Shoto ended up leaving Shu at the train station where they had decided to meet. Instead of walking together, they planned to surprise Shoto's father at his Agency. Rei and Fuyumi with a little surprise standing in between her grandma and mom. Those black stubs with red tips slapping behind her were clearly seen.

"I feel very uncomfortable in the presence of such beauties," Shu bowed to the trio, "Including one that looks like her father."

"You know my otoosan?" Tot asked him.

"Now," Fuyumi picked up her son, "What have we told you about talking to strangers?"

"I think he's more than a stranger," Rei corrected her daughter, "You the young man seeing my son? Shu Ito."

"He told me you were beautiful," Shu was impressed, "Never smart."

Rei blushed at the compliment as Fuyumi gently elbowed her mom to get her to focus. Passing her grandson over to her as she took over the conversation.

"Since we were just notified about your coming," Fuyumi stepped up, "We'll be taking you back to our place since the area is on alert."

"Lead the way." He lifted a bag to her.

Fuyumi would take the bag and find a few choice gifts inside that had her showing her mother. One of them was a bamboo carved toy in the shape of a swallow. Came in the Endeavors' colors throughout the smaller details taken in.

"Thought the kid wanted something fun," He explained, "He doesn't have his grandpa's flame quirk?"

"Want to show him?" Rei asked her grandson.

Those small stubs spread open with just a little fluff of feathers floating out from her wings. Bursts into small flames that gave off their own light and were like one had a trio of colors found in the natural world when they spun in the air. Before fading into burnt feathers that dropped to the ground.

"Cute." Shu was impressed.

"We just discovered," Rei tried to recall, "Where we were sorting out child support and dad was confronting Takami-San."

"I got to hear this." Shu was all ears.

Both sides of the story came from both Fuyumi and Rei's POV while he was walking to their home. Learning about how the excited nephew of Shoto opened his stubby wings. Allowing his loose feathers to float into the air before they burst into flames. All when Enji learned of a one time moment between his daughter and former sidekick. Led to the creation of his first grandchild during his recovery after the Paranormal Liberation War Arc. Which made him smile the whole time since Shoto was the one that noticed his nephew did. Ended up freezing the air around his nephew by lowering the temperature. Making his nephew unable to ignite his feathers while picking up the kid.

"Didn't know he was a natural," Shu jokes, "Makes me lucky."

"Too many kids?" Fuyumi laughed with him.

"Nieces and nephews always underfoot," He recalled at the last family reunion, "Tiring and always made my quirk being used to repair broken objects."

"Sounds like you come from a large family." Rei was surprised.

"Pretty much," Shu couldn't count the number of relatives he had, "Makes me prepared for you guys."

He even lightened Fuyumi's load by picking up her son when he started to fall asleep while moving. He seemed to know how to hold a boy's size when he stood up. Surprising Fuyumi and having him posing for a picture that Rei took and sent. Numbers she sent them to were in the middle of interactions with the police. Going over the finer details for the report the police were writing up.

"Your mother and sister are already charmed," Enji looked at the screen of his son's phone, "He's fitting right in."

"Are you going to have time to meet him?" Shoto ended up asking.

"Maybe," Enji reclined in his seat, "We get this report done early and possibly get out. Early."

Smile he saw form on Shoto's face over his news secretly had him looking forward to meeting Shu. Not like he was curious about this new person when he heard about him. Through hero grapevine about him and his mother was very little when it came to rumors. Just one in particular snagged him and something he wanted to know. One about Shu was the result of a fling his mother shared with All Might.

Roles were reversed when Shoto was brought forth a retired legend and his new nurse. Asling practically smothered Shoto with all kinds of questions about their relationship. Toshinori waved and kindly greeted Shoto from where he stood.

"I am honored …." Shoto was cut off.

"More like, we are happy to be in your presence." Toshinori shared.

He then coughed up blood when he tried to bow to Shoto and Shu out of kindness. That Asling had a napkin in hand to wipe his lips clean of a blood trickle. He accepted wholeheartedly by taking hold of her hand with one of his own. Had the two looking into their eyes and the world around them disappearing. Blush that coated Asling's face from the closeness of Toshinori.

"Can you two play heart throb later?" Shu's voice interrupted them, "Not that I disapprove of your moment."

"Um…" Shoto didn't know what to say.

Tension in the air lingered when Toshinori was helped back into a standing position. Taking hold of the napkin to wipe his own blood from his lips. Struggling to find his voice when the metallic taste came to his tongue.

"Show him in," Toshinori mumbled to Shu, "Give us a second."

"I set up the lounge in the front half of the house for you guys." Asling pointed out.

She ended up winking at her son and Shoto while helping Toshinori back on to his feet. Making sure to be gentle in moving with him when he leaned on her. Showing the strength he once showed wasn't what he once had. Which Shoto silently observed from his place beside Shu without a word. Way Toshinori accepted her help with a smile Shoto hadn't seen before.

"Want to head in?" Shu whispered to Shoto.

He only got a head nod from him when use of words seemed to ruin the moment before them. Staying in step with Shu when the fading image slowly left his view. Processing what he saw when the words slowly came together within his mind.

"You parents seem…" Shoto didn't know how to sum up what he saw, "…to be getting along."

"All Otou-san," Shu explained, "He wanted to get to know the women my Ofukuro had become. So the two of them had been taking things slower than us."

Being informed that Shoto's parents were a couple, they were still figuring things out. He could see in the small touches that came from Toshinori throughout. Furnished accessories to Knick- knacks here and there, added a splash of color. What an amusing part was the Household's Kamidana he saw for a second. The whole thing was set up from what he could see, an odd memorial.

"Something Ofukuro put up to honor the fallen heros," Shu whispered, "Her way of remembering them."

Shu allowed Shoto to enter the area and give his respects for a second before moving on. Room Asling set up for them had tea and snacks set out. Kotatsu everything sat on was a basic wooden one with sitting pillows.

"Is she trying to set a mood?" Shoto asked as he took the images in.

"Grandkids," Shu exclaimed with a sigh, "Her pressuring me may be other reasons I drink."

Shoto ended up taking up his free hand after putting down what he brought as a gift for Shu's parents. Which was accepted like the first time he started taking Shoto's hand. Gripped was kept light with not that much strength thrown in when grip was set.

"I kinda understand," Shoto shifted his head to the side, "Being asked about when I am going to settle down and have kids by reporters. Always takes place when I am on patrol or saving someone."

"Harsh," Shu couldn't imagine ALWAYS being asked, "Let's get around to that when we're more established?"

Shoto nodded his head in agreement with the subject being completely dismissed until later. To only end up picking up the bag he put aside to put what he brought to use.

"Tea cakes made by Sugarman," He informed Shoto, "Along with high class pastries from Creati."

"As gifts?" Shu asked as he looked at the bag.

"Their way of showing acceptance over my partner," Shoto showed off a tag on the handle, "It's quite a selection."

Shoto got kissed on the side of his mouth by Shu within range to set up the bag's contents as he got tea ready.
