Today was the day that I was officially going to U.A. Considering that I didn't get any sleep last night, I was already awake. Pichu woke up and immediately started jumping on my bed. "So are we able to come with you to school today?" Pichu asked. "Why don't you go ask my dad before he leaves," I suggested. He hopped off my bed and ran out of my room. I got my clothes and took a shower. It was a short one, but it always took forever to do my hair. Anyway, I took my meds and put the bottles in my duffle bag. "Musa, you have some visitors," I heard Murkrow say from my room.
I dropped my bag in the living room and went to investigate. I glanced out the window and saw the pixies. I opened the window to which they flew in. "What are you girls doing here?"
"Oh, aren't you going to school today?" Cherie asked. Both of them landed on my dresser. "Yes; in fact, I have to leave soon," I told them. I left the room and went into the kitchen. Packing other things in my bag; I felt ready for the day.
The duo had followed me around while I did so. Pichu had come running towards me and slammed into my leg. He fell back, "So did you get an answer?"
"Nezu said that they were able to attend as long as they don't get in the way of things," Dad said. He had finally emerged from his room. "Who are these two?"
"Oh, you can see them…Well their pixies," I told him. I picked Pichu up and took him to the bathroom. The pixies stayed where they were. "Do I really have to take them?" he whined. "If you don't want your stomach to act up throughout the day, I suggest taking them," I told him. I gave him tiny pills and a glass of water.
"Can I at least get a straw?" he asked. "I'll be waiting whenever you're finished here," I told him. I left him behind and went back into my room. I got my jacket on and looked in the mirror. "You know, just because your my daughter doesn't mean I'm going easy on you,"
He was leaning against my door frame. "I never said that you should be easy on me. You never were, so why start now?" I asked him. He came over and wrapped his arm around me. It had been a while since I saw a smile on his face.
"I know you have a hard time with this, but at least try to make friends at school" He said. "Yeah yeah, I'll see you at school whenever you show up,"
I moved away and grabbed that book book I got the other day before went off to the other room. "Are you guys ready to go now?" I asked them. "Yeah, we're going to be late," Pichu got on my shoulder. I grabbed my bag and we headed to school. "Can you not start trouble at school on the very first day, please?" It was mainly aimed towards Pichu.
"I don't start problems here, I just finish them," Pichu said. "It doesn't matter, just don't cause any problems because the blame will end up falling on me," I told him. It didn't take long for me to get to school, so I went in and changed my shoes. There were a couple of students that were there, but it wasn't really a problem. The problem was that they assumed that I couldn't hear them. They were either talking about the way that I looked or talking about the other two.
I felt an arm around my neck. I immediately pushed them away only to see that it was just Josuke. "Oh, it's just you," I said. He had put his arm back where it was seconds before. "Did you need something?" Pichu asked from inside of my duffle bag. "Can't walk a friend to class?"
"You know, you're weird. You can't be friends with someone you barely know" Pichu pointed out. "Why don't you mind your business?"
I zipped my bag closed, "That wasn't very nice of you to do Musa" Tune said. "Tune, it's one to shut him up quickly and I don't want to waste more energy on him," I admitted.
"Hey, you have a new necklace," Josuke pointed out. "Oh no, it was given to me a while ago. I just had it hidden when we met. You can say that it helps with my quirk in a way," I explained. Then I spotted Midoriya in front of what I assumed was also my class. "I'll talk to you later, I have to go. Thanks for walking me though,"
I made my way over to Midoriya, "Are you going to go in?" I asked him. "Yeah, just about. So you're in this class too?" Midoriya asked. "Of course I am," I said as I opened the door.
Wonderful, Bakugo was here and was already arguing with someone. The person he was arguing with spotted us and came over. "You must be the other students of our class. I'm Tenya Iida,"
I didn't give him a response as I heard someone approaching. She had short brown hair and a chubby face. I would say that her bangs looked weird, but I guess that's fine. I moved past Iida since she seemed like she wanted to talk to Midoriya. I felt eyes on me when I took the last seat in the room. I looked up to see Bakugo eyes on me, "Is there a problem that you can't keep your eyes off me?"
He seemed ready to respond back but was interrupted, "Go somewhere else if you want to plan on making friends. Welcome to U.A's hero course," Dad said as he finished his juice box. The three that were still by the door seemed shocked by his presence. Looks like he actually made it to school on time. What a surprise to see.
"It took eight seconds for you all to shut up, that's not going to work. Time is limited here. Rational students would understand that already," he continued on as he got out of his sleeping bag. It felt like someone was staring and it was coming from the back of the room. The trio made their way to their seats as our teacher went to the front of the room. The pixies had gone into my bag and Pichu crawled out.
"I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you" dad said. "Now before we go any further, we're going to introduce ourselves to the class,"
We all introduced ourselves, to which I ended up being the last one. "Lastly, I have two smaller assistants that are going to be joining us. They're going to be with us until further notice,"
"Who are they?" Oujiro asked. Pichu had crawled up his arm and jumped on the podium. "Hi, how are ya?" He asked. Murkrow went over to them by flying. I felt my twitch as he landed on the podium."What have I told you about flying in a room?" I asked him. I was getting a couple of stares from the others, but I didn't care.
"Not to fly in them," Murkrow answered. "Are you his own or something?" Kaminari asked. "I don't remember it being any of your business," I told her. He didn't say anything back as he turned his attention back to the front class, as did the others.
"Moving on to other news, I'm Pichu while my bird friend here is Murkrow," Pichu told the class. I noticed that Iida had immediately raised his hand while standing up. "Is there already a problem, engine boy?" Murkrow questioned. From what I could tell, he seemed a little irritated from the comment. "Do you two have quirks?" Iida asked back.
There were small sparks that came from Pichu's body, "Wouldn't exactly be giving good advice to a bunch of kids if we didn't have quirks of our own. Mine is called voltage," Pichu said.
"Hey Melody, what is your bird able to do?" Kirishima asked while he turned to me. "Why don't you ask the bird instead of asking her?"
There was a clone of Murkrow on his desk. It was slightly smaller than the original, but it was only noticeable if you looked close enough. "I can make clones of myself, though I'm only limited to a couple of them at a time" Murkrow said.
"Hey, are we going outside now? I'm starting to feel trapped here" Pichu said. He jumped down and came over to me. "After they changed into these uniforms," dad answered. He proceeded to pull out these blue and white gym uniforms from his sleeping bag.
"You're going to be wearing these uniforms when we're out on the field unless said otherwise,"
The others got up and took the uniforms before leaving the room. I one the other hand, was the last one that was still in the room. I let the pixies out, they landed on my desk. "You girls don't have to be in my bag, it must be suffocating it there"
"We don't want to take up space or be too distracting for others," Tune said. "You should be fine, just stay on the sidelines," dad told them. I took the uniform before leaving the classroom. I quickly went over to the girl's changing room. I changed into the uniform, which didn't take long. "Hey Melody, what are those?"
"What are you talking about? I'll be on the field," I left the room and went outside. The boys were already out there waiting. I could feel someone staring, I looked around and saw the suspect. It was a boy with purple balls for hair. I noticed that he was drooling and started to approach me.
I had to hold back a laugh when he was suddenly hit a black energy sphere and zapped. "I suggest you stop before things get worse for you," Pichu growled at him. The other girls had come out with the pixies as Mineta backed almost immediately and went somewhere else.
Now, since everyone was here, my dad had told them that we had a quirk assessment test. "You aren't going to make it as a hero. Stop pretending like you are something when you're nothing,"
"You won't be anything thing ever when you're living through someone else,"
"Why would I need to when I can take over and act like you?"
"I would never let you do something like that,"
"Musa!"
I glanced around and saw that everyone was staring at me. "What?" I asked. "It's your turn now,"
I took the ball from him and walked to the circle. "I'm assuming you want me to use my sound quirk, am I right?" I asked. "Yes, we have other things to move on too,"
I smiled before tossing the ball above me. Then I blew out a couple of medium sized rings, thanks to my quirk. The ball went a good distance from the score that I got, it went two meters further than Bakugo's.
'Looks like I'm improving with that' I thought. I could tell that my dad was happy with my score while Bakugo seemed angry with it. I summoned a different ball and gave it to Midoriya. "Good luck with your quirk,"
I stood near the front of the group as he went to the circle. He stood in the circle and seemed to be speculating on what to do. He threw the ball, but it didn't really go far. "I erased your quirk. The judges for the exam were not rational enough. Someone like you should never be able to enroll in this school,"
"You did what t-" Midoriya slowly turned to my dad. I noticed that Izuku's face came to realize who my dad was. Dad wrapped his scarf around Midoriya and pulled him close. "Hey Musa, are you okay?" Cherie asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry about it," I told her. Izuku was soon able to throw again. He began to throw it, but used his quirk in one finger. Let's just say that he threw it out of the ballpark. "Mr Aizawa, you see I'm still standing," Midoriya nonchalantly said.
Most of the class started talking all at once. On the other hand, Bakugo seemed to be sent over the edge by this. I summoned my flute and pulled out my flute. Small explosions started to erupt as he was about to run towards Midoriya. I played it and had notes wrap around Bakugo to restrain him. Bakugo looked like he was struggling to break free.
"I wouldn't recommend doing that if I were you, it only makes it more difficult to move. You of all people should know this by now," I smiled towards him. I started laughing because he kept struggling when he looked at me. The others looked at me weirdly.
"Stand down, it would be wise to avoid making Musa use her quirk when it isn't necessary," dad admitted as I came to a stop. I waited till Izuku came over to make the music notes break into small pieces. After that, we finished up the rest of the tests that we had to take.
"Alright, time to give you your results. I ranked you all from best to worst. You should have a good idea of your standing already. I'll pull up the whole list, it's not worth going over each individual score,"
He pulled up the chart that he made for us to see. I came in 8th place while Izuku came in last place. "Oh, I was lying, no one was going home. That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all on the tests" dad said while giving us that weird smile of his.
Everyone else started talking while I glanced up only to have Murkrow land on my shoulder. "Where's Pichu?" I asked him. "He went with your dad," Murkrow said. I sighed before going into the changing room. When I was changing, Mina came over to me. "Hey, I gotta ask a question," Mina asked.
Time to lose brain cells with this. "What is it? And hurry with it. I have people waiting for me,"
"How were you able to do that out there?" she asked while sitting next to me. "Do what? You have to be more specific with your questions," I told her.
"Those rings that you made, how were you to make those?" Jirou asked while coming over. "It's a part of my quirk," I said. I was starting to get concerned with them. Did they not know how quirks worked?
"Wait, what's your quirk?" Mina asked again. "Summoning and Siren, why do you ask?" I asked them. The other girls started crowding around me.
"If you'll excuse me, I've been here long enough," I grabbed my bag and left the changing room. Now, it was the end of the day and I was waiting for my dad to come out.
"Can we go home now?" Pichu asked. "Actually, yeah, dad's not going to leave till late," I told him. I started making my way away from the school until I heard fast footsteps approaching me. I turned and saw that it was Bakugo.
"Go with Murkrow alright. I'll catch up with you guys later," I suggested. Murkrow came back, "We'll see you at home," Murkrow said. He left with Pichu on his back.
I waited for Bakugo to catch up. "Why do you already have a problem with me? It's only the first day of class," I smiled at him.
