One hour later
One hour later Naruto and his friends finshed the lunch and went back to the academy where everyone is now sitting according to the teams assigned to them. Naruto and Yakumo sat together sharing their experiences so far about each other's abilities and had general conversation.
During the conversation naruto felt some disturbance to his senses and when he looked around he saw Uchiha Sasuke glaring at him which he ignored much to uchiha's anger and continued talking to Yakumo.
Five minute later the classroom door opened and two people entered the room. One is the woman who is a fair-skinned woman of slender build. She has long black untamed hair reaching her upper back, and very unique eyes that are red in colour, with an additional ring in them. She wears make-up consisting of red lipstick and purple eye shadow. Her regular outfit consists of a red mesh armour blouse with only the right sleeve visible. Overall, this is very broad material which resembles bandages with a pattern on it similar to those of rose thorns. Her hands and upper thighs are also wrapped in bandages and she wears the Konoha forehead protector and regular shinobi sandals. She is Yuhi Kurenai.
Yakumo looked at her and turned her face towards the window, naruto could feel anger rising in her but didn't pry much and noted this particular detail to ask her later. When kurenai saw this she sighed.
Next her was a tall man, with brown eyes, olive skin, short black spiky hair, and a beard. His clothing consisted of the standard Konoha ninja uniform with the sleeves rolled up halfway, flak jacket, regular shinobi sandals and forehead protector. He also wore a sash that had the kanji for "Fire" marked on it around his waist, a pair of black bangles, and bandages wrapped around the arms of his sleeves.
He is Sarutobhi Asuma, son of third hokage and a jonin.
"Team 8 with me" said kurenai and hinata along with other members of team 8 walked out with her.
"Team 10 with me" said asume and seconds later walked out of the class while shikamaru following along with Ino and Chouji.
Minutes later in a swirl of leaves a man appeared in the classroom, naruto looked at him and observed that he was a tall and well-built man in adulthood with fair skin. He had waist-length, spiky white hair that he usually ties back into a pony tail, with two shoulder-length bangs framing his face. There were red lines under his eyes which extended further down his face. He also wore green short shirt kimono and matching pants, under which he wore mesh armour that is visible at his wrists and ankles. He also wore hand guards, a black belt, traditional Japanese wooden sandals, and a red haori with two yellow circles on each side. He often carried a large scroll on his back, and had a tattoo on his left palm, and he wore a horned forehead protector with the kanji for "oil", which denoted his affiliation with Mount Myōboku. He is Jiraiya of the sannin.
"Team 11 come with me" said jiraiya.
Naruto and Yakumo looked at each other and walked upto jiraiya who placed a hand on their shoulder and disappeared in a standard leaf sunshin leaving a shocked team 7 except sai alone.
With Team 11
Jiraiya appeared with his two students in front of training ground zero. Jiraiya stood looking at his two new students who were swaying left to right due to effect of sunshin.
"What was that?" asked naruto
"That's sunshin" replied jiraiya
"Please warn us next time sensei" said yakumo
"Alright!" said jiraiya and looked at naruto "Now can you key is in so that we can began?" asked jiraiya
"Ok when I place me hand on the barrier bit your thumb and smear some blood at same time that will grant you the access to the training ground" said naruto and placed his hand on the key and jiraiya and yakumo did as said and the barrier around the training ground glowed blue and then turned green signifying that jiraiya and yakumo are successfully keyed it.
Trio walked into the training ground to see twenty clones of naruto practicing his taijutsu and kenjutsu katas while ten were practicing tree walking while same number of clones throwing weapon at them and same followed with the clones doing water walking. While 5 clones practicing calligraphy and 5 were learning fuinjutsu.
"What is this naruto-san?" asked yakumo
"Umm this jutsu is called shadow clone jutsu. It is an A rank kinjutsu for anyone who's not an Uzumaki and since I have more chakra than anyone in the village it works like what normal clone does for others" said naruto
"But why are they training?" asked a confused yakumo
This time it was jiraiya who answered "One of the reason this Jutsu is forbidden because the clones transfers memories to original and since young naruto can deal with mental stress better than anyone he is allowed to use it" said jiraiya
"So what now sensei?" asked naruto as he stood in front of jiraiya with yakumo
"we will start with introductions, both of you may or may not know each other but for me to know you at a certain level introductions are required" said jiraiya
"Hai sensei" said both in unison.
"Ok I'll go first my name is jiraiya. I am also known as toad sage. my likes are beautiful women, my books and my research. My dislikes my snakey teammate, Traitors and council. My goal is to achieve or guide my student to bring peace to the world. Now lady you go first" said jiraiya and yakumo nodded.
"My name is Kurama Yakumo. Last member of my clan along with my uncle and aunt. I like my cousin Seika, my new friends. I hate Yuhi Kurenai, rapists and perverts. My hobbies are drawing. My goal is to become genjutsu mistress and a S class kunoichi" said yakumo
"Impressive goal, don't worry I'll help you with everything I know" said jiraiya
"Thank you sensei" said yakumo
"Now Naruto" said jiraiya
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto. My likes ramen, my precious people. My dislikes most of the villagers, council, rapists, traitors, perverts. My hobbies training, cooking, gardening. My goal is to become strongest kage world has every seen and have a family." said naruto
'Strongest kage? that's different from what his mother and father said' thought kyuubi as he listened to introduction given so far.
"you mean hokage?" asked jiraiya
"No I mean I want to be strongest among kages from other villages not just hokages" said naruto
"Ohhh" was all yakumo said.
"Ok to tell you bluntly you're not a genin yet, you have to pass my test to be a genin. You have three hours and in those three hours try everything you know and you have to land a hit on me" said jiraiya and took a clock out of her puch and placed it on the log and stood maintaining some distance between him and his students.
Yakumo took basic academy stance and Naruto took the base stance of hummingbird style.
'This will be interesting' thought kyuubi as he watched with interest.
Both yakumo and naruto rushed at jiraiya trying to hit him but jiraiya dodged them easily and kicked Naruto in gut making him skid over to few feets away and her followed to do the same with yakumo who quickly went through hand signs and called out "Genjutsu : False Perception".
Soon area surrounding jiraiya starting to change and influence his perception as he is now seeing various images of yakumo running at him to attack.
Seeing jiraya in genjutsu yakumo rushed to attack him and Naruto followed behind her.
'Hm Genin knows C rank genjutsu but considering her clan' thought jiraiya and immediately dispelled the genjutsu just in time to block yakumo's kick which jiraya redirected it to hit coming naruto which resulted in both going to ground.
"Damn I almost had him" said yakumo in frustration
"We need to do better" said Naruto
"First let's make some distance to came up with a plan and my clones will keep him busy" said Naruto and did a cross sign "Shadow Clone Jutsu" said Naruto and 50 clones appeared behind him.
"Ok boys in group of five keep sensei busy" said Naruto and his clones in group of five attached jiraiya carefully so that they can buy time for original and yakumo
"So what are we going to do now?" asked yakumo
"Well I hate to say this but he's as strong as hokage jiji" said Naruto
"I know, so what now it is clear that we are not strong enough to leave a hit on him" asked yakumo
"What will you do now brat?" asked kyuubi
'Shut it and let me think unless you have any idea' said Naruto
"This is your and your teammates test, deal with it" replied kyuubi
'Tou-san says everyone has weakness so he has one too but what?' thought naruto and looked at yakumo "Ok what is the strongest genjutsu you know?" asked naruto
"It's a clan genjutsu from my kekkai genkai and a C rank one and it will last for 3 minutes but I think sensei will dispell it easily" replied yakumo
"Ok it will give me enough time to set plan, when you'll put Sensei in genjutsu I'll use clones to throw kunai's at him and you'll substitute with one of the kunai and try to land a hit on him" said naruto as he relayed his plan to yakumo in time to see jiraiya has dealt with his clones.
Both Yakumo and Naruto looked at each other and nodded "As soon as we start getting closer put him in genjutsu" said Naruto and yakumo nodded and both rushed at jiraiya while naruto covered yakumo so Jiraiya couldn't see her.
'What are they thinking?' thought jiraiya and took his stance to face his two students.
"Secret Clan Art Genjutsu - Phantom Pain" jiraiya heard in yakumo's voice and immediately started feel pain in different area of his body and quickly disperse his chakra to displel the genjutsu.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu" said naruto and 6 clones popped up surrounding jiraiya.
Jiraiya broke himself out of genjutsu only to find himself surrounded by shadow clones.
"Throw" yelled naruto and his clones threw kunai's at jiraiya who dodged and original naruto threw his kunai. As kunai reached closer jiraiya tried dodging it but suddenly yakumo appeared in front of him and tried to punch him which jiraiya blocked it easily and threw her towards naruto who easily caught yakumo up in her arms.
"You alright yakumo?" asked naruto in concern
"H-Hai" said yakumo while a tint of pink appeared on her cheeks as naruto put her down.
"Good work that was a good startegy but you underestimated me" said jiraiya
"The test was landing one hit" said naruto
"So we thought we can work together to get a hit even if it won't do any damage to you" said yakumo
"Correct now the test was about of you can return together with each other or not and also to gauge your current skills" said jiraiya and his two students looked wide eyed at him so he continued "Both of you are good as a genin. Yakumo moving forward we'll be doing physical training, Taijutsu, training to increase your chakra reserves and add some ninutsu to your arsenal" said jiraya
"Hai sensei" said yakumo
"Naruto continue doing what I told you in letter once you complete basics we'll move on to advanced stuff" said jiraiya
"Hai sensei" said Naruto
"Both of you train here while I go and update hokage on that you passed the test" said jiraiya and turned to yakumo "What are the exercises you know for chakra control?" asked jiraiya
"Leaf Balancing and Tree Walking" replied Yakumo
"Ok naruto here will help you in mastering the tree walking and will teach you water walking if you're done with tree walking that is" said jiraiya and disappeared in swirl of leaves.
"Dear God I can't wait to learn it" said naruto
"What is that jutsu?" asked yakumo
"It's sunshin, now to master tree walking yakumo-san, two of my clones will throw wooden kunai's at you and you have to dodge them while climbing" said naruto and yakumo gave him a look that said 'are you freaking kidding me'
"Are you trying to kill me?" asked yakumo
"No these are the same kunai's I used and they don't hurt" said naruto and showed yakumo the kunai who started inspecting it.
"Good strategy brat, from now on you will be playing shogi with me daily at night" said kyuubi
'Hai now if that's all I will be going to continue training' said naruto
"Why not trying to climb that waterfall it requires you to implement concept of both tree and water walking" suggested kyuubi
'if it helps in better chakra control why not' said naruto but he was brought out of his internal conversation by yakumo.
"ok I agree but be careful while throwing I hate hospitals" said yakumo with a glare which made naruto chuckle nervously
"Alright let's start" said naruto and created two clones to follow yakumo to the trees to help her in mastering tree walking and he himself went on to do the waterfall walking.
