Chapter 2: Snowman (雪だるま; Yukidaruma)
Frames open to us the snow-capped mountains. Suddenly, someone ran through the mountains in the form of a blue line. Sonic ran through the snow, simultaneously examining the area and looking for something.
"Where's Tails?" he asked himself. "It's been a day and I still can't find him. Why didn't I ask him for a communicator? We were so easy to find each other."
As Sonic thought, he looked up and saw something sparkling in the distance.
"What is this?" asked the blue hedgehog and ran towards the sparkling one to see what it was.
Soon he arrived on a snow-covered slope. He put his hand over his eyes to make it easier to see. He saw a large block, resembling a huge triangular tower, which stood in the middle of the city. Carefully examining the block, he saw that cars, buildings, road signs and others were frozen in the block. There was no person to be seen in this block.
"Something is off here," said the blue hedgehog. "I need to investigate this!"
Sonic ran towards the block, leaving behind a blue line and a pile of snow.
A little while later…
Sonic has arrived. Everything was eerily quiet. The blue hedgehog began to walk next to the block, examining it.
"Scary." said the blue hedgehog. "It seems that the one who did this is clearly an evil ice artist in his heart."
Whack
Bang
Sonic turned as his ears picked up some strange sounds. He looked around to see where the sounds were coming from.
Blam
"It's behind that block!" thought the blue hedgehog and ran towards those sounds.
When he arrived, he saw a blue robot that was partially frozen and another robot. This other robot was created in the image and likeness of a bison. It was large and had horns and a muzzle resembling that of a buffalo, and its legs somewhat resembled the hooves of the said animal. His body is covered with tubes and he has a tasset around his waist that looks like a loincloth. Its mouth has two vents on either side that can release cold air.
Realizing that the blue one needed help, the hedgehog curled up into a ball and went to another robot. He hit him in the head before landing and getting to his feet in front of him and behind the blue robot. The blue robot noticed the blue hedgehog.
"Isn't that the guy Jack was talking about earlier?" thought the blue robot.
"Hello," Sonic said to the reploid buffalo with a smirk and obvious audacity in his tone of voice, "as I see, you are showing your villainous creativity here?"
"And who are you?" the robot buffalo asked in a creepy and slow voice.
"I'm Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog." answered the hedgehog. "I am the fastest creature in existence."
"The fastest creature alive?" said the robotic buffalo before it charged towards them with its horns. – "Now you two become the world's first reploid and hedgehog pressed flowers!"
"Just try!" said the hedgehog with his trademark cheeky smile.
The buffalo robot moved closer and closer to them. Sonic prepared to hit him. But suddenly someone stood between the blue hedgehog and the bison. It was a boy. He had black hair, dark eyes and white skin. He wore winter clothes and some kind of jokes on his ears, which played the role of heaters. The blue hedgehog was surprised. The buffalo robot stopped and looked at the boy.
"Ugh…" - the bison robot finally said. "Gah..."
ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!
"What happening with him?" the blue hedgehog thought in surprise, watching how this robot held his head with his hands, as if he suffered from pain in his head.
The robot bison began to leave. The blue robot got out of its icy confinement.
"You're not going anywhere!" he said, trying to chase the robot.
But the boy stopped him, he took his hand and held him tightly.
"Wh-what the?" thought the blue robot. "Who is this child?"
"There is clearly something wrong with this guy." Sonic said thoughtfully, pressing his fist to his chin. "He seemed to have a headache... As if someone controlled him."
Sonic looked at the boy and the blue robot and noticed that they were looking at him.
"Oh, yes, exactly..." - said the blue hedgehog, he made a drop in the form of an anime.
Soon…
Sonic, along with the robot and the boy, were walking somewhere. The blue hedgehog looked at the places with curiosity.
"This is a very beautiful place," the hedgehog commented, then he turned to the robot. "Isn't that right, X?"
"It's sad to see that one of the few ski resorts with natural snow at the foot of the mountain like that" said X (that was the name of this blue robot).
"Is it because of what you call it, Blizzard Buffalo?" asked the blue hedgehog.
X nodded his head in response and turned to the boy.
"Well, will you tell us where we're going?"
The boy didn't answer.
"OK." X said and turned to go somewhere. "I go back. I'm need to finish this "cattle" business."
Sonic quickly got in X's way. The blue hedgehog let out a "Tsk" and looked at him with disapproving eyes, as if to say that he was not going anywhere. The blue robot turned to the boy. He saw the boy looking at him with disapproval and anger.
"Okay, okay, I'll follow." X said manageably following the boy, while Sonic looked pleased.
When they arrived at the indicated place, they saw a smiling snowman.
"Is this our destination?" X asked, then he smiled and added. "Even though the snow is so cold, his face does look warm. It's definitely because of that broken branch on it."
"The snowman looks cool." Sonic said. "I feel warm myself because of that smile."
"Toshihiko," X turned to the boy. "Why did you want to show us this snowman?"
"I…" the boy began. "I made this snowman with Buffalo..."
"Buffalo?" asked the blue hedgehog and the robot.
"Are you talking about that robot we encountered earlier?" Sonic asked.
"Toshihiko, what do you mean by that?" X asked the boy.
Memories of Toshihiko...
Children played by throwing snowballs at each other. Only Toshihiko was away from everyone and made a snowman. When he finished, he stepped away from the snowman and looked at it. The snowman had a neutral expression on his face. This reminded the boy that he made this snowman alone. Angered, he raised his fist to hit the snowman. Suddenly, someone grabbed him by the hood of his winter jacket. When he turned his head, he saw Blizzard Buffalo. He held out his hand to the snowman. At first the boy was wary. But the buffalo reploid's hand reached out to the branch that was on the snowman and broke it in half. Toshihiko looked at the snowman. He saw the snowman's expression change to a happier one because of the broken branch that formed a smile. The boy was pleasantly surprised by this. Buffalo released the boy to the ground.
"A little work and it will look much better." Blizzard Buffalo Toshihiko said. "It's not so much fun if you play with a sullen face. When you play, you have to play with your heart" (Buffalo blinked his eyes cheerfully).
The boy almost stamped the Buffalo in anger.
"Whoa!" Buffalo said defensively before he looked at the boy with sad eyes. "You do not like?"
Toshihiko looked at the reploid-bison, then he smiled and ran.
"Hey, wait!" Buffalo said playfully, chasing the boy.
Return to reality...
X and Sonic looked at the boy when he finished speaking. The blue hedgehog walked up to Toshihiko and put his hand on his shoulder.
"Toshihiko," he said to the boy, "I believe that your friend will come back and play with you again. X and I will try not to hurt him too much."
"Sonic! We generally..." - the blue robot began, but the hedgehog shut him up.
"Shut up, smart guy." said the hedgehog to X. "You're ruining the moment so much."
"Hey!" the blue robot said offendedly.
"Thanks, Sonic." the boy smiled at the hedgehog.
"Good," said the blue hedgehog, getting to his feet. "I'm on my way. Things to do."
"Wait a minute!" X said. "I need to talk to you about..."
Before the blue robot could speak, Sonic ran at the speed of sound in a northeasterly direction.
"Damn…" X said, having a drop in anime style.
With Sonic...
Sonic ran across the snowy plains of the mountain. Suddenly he heard something. The hedgehog stopped and looked around. He heard the strange sound again. He realized that it was coming from below. He looked down and saw two suspicious Reploids. They were holding a third. Sonic listened and heard their dialogue.
"Po-89, what's the matter with you?" the first reploid asked the third.
"I... When I was in my transport in that cave, which is located below, near the foot of the mountain, I noticed that something was shining in the snow. I wanted to see what was there, but then I found that my technique began to get out of hand. It is as if this "sparkling" negatively affects not only my transport, but also me." answered the third.
"Strange, but interesting," commented the second. "Can we go there?"
"Are you crazy?!" the first said loudly. "If Po-89 said that this "sparkling" thing was affecting us negatively, then we should logically stay away from him."
"Can we pass it on to Dr. Doppler?" suggested a third. "He will be interested in studying this "sparkling"."
"Yeah, we'll pass on that we've already put worm inside of Blizzard Buffalo's horns while he wasn't looking," the first reploid said. "He will be happy about it."
"So-so," suddenly all three heard the voice of a blue hedgehog behind them. "So that's why Buffalo behaves the way he does."
"Who are you?" the first reploid asked, turning to the hedgehog. "Don't interfere with our business!"
"In your business?" Sonic asked, preparing his fists and grinning widely. "You guys don't know what I can do yet."
A few minutes later...
Three reploids were tied with rope. Sonic shook his hands and walked over to them.
"By the way, thank you for telling me where this "sparkling" is!" the blue hedgehog told them.
"Do you need this "sparkling" for some reason?" one of reploids asked Sonic.
"You can say that," said the blue hedgehog with a smile. "See you!"
He quickly ran down the snowy path, leaving the robots with their eyes bulging in surprise and shock.
Sometime later, he reached the cave, in which, according to his idea, there could be a Chaos Emerald. The blue hedgehog entered the cave. Inside the cave was covered with ice, some snow and crystals. Sonic kept walking until he noticed that something was glowing brightly in a pile of snow. He approached and removed the snow a little, the hedgehog found ... White Chaos Emerald!
"Got it!" said the hedgehog and held out his hand to the emerald.
But as soon as his hand touched the white emerald, suddenly the light began to grow and become even brighter. Sonic closed his eyes against the bright light. When he opened them, he found himself in a clearing full of flowers. The hedgehog looked at the landscape.
"Am I in this field again?" Sonic asked, but noticing that all the trees here with organic bark, he realized that this is not the clearing on which he found himself when he came to this world. "This is not this field. Where I am?"
Sonic looked up and noticed something glowing in the sky.
"What is this…" Sonic asked before he suddenly realized what it was and his eyes widened in horror. "Wait, that's..."
Before he could finish speaking, there was a powerful explosion. Sonic closed his eyes against the bright flash. When he opened his eyes, the blue hedgehog was back in the cave.
"What was it?" he asked, puzzled. "Did I really see the past… My world before it was hit by the atomic bomb on Nuclear Day, which brought my planet into what I know it to be today?"
Sonic looked at the Chaos Emerald thoughtfully. There were many questions in his head. Soon he ran out of the cave with the emerald in his hand.
Soon the hedgehog came to the three reploids.
"How are you? Did you get bored here?" Sonic asked them with a smirk as he knelt in front of them.
"What do you want?" the first reploid asked angrily.
"I want to ask you a few things," Sonic said. "First, where is your camp? Second, tell me more about this Doctor Doppler."
"Our camp is at the foot of the mountain." replied the second reploid.
"IDIOT!" shouted the first and third at the second.
"Thanks for the answer!" Sonic smiled. "I'll carry you there now so that you don't freeze."
The three reploids looked at him.
"Seriously?" all three thought.
Sometime later...
Night has come. Sonic was in a tent that looked like a research tent, with three Reploids. Those three were already asleep. It was warm inside. Also in this tent were a refrigerator, a computer on the table, a radio, a heater, armchairs, a coffee machine and equipment in boxes. The blue hedgehog himself drank hot chocolate and sat on an armchair.
"How can I let X know that Blizzard Buffalo had a "warm" because of what he is behaving like that?" he thought. "They didn't tell me more about Doppler. Silent as partisans. And how will Toshihiko react to the fact that with his friend? But he must know the truth, what made his friend run amok. But sometimes the truth can be bitter... Oh, should I take a nap? I'll start everything tomorrow."
Sonic yawned loudly. He finished his hot chocolate before he fell asleep in the chair.
In the other place…
All was quiet in the forest. Suddenly one tree fell. It landed in front of Blizzard Buffalo, which is the reason why this tree fell. He held his head in his hand as if he had a headache.
"Ah… My horns…" the buffalo reploid said. "Something confuses me. Why, when I saw this boy, my horns immediately hurt ... But why ...?"
He went on and noticed footprints. These footprints led to some place.
"What…" Buffalo muttered again, looking around eerily from behind the tree. "What is there…"
He saw the snowman he once made with Toshihiko. He walked over to the snowman and looked at him.
"Ngh…" he said with gradual anger in his tone and in his eyes. "Is that…Is that what confuses me…?"
He waved, clasping his hands and...
Bang
The next morning...
Sonic ran through the forest looking for X and Toshihiko.
"Maybe in the place where the snowman stood?" thought the hedgehog and went to this place.
He ran along the route that, according to his memories, he overcame from X and Toshihiko. Soon he arrived at the place where the snowman stood. But he did not see anyone, but in front of him only the remains of a snowman. He knelt down and extended his hand to the branch that had once been a snowman's smile. Then he got up and ran on.
Soon…
The blue hedgehog ran along one of the streets of the frozen city, which stood at the foot of the mountain (the one that X spoke about). Suddenly he heard screams. He ran to the place where the screams were heard and saw people who were running away in panic and horror. Looking around, he realized that they had fled from some building resembling a hospital. Sonic ran past the crowd at the speed of sound. One little girl noticed a blue line and said loudly:
"Mom, look, this is fast hedgehog!"
Hearing the girl talking about him, Sonic turned, blinked an eye at her and made a V-sign before he turned and entered the building. He ran through the corridors and eventually arrived at some hall. There, he saw X, who was half-frozen, and Blizzard Buffalo, who was approaching the blue robot. Sonic quickly moved towards the buffalo reploid, stood in front of him and the blue robot, and kicked the "muzzle" with his foot.
"Sonic?!" X said, recognizing the blue hedgehog.
"Yes it's me." Sonic said, turning to him and smiling, but when he saw the face of the blue robot, his expression changed to restless and anxious. "X, what's wrong with your face?! You're bleeding!"
"I'm used to it." X said.
"Then it's clear," Sonic said. "Listen, X. I found out what happened to him. They put a "worm" in his horns, which made him like this."
"Worm?" X asked as he freed himself from his ice trap.
"X, be careful!" the hedgehog suddenly shouted, pushing the blue robot away.
Blizzard Buffalo hit Sonic with his horns, causing the hedgehog to fly and crash into the wall. X, who was watching all this, said:
"Buffalo, please wake up..."
But the buffalo reploid fired sharp ice shards at him.
"Buffalo, stop!" X said loudly, dodging the fragments. "If you keep doing this, you will end up hurting Toshihiko!"
But Buffalo didn't seem to hear him. He headed for X.
"You must remember," the blue robot said as he gradually stood up. "Remember how you had your heart when you were making a snowman. Remember how your heart came into contact with Toshihiko's heart!"
Meanwhile, Sonic got to his feet. As he got to his feet, he saw X holding Buffalo.
"Buffalo… Go back to your old self…" X began, holding a buffalo reploid. "Are we just machines? It's not true, is it? We are reploids! We are willpower machines! We think with our hearts! Isn't that right?!"
X took Buffalo and threw him over his shoulder.
"BUFFALO!"
The reploid bison's head hit the floor hard, causing its horns to break. Soon, the body of the Maverick itself completely landed on the floor.
"Wow," Sonic said as he approached X. "And you dealt with him yourself. I didn't even need to be here."
Thanks anyway for letting me know why Buffalo became a Maverick. X told him with a smile.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Sonic and X looked at the buffalo reploid that was the source of that scream. He grabbed his head in his hands. Sonic began to prepare in case of an attack, but instead...
"What have I done?!" shouted Buffalo. "I destroyed my beloved city and hurt Toshihiko's heart!"
Sonic raised an eyebrow questioningly when he heard the ex-maverick's words. Buffalo got to his feet and looked at X with a pleading look in his eyes.
"X, please judge me with your buster!" said the buffalo reploid. "I can't fix what I did! I can only atone for my death!"
After hesitating, X pointed his buster at Buffalo. Seeing this, the blue hedgehog turned to him in a whisper:
"Don't, X. Do not do that."
But the blue robot was silent with closed eyes.
"Come on, X! Shoot me!" said Buffalo with a sad and high tone.
Soon X opened his eyes and fired. His scope left a large hole in the side of the building. But…
"Why… Why did you miss it?!" Buffalo asked.
As it turns out, X didn't shoot the buffalo reploid. Sonic was glad X didn't kill Buffalo.
"Why didn't you shoot me?!" Blizzard Buffalo asked angrily.
"You thought I'd do it?!" X asked in response.
"I really wanted to say that." Sonic said, looking towards the blue robot before looking at the reploid buffalo. "Look, death is not the only solution. You have a chance that you can fix what you did and heal your friend's heart!
"It's too sad." X said as he approached the hole and passed a buffalo reploid. "What's the use of beating you here? Why are we given our will? It's not just another program that tells us what to do. We don't need to be cruel. We need to coexist with people."
As X approached the hole and looked out the window, he noticed something.
"What's there?" Sonic asked and also approached the hole.
What they saw made X turn to Buffalo with a smile.
"Buffalo, look out!"
"There's something for you!"
They both approached the buffalo reploid and started pushing it towards the hole.
"Do you want to show me the city that I destroyed?" Buffalo asked.
"No!" answered the blue robot and hedgehog.
Buffalo looked out. What he saw made him wonder. Outside there were many smiling snowmen. It feels like they are meeting you. Blizzard Buffalo also noticed Toshihiko making one snowman, indicating that he was the one who made all those snowmen.
"Where's the boy was been all this time!" said the blue hedgehog with a smile. He made snowmen for you!
"Toshihiko…" muttered the reploid-buffalo.
Soon all three went outside. The buffalo approached the boy with a guilty and depressed air.
"Toshihiko…" the reploid buffalo began. "I'm sorry that I hurt you…I…I…You don't have to forgive me…"
"Buffalo," Toshihiko said, turning to the buffalo reploid and hugging him, to Buffalo's surprise. "I forgive you. I knew that you would come back to yourself!"
"Toshihiko…" Buffalo said, then he hugged the boy.
This beautiful picture made Sonic cry a little.
"Still, this kid believed in him no matter what." he said, wiping away his tears.
"We are reploids…" X said. "We are machines with hearts that can understand people.
"That's for sure..." agreed blue hedgehog. "By the way, X, can I leave for a minute?"
"You can". said the blue robot with a smile.
Sonic ran at the speed of sound somewhere and returned with tied up reploids.
"Who are these guys?" X asked.
"These are the ones who put the "worm" in Blizzard Buffalo." Sonic replied. "Yes, sayonara! See you!"
"Hey, wait, I…" X began, but the blue hedgehog was already running.
X stood in complete silence before he thought with a smile, looking after the hedgehog.
"Still, I found out that he is a good guy with a kind, but with a "speedy" character."
Sonic ran through the trees holding a white Chaos Emerald in his hand. There was a self-confident and brave smile on his face.
Chapter 2.5: Extra Story: Tails and Pirates (Bangai-hen: Teirusu to pairētsu)
Tails calmly flew the plane in the sky. His new aircraft was something like a military jet, but unlike the military aircraft we see, it was futuristic. The plane was white, green and purple. The emblem "∑" flaunted on the sides of the aircraft. Inside, a little fox was driving, and next to him was a Miles Electric.
"What a lovely plane. I think Sonic will like the plane." Tails said with a smile before he could even ask a question. "Hmm, I wonder where Sonic might be? I haven't seen him since we were thrown into this world. According to Miles Electric it should be in…"
BLAM
"AH! What was it?!" shouted the shocked little fox and looked down.
Tails spotted a ship. It somewhat resembled a mixture of a pirate and a warship, which indicated a sculpture of a mermaid on the bow of the ship, weapons and other military equipment. He noticed that the ship's artillery was aimed at the plane. The little fox turned to the left wing and saw that there was a spot on the left wing. Soon the naval artillery began firing at him.
Tails began to dodge the attacks and tried to miss one of the shots. But still the shot hit the right wing. The plane began to fall right into the ship.
"Come on…come on…" Tails pleaded.
Soon the little fox managed to regain control of the plane and flew far away from the ship in a different direction.
Inside the ship...
In the large cabin of the ship were white robots, a "strange person" and a woman. The white robots wore black sunglasses, black underpants, and rounded shoulders. They also had a pirate headband. The "strange man" was wearing pants, a jacket, a pirate headband, and a black eyecup. He had a mustache and eyebrows. Remarkably, he had metallic skin and shoulders that looked like pillows with stars on it.
The woman had long blonde hair and purple eyes. She was wearing green and black armor on her chest, shoulders, arms, legs, and a "private part" of her body. Also on the sides of the arms, torso and legs was a black line, which is part of the armor. The rest of the body except for the open upper chest was covered with small black nets. The fair-haired woman wore what looked like a neck ornament, a white metal band on her forehead, and "ears" in the form of "gills". Her appearance caught up with a certain menacing and at the same time beauty in her appearance.
A fair-haired woman watched the plane fly away from them.
"I'm impressed…" she commented. "Despite the fact that we shot at two wings of the plane, this pilot did it ... (She smiles self-confidently) But this does not mean that we will not catch him! Someday we will get to it."
With Tails...
The little fox stood on the left wing of the plane and looked at the spot. The aircraft landed on the surface of the water.
"Although there are spots on the wing, thank God that the plane and the wings are in order…" Tails said. "You have to work here. It's good that I took some important tools from this abandoned base."
Tails climbed back into the plane and opened his brown bag. When he was getting the right tool, suddenly a notification came to his Miles Electric. The little fox came up and looked at his tablet. There was an image of the Chaos Emerald and the place where it is located.
"Let's just get this over with quickly." said Tails, took the tool, went to the wing of the plane and set to work.
Meanwhile in the world of Sonic and Tails...
"Sonic! Tails! I came!" Sara's voice was heard on the island where the house of the blue hedgehog and the little fox was located.
Sara was something of a cat girl. She is a tall, slender, peach-skinned young woman with teal eyes and a brown cat tail. Her long hair is a matching brown, with salmon dyed ends. She also has a beauty mark on her right cheek next to her mouth. Her outfit consists of a yellow crop top with a matching miniskirt, both with dark pink ruffle trim. She also wears a dark pink cropped jacket, round green earrings, a black choker and belt with a silver buckle, pink boots with white tops folded into cuffs and soles, and red gloves with heart cutouts. Her hat, which is dark pink in the front and yellow in the back, is shaped like cat ears and is adorned with a large green gem studded with gold. She carried a bag on her shoulder. When she arrived at the plane, she knocked on it and waited. 2 minutes passed and no one answered. Sara, without waiting, she entered the abandoned plane and began to look for Sonic and Tails. But they were nowhere to be found.
"Strange," said the cat girl. "Usually they are here. Maybe they flew somewhere..."
"Hi, Sara!" suddenly Sara heard Fly, who was flying towards her.
"Hi, Fly!" greeted the cat girl. "How are you doing? By the way, do you know where Sonic and Tails are? I look for them everywhere!"
"They flew off to explore the tower in the Land of Darkness that was built by Dr. Eggman." Fly replied. "But they did not return for a long time, so I flew there."
"Where are they?" Sara asked.
"When I flew over, I discovered that not only were they not there, but also the towers!" Fly replied.
"WHAT?!" Sara screamed in shock and disbelief.
I even tried contacting them, but it didn't work. said the robot bird in a worried voice.
"If Eggman did something to my Sonic…" the cat girl growled angrily, her face turned red like a tomato, before she screamed at the whole island. "I TEAR HIM TO THE SMALL PIECES!"
We return to the world of Megamen X of the manga, to Tails ...
Tails was on the wing of the plane, which was next to a small rock. On a small rock lay a red Chaos emerald. The little fox flew on two tails and landed on the top of the rock. He took the emerald into his hands. But suddenly Tails noticed that the Chaos Emerald began to glow even brighter.
"Why does he glow so brightly?" Tails asked.
Soon he noticed that he began to absorb the light. Not knowing what to happen, the little fox got scared and closed his eyes from the bright light. When he opened it, he saw a lifeless wasteland. Tails noticed a bunch of dead trees, animals, flowers, and so on. The sky was covered with gray clouds, which added to the atmosphere. Tails looked around with anxiety, concern and fear. He did not understand where he was and why he was here. Suddenly he heard soft footsteps. The little fox, shying away, turned sharply and saw a strange-looking creature.
The creature's appearance somewhat resembled that of a human, but it was quite tall for an ordinary human. He had a long body, legs and arms, along which there were three fingers. His body was composed of some kind of energy, except for his hands and feet, as they were dark blue, which made his body light blue. It also had a protrusion on the top of its head, two hanging protrusions, a tail, and light green eyes.
The creature walked past the fox, and as if he did not notice. Tails watched this suspicious creature and followed it. Soon the creature crouched down and placed its hand on the ground. A flower grew from the ground. It dawned on the little fox who this creature was.
"It's…" Tails began in his mind. "Atomic Man!"
As soon as the little fox spoke the creature's name in his mind, a bright color pierced around him. Tails closed his eyes again, and when he opened them again, he was on a small rock. He looked at the emerald.
"What was it?" asked the little fox.
He looked at the emerald with a puzzled face. Suddenly, Tails heard loud noises behind him, which made him shied away and turned around. The little fox saw a familiar ship that was next to another ship. The other ship looked completely military. These ships seemed to be attacking each other. Deciding to find out what was going on there, Tails returned to his plane, put the red Chaos Emerald in his bag, took the Miles Electric, locked the plane and locked it (it turns out that this plane had a lock mode like cars) and flew to the combat actions with its two tails. When he arrived, he saw another ship in more detail. This ship, like a friend, had ship artillery and weapons, but on it the crew members of the ship were different types of robots: humanoid and robots of various forms. The robots of various forms reminded Tails of Dr. Eggman's robots, but they weren't animal-like. When the little fox looked at the familiar ship, he saw that there were human-like robots led by a fair-haired woman.
"It could be their leader…" Tails thought. "But I need to find out more..."
The little fox landed on top of the familiar ship and looked at the other. Tails noticed a stylized green "D" against a mechanical four-pointed star, followed by a red four-pointed star. While the little fox was looking at the mark before he flew to another ship and landed. Suddenly he saw how one of the robots of another ship grabbed a white robot and placing it in front of him, extended a dagger to his throat.
"Hey Captain Marty," the robot called to the blonde woman. "If you remove your crew from our ship and don't interfere with Dr. Doppler's plans, you can say goodbye to one of your crew!"
"The members of this ship (the other) are the bad guys!" Tails realized in his mind. "We need to help him!"
Tails flew out of his hiding place and slammed his tails against his head. The robot freed the white robot from the impact.
"Hey!" said that robot angrily, turning to the little fox. "Who are you?! How dare you interfere in Dr. Doppler's way."
"I don't know who Dr. Doppler is," Tails said. "But I know that you guys, think of nothing good!"
"Oh, you little…" - said a member of the ship and pointed a dagger at the little fox.
But Tails, curled up into a ball, passed through it. The robot fell dead with a hole in its chest. The little fox, after he made the body, ran to fight the other ship's robots. Tails hit them with his tails and broke them with a spin dash. Soon all the members of the ship were lying on the deck.
"Wuh!" said the little fox. "It's done!"
Tails glanced at one robot that had a broken head with an open wound. Suddenly he noticed something on the open wound of the head. He walked over to the body, sat down on his knees, and extended his hand to his head. Suddenly, a mechanical creature resembling a centipede jumped at him. It landed on the fox's hand. This creature looked REALLY HORRIBLE for a fox.
"AAAAAAAA!" Tails screamed in horror, trying to shake off the mechanical centipede.
But this centipede held Tails' hand tighter before it softened the little fox's hand. Tails, confused, looked at this mechanical creature. The centipede was holding a sign that said: "Sorry, I made a mistake." The little fox had a drop in the form of an anime. Soon, the mechanical creature was rescued from Tails's hand and late somewhere. Tails breathed a sigh of relief.
"Hey little one!" suddenly, the little fox heard a female voice and turned to see a fair-haired woman standing in front of him and looking at him suspiciously.
"Yes?" the little fox asked with a little anxiety in his voice.
There was silence until the blonde woman relented and answered him with a smile.
"Thank you for helping us deal with the Mavericks."
"Um…Thanks…" Tails said with an unsure voice. "You…"
"Marty." The blonde woman said. "Call me Marty. I am the leader of my pirate crew. And who are you?"
"My name is Miles Prower," replied the little fox. "But you can call me Tails."
"Okay, Tails," Marty said. "Listen, where are you from? My sensors tell me you're organic."
"It's a long story," replied the little fox. "By the way, why did those from this ship attack yours? Well, if that ship (the one points to the ship he knows) is yours."
"Yes, this ship is mine." The blonde woman said. "What about them… But I don't know. They just attacked us for no reason, that's all."
"I wouldn't say that," Tails said. "I think they had reasons for this."
"I'm sorry to graft you, ma'am," one of the white robots suddenly said as he approached them. "During the attack, an enemy shell hit our engine room."
"Are you a communist?" the second white robot asked the first.
"No, I'm just reporting damage, Bob," the first white robot said to the second. "The fact that I say "ours" does not mean that I am a socialist."
"I can fix it!" Tails said loudly.
Everyone looked at the little fox in surprise. The fox noticed this.
"But first I have to grab the tools from my plane so I can fix it." said Tails with the speaker then.
This evening…
Tails stood on the deck and looked off into the distance, holding a red Chaos Emerald in his hand. He finished fixing the engine room. Marty let him spend the night on her ship. Before he went to bed, the little fox told the blonde woman and her crew the story of how he got into the world. In addition, the little fox also revealed that he is looking for his friend Sonic and his world. Marty, in turn, shared information about her world with him, including information about Maverick Hunters and Mavericks.
"How this sea reminds me of what we have on Freedom," said Tails. "Oh, how I miss our world, friends and the island..."
He looked at the Chaos Emerald, then he thought thoughtfully:
"But I have three questions: First, what did I see in these visions? Are these records of the past or the memories of the Atomic Man himself? Secondly, how does this thing relate to the fact that Reploids became Mavericks. Maybe it's some kind of parasitic chip? And thirdly, maybe Eggman's tower and the Chaos Emeralds are in this world?"
Soon his eyes became determined and the little fox smiled broadly.
"I believe I can find Sonic and the Chaos Emeralds to go home." the little fox continued to think. "Maybe I can find answers to all three of these questions? Who knows, but I'm sure of one thing: Sonic can handle all the difficulties and is now looking for me. Sonic, I will find you no matter what."
After these motivating thoughts, Tails went inside the ship to go to his room and go to bed.
The next day…
The little fox was sitting at the wing of his plane, which was next to Marty's ship. He put down the tools he used yesterday. When he finished loading the tools onto the plane, he sat behind the wheel in the cockpit.
"Tails!" the fox friend again heard the voices of Marty and her team.
They were on the deck of the ship and waved goodbye to the little fox. Tails himself waved at them in turn before he closed the cockpit and turned on the plane. The plane's engines fired and the transport began to move. He headed in the other direction from the ship, and when the plane sailed far enough away, the transport flew high into the sky. Tails took one last look at the ship, then he turned his head and flew high into the sky.
