He has been consumed with his current position as Minister of Economic Development but is finally ready to open his heart again. He meets Professor Arawyn MacKenna at the University of Alberta, Edmonton. This is their story.

Picks up after episode 10 of season 11 and may include some action from episode 11. The slow burn is coming to an end. Outside forces, along with friends and family, seem to keep them apart, but in the end they learn they've always been in this thing together.

This is an AU story & my take on what should have happened with Elizabeth & Jack. Many of the original events of the series will be included, as well as some that I create. They all avert catastrophe and they are forced to test how they feel now that we venture into season 9 and beyond. It's not going to be easy. I, along with the program's aim, try to arrive at a positive outcome for all of us.
