After disabling one of the Access Ark's legs by defeating Clanky Woods, the group explained the situation about Sectonia as they made their way to the next leg's location. When they arrived, they found it was a suburban setting with buildings constructed to resemble various drink cartons. It boasts urban features such as streets, crosswalks, traffic lights, bridges, and Waddle Dees driving automobiles. There was even a casino and laboratory.

"No way, they actually managed to construct a whole city out here!" Sachiko said.

"Gotta admit, this almost puts my Ether Gear to shame." Weisz said.

"Almost?" ZS asked. "Don't tell me you can make a city like this cause, no joke, I'd pay good money to see that."

"Well maybe when I train my Ether Gear enough, it could be possible." Weisz said.

"Alert: Enemy Base detected further ahead obstructing path to objective." 042 said as the group saw a large mechanical base with a series of five large, blue cogs attached to its metallic side. Each of these five cogs are composed of blue and metallic gears and pieces, and each has a turret. The centermost turret is the largest, the two turrets above and below the innermost turret are the smallest and the two outermost turrets are middle-sized.

Haltmann Works Defense System - C.O.G.S.

"That's another one of the legs locking the Access Ark in place. There are 5 of them, and we took one of them out on Patched Plains." Hope said.

"Then this thing is guarding the way to the one who is protecting the next leg." Klonoa said.

"Proposal: Destroy enemy base's defenses in order to proceed." 153 said.

The C.O.G.S, short for Cost Of Goods Sold, went into attack mode as soon as the group got close, firing its turrets down on them.

"We have to damage it one segment at a time!" Sakura said, remembering from previous experience.

2B pulled out a device as she called on her Flight Unit before boarding onto it with 042 as she took to the skies towards the C.O.G.S.

"I reviewed the team's last experience with this machine. the best way to destroy this machine is from the air." 2B said as the Flight Unit shifted into its bipedal mech form as 2B went on the attack with the Flight Unit's beam sword and turrets, destroying the cogs one by one as the path ahead was now open. "The machine's defenses are down, we can proceed." she said through the comm channel.

"That robot girl you journey with…" Robonyan noticed. "There is something about her that is interesting."

"Oh, you mean 2B? Yeah, we've known her for a while now ever since Darksquad introduced us to her, 9S, and A2 on Guilst, but it's hard to figure her out." Hope said. "There's just something about her that's really mysterious."

"Even experts in robotics like Mari and myself can't figure out what's so special about her. Kokonoe's even tried taking a crack at it but…" Entrapta said, looking to the daughter of Nine.

"Came up empty just like them." Kokonoe said. "Also, she's an android."

"In the future, words like android and reploid were dealt away with. All living machines are just called robots." Robonyan said.

"Ah… Makes sense now." Fulgore said. "That…sounds kind of sad, actually."

"You'll be thanking us for stopping a fan war involving those words in five years time. You are welcome." Robonyan said.

"Oh man, I can feel the sparks flying for said fan war already." Miu said.

"Yeah, some people like to be specific about those terms." Sachiko said.

"Yes but it saves lots of time since all those terms got too confusing." Robonyan said.

"Makes sense." Miu, Sachiko, Fulgore, Keebo and the Royal Knights all said collectively.

"Though, I can't help but feel slightly offended by it." Keebo said.

"Aw, what's the matter Kee-boy? You should be happy to avoid discrimination among your kind." Kokichi said.

"Well, to be fair, nothing's set in stone yet. We could still change that." Alkal pointed out.

"Hey look, there's the boss place, we should go take care of that, we'll continue this conversation never!" Emo pointed ahead.

The group continued to the boss's location where an AI system was in place. It is made up of four octahedrons surrounded by eight large and four small floating gray tablets, which spin around it. All four octahedrons have a bi-colored appearance; one is white and yellow, one is red and purple, one is teal and cyan, and the last is orange and amber;

Resolution Road Overseer System - Holo Defense API

"Ah…the old holo system we had to fight." Hope said.

"Holo system?" Himiko asked.

"It projects holograms that are able to attack, but can be attacked as well." Mari explained. "I think Ribbon mentioned there was a planet in Popstar's solar system that had something similar."

The floating tablets then formed a ring around the octahedrons as it prepared to attack. The yellow and white one shining a beam as it formed a familiar one eyed cloud.

(Cue- Machines- ICONOCLASTS)

"And there's the ever iconic Kracko! We missed him in the New World, but he's here…well, it's a hologram, but he's here in spirit!" Eddy said.

"Yeah, which means he should go down the same way as the real thing." David said.

"Get him!" Klonoa said.

Holo-Kracko initiated the same attacks the real one would while also spawning Waddle-Doos.

"Kirby, you know what to do with those, right?" Sectonia asked.

"Poyo!" Kirby said as he inhaled one of them and became Beam Kirby.

"Let's do this together. Thunder Blade!" Sectonia said as a sword of lightning dropped down on Holo-Kracko.

Kirby jumped into the air and fired down a volley of beam bolts from his beam rod onto Holo-Kracko before it soon dissipated into pixels, the octahedron that formed it being destroyed in the process as well. The red and purple was soon next as each half formed strange sphere-like beings with wings and evil faces.

"Doomers…we'll need to…" Sectonia said as she dodged a laser blast. "Oh what…oh."

Joining in on the holograms were three different robotic Yo-kai. A robotic old man, a robotic dog, and a red and blue robotic Robonyan.

"There's more of them." Miu said.

"A robot version of Hungramps and Manjimutt. The new robo cat, I don't recognize." Entrapta said.

"That is Showbonyan, a Merican version of myself." Robonyan said. "He's what I would be if I received the upgrade in America."

"Either way, we'll have to deal with them the same way as the other three." Jexi said.

"Hold on…I think I know a way to deal with them quickly." Kaminari said before firing off a few disks before discharging his quirk, electrifying the three robotic Yo-kai, taking them down quickly.

"Nice one! Now we just gotta deal with the hologram." Entrapta said.

The Holo-Doomers attacked by gliding around or shooting energy balls.

"Gonna be hard to hit both these guys with them flying all over the place!" Ragna said.

"Let the marksman handle this!" Shionne said.

"You got this, Shionne!" Glimmer said as she grouped up with Shionne and teleported into the air with her.

"Where are you going?!" Shionne asked as she used Wing Clip and fired a barrage of projectiles in a wide area at the Holo-Doomers until they both dissipated, causing the crystal that summoned them to be destroyed in the process.

"Whew… Thanks, Shionne." Sectonia said.

"Keep your head up. It's not over yet." David said.

The blue and teal crystal was up next as it formed a large holo-version of an ice dragon.

"An Ice Dragon. Guess that means it's my turn!" Flamberge said as she drew her sword and charged in head first, countering the Holo-Ice Dragon's freezing breath with her flames laying into it with her version of the Million Stab as it soon dissipated with the crystal being destroyed, leaving only the orange and amber crystal remaining as multiple pillars popped up in the background while the crystal formed a large multi-piece snake that roared.

"Snake? Snake? Snake!" Stoj said.

"Close, but no cigar! It's Coily Rattler!" Pit said. "He was an annoying one from when we were fighting against Sectonia and her forces."

"No offense, of course." David said.

"None taken, I think Taranza was having a bit too much fun conjuring up this thing." Sectonia said.

"At any rate, I think I remember how we beat this thing. Focus all of your attacks on its head." David said.

The Holo-Coily Rattler didn't make this easy, of course, slithering across the platform and the pillars on the far wall, leaving electric traps in its wake. It also fired upon the group with blue lightning spheres.

"Archer, hit it!" Mark said, as the Servant pulled back a bow as Holo-Coily Rattler slithered back onto the platform.

Archer let his projectile fly, the sword piercing the snake's head as it glitched out. "Four out of four. No more projections to hide behind."

The Holo Defense API then began flying haphazardly across the area, emitting constant sparks.

"Guess we broke it." Zoro said. "Well…no reason to keep it going." he said before slashing right through the thing, causing it to soon explode into pieces.

(end song)

"And then there were three." Simon said, referring to the Access Ark's legs.

"Yeah, hope the robots we got are waterproof." Kokichi said.

"Leviathan for sure is waterproof. That doesn't need checking." Miu said.

"Yeah, I think they're all good. Can't say the same for the Devil Fruit users, though." Sachiko said.

"It's not like we're going underwater. Just into that machine leg thing." Hope said.

"Right…course." Sachiko said.

"Either way, we have our next local." Jexi said.
