Ludwig and Jasmine said goodbye to Jasmine's family after eating dinner and made their way to the green warp pipe in the city. The couple jumped through it and arrived in the Mushroom Kingdom. They walked over to Ludwig's Clown Car, got inside, and flew towards Darkland.
"I can't believe it! We're having a baby!" Jasmine cheered.
"Me neither." Ludwig chuckled.
"I bet Tammy and Izzy will be so excited to have a little cousin soon!" Jasmine smiled.
After flying for some time, the two returned to the castle. They landed, hopped out of the Clown Car, and Jasmine grabbed Ludwig's hand.
"Let's go inside and tell everyone!" Jasmine said as she ran inside of the castle, pulling Ludwig with her.
"Oh my gosh! We're gonna have another grandchild?" Clawdia grinned.
"Yeah! I can't wait!" Jasmine replied.
"Is it gonna take a long time for the baby to get here?" Tammy, Iggy's 3 year old daughter asked.
Jasmine chucked. "It won't be too long, Tammy. I promise."
Tammy then looked at Jasmine and then at Ludwig.
"Will the baby be a human or a Koopa?" She asked them.
"Oh. I was so excited about having a baby, I never thought about that. What do you think, Luddy?" Jasmine replied.
"Hmm," Ludwig began to think. "I'm not sure. There are Human/Koopa hybrids, so the baby could be one of them."
"Well, whatever they are, we'll love them either way." Jasmine said.
Months have passed since everyone found out that Jasmine was pregnant. Ludwig and Jasmine learned that they were having a boy and they were more excited than before. Jasmine was especially happy, since she could name their son Lucas, the name she's always wanted to give her son someday. Jasmine and Ludwig were in their room one night, Jasmine resting and Ludwig working on new music. As Ludwig worked on the new piece, a thought came to him.
"Jasmine?" Jasmine opened her eyes and looked over at her husband.
"Yes, Luddy?" She replied.
"If the baby was a girl, what would you want to name her?" Ludwig asked.
"Hmm. I'm not sure. Why? Is there a name you like?" Jasmine said.
Ludwig thought for a moment. Then he spoke again. "Jacqueline is a pretty name."
"Oh yeah! Jackie would be a cute nickname! Maybe we can name our daughter that in the future." Jasmine replied.
"Yeah that does sound like a cute nickna-Wait a minute! Daughter?! Future?! Our first child isn't born yet, and you're already thinking of a second one!?" Ludwig exclaimed, his face turning red.
"Well, I think it'd be nice if Luke had a sibling someday." Jasmine replied. She laughed as Ludwig's face got even redder.
Sorry this chapter is kinda short. Hopefully the next one will be longer. I'll try to work on that one Friday or Saturday :)
