Chapter 78 Bird of the Dead

Judai was at the city after he got they're new member inside the base, he looks down from on top of a building seeing the many things that was happening.
He jumps over the buildings to avoid the streets. "The less time i'm done there, the safer."
Good thing being a orphnoch gives someone better skills to traverse the area.
He heard a crow and looks up to see one flying around, many were standing on taller buildings as they looked down at him.
"Oh no." He said.
They charged at him as a flock making him take out a pistol to shoot at them while going inside a door to avoid them.
He was inside the building and walks downstairs. "The crows had to be infected. I saw them before and they are still a threat."
Judai goes inside the building and he saw a few guys wearing masks down on the floor, he checks them and saw they weren't infected.
"Wait a minute, these are just those gangs that I didn't want as they murder for fun." Judai said.
It seems the one that did this killed them and some were very brutal from the bodies he saw.
Judai kept going and saw many of the crows looking outside the windows.
"Those things are still after me." He said.
Cash was hidding inside of the shadows and knows Judai is nearby.
He throws a brick to the other side getting Judai's attention.
Judai goes to check it, but then he thinks about something, he throws pebble foward making Cash think it was him, the criminal came out only to get tackled by Judai.
"Got you!" Judai said.
The two wrestled with each other as Cash struggles with Judai, Cash rolls on the floor as he tries to push Judai back.
Judai then saw markings on his face before he got kicked away, Cash runs away and Judai got up.
"Now it makes sense, he got turned into a Orphnoch after his execution." Judai said.
Cash runs down the hallways as Judai chases after him, the two went around and Judai could see all he had was a machete and crowbar.
"Of course, he doesn't have good weapons like me." Judai said.
Cash jumps off of a window to another room and Judai goes inside of it, he sees that Cash was gone.
"Where are you?" Judai looks around.
He takes out his scythe and gun getting ready for where he might appear, Cash sneaks around as he thinks of something.
But then they heard a screech making them worried, then a giant bird crashes through the wall, it was a giant bird with large talons called Kid Napper.
It charges at Judai who dodges it and the Kid Napper sees Cash grabbing him with it's large talons bringing him outside.
"Let me go." He slashes at it with his machete making it screech before starting to peck at him.
Cash blocks it with his blade until Judai shoots it in the back, Cash got free as he jumps back to the building, he then looks at Judai.
"Why did you save me?" Cash said.
"Look, that thing is out there and soon those crows will come so we gotta work together." Judai said.
"Well good point, okay i'll play your game instead." Cash said.
The two saw the crows coming inside and they ran away from them, while one by one they're easy, in this horde it's too dangerous.
The crows chased after them and they went around the halls while shooting some of them down.
"How many of these birds are there?!" Cash said.
"Your guess is a good as mine." Judai said.
Kid Napper chases them again and they avoided it's claws before it hits a wall getting stuck, they took the chase to go to a door and closed it.
They were inside a stairway and went down.
"Okay with those things we need to avoid the streets." Cash said.
"Isn't there a tunnel underground or something?" Judai said.
Cash thinks about it. "Close, a sewer."
"Oh perfect." Judai said with sarcasm.
They went down and they heard the birds trying to bash the door open.
"They just won't give up, we gotta go." Cash said and they ran down.
Kid Napper busted through the door and flies down with it's flock making many of the birds rush down.
The two survivors kept running before they reached a basement, they looked at the door and Judai said: "They'll just bash it again."
Cash sees a barrel of gas nearby. "Then let's cook them." He goes to the barrel and kicks it outside the room to the stairs.
The lid opened making it leak out and Cash throws a match that was lit up, they closed the door as fire spreads up burning the birds.
They saw a manhole and went down before the fire came inside, outside the building catches on fire before burning down crushing any zombies that were near.
The duo came out of another manhole and Judai said: "Well that's that, but tell me why did you go around instead of getting help."
"Because my former boss, Lionel Starkweather, set me up after I made his stupid movie, now it's time for payback, I thought you were working for him." Cash said.
"Now I see, we got some sicko out in this city. So what's the plan?" Judai asked him.
"I'm going to personally "thank" Starkweather for what he did, and make sure he pays!" Cash punches his hand. "Also if you want to come hear this, theres this freak that's a big guy with a stiched face and carrying a launcher, if that guy finds us he will chase us."
"Just what we needed, okay so theres another thing out there. Should I contact for help?" Judai said.
"No, that will make us bigger targets, just follow my lead and i'll take you to where Starkweather is." Cash said.
The two went together as the duo went after Starkweather wihile avoiding the creature that Cash said.
At the distance loud stomps were heard as a creature moves foward, a zombie came foward but it got punched in the head destroying it.
"STARS!"
Note: Cash came and helped Judai out, also the Kid Napper is another rejected creature from Resident Evil, I decided to add it here to make more interesting enemies.
