"That's definitely looking better." Zara said, as she looked over Kay and then checked the readings on the scanner.
"He wasn't as unconscious as he looked." Aileen looked up for a moment, before turning her focus to Kay again. At least it seemed like her presence had made him feel secure enough to let go and relax a little bit. "That's it. Just sleep." She whispered into his ear. "Help's here. Just sleep."
"That actually might make a little sense." George said as he shared a look with Zara. It might not have been good for the man's health, but at least it would explain why it had been a nightmare trying to get him to stabilize. He didn't want to imagine the potential for damage that fighting like that could have done to the man. "We're definitely going to need to do some tests if we can get things under control." He murmured.
Zara nodded. "Do you think he'll listen to you and stop trying to fight?" She asked Aileen.
Aileen was quiet, gently stroking Kay's forehead for a moment. "Hopefully, but if he gets worse again, have someone come and get me. I'm going to go and help get things set up with the Jeedangians. Just rest." She whispered before pulling herself to her feet. All her heart wanted was to stay at Kay's side, after fearing that she was going to be too late the entire trip there, but she knew what he needed her to do, to protect the planet somehow when he wasn't able to.
"Agent X, what's the situation like?" She asked as she joined X and Chief Zeredon.
"Insane." X said with a shake of his head. "About all we've been able to do is to notify the resident aliens to stay in their houses. Lyndon from the Alien Rights Commission is taking over handling that. That's one good thing anyway. And we have a squad of Fmecks currently caged in Zed's fish tank thanks to the worms. Beyond that, it looks like everyone the MIB has ever even thought of arresting is on the loose."
"We'll need human suits." Aileen murmured. "Do any of your officers have experience with Earth or humans?" She asked Chief Zeredon.
"It looks like they're about to get on the job experience." Zeredon said with a shake of his head. "What areas would be the best to deploy them to?"
"Drekk. Definitely Drekk." X said. And before anyone could get the idea that he might be holding a grudge against him over what had happened when the tv crew had been there he added. "He's already knocked over a bank into the middle of a road, and I've been getting multiple people reporting seeing him all over town when we were trying to notify resident aliens to stay inside. We definitely need to get him off the streets. As it is, we're going to have to do a ton of neutralizing". And honestly with how crazy things had gotten, he wasn't sure if any amount of neutralizing was going to cover up everything.
"Drekk definitely should be a high priority." Aileen nodded. "Who else? And do you have any idea yet how the agents were poisoned?"
"I've been trying to pull up the security footage but something goes crazy every time I even get close." X said with a shake of his head. "It had to be the cake, but no clue as to how it happened, if it wasn't the cafeteria agents screwing something up, and Zara seemed pretty sure it wasn't that. Long range sensors are working, communications are up, which seems to be allowing tourists to call every ten minutes wanting to land. Someone needs to check the holding cells. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we haven't had a few break outs."
"Holding cells. I'll check them." Edie offered.
Aileen nodded. "Alright, Agent X, if you can start getting the human suits out and can give some advice on how to act like a human, that would be a big help." Probably not the best option having X instructing his fellow Jeedangians on acting like a human, she knew from what Kay had told her, but it was the best option she had at the moment. "I'll see if I can work out the best places to start sending them out." With how crazy things apparently were, though, she had no clue of how long it would take to get the situation under control.
