Chapter 89 Crying Witch

The group was going down the streets as Faiz looks around since the more they went around the city, the more empty parts start to appear.
"The more we go the more the streets are empty." Cowboy said.
"More likely since the other freaks eat the zombies." Ajax said.
Faiz looks around and he can feel there is some monsters but they're hidding.
A licker crawls around the area and they looked.
"This place always gives me the creeps." Vermin said.
"It's just part of the city." Snow said.
"Look, calm down we still have to deal with Starkweather's men." Cash said.
They heard a vehicle and they hide to see a military van as soldiers came out of it looking around.
"Wardogs." Cash frowns.
"Aren't those the soldiers that are like a new gang?" Snow said.
"They're not a real gang, they dogs for Starkweather." Swan said.
The leader comes out wearing a red beret as he looks around.
"That's Ramirez, he's the guy Starkweather sends, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a Orphnoch." Cash said.
"Okay, find those guys. If you see that woman, subdue her, that fish girl needs to get caught." Ramirez said.
"Fish girl?" Amelia said.
"Rachel." Faiz mutters.
The soldiers went to look for her and the group with they're guns and blades ready to kill them.
"Well we're fucked if we don't do anything." Snow said.
"Calm down." Faiz said.
They heard a roar as a mutated zombie comes out busting through the wall and it was a Tyrant Inferior.
"What is this thing?!" A Wardog said.
The creature punches him away killing the guy, they opened fire against it as the Tyrant Inferior kept going hitting many of them.
It charges at many and punches them one by one and Ramirez roars charging at the Tyrant Inferior punching it down.
It grows and gets up only for Ramirez to open fire against it's head making holes come out and he slashes it's off.
They got surprised as Ramirez kicks at it. "Stupid freak! Get and lets go you bastards!" He looks at his men.
They recovered and went away to do the search again.
The group managed to avoid them and Faiz said: "Theres no way a normal guy can do that, he must be a Orphnoch."
"Yeah, which means we have to be careful." Cash said.
They kept going and they heard crying from a nearby house.
"Who's crying?" Cowboy said.
"It's a woman." Amelia said.
Faiz raises a hand and he goes to check it, he goes inside a house and headed towards where the sound is coming.
He enters the living room and he saw a woman that was pale and has long hair hunched down holding her face.
Who is she? He wonders.
A piece of the ceiling came down surprising him as it made a sound.
She growls and looks back revealing that she has red eye and sharp claws.
"A infected!" He said.
The woman known as a Witch screams and charges a thim but he dodges and kicks her away.
She got up and screams again attacking Faiz again as she made sparks come out but he grabs her hands and wrestles with her for a bit.
Faiz then knees her and slams the Witch down as she grunts but she still kept going.
"She's pretty durable." He said.
She grabs on to Faiz but then the scent of his Orphnoch side caused her to grunt as she smelled him more.
"What are you doing?!" He said.
She claws at his back but his suit protected him before she pushes her off and goes outside.
"Dude what happened?!" Fox said.
"Not now, let's just go." He said.
They got out of there as they ran to the other side.
Inside of the house the Witch crawls foward as she cries but she isn't completly sad, she goes outside and looks around while grunting.
A zombie goes towards her from the side but she claws it's head off killing it, she roars and searches for Judai using his scent as she wants him.
Faiz and the others kept running and they saw a hole on the ground from a unfinished construction job.
"Your kidding me, how are we supposed to get there?" Cowboy said.
They looked around and saw a board, Faiz puts it on the ground as a makeshift bridge, The Warriors used it to cross as Cash and Faiz held on to it on both sides to make sure it didn't fall.
After they passed by Cash jumps to the other side and they grabbed him, the group pulled him up and Faiz breaks the board so they wouldn't get followed.
They ran off as the Witch saw the hole making her grunt seeing it, she cries out and goes around to find another way to get at them.
"What was that?" Rembrandt said.
"I don't know, I decided to call her a Witch." Faiz said.
"Not a bad name." Swan said.
"She's vicious, so if you find another avoid it, they are attracted by loud noises and if they see you they will attack." Faiz warned them.
"Got that from her?" Swan asked.
"It's the best example I got, I just had bad luck because the house was broken." He said.
"Well let's go before another one comes." Amelia said.
"That's one broad, I won't touch." Ajax said.
"That's surprising." Cowboy said.
"Let's go." Faiz pushes them foward.
The group went foward as they managed to avoid a danger with the Witch, but the new mutations and the Wardogs around it will make everything in the future so they have to get it done soon and get to Starkweather before they find them.
Note: Tyrant Inferior is a canceled creature from Resident Evil, I liked the idea and added it, the Witch from Left 4 Dead also made appearance being my favorite from that game.
