It was a dark and stormy night and Shota was already exhausted as he was. He was on his way home after stopping a villain from attacking a store. That was until he heard a baby crying. He thought that he was hearing the sound of crying, he brushed it off until he was passing an alleyway. It was kind of dark considering how late it was but he was able to see what was there.
When his eyes fully focused, he was able to see that there were two small silhouettes of creatures that he had yet to recognize on the ground. When he entered the alleyway to get a better look, one of the silhouettes was in the shape of a bird. The other one, Shota, wasn't too sure on what it could be. The two of them were standing close to the basket and were talking.
"What are we going to do this time Pichu? We can't just move her somewhere again. We're going to end up getting caught, the possibility of not seeing her again if we're not careful" the bird told the other.
"What else are we supposed to do? We can't stay here or she's going to get sick again. Last time we almost didn't have a problem" the smaller silhouette pointed out.
"I'm aware of that but who's going to take her, better yet all of us? We don't know if anyone is just taking her and putting her in the system. We would never see her after that," Murkrow told him. Both of them trying their best to calm the baby. To no avail, the crying continued.
The thought of leaving the three behind didn't sit right with him. The fact that the baby was out here in the first place and hadn't been noticed bothered him even more. So Shota approached the trio, they noticed him approaching almost immediately.
This made them get very defensive when they were immediately in front of the basket. "What do you want from us?" Pichu growled at him. There were small sparks of electricity that were coming off of the red spots on his cheeks at this point.
"I'm not here to hurt any of you. I'm just here to take you guys somewhere that's safer than this alleyway" Shota pointed out. He had crouched down to their level; he had also stopped Pichu from his quirk. "How do we know that we can trust you? You don't exactly look the part of being able to take care of a child" Pichu declared.
"You certainly have a lot of talk for someone that doesn't have a place to stay," Shota said bluntly. "We don't need your help, we're fine at that point," Pichu said. "Maybe you can but can you still manage her and take care of yourself?" Shota asked. Pichu looked back at the basket and back at Shota in frustration.
"Pichu, you're not helping in the slightest. It's been weeks since they got rid of us. We can't keep doing this" Murkrow whispered to him. Pichu glanced at the baby before approaching Shota. "Are you planning on abandoning her in the far future?" Pichu asked. "I'm completely sure that I wouldn't do something like that to her," Shota said. Pichu looked at Murkrow, who gave him a slight nod in return.
"Fine but that doesn't mean I trust you completely yet" Pichu said. When Shota picked up the baby and took her out of the alleyway, he noticed that her crying had slowly come to a stop. "Looks like she likes you already," Murkrow said when he flew over to him. When the light from the moon shined over them, Shota was able to get a better look at her. She had an ivory skin tone with short dark blue hair and dark blue eyes.
"We never got your name, what is it?" Murkrow asked. Shots headed in the direction of his home. From where they were, it would be a 10 minutes walk. "It's Shota Aizawa," he said. The walk was pretty much a quiet one with the exception of the cooing.
"Are we allowed in?" Pichu asked. This was brought up when Aizawa had come up to his house. The amount of panic he felt in his tiny body was big. Were they going to be separated now?
"Yeah, come on," Shota said. He opens the door and goes in, the duo follow him in. Murkrow had landed on the couch while Pichu got off of his back and sat on the floor. Shota placed the baby on the couch before going into the kitchen. "So who are you two supposed to be to her?" He asked them. "I guess you can say guardians? We were dropped off with her when her parents immediately didn't want her anymore. We've been keeping an eye on her ever since" Murkrow answered.
Aizawa didn't respond but instead started to think of what he was going to do with the baby. If he kept her; it would change his life. If he dropped her off at an orphanage, who knows what kind of people that'll take her.
'Why should I care? She's not even mine' He thought. After giving her a bath and putting her in one of his shirts, he decided he was going to keep her in the end. Taking her to the adoption place in the morning. "Was she ever given a name?"
"No but you can give her one if you want," Murkrow said. He started exploring the new building. He's been in a lot of buildings but never in them for long periods of time.
"When was the last time any of you ate?" Shota asked them. He placed the girl down a few prior. "Us? Yesterday. For her, it was like 40 minutes," Pichu said. There wasn't any food that he thought would be good for any of them. He had to remember to get things for the house if this was going to be an everyday thing for him.
"I need you like a heart needs a beat"
