Chapter 38 Girl in Blue

Judai was talking to Takashi and the others in his office and he was thinking about what he and Kohta said.
"I see..."Judai was frowning.
"Judai do you have any idea what those spiders might be?"Rei asked.
"I might... Do you remember the girl I met a long time ago?"He said.
"Yes. Arachane."Saya said.
"Well, I had a dream that showed her with spider parts, looks like that part of the dream was real."He said.
"This is really bad."Shizuka was worried.
"Damn it, is there anything we can do to stop her?"Takashi said.
"Just by the sight of those things, those waking corpses were nothing compared to it, so we all we learned about them is nothing with those bugs."Saya said."They are now simply infecting people, spiders make they're own nests and make more of them, and with those zombies wandering around they have enough food for them."
Kohta was looking outside the window and uses binoculars to see the spiders."And they are making webs with those zombies trapped inside of them."
"They're saving up more food for them. Can you see a girl with them?"Judai asked.
"No, only spiders, she must be hidding."Kohta said.
"Big bro i'm scared."Alice said.
"Don't worry, this place is safe, we have the weapons to fight her."Judai said."But i'm sure regular guns won't do much against them, so it would be best to aim at some sort of weak spot."
"Yeah."Rei looks down.
"What do we do now?"Naoumi asked.
"We have to warn the troopers and the gangs about this, it's better to be ready instead of lying."Judai said.
Later
Judai was making a announcement and everyone came.
"Okay... I'm not going to sugar coat this but theres a new problem in the city, theres been a infestation of giant spiders covering a area of the city."Judai said.
Many got scared since giant spiders aren't something that were expecting.
"He must be faking it!"A idiot guy said.
Judai grunts and goes down dragging the guy up by his ear.
"Ow! Ow! Ow!"The guy said.
He puts him in front of the window and gives him binoculars."Am I faking it?!"
The guy looks and sees the spiders getting scared.
"I rest my case."Judai walks away from the guy shaking in fear.
"Hey man, how do we deal with them?"Hiro asked.
"Well we have to find what they're weaknesses are first, these aren't normal spiders, just by looking at a few I can tell some are poisonous, we have to find what they're weaknesses are before fighting them."Judai said.
"Yes, learn about your enemy before fighting it."Souichiro said.
Judai sends some scouts to observe the spiders to make sure theres something about them they can use again.
Judai goes to his office and rests against his chair, he closes his eyes and takes a small nap.
He opens them and got surprised to appear in a asylum.
"Where the heck am I?"He said.
He goes down the halls and could hear screams from the crazy people that live here.
He then sees Arachne skipping down the hallway in front of him with a big smile.
"You!"He chases after her.
He goes down a corner and he heard voices from doctors.
"That girl is completly insane."
"Yes, she comes from a rich family and she's the only survivor from the fire, we can have her money along with the others."
Judai frowns, greed, something that he despises so much, his family left some money for him when they died just to make sure he was safe.
Many people tried to get that from people trying to adopt him or doctors like them, but the lawyers said that his parents made it clear only Judai can touch that money and nobody is allowed to touch it, if they did it would be a crime.
Judai kept going to find Arachne since he has to stop her.
He then passes by a room but stops, he goes back and looks inside, he sees a girl there with long brown hair wearing a blue dress looking outside a window.
Judai stares at her, theres something off about her."Who are you?"
She turns around revealing the white apron and she has green eyes while being beautiful.
They stared at each other and Judai said:"What is your name?"
She moves her lips as if she's thinking about it, she opens her mouth.
"Judai!"They saw Arachne and she goes towards them with spider legs coming out from her back.
Her eyes were glowing red with the world they were at cracking because of her.
The world outside was now a massive spider web and she goes to get Judai.
He gets ready but then the other girl took out a blade and slashes at Arachne making her scream.
"My chest!"She screams before going away.
In the real world Arachne wakes up screaming.
She checks herself and looks around."Who was she?"
Back in the dream world
Judai was staring at the girl as the outside was changing into a different place that was more magical but theres a hint of madness to it.
The girl looks at him and he said:"Now, who are you, are you the girl that they were stealing from, the one that they sent here to this place after her parents got killed."
She looks at him in the eyes, she could see a familiar pain that she felt.
"I... am... Alice."She said.
Judai wakes up and looks around."No."
He slams his fist to the desk."I needed to know more about her."
He gets up and looks outside a window."Alice, Alice."He thinks about that name.
She clearly felt damaged at what happened to her a long time ago, but theres something wrong, it seems she's getting her connection cut through time.
"Someone is messing with her."Judai said."I need to find out more about her."
The girl Alice was at her world and she was wearing a filthy dress looking out from a rooftop.
"Who was he?"She said."Is he the wolf I need."
Note:Judai is warned about the spiders and has sent scouts to learn more about them, he had another dream with Arachne but this time, theres a second girl called Alice, if you can guess who she is then well done in knowing about her from these hints.
