm!" Armarogue's Pauldren form into a cannon and then fired projections attacks which both Greavard and Shuppet look up and then got blasted.
Shuppet eyes were swirling while Geavard's head was circling with stars.
"Wooohooo!
"Awesome Team work!"
"Oh I love a good care for your teammate movement!"
"Montenevera stage has all the latest tech! The more excited the audience gets, the more the stage will light up!" MC Sledge told to Florian and Renne. "Keep on sludgin'! You two got this!"
"Got it. Armarogue, Celuledge, let's do this!" Florian fist pump.
"Arm!" Armarogue did his fist pump to Ceruledge who rolled his eyes and jump tap with his blade arm while the little boy and girl recalled their Pokemon to their Pokeball and hop off the stage.
"Aaaand our challenger's next opponent will be a musical dup with a bit of a unique style Liit's Lani and Roook!" The MC Sludge announced as two people came up. A Cowgirl and a Cowboy.
"Strong complement weak! The harmony of two Pokemon battling in unsion!" The woman cheered.
"Let's show 'em that two are much better pair than one!" The man declared

"Let's go, Misdreavus!" The woman throw her Pokeball.
"You two, Haunter!" The man throw his Pokeball and came out both Pokemon
"Misreavus~" Mistreavus let out a smirked
"Haunter!" Haunter let out a sinister grinned.
"Ready you guys?" Florian asked as Ceruledge and Armarogue nodded.
"Then let's have some fun." Renne smirked.
"Ceruledge, Shadow Claw on Mistreavus!"
"Psyshock on Haunter!" Renne command.
"Arm/Cel!" Armarogue begin firing Psyshock while Ceruledge then ran toward Mistreavus.
"Haunter, Sucker Punch Ceruledge!" The Cowboy command
"Mistreavus, Shadow Ball that Psyshock!" The Cowgirl command
Mistreavus conjured the Shadow Ball and throw at at Psyshock and exploded. Then once Ceruledge launch a Shadow Claw Attack on Mistreavus, Haunter got in front and attack him first, knocking Ceruledge back. Celuledge use Phantom Force to disappeared as Armarogue rush in and then throw Flamethower toward Mistreavous. Mistreavus took the hit and then Haunter got attack by Ceruledge from behind, knocking him into the air. Haunter recovered and then throw Dark Pulse toward the two. Armarogue and Celuledge jump back and avoided the attacks as Mistreavous used Confused Ray on Ceruledge.
"Nngh! Ceruledge, Bitter Blade on Mistreavus!" Florian command but Ceruledge hit himself."Ceruledge!"
"Now use Hex!" The Cowgirl command
"Mistrea~" Mistreavus's eyes glow.
"Armarogue, Expanding Force on Mistreavus, quick!" Renne yelled as Armarogue form a purple energy that expended and a column of purple energy with yellow and blue spark strikes on Mistreavus.
"Mis!" Mistreavus winched.
"Haunter, Shadow Ball Armarogue!" The Cowboy command
"Haaunter!" Haunter channel and throw Shadow Ball on Armarogue.
"Arm!"
"Ceruledge, Shadow Claw on Haunter!" Florian command as Ceruledge's Blades surrounded by a black aura with a purple outline and then slash Haunter in Confusion.
"Haaunt!" Haunter winched
Then Ceruledge snapped out of Confusion.
"Armarogue, Armor Cannon Mistreavus!" Renne command
"Aaaarmarogue!" Armarogue aim his hands and fired Flamethrower at Mistreavus.
"Mistreaaaa!" Mistreavus winched as she and Haunter fell on the floor in defeat.
The Stage suddenly lit up along with the spotlights as the audience cheered more excitedly.
"Your opening act's turned the cheering AND the stage lighting up to 11!" The MC Sledge clapping for Florian and Renne as the Cow pair recalled their Pokemon and then take off.
"So it seems. Is it all right if we recover our Pokemon?" Renne asked.
"Of course!" MC Sledge pull out meditical hits with Full Heals and Max PP. "Here, I'll help match up." Then he approached and begin to heal both Pokemons and return back to the mike. "What a surprise from our new challengers! Who'd have through they'd sledge it up this much?! Next is your last opponents. And it's nothing other than..." Then he pointed at himself. ME! MC Sledge! And my best buddy, Ricky!"
"Wooooo!" A man jump onto the stage and MC Sledge stand on the opposite end of the stage with his friend. "Let's go this my friend!"
"Aww yeah!" Bein' a MC isn't my only forte—I can battle too! I'll sledge ya up real good in a Double Battle!"

(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Montenevera Gym Battle Ver. 3)
"Let's go Drifblim!" MC Sledge throw his Pokeball.
"You too Sableye!" The Trainer throw his Pokeball and both Pokemon came out.
"Drif."
"Sableye!"
"Ready, Renne?" Florian asked
"But of course. You two, ready?" Renne asked Armarogue and Ceruledge who respond with a nod.
"All right, then let's begin the battle!"
"You heard the challenger!" MC Sledge laughed.
"Ceruledge, Shadow Claw Drifblim!"
"Armarogue, Flamethrower on Sableye!"
"Phantom Force Armarogue!" MC Sludge yelled
"Shadow Claw Cerluedge!" MC Sledge friend command.
Ceruledge used Shadow Claw but Drifblim vanished into the portal as Armarogue fired Flamethrower at Sableye but he dodge and then jump toward Ceruledge and Shadow Claw him. Drifblim reappeared an tackle Ceruledge. Ceruledge used Bitter Blade on Sableye, striking and recover its HP while Armarogue used Psyshock on Drifblim. Drifblim and Sableye grunted. Both of them recovered as Drifblim used Shadow Ball while Saberye used Power Gem toward Armarouge.
"Celuledge, Quick Guard!" Florian yelled as Ceruledge put his arm blades together and became outlight in a bright red aura, forming a red barrier of energy on Armarogue and itself. Shadow Ball and Power Gem were repel.
"Oh snap!" MC Sledge exclaimed.
"Nice one, Florian! You too, Ceruledge! Now, Armarogue, Armor Cannon Sableeye!" Renne swing her arm and command
"Help Armarugue with Phantom Force!" Florian command as Celuledge disappeared into the portal.
Armarogue's pauldren form into a Cannon and fired multiple projections attack and then Ceruledge reappeared and tackle Sableye to knock toward Drifblim. Ceruledge jump out of the way and then both Pokemonw ere blasted by Armor Cannon.
"Saaaableye/Drifbliiiim!" They winched as they were knock away off stage and then landed don the snow with swirling eyes.
The Pokeball in the center begin to light up as the audience cheered loudly as Greavard emerged from the ground
"Whoa! Awesome! That was a great battle!"
"Awesome Teamwork!"
"This is so cool!"
"Double Battle Rocks!"
MC Sledge laughed and recalled his Pokemon as his friend did the same. "Thank yooou, Florian and Renne! You two passed the Gym Test! Give 'em a round of applause, everybody!" he yelled as the audience clapping and cheering. "I feel a scary-good sense of unity in the crowd! Perfecto! We're ready to go for the main event! C'mon, everybody—say it with me! This is what you've all been waitin' for... Give it up for the MC of RIP!" Ryyyyyyyyyyyme!"
"RYME! RYME! RYME! RYME! RYME! RYME! RYME! RYME!"
A dark-skinned middle-aged woman with white hair with braids; the front is braided into a skeletal hand, while the back is braided into a ribbon. She has wrinkles, green eyes; her eyelids and the bottom part of her lips are painted gold. She wears a black jacket with gold trim on the outside and completely gold on the inside. She wears a golden necklace, golden Pokéball-themed earrings and a black baseball cap worn the opposite way with a gold closure on it. She also carries a microphone that has gold trim on it.
She approached the center stage as the audience cheering.

"What's all this noise I'm hearin'?!" Ryme yelled, causing the audience to stop cheering and clapping. "This crowd's so loud, it could wake the dead..." Then she begin her pose.
(Resuming Montenevera Gym Battle 3)
"Lemme tell ya what I wanna hear—y'all feelin' good!?" Ryme yelled.
"Yeah! We're feelin' good! Ryme! Ryme! Ryme! Ryme! WOOOOOOO!" The audience cheered
Ryme smirked and then look at Florian and Renne. "Thanks for the killer opener, baby! Now I'll get this started for real."
"Hey, Renne... Doesn't she look like Miss Tyme?" Florian asked.
"Huh, you're right." Renne mused

"Sure but, isn't that miss Tyme?" Florian asked
"Tyme? Oh no, that's her twin sister."
"She has a twin sister?" Florian and Renne asked
"Yep! You didn't know? Tyme was the Gym Leader before she retired. So Ryme took her place as the new Gym Leader."
"Huh. I never knew that." Florian mused. "I wonder what type of Gym Leader she's good at."
"Oh that's Rock Type."
"Rock Pokemon, huh? Funny cause I don't see it. But Looks can be deceiving." Renne mused. "Anyway, let's tell the staff we pass."
"Yep." Florian nodded as they walk back to the Gym.

"Amazing job, you two!" The Staff clapped. "You were a fantastic opening act."
"Haha! Thanks!" Florian scratch his head sheepishly. "So Renne. Since you went first against the Gym Leader, I'll go next."
"All right. Unless the Gym Leader is okay facing two of us in a Double Battle. Though I don't think it might be fair unless there are some rules for the double battle."
"Well you two can face the Gym Leader together in the Double Battle."
"Really? The two of us?" Florian asked.
"Yep. It takes skills and experience on Double Battle but the rules are the same. So long as the Pokemon and trainers know how to cooperate with each other."
"I see. Since me and Florian work so well, this should be simple enough."
"Well we are a nasty duo, hehe." Florian chuckled.
"Hehe. I couldn't help but agree." Renne smirked
The Staff sweatdrop with a nervous laugh. "Ahaha... well you two did do an amazing job. So are you two ready to face Gym Leader Ryme, the MC of RIP?"
"Yes." Both Florian and Renne nodded.
"Understood! Then it should be time for Ryme to wrap things up now. You two can head to the battle court." The Staff smiled as Renne and Florian nodded and leave the Gym Lobby.
(Pokemon Scarlet and Violet ost - Ryme's Rap Battle)
Florian and Renne then heard some rapping going on in the Battle Court. They made their way there.
"This is MY time, and this is MY day! You're not gonna stand in my way!" A Young Rapper sang as he begin his first rap battle against Ryme as he approach her with confidence. "Listen up, Ryme—your reign ends here! You're gonna get rung up by this pro cashier!"
*BOOM chhh BOOM* *BOOM chhh BOOM*
"Pro cashier? Well, I'm about to check out. Musta got your rhymes on deep discount!" Ryme rebutted as she approaches. "Please—you think you can step to my game? Fool, I got *rhyme" right there in my name! I'm a specter from which there is no protector, and victory unto me you will render when the crowd sees you're a mere pretender!"
"OOOOOOOH!" The Audience let out an Oh snap comment.
"You wanna end my reign? Yeah— keep dreamin'. Buy a book of rhymes, kid and start readin'!"
*BOOM chhh BOOM* *BOOM chhh BOOM*
(BGM paused)
"I'm done— you won!" The Young rapper raised his hands and step back and then took off. "My rhymes totally whiffed! But I'll be back—maybe after my next shift!"
Ryme jawdropped. "Hold up! Where you goin'? That's all you got!? "After my next shift?" Seriously? Bars over jokes, come on!" she grumbled as she palm face. "That was over way too fast. It get boring wearin' the crown if no one makes me fight to keep it."
(Resuming Ryme's Rap Battle)
"Is that how rap battle suppose to end?" Florian asked as he and Renne approached.
"Oh hey, it's my two openers! Nah, that's hardly a way for a rap battle to end. Too fast is too boring. Ya feel me?" Ryme asked
"True. It is rather anticlimatic." Renne agreed.
"So what'cha here for? For a rap battle or a Gym Battle?"
"Gym Battle." Florian smiled. "I'm not too familiar with the rap battle. I'm pretty much a fresh blood."
"Same. I never thought Miss Tyme's sister would be a rapper, or even know that she has a twin sister." Renne replied
"Yeah, me too. So you like raping Miss Ryme?"
"Drop the miss part. But yeah, Rapping is my jam!" Ryme nodded. "I rap what's in my soul, baby Weavin' words into a symphony of poetry." Then she begin her raping pose. "Don't try it with me—you won't last one round. I'm like Sableye: my Mean Look'll lock you down! Like that! You feel me?"
"Hmm... I think I get it." Florian rub his chin as he clear his throat. "Yeah, so what? You think your Mean Look can wane us down?" Then he begins to pose where he lowers his Gatsby Cap and slightly turn his head to the right slightly while his eyes face Ryme. "Please! We're like a Carlink. We're Dazzling Gleam so bright, Mean Look'll just go blind. So enough preamble, time for the show!"
"Ohohoh!" Ryme laughed and clapped. "Not bad for your first time! You may be fresh blood, but you already got the hang of it already. Then let's get to it! You two duets battle me, and show me who you are!" Then she head to the opposite direction to take position as Florian and Renne did the same.

"My music's not all that tops the charts—my skills with Ghost types are the best around! Lest you forget it, the name is Ryme, and I'm known as the MC of RIP!"
"All right, MC of RIP, you got a deal! Then let's see if your spooky Ghost-Types can take down our Mix team!" Florian replied. "But know this before we fight. You stand against the deadly duo of Florian and Renne. The Rising Star of the Pokemon League. We'll turn this battle of rap and Pokemon Battle into a show where the Greavard howl to wake the children of the night!"
"My goodness, when did you become good at rapping all of the sudden?" Renne wondered.
"Hahaha! You got potential I see. All right, let's dance in this dead of night! Because dead or alive, let' make this a vibe!" Ryme got out her Pokeballs.
Florian and Renne got out their Pokeballs as the Referee came in.
"All right! For this Gym Battle, it will be a double battle! Two Pokemon facing two Pokemon! In this 2 vs 1 battle, the Challengers will have only two Pokemon each. And only one of you can Terastalize your Pokemon. So choose wisely. While the Gym Leader will have four Pokemon. Are all trainers ready?" The Referee asked as all three nodded. "Then begin!"
MC of RIP - Ryme
"Go, Ceruledge/Armarogue!" Florian and Renne throw out their Pokeball and Ceruledge and Armarogue came out and take their stand.
"Go, Mimikyu and Banette!" Ryme throw her Pokeballs and came out Mimikyu and Banette.
"Kyu!" Mimikyu cried
"Banette!" Banette roared.
"Show us an awesome battle, Ryme! And you two student kids!" One of the audience yelled
Renne giggled. "Armarogue, Psyshock Mimikyu!"
"Ceruledge, Shadow Claw Banette!" Florian command as both Ceruluedge and Armarogue charge toward the Pokemon while Armarogue begin to fired Psyshock at Mimikyu.
"Mimikyu, dodge and counter with Shadow Claw on Armarogue! Banette block and counter with Shadow Ball!" Ryme yelled
Mimikyu swiftly dodge the Psyshock as Bannette block the Shadow Claw with his arms and knock back sliding, then Mimikyu rush toward Armarogue and Shadow Claw him while Banette channel Shadow Ball and then strike on Ceruledge, pushing him back. Armarogue recovered along with Celuledge as Armarogue used Flamethrower on Banette while Cerludge used Sword Dance to increase its strength. Mimikyu counter with Shadow Ball while Banette go for a Sucker Punch and knock away Armaruge.
"Ceruledge, Bitter Blade Banette!" Florian yelled
"Intercept with Shadow Claw Mimikyu!" Ryme command as Both Ceruledge ready to Bitter Blade Banette, but Mimikyu interfere with Shadow Claw. "Banette, Shadow Sneak!"
"Ban!" Banette created a shadow on ground that slither toward Cerledge and then attack Ceruledge.
"That's Ryme for ya! She isn't an expert on Double Battle for nothing!" One of the audience remarked.
"Ryme is pulling up quite the challenge." Renne told Florian.
"Yeah. Her Pokemon and skills in double battle are no pushover. We're gonna have to watch each other's back." Florian said
"Right." Renne nodded. "Armarogue, Psyshock on Mimikyu and Bandette!"
Armarogue jump in the air and then form purple orbs and throw it at them.
"Both of you dodged!" Ryme command as both Mimkyu and Bandette dodged
"Ceruledge, Bitter Blade Mimikyu!" Florian yelled as Ceruledge rushed and then slash Mimikyu, leaving purple marks and restoring his HP by taking Mimikyu.
"Hoho. Now I see some teamwork in effect. Bandette Phantom Force Ceruledge." Ryme smirked
"Ban." Bandette disappeared into the vortex.
"Mimikyu, Double Team!"
"Kyu!" Mimikyu created clones of himself as Armarogue and Ceruledge look around to search for the real one.
"Which one is the real one?" Florian asked before notice Bandette isn't in sight. "Where did Banette go?" Then Bandette appeared from Phantom Force and then attack Ceruledge, knocking him away. "Ah!"
"It isn't the only one who can use Phantom Force." Renne muttered. "Florian, watch Armarogue's back. Armarogue, cover Ceruledge with Armor Cannon!"
"Arm!" Armarogue pauldren form into cannon and then begin firing projections toward Mimikyu and Bandette and both were struck by it.
"Ceruledge, Shadow Claw Banette!" Florian command as Ceruledge's bladearm glow black with purple outline, rush and then critical strike on Bandette.
"Baaaan!" Banette winched and nearly knock off the stage.
"Oh! Banette!" Ryme exclaimed.
"Lucky you." Renne giggled. "You got a critical hit and it's super effective."
"Yep~" Florian did a playful wink and tap bunk his head.
Banette got back on his feet.
"Mimikyu Shadow Ball Armarogue, Bandette, you too!' Ryme yelled
"Mimikyu and Banette channel Shadow Ball and throw them toward Armarogue and Ceruledge.
"Ceruledge, Quick Guard!" Florian yelled as Ceruledge put both its blade arms together, becoming outline with a bright red aura and then form a bright red barrier to repel both Shadow Balls.
"Florian, can you get Armarogue an extra boost in the air?" Renne asked
"Yeah, leave it to me." Florian nodded. "Ceruledge, give Armarogue a boost!"
Ceruledge knee down and offer his blade arms as a stepping stool.
"Armarogue, let Ceruledge give you an extra boost!" Renne command as Armarogue jump to Ceruledge and then Ceruledge throw Armarogue into the air. "Now Cannon Fire the Battle court!"
"Arm!" Armarogue aim his Pauldren cannons and fired projections to the battle court where explosion cover the court.
"Ceruledge, Phantom Force Bandette." Florian smirked as Ceruledge vanished into the portal as Armarogue landed on his feet.
"Ngm I can't see from this smoke!" Ryme grumbled as Mimikyu and Bandette look around as the smoke faded away. "Better!" Then Ceruledge appeared in front of Banette and attack him.
"Baan!" Banette yelled in agony and was knocck away and eyes rolling."
"Ah! Banette!" Ryme exclaimed
"Banette is unable to battle!" The Referee announced as the TV screen Ryme's Pokeball light out while three remain lights on.
"That's some nice team work!"
"Using the smoke to cover each other movement! Nice!"
Ryme recalled Bandette. "Rest up, Banette." She then switch Pokeball. "Houndstone, go!" She throw her next Pokeball and came out Houndstone who barked.
"It's the evolve form of Greavard!" Florian remarked.
"Mimikyu, Light Screen!" Ryme command as Mimikyu created a Transparent barrier, now Houndstone, Crunch on Armarogue!"
"Ruff!" Houndstone then rush toward Armarogue.
"Stop Hounstone with Shadow Claw!" Florian yelled as Ceruledge rush and then used Shadow Claw to intercept.
"Armarogue, Flamethrower!" Renne commands as Armarogue show flamethrower as Celuledge jump back, knocking Houndstone away but did little damage because of light screen.
"Now Mimikyu, Shadow Sneak Armarogue!" Ryme command
"Kyu!" Mimikyu extended its shadow and slither toward and go behind Armarogue and then attack him.
"Arm!" Armarogue winched
"Armarogue!" Renne exclaimed.
"Hounstone, Crunch Ceruledge and throw it!"
"Ruff!" Houndstone barked as he open his mouth and the bite hard on Ceruledge's blade arm, causing him to winched as Houndstone then drag Ceruledge and throw him toward Armarogue.
"Catch him!" Renne command as Armarogue readied his arm to catch Ceruledge and was push back sightly.
"Renne, cover Ceruledge for me." Florian requested as Renne nodded.
"Armarogue, Flamethrower them!" Renne command as Ceruledge got back on his feet and then fired Flamethrower toward Mimikyu and Hounstone.
"Mimikyu, Double Team! Houndstone, Phantom Force Ceruledge!" Ryme command as Mimikyu created clones while Houndstone vanished into the portal.
"Ceruledge, Sword Dance!" Florian command as Ceruledge buff itself.
"Armarogue. Psyshock into the air and rain down those orbs!" Renne command
"Arrrm!" Armarogue channel said power and heed Renne's orders, launch the sphere into the air and then rain down spheres into the battlefield, destroying the clone and then reveal the real Mimikyu.
"Gotcha!"
"All right, Ceruledge, Arm Guard!" Florian command as Ceruledge then form a barrier aorund him and Armarogue as Houndstone appeared and attack, only for it attack to fail. "Now Bitter Blade!" Then Ceruledge's blade arm slashes Houndstone away, restoring its health.
"Houndstone!" Ryme exclaimed as Houndstone roll and stopped. He slowly getting back on his feet.
"Sword Dance really made it a strong move." Renne said.
"And Bitter Blade is a draining move too. Now Ceruldge is ready to go." Florian nodded.
"Haha. Oh the youthful energy really poses a threat. But the party still goin'!" Ryme said. "Mimukyu, Shadow Claw Armarogue, Hounstone, Helping hand!"
Houndstone howled as Mimikyu is cloaked in a green aura, lunged toward Armarogue and clawed him with Shadow Claw
"Aaaarm!" Armarogue winced and fell on his back and his eyes were swirling.
"Armarogue!" Renne exclaimed
"Armarogue is unable to battle!" The Referee announced as Renne's Pokeball light out, only one Pokeball remains.
"Tch!" Florian growled as Ceruledge respond with a growled.
"Armarogue, return!" Renne recalled Armarogue. "You go ahead and rest up." Then switch Pokeball. Venusaur, you're up!" she throw her Pokeball and came out Venusaur.
"Venusaur!" Venusaur roared.
"All right, Ceruledge! Let's avenge Armarogue with Shadow Claw Mimikyu!"
"Cer!" Ceruledge responded and then dash toward Mimikyu and slashed him critically.
"Kyuuuu!" Mimikyu winched and knock away in defeat.
"Mimikyu is unable to battle!" The Referee announced and then Ryme recalled Mimikyu.
"You did good baby." Ryme put away the Pokeball. "So now I'm down to two. But at least I managed to take down one of your Pokemon. But it will take more then avenging to defeat me!" She pull out her final Pokeball. "Now for the final event! Go Toxtrcity!" She throw her Pokeball and came out Toxtricity low-key formed.
"Woohoo!" The audience cheered
"Look like Ryme brought out her rhythm partner!"
"You know what that means? It's Terastallize time!"

"Kick back, relax, and enjoy this last track. Turn it up for a grave-rittlin' good time!" Ryme yelled out as Hounstone emerge from the ground and join the audience.
"Oh, Florian look!" Renne pointed to the Greavard dancing on one of the boom boxes.
"Oh that's so cute!" Florian said sweetly
"When I'm on the mic, even the dead rise up! DJ G-Rave over there's sure feelin' it!" Ryme said as she pull out her Tera orb, gathering energy and throw it on Toxricity, encasing with Tera Energy and then gain the Ghost Tera Jewel.
"Huh. I definitely saw that coming." Renne mused
"What, the Pokemon or the Terastalize?"
"The Pokemon. But be careful though."
"All right, Toxricity, Discharge! Houndstone, Helping Hand!" Ryme yelled as Houndstone howled as Toxtricity roared and then shoot electricity toward Ceruledge and Venusaur.
"Quick Guard!" Florian yelled as Ceruleduge form a bright red barrier again and prele the attack.
"Venusaur, Petal Dance!" Renne command
"Saaur!" Venusaur summon and send out multiple Pink Petals and struck both Toxricity and Houndstone.
"Houndstone, Crunch on Ceruledge! Toxtricity, support Houndstone by Discharging again!" Ryme command as Houndstone vanished into the portal and then Toxtricity fired electricity toward Venusaur and Ceruledge
"Dodge it!" Both Renne and Florian yelled as both Pokemove dodge the teletricty attack but Houndstone Crunch Armarogye's bladearm.
"Cer!" Ceruledge winched.
"Ceruledge!" Florian exclaimed.
"Now throw him toward Toxtricity!" Ryme command as Hounstone throw Ceruledge to Toxtricity.
"Venusaur, rescue Cerueldge with Vine Whip!" Renne command.
"Saur!" Venusaur extended vines from him and then capture Ceruledge.
"Gotcha!" Ryme smirked. "Poison Job the Ceruldge Toxtricity while Crunch the vines Hounstone!"
Hounstone jump and bite on Venusaur's vines.
"Saur!" Venusaur winched
"Agh!" Renne winched as Toxtricity rush and then Poison Jab Ceruledge
"Cer!" Ceruledge winched and knock away. Ceruledge getting back on his feet but he's been Poison. "C-Cer..."
"Ceruledge, what's wrong?!" Florian asked in concerned
"He's been poison!" Renne answered
"Ah!"
"That's right baby! Toxtricity, Hex on Cerueldge!"
"Tooooox!" Toxtricity's eyes flow purple and red as a sphere of black energy with red eyes appred in the middle and released multiple dark energy rings at Ceruledge and struck him.
"Ceeeeeer!" Ceruledge winched and then fell on his back as eyes swirling.
"Cerueldge, no!" Florian yelled.
"Ceruledge is unable to battle!" The referee announced as Florian's Pokeball on the screen lights out, only one remain.
"Ceruledge return!" Florian recalled Ceruledge. "You did wonderful work. You earn a long rest."
"Ryme really push us into a corner. Just as we did to her. Are you feeling excited, Florian?" Renne asked with a wink.
Florian smirked. "Oh, yeah." Florian got out his Pokeball. "Meowscarada, time to put on a show!" He throw his Pokeball and came out Meowscarada.
"Meow!" Meowscarada took his stand.
"Renne, you can do the Terastallize."
Renne look surprised but then smirked as she nodded.
"With pleasure." She pulled out her Tera Orb and gathering Tera Energy and throw it over Venusaur and encasing with Tera energy, gaining the Grass Tera Jewel.
"VENUSAUUUUR!" Venusaur roared.
"OOOOOOH we got ourselves a exciting battle!"
"Oh that Venusaur brings me the chills off all a sudden!"
"All right Ryme, you push us to a corner—that's a fact. But my Meowscarada is the star of the show! Better watch out for its Flower Trick—it'll be a real blast!" Florian smirked.
"Hoho! You talk spunk, I'll give you and Renne that. But you forget—I'm the MC of RIP. Toxtricity will shock you with its moves! Houndstone will Crunch you till it hurts! But hey, let's gamble! Let's put one a show to show which one is the boss!" Ryme responded back. " Toxtricity, Poison Jab Venusaur, Houndstone, Play Rough with Meowscarada!"
"Tox/Ruff!" Toxtricity then ran toward Venusaur while Houndstone ran toward Meowscarada.
Venusaur, Sweet Scene them!" Renne command
"Sauuur." Venusaur let out a sweet aroma from his flower that cause Toxtricity and Houndstone to stop
"Wait what?!" Ryme exclaimed
"Meowscarada, Flower Trick them!" Florian snapped his finger with a smirked.
"Meow~" Meowscarada spin gracefully, summoning flowers around him, then tap one flower and then the other, snapped his finger and made them disappear. "Meeeow!" Meowscarada spin around, open his arms and the Flowers appeared over Toxtricity and Houndstone since they're near each other and strike a critical hit as it exploded.
"Toooox/Aruuu!" Trotricity and Houndstone winched.
"Venusaur, finish this show with a flowery stage of Petal Dance!"
"VENUSAAAUR!" Venusaur roared as Tera energy increase the power of Petal Dance as multiple pink petals appeared and then launch toward Toctricity and Houndstone as both of them respond in surprised and then struck them

"Toooox/Aruuu!" Trotricity and Houndstone yelled out in agony as the petals blow them away, pass through Ryme and slam on the flow.
Toxtricity's Terastalize has been canceled as his eyes swirling while Houndstone head was circling stars.
"WOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The audience cheered loudly and excitedly.
Ryme then let out a laughed as she slap her knee. She recalled her Pokemon to her Pokeball and then walk over to Florian and Renne as Venusaur return to normal. "Great Battle—chilling AND thrilling! And I even got that tiny rap battle in the end! Haha! You two kids got spirit. You earned my Gym Badge, all right. And how about a VIP pass for my next show, too?"
"Aww, yeah!" Florian thumps up. "Let's take a photo to celebrate!"
"Hehe. Then let's take this photo." Renne agreed as they begin to head into position as Ryme begin to do her show as she rap as the audience cheering. Florian take the picture as he give a thumps up while Renne stick out her tongue and wink as she pull her cheek on her left eye down.
After the show, Ryme approached. "I outta thank you two. I'm feelin' so good that I think I'm also gonna let you two have these." She pull out TM and handed them to Renne and Florian as they take it. Too bad it's over! Make your way back to my stage sometimes. Maybe next time we can do a rap battle instead."
"Haha! Sure, why not? I better improve then." Florian chuckled. "Now we got seven Gym Badges!"
"Ah so I'm your almost final. Which of the Gyms have you been?"
"Well there's the Gym Leader for Bugs, Grass, Water, Electric, Psychic, and Normal." Renne answered.
"Ah, so your final one is Grusha. The Ice Gym Leader in Flaseado Mountain." Ryme turn her head to the other exit to down. "See that path there? That will lead you to Glaseado Mountain. But be careful. He's the strongest Gym Leader who know his Ice Types. I would suggest you stay for the night. It's dangerous to go out in the cold at this hour."
"We were planning on that, actually." Renne said. "We'll leave one we're all good and fed."
"In that case, I'm sure you two got some scary-good adventures ahead. I'll be cheerin' for ya! Later!"
"Later!" Florian and Renne waved and they headed back to the Gym Lobby to report they won the Gym Battle.

"Just as she did to us." Florian chuckled. "Do you know a good place we can stay for the night?"
"I would recommend the Hot Spring Inn called Aruora's Inn. It's located by the entrance to the town located in the south."
"Ah, so the one we came in then. Thank you for the recommendation." Renne said
"Then have a good night." The Staff bow.
"Hey hey!" A voice called out to them as Florian and Renne turn and see Rika and a little girl approached.

"Nope. Not in the least. Every Gym is a fruitful experience." Florian answered.

"Heey!" The Little girl with black hair and eyes pouted. She wears a blue bonnet with a matching jacket and dress, a yellow pantyhose, blue shoes and black gloves. She also wears a necklace with a key on it and has blush stickers on her cheeks, symbolizing her happy personality. The Steel locket and the metallic silver coloring of her clothing. "I may be small but I'm not a kid!"
"That's gonna be hard to argue with your age, Squirt." Rika said "Oh yeah, that reminds me. you two haven't met her, yeah?"
"Yeah, this is our first time meeting." Florian answered as Rika approach next to him.
"Okay, this young man is Florian!' Rika tap Florian's shoulder. "And the cutie next to him is Renne. They're so good with Pokemon, even La Primera's taken an interest in them!"
"Oh wow... Oh wow!" The girl look amused. "B-But I think the Pokemon on Team Poppy are really strong, too. Like, REALLY strong!"
"Which one of you is stronger, do you think?"
"Well, ummm... I'm one of the Elite Four! So I'm more amazing!"
"Ahahahaha! Now aren't you just adorable!"

"Hey, wait up!" Rika called out by reaching her hands but too late as she left the lobby.
"My, someone quite an impatient girl." Renne said. "But she'll definitely get along with a few friends I know."
"Well, you two keep up the good work! You heard the kid—she's waiting for you two!" Then Rika walk to the door. "Wait up, Poppy! Don't leave your pal Rika behind!"
"Well, there they go." Renne said as she yawn. "I'm getting exhausted for some reason."
"Well we did have a good battle. Let's call it a night and have ourselves a nice hot spring bath." Florian suggested
"Very well. I can use a nice relaxation." Renne said as they leave the Lobby and head to the Inn.
I thought really hard on Ryme's Rap battle and the Double Battle and it was exhausting but fun! Honestly, the Double Battle was not only the perfect exercise for Florian and Renne's Teamwork but also do two things at one time. All that's left are two final things involving the Gym Leader and Team Star! We're almost there, everyone! Oh I'm so excited about that.
