A/N: So, KagamiPINKAgreste told me that today is National French Fry Day, so I decided to do a crossover with her two favorite pairings.

There was a torrential downpour in Emerald City, but that didn't dampen Shadow the Hedgehog and Amy Rose's spirits as they went out for lunch today. More precisely, they went to a restaurant called Funny Fries, a relatively new placed that – as the name suggested – served specialty French fries. However, Shadow was in anything but a funny mood as he checked the time on his phone.

"It's 12:30 PM; what's taking them so long!?"

Amy put a hand on Shadow's shoulder. "Relax, Shadow! Adrien and Kagami will be here soon enough; it is raining, after all…"

Shadow sighed. Just as he was about to give up on all hope, though, his Hedgehog Sense tingled, as did Amy's, which in their case told them that a couple of people were headed their way. Sure enough, within the minute, the two people they were looking for entered, both sharing an umbrella. One was a blond, thin, green-eyed boy with short, shaggy hair. He wore an olive green M65 field jacket, a retro Star Wars T-shirt depicting an X-wing and TIE fighter against a starry rainbow background, blue jeans and black leather combat boots. The other was a bob-cut Asian blunette with brown eyes and a voluptuous figure. She wore a dark blue form-fitting tank top, tight denim short shorts and pink/white sneakers.

"Hey Shadow! Hey Amy!" The boy waved at them.

"Hey Adrien! Hey Kagami!" Amy waved back. "Glad you could make it!"

"Please excuse our tardiness." The girl bowed. "Our taxi was stuck in traffic, and this rain wasn't helping either."

Amy smiled. "It's OK! Anyways, I wanna introduce you to my boyfriend, Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow, these are my friends: That's Adrien Agreste and his girlfriend Kagami Tsurugi."

"Nice to meet you!" said Adrien and Kagami.

Shadow smiled. "Likewise."

Shadow shook hands with Adrien and Kagami, and all four of them went up to the counter to place their orders.

"Hi, welcome to Funny Fries, the crispiest, funniest fries in Emerald City!" said the cashier, a black cat. "What can I get for you?"

"I'll have a Funny Steak 'n Cheese and a Dr. Pepper," said Shadow.

The cashier punched in Shadow's order. "OK, anything else?"

"I'll have a Just Plain Funny and a Coke," said Amy.

Kagami stepped up next. "I'll have a Sweet, Sour 'N Funny and a lemonade, please."

Finally, it was Adrien's turn. "I'll have four Funny Hogs and a Coke, please."

The cashier punched in everyone's order, and Shadow paid for everyone's food and drink. They all took a table next to the window.

"Shadow, you didn't have to pay for all of our food!" said Amy.

"Technically, no, but Adrien and Kagami are our honored guests, and they deserve to be treated well."

"Awww!" said Adrien and Kagami.

"So Shadow, tell me about yourself," said Adrien.

"I was created as a scientific experiment aboard the Space Colony ARK by Professor Gerald Robotnik. Things were going all right until the military organization known as G.U.N. invaded the place and killed my best friend Maria, Gerald's granddaughter. I spent 50 years in suspended animation, and then Dr. Ivo Robotnik – Gerald's other grandchild – freed me and attempted to manipulate me into destroying the planet. Long story short, were it not for my loving girlfriend Amy, her friend Sonic or anyone else, I might not be here today."

Amy clasped her hands together. "Awww!"

Amy and Shadow wrapped an arm around each other. Kagami and Adrien, however, were shocked by Shadow's story:

"Shadow, I'm sorry you went through that," said Kagami. "I applaud you for being able to weather such a tragedy, too."

Adrien gave a weak smile. "Truth be told, my mom fell into a coma years ago, and I haven't gotten over it since. Having an asshole father doesn't help, either."

"And neither does having a bitch for a mother."

Amy frowned. "Oh, that sounds awful! My mom sucked, too, which doesn't help because she died a few months ago and the family dynamic hasn't quite felt right since." Her smile returned. "Of course, having Shadow helps, as does my friend Cream and her mom Vanilla."

Kagami smiled. "Amy, you are blessed to have such wonderful people in your life! I feel the same way having Adrien around."

Adrien smiled, too. "Well, I'm glad I could help!"

"Hey, is it safe to come out now?"

Amy and Shadow were shocked when they saw a small, black, green-eyed chibi creature emerge from Adrien's jacket and begin floating around.

"Who are you!?" said Shadow.

"Name's Plagg, the Kwami of Destruction! I give Adrien his powers!"

"Kwami?" Shadow tilted his head.

"Allow me to explain!" Another Kwami – this one a red one with yellow eyes and multiple red/brown horns on its head – emerged from Kagami's purse. "I am Longg, the Kwami of Perfection. Us Kwamis have existed since time immemorial, representing various human concepts. However, we were largely invisible to the naked eye until 5,000 years ago, when a mage created the first Miraculouses, jewels that give the wearer special powers."

Shadow nodded. "Fascinating. Then again, these sound like something that Dr. Robotnik would wanna steal."

"Shadow?" said the cashier.

"Excuse me…"

Shadow went back to get the food and drink. After he passed it out, he offered his hands to Amy and Kagami.

"What are we doing?" asked Adrien.

"Before I eat, it's customary for me to join hands in prayer with my dining companions. I'm not a very religious person, but I find it comforting."

"Gotcha."

Everyone joined hands, while Shadow said the following prayer:

"God, if you exist, thank you for bringing us together for this meal and thank you for providing us with the food to make it possible. May this continue for as long as we live. Amen."

Everyone started digging in to their fries. Adrien in particular was horking down his Funny Hogs – in other words, fries topped with BBQ pulled pork and coleslaw.

"Adrien, must you embarrass yourself with your gluttonous eating habits?"

Adrien chuckled. "Sorry! I can't help it if I'm a big eater!"

Amy chuckled. "It's OK! My friend Sonic is a big eater, too!"

Shadow swallowed one of his fries, which were topped with steak and cheese sauce. "You forget that I have quite the appetite, too."

Amy giggled. "Oh, you silly!"

Suddenly, Shadow's Hedgehog Sense went off again, and it alerted him to Kagami, who had a fry sticking out of her mouth. Hers were topped with sweet & sour chicken. As per her encouragement, Adrien not only took the fry using his own mouth, but began making out with her, much to Shadow's confusion. Then, he felt Amy tap him on the shoulder, and as soon as he turned to face her, she pulled him in, and they began making out as well. While he had to wonder about her sometimes, he loved her nevertheless.

A/N: I had Shadamy making out too because KagamiPINKAgreste once texted me "Maybe his Rose encourage them to mirror Adrigami. 😻"
