"Dad, you have to understand that I'm able to handle whatever situation you're worried about," I told him. Finally gaining eye contact with him, he seemed to want to talk. "I never said that you weren't able to do so. I just don't like how he treats you, especially today" he admits. I got up and took a seat next to him.
"He's been like that from all the time that we've known each other. All the times that he's done that to me, I was able to handle it. Today, you were just there to see him explode,"
He didn't get a response back, just rolled over. I looked over, "What's the matter now?" I asked him. "Weren't you going to show me that new ability on your flute?" He asked. "Yeah, I'll be right back," I told him before leaving. I headed back to my room.
Later on, I was drawing and planning out my hero costume just in case I got accepted. It wasn't long till a problem arose. "Is there a problem?"
I didn't get a response, "Oshawott, I know you're under my bed. What do you want?" I asked him. "Oh..umm..yeah, I just need a small favor," he said. He emerged from my bed and came into view. "It depends on what this 'favor' is. Tell me and I'll consider it"
"Well, your little 'angel' keeps following me around, crying. Can you keep him?" he asked. "Now why exactly is he crying?"
"Oh, about that…we just"
Then I started hearing soft pecking at my window. I got up and opened the window. Murkrow flew in and landed on my dresser. "You're here earlier than normal," I pointed out. He usually comes back around dawn. "Yeah, about that, I found something unusual that I had to come back and tell you about"
"What do you mean?" I asked as I closed my window, it felt like it was getting cold for some reason. "It's easier to show you what's going on," he said. "You're very lucky," I left a note saying that I would be back. I grabbed my jacket and put my shoes on. "Now show me what you were talking about"
Murkrow flew off and brought me over to an alley. "Why did you-"
I spotted a faint glow in the distance and a bit of whimpering. This is what he brought over here for. One of them seemed to notice us since they came flying over. The moonlight shined on her to reveal what she looked like. She was tiny and was wearing a light pink strapless dress with a rainbow belt over her left shoulder and hips. She was also wearing a hot pink hair clip and almost knee high boots. Her clothes were dirty now that I got a better look. "Are you here to help my friend?" she asked.
"Is your friend badly injured?" I asked. "I'm not sure what's wrong with her, but she's been laying there for a while now?" she said. I looked around and saw that no one was passing by, so I went into the alley. There was another one of them just laying on the ground. She has pale purple hair styled in curls and a Victorian-style dress in purple, white, and blue with a blue bow in her hair. She also wore pink make-up that makes sharp points above her eyes, a fair skin tone and violet eyes. Her tiny wings were purple with a purple glow. Upon closer inspection, there were small cuts on her arms. Her dress was slightly ripped in some places and was also dirty.
"Do you know how she got like this?" I asked. I gently picked her up and left the alley. "We were attacked, but I'm not really sure by whom. I've been watching over her since then,"
I started heading back home with them, "So what are you two? And do you guys have names?"
"We're pixies. I'm Cherie, her name is Tune" Cherie said. It didn't take long for all of us to get home. Murkrow flew in once again and went to the kitchen with Cherie. Nothing seemed to have changed while I was gone so I just went to the bathroom.
"So are there more of you guys?" I asked. I didn't get a response from her. After helping Tune with her injuries; I changed her clothes, wrapping her in a towel for the time being. "Cherie, where did you go?"
"I'm right here," she said while flying over to me. "I need to talk to you about something," I told her. I had put their clothes in the wash with some other things.
Tune had woken up about an hour later. "Since she's awake now, we have to get going. Thanks for the help Musa," Cherie said. I closed the window after they flew over. "Hey Musa, look at this,"
I looked over and saw that there was a book on my bed. "They must have left this for me. I'll have to look through it later," I said. I put it with the rest of my books.
"Dad, have you seen my flute anywhere?" I asked. I had left in my room, on my dresser. I had woken up to find that it was gone. "Shouldn't you have it?"
"Dad, I did have it. Did one of your demons take it?" I asked him. I moved past him and looked around the house. I heard meowing from the kitchen. "Dad! Your cat had my flute!"
I had to yank it out of her mouth. There was drool and small scratches on it all over it. I wiped off my flute as she hissed at me. He came in shortly after, "Sorry about her"
"Can you just keep your cats away from my stuff please" I requested. I went back to my room. "Did you find it?" Pichu asked. "Yeah, I'm going to get it fixed, wanna tag along?" I asked him. I went through my closet to find something. "Sure, but it looks like you have to re-wrap your arms again," Pichu pointed out.
Now that he mentioned it, the bandages did feel loose. No one besides those knew how my arms really looked. Under these bandages were really deep cuts and bruises, they never wanted to go away even if the recovery girl tried to heal me. They looked really weird on my arms and legs. I never really wrapped my whole legs since there weren't a lot of cuts and bruises. The bandages only went up to my thighs.
Since I never liked how many bruises that I would get, I would just keep my arms wrapped up so that no one would ask questions about how I got them. My arms tend to get these easily, so I had to be careful not to be reckless. "Do you know where the scissors are?" I asked him. "The last time that I saw them, they were in the bathroom. I'm not sure if the scissors are still there," Pichu said.
"Alright, I'll be back then we can leave" I told him. I grabbed some ointment and a pair of arm sleeves before going to the bathroom. I didn't find the scissors when I went in there. "Dad, have you seen scissors anywhere? They aren't in the bathroom" I said when I went back to his room again. "I have them," he asked. He handed me the pair that he had with him.
I went back to the bathroom and cut the bandages off. The way my arms looked right now, there were dark bruises scattered on both of them. I never felt comfortable with showing them off to the world; so I had them covered up when I left the house. For some reason, they looked slightly wrinkled at this point, but I wasn't what caused that.
I was brought out of my little world when I felt a tiny paw on my leg. I didn't notice Pichu had come into the bathroom. "What's the matter?" I asked him.
"I've been calling your name for a while now and you weren't answering," Pichu admitted. He then jumped on the toilet, then the sink counter. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine, don't worry about it," I told him. "If you were fine you wouldn't be giving off this negative energy still. What's going on now?" Pichu asked again. "It's fine, don't worry about it," I said, applying my ointment. Then putting on the arm sleeves, "Get out, I have to change,"
"Fine," He said before jumping down. He ran off somewhere. I locked the door and changed into something else. I opened the door and went looking for Pichu, it had been a while till I found him back in my room on my bed.
"Let's go," I said. Pichu climbed up arm and held onto my shoulder. "Did you ever finish your hero costume?" he asked. "It's almost done, but I can work on that later" I said.
A couple of days had gone by with no letter yet. There was always a chance where I didn't get accepted into the school. I always had other schools nearby. I heard heavy footsteps coming towards my room, followed by a knock. "Come in,"
The door opened and dad came in, I spotted an envelope in his possession. "Here, you must know what's in here, right?" he asked. A few of my spirits had appeared around my room at this time. "Yeah, thanks," I said. I took the envelope from him. He left me to my own devices. "Can one of you push the door closed for me?"
"I got it," Oshawott said. The door closed slowly before it clicked. "Hey! I was going to do that!"
"Well, you were just too slow, dummy," Pichu told him. Great, now they're fighting. "Hey! Either leave or stop fighting!"
They stopped rolling around my room. Torchic had jumped into my lap..or at least tried jumping. I just place him on my lap. "So, are you going to open it?" Murkrow asked, flying over. "Yeah, I am," I said. "Then what's the matter?" Pichu asked after he hopped on the bed.
"Just worried that I might not get accepted into U.A" I admitted. Biyomon had placed his arm on my leg. "I bet you that you'll get accepted, open the envelope already" He said. I smiled and ripped it open; the disk fell out of it and onto my bed. A screen came out of it and All Might appear as ridiculous as ever.
"You've been accepted. Welcome the Hero Academia," All Might said before the screen disappeared. I picked up the disk and put it on the nightstand. "Aren't you excited about being accepted?" Pichu piped up.
I had laid back in bed, Torchic laid next to me. Pichu just sat on my chest. "I am, I just don't want to make a big thing out of it," I told him.
