A/N: first story, any criticism welcomed. I'm Navajo, so I will use the oldest excuse in all of fanfic history: english isn't my first language, literally. Just wanted to try making my own story.

Disclaimer: i own none of these characters

Leon S kennedy.

"Wha-what?" Leon's voice echoed as he was floating in the pitch blackness, he looked around trying to make sense of his location and how he ended up here. It was pitch black but Leon could see his body as clear as day and when he looked up, down, side to side and all around, it was like no directions existed here. Leon closes his eyes and tries to focus on his intuition to form an idea of what the hell was going on but only a feeling of heavy dread grew in his whole body. His heart pound on his ribcage and whispers from all directions became louder and louder, so loud he couldn't hear his own thoughts.

Leon tried to cover his ears to shut out the loud whispers and several screams of different people before a sharp pain exploded in his head. He lets out a scream only for the black fog to begin pouring into his mouth, everytime Leon tried to take a breath more fog came rushing in as if the fog was trying to drown him. Leon can only hold his throat as he choked and gagged on the suffocating black fog and Information started flashing in Leon's head.

Generators, lights, escape, run.

Leon felt like he was going to pass out, with the black fog still pouring into his mouth.

Generators, lights, escape, run.

The whispers rang throughout his head like a bell with information.

Generators, lights, escape, RUN!

A bright flash blinds Leon unexpectedly. He feels his feet touch something solid and Leon realizes he's standing and feels his body spark to life. He sees in the distance a bright light so bright his legs move towards it without hesitation. His heart pounding so hard and fast, the whispers becoming quieter with each step, the fog stops pouring into his mouth and he takes gulps of fresh air. Leon only runs faster when he sees that he's out running the black fog. Light consumes his body and dread melts away only to be replaced with hope. Leon with all the hope in his heart reaches out to touch the light, only for the ground to disappear from his feet and he falls. Leon felt the hope rip out of his body as he falls deeper into the abyss and everything fades to blackness.

Cold, Very cold was the first thing Leon felt when he started to regain consciousness, he stirred and with heavy eyelids tried to blink the grogginess away. The blurriness from his eyes slowly fades away. Leon was on his back and tried to make sense of his location and whatever situation he got himself into again. Leon felt a light breeze brush his face and above his head were tall dark trees and just at the edge of the treeline was a full moon illuminating the night sky. Outside? When did he get outside?

"What..where the hell am i?" Leon said as his body gained strength every second. He slowly sits up, rubs the blurriness from his eyes and begins to look around trying to orient himself. He was in a thick forest dark and cold with only the moon being the only light source. How did he get here? Leon reaches into his mind trying to remember something, anything and slowly flashes of memory begin flooding in vividly like it happened yesterday. Raccoon City, the undead, Claire, Marvin, the lab and the virus.

Leon remembers adventuring deeper into the raccoons lab to retrieve the G-virus for Ada, to take down Umbrella corporation and bring justice to everyone who was affected.

"Ada!" Leon just remembered Ada was injured waiting for him in the cart. He remembers the hopeful look and trust she gave him after the kiss. The kiss. Leon couldn't help the heat pooling in his stomach only Ada can create. "Dammit!" Leon shouted, feeling helpless and frustrated. He lost a lot of time being knocked out cold and being dumped in a forest like trash by who knows what or for how long.

Leon with new found determination to return to Ada to continue his search for the G-Virus. Standing on his feet, Leon dust off the dirt and gives his muscle a light stretch, no pain. Leon noticed his shoulder was no longer injured and the patch job Ada had done was gone. He checked himself, his R.P.D uniform covered with some grime and completely mended otherwise they fit comfortably but any gears and weapon he had were gone.

"TCH! You gotta be kidding me.." Leon again felt helpless and frustrated. He gave a heavy sigh "What the hell is going on?" leon frowned, he focuses on his intuition as it never failed him yet and his intuition tells him he's lost.

-

Leon had been running for a while now and he came up with several conclusions. One, he noticed how his stamina didn't run out and he didnt break a sweat. Two, The forest was endless and so was the night he noticed the moon didn't move an inch from its place in the night sky. Three, something or someone whispers soft and deadly was telling him to head towards the moon. Four, Leon's frustration grew with each step. Five, his intuition tells him they're not in Kansas anymore.

Leon stopped in his tracks, the frustration bubble in him had reached its boiling point. He really wanted to punch a tree right now but his body wouldn't follow his will and that made him even more frustrated. He wanted to shout, rip his hair out and cry. Was this hell? Had he angered the universe or something? He just wanted to help people, he wanted to bring down umbrella and stop the virus from hurting any more people. So many people counted on him and now here he was lost. He felt like he failed them, Marvin, Claire, ada and the man with the little girl who will never get justice, and the rest of raccoon city citizens. Leon felt tears threatening to slip from his eyes and before they had a chance to fall. A welcoming warmth spread on Leon's body and a soft light lit up the area. Leon looked towards the light source to see just behind some trees and thick bushes there was light softly dancing in the shadows.

Leon heard voices, not like the whispers that came and went, these voices sounded real and clear. Hope grew in his chest with each caution step he took. He didn't want to make any noise as he was afraid to scare anyone away. Leon presses his body against one of the trees trying to not be seen just yet, he peaks over and makes out a huge campfire crackling brightly and several figures sat on a large log.

"I wonder when the new survivors will show up, it's been awhile since we felt their presence." said a man in green with a dirty white scarf, he had a bored expression on his face. The same man turns towards another figure and asks " do you think they're lost?" A man with glasses and a nervous expression bites his nails and mumbles "Jake, you know they're never lost, the entity knows what she's doing." The man called Jake lets out an impatient groan. "Remember Jake, they've been ripped from their homes and everything they know. Have some compassion!" a woman in pink and shiny blue glasses scolded Jake softly.

Leon listened intensely, and tried to make sense of their conversation. Survivors? And what did they mean by feeling their presence? Had they felt him coming? An entity? Leon's head was starting to spin as he tried to fill in the dots himself. Jake turned towards the woman opening his mouth and his word was caught in his throat when he caught Leon's eyes.

Leon froze as this Jake person found his gaze among the trees and Jake had lost his words. The man with the glasses attentively gave Jake a look for his lack of reply and followed his gaze. At first he couldn't see whatever Jake was staring at and then his eyes focused on a man, but he only got a glimpse of him before he ducked behind the tree.

"Guys." The man alerted as he nodded towards the tree and the group at the campfire all sat straighter and shifted their attention to the tree Leon was hiding behind. Leon felt his heartbeat quicken at being caught. He didn't know these people and he was thinking of making a run for it, but Leon thought about how endless the forest seemed and how the moon never moves. Maybe they knew the way to raccoon city, maybe they're the ones that brought him here or maybe this was all a dream and he'll wake up back at the lab.

"Hey, you don't have to be afraid, we're not gonna hurt you." a soft voice broke through his thoughts. "You must be confused. If you come out and sit, we'll explain everything you need to know." the soft voice belonged to the woman in pink with the blue glasses, she was trying to sound as less threatening as possible. Leon composes and relaxes himself before stepping out from behind the tree.

There was silence as the group and Leon all examined each other. Leon counted only four people sitting on the log, two men and two women. The man in green with a white scarf the group called Jake, a man with white shirt with a tie and glasses, a woman with soft eyes and a soft smile in pink and the last woman unamused, with red braided hair and running shoes. Leon didn't know what to make of this bunch but his Intuition tells him he can trust them.

Leon shifted nervously in his spot as all eyes were on him. The woman in pink gave a soft smile "Come and sit.' she said as she got up and offered her spot on the log. Leon hesitates for a moment before he walks and takes a seat.

"I'm claudette Morel.'' The woman in pink introduced herself and the rest of the group followed with an introduction.

"I'm Dwight. Dwight Fairfield." the man with glasses and a white shirt with a tie said shyly,

"My name is Jake Park." The man in green said he locked eyes with Leon before looking at his feet.

"Meg." All the woman in running shoes said her expression was still unamused, like this wasn't new to her. Claudette shot Meg a look and Meg did her best to avoid making eye contact.
