Melinoe was brought to a dorm room that housed merely a bed, a desk, and a simple chair. Inside that room was a balcony door that led outside along with a strange metal box attached to the ceiling that was dispensing cool air, a creation that surprised Melinoe. Melinoe sat down on the bed and Gojo pulled up the chair in the room to sit down on, Melinoe's wounds from what you could barely call a fight with Gojo had healed but her body was still bruised so at least she won't be bleeding all over this room. After they got comfortable Gojo began to talk with the goddess "Alright Mel, let's go over somethings. Do you know what cursed energy is?"
"Well I'm familiar with the infliction of curses, the Headmistress taught me that much… but I'm assuming you are referring to something else so no I don't know."
"Well cursed energy is something almost everybody has, it stems from negative emotions such as anger or grief and various other negative emotions."
Melinoe nodded and asked Gojo "So that was what I felt back in that hallway, it felt as if negativity itself was radiating from your very being. Was that cursed energy Gojo?"
"Yep." Gojo said, putting emphasis on the p with a pop. "And with this cursed energy it tends to leak from the human body and that creates something known as cursed spirits, you have ghost back where you come from?" Gojo asked, pointing his fingers at her.
"Of course, well we call them shades usually and they are everywhere in the underworld but since the Titan came into power the souls of the dead cannot be judged and are left to wander for the rest of their days. My roommate Dora is one of these shades or ghosts as you may call it, I think you would have liked her."
"So the dead can't be judged… the more you talk the more questions I have Mel, I like you. Back on track cursed spirits are like ghosts, invisible to the normal human eye but to those with above average cursed energy or higher they become visible. They cause various problems and are responsible for many cases of unexplained deaths and disappearances happen due to these cursed spirits. Approximately 10,000 annually in Japan." Gojo explained to Melinoe
Melinoe tilted her head and asked "Ja…pan?"
"It's where you're at, the country you're in right now. Probably should have mentioned that."
"Oh thank you for elaborating, please continue."
"So cursed spirits feed off this cursed energy and come in all shapes and sizes, so that's where us Jujutsu Sorcerers come in. Our job is to exorcize these curses to defend humanity from curses, we work on grade systems from 1 through 4 with the higher you go the more dangerous a curse or sorcerer is."
"So you sorcerers are like guardians of humanity, mortals must sing praises of Jujutsu sorcerers then?" The goddess asked.
"Eh~ not quite, see curses and most things about this job are kept secret from the masses."
"Well I suppose that makes sense… if curses were widely known to the mortals they would be fearful of them every day which causes more curses to appear correct?"
"Exactly! You catch on quick."
"This profession seems… terrible to say the least."
"Terrible is putting it lightly, everyday sorcerers have to put their life on the line and in this line of work people don't last long. Hell dying to a curse spirit usually is the easy way out, you almost constantly see blood and death in this job, and people who don't submit to being a Sorcerer become known as curse users and become hunted down by us, this job drives you crazy and compassion has little to no place here when it comes to sorcerers, and let's not even get into the higher ups of jujutsu society." Gojo explained to Melinoe as she knew where the Sorcerer would be leading with this.
"It sounds awful truly, and with bringing this up I can only guess you're trying to have me enlisted as a Jujutsu sorcerer?"
"You got it Mel!"
"Well I'm not given much of a choice in this matter… either become a sorcerer or be hunted and most likely perish… I don't wish to perish here, my family still needs me so I accept your invitation but I have one request, Satoru Gojo." Melinoe said as she sat up straight and looked at Gojo right where his eyes would be if he weren't wearing that blindfold.
"Oh? Ask away Mel?"
"Help me slay Chronos and get vengeance for my family, I want to learn about this cursed energy. You nearly killed me not too long ago with one attack, if this is what cursed energy can do then please allow me to learn from you, I will comply with whatever your demands are I give you my word." Melinoe pleaded with Gojo as he grew a smug smirk on his face.
"A goddess wants to become my student, I can't say no to an opportunity like that, I don't want any angry gods to smite me if I say no so you have yourself a deal, Melinoe!" Gojo said, letting out a hand to shake as Melinoe took his hand and shook it, sealing the deal between them.
"Don't you worry about any documents I'll have that sorted out within a week and we'll have a uniform ready for you and everything. Oh I just remembered you should probably go meet your new roommate! Come on you're gonna love him!" Gojo grabbed her arm and dragged Melinoe to the hallway as her burning feet made imprints on the floor that quickly faded away.
"Wait Gojo I'm not in any condition to greet anyone don-" Melinoe couldn't break free from his grasp as he quickly took her not too far down the hall to another dorm room.
"Too late." Gojo knocked on the door continuously and said in an annoying voice imitating a childing "Oh Megumi~!" The sorcerer continued knocking, getting faster and faster.
"Gojo I swear if you don't stop-" A boy wearing a black shirt and gray baggy pants with black spiky hair as his expression was a sour one "knocking I swear I'm gonna punch you." He then notices the girl standing next to Satoru Gojo and can immediately tell there's something up with her because you usually don't don't see girls with a spectral arm, burning legs, and in an attire with lots of silver. "Satoru, who is this?"
"Meet your brand new roommate Melinoe!" Gojo exclaimed and posed to show off Melinoe as little sparkles came from him as Melinoe looked anxious meeting this very angry looking boy.
She cleared her throat and introduced herself "Hail sorcerer, it's a pleasure to meet you and I hope we can get along in the near future." Melinoe said, doing her usual salute when greeting others, Megumi's expression did not change.
"And get this Megumi, she's also a goddess of- what are you the goddess of exactly?" Gojo asked, standing back up as Megumi raised his eyebrow hearing that as now Melinoe was put on the spot. To a question she had no answer to "Well… I'm not…really sure?"
"Uh huh… Gojo, what do you want?" Megumi asked with his expression turning sour.
"Well Megumi, I have a very important job for you, I want you to help our friend Melinoe get caught up to speed with what we do here, and give our friend some field experience. So I want you to take her on that little snatch and grab mission I told you about earlier."
"Satoru, are you even sure she can even see curses? I don't feel any cursed energy coming from her." Megumi said to Gojo
"Well let's test that, pull out a Shikigami for us."
"Shikigami?" Melinoe questioned.
"Just watch, go ahead Megumi." Gojo said to Megumi as the first year sighed and put his hands together to make the sign of a toad as from his shadow came a large toad as Melinoe stepped back clearly proving that yes she can see curses and cursed energy. The reaction that Melinoe gave next surprised both Gojo and Megumi as the goddess got on one knee and began to pet the toad by its cheeks "It's like a giant Frinos oh look at you!"
Melinoe quickly realized the scene she was causing and stood back up quickly, having a little blush on her face. "I… apologize for my sudden outburst."
"Frinos?" Megumi questioned.
"Frinos was a familiar of mine, I've had him since I was little when Headmistress Hecate found him. He's more of a frog really and almost 3 times as big as one but I could always confide with him."
"Well look at that Megumi you're already making friends, well you kids have fun together because sensei's gotta run. Good luck with your mission Megumi, don't be too rough with Mel okay byeee~" Before either of them could say anything to Gojo he disappeared in an instant.
"Swift like Hermes…" Melinoe said, impressed at infinity assuming it worked a different way to how it actually worked, she made a mental note to ask Gojo how it actually worked much like she needs to ask how a million things in this world works. She looked towards Megumi as she now had an idea to ease the tension between them "Megumi is it? I unfortunately don't have any nectar for you but maybe this will suffice."
Melinoe from her magic sack that seems to hold everything apparently the goddess gave two cookies to Megumi that were shaped like skulls. Megumi questioned her saying "Cookies? What are these supposed to be blessed or something?"
"Beasts have an acquired taste for these treats, I don't know the effects on Shikigami but they shouldn't be too far apart from a familiar. It strengthens the bonds between you and a beast letting them grow stronger and become more attached to you." Melinoe explained as Megumi's expression softened but his neutral expression isn't much different in the first place.
"Thanks, I'll tell you if they work later… but we need to do something about your outfit." Megumi told Melinoe as she tilted her head in confusion.
"Is there something wrong with it?"
"You look suspicious wearing that outfit, you shouldn't be walking around barefoot especially with your burning feet, and that ghost arm is gonna scare people or give them the wrong idea. Let me find you something before we go out." Megumi said going back into his room as Melinoe followed him inside, not arguing with his reasoning. He didn't keep much in his room and it was very well kept, Melinoe could relate as while she rarely was home upon acquiring the goal to slay the Titan of Time she preferred to not live in disarray. Despite Dora often messing with her belongings either by accident or on purpose to mess with her.

Megumi let Melinoe borrow some of his older clothes, a long sleeve sweater that covered most of her spectral arm, black sweatpants, and some boots that fit Melinoe surprisingly well even though her feet burnt the shoes, and some black gloves to cover the rest of her spectral arm. She looked totally inconspicuous, besides her black and red eye but what can you really do about that? It wasn't really that comfortable and especially her feet, do mortals really wear these everyday, how do they even live?
Discomforts aside Melinoe was thankful for the spare clothes but right now they had to go on that snatch and grab mission Gojo talked about. While the two walked through Jujutsu Tech's campus grounds Melinoe popped the question "So what does Master Gojo want us to grab?"
"Of course he didn't inform you…" Megumi pulled out a small smooth brick that lit up in his hand as Melinoe peaked over his shoulder to see what it did as Megumi pulled up a photo of a disgusting red finger in a box but Melinoe first asked him "Megumi what is this brick you're holding that can show pictures?"
"What? Do you not know what a phone is?"
"Afraid not, I haven't been to the surface since a couple thousand years ago. Last time I went it was nothing but war and destruction, but things seemed to have turned out alright in the end. I'm getting off track, so what does a phone do?"
"It lets me take photos, call people, and let's me look up almost anything to put it simply. You can ask Gojo for one. He'll probably buy you one since you're his student after all." Megumi explained to Melinoe as they got back on topic "What we're looking for is a special grade cursed object, Ryomen Sukuna's finger. They belong to the most powerful sorcerer in history and are used to ward off curses with the amount of curse energy they let off, but now the seals on them are weakening and it's beginning to attract curses to them. We shouldn't have too many problems on this mission but be ready for anything."
"Should something so important really be given to us two with the little experience we have?" Melinoe asked as she was starting to feel uneasy.
"We'll be fine, you're a goddess after all so what is there for you to be afraid of."
The two would walk together for a while as Melinoe would be introduced to the advancement humans have made in the modern era, almost everyone had a phone, large metal methods of transportation called cars, trucks, buses, and trains. In the sky Melinoe could swear she saw a large metal bird with lights on it and was told by Megumi it was probably something called a plane. The food was unlike anything she's ever seen but it's not like Melinoe had a need to eat anything besides poms of power, but the food in japan made her mouth water and it was hard to resist the temptation to buy some but unfortunately she had no money to speak of and Megumi kept her focused. The sky grew dark as they came across a very large building that Megumi explained was something called a high school, the two snuck around the back where there was a small shed and surprisingly there were no curses to be felt in the slightest.
"Is this it?" Melinoe asked.
"This is where Gojo said it would be." Megumi affirmed Melinoe as he thought who would be stupid enough to keep such a dangerous cursed object in a place like this. Even stranger that the little shed looks as if it was unlocked recently, Megumi opened the shed doors as his face displayed pure shock as Melinoe looked inside the little shed and asked Megumi "Is there supposed to be nothing here?"
Megumi frantically looked around the little shed, feeling the inside, looking on the bottom side of the shed, opening and closing the door again, but still nothing. He pulled up his phone and began to call Gojo as his sensei picked up the phone and said "The Strongest speaking."
"Gojo, it's Megumi."
"Megumiiiii! How's it going, how's Mel doing? She didn't run off or anything?"
"No, she's still here."
"Salutations Sensei Gojo." Melinoe said to the phone.
"Gojo the cursed object is gone." Megumi said to get back on topic.
"For real?! That's hilarious! Maybe it took a nighttime stroll?" Gojo said giggling over the phone as Megumi was not in the mood to deal with Gojo's antics "I'm gonna punch you."
"Well no going home till you find it so good luck kids." Gojo said as he hung up the phone.
"I'm gonna punch him for real next time…" Megumi muttered to himself.

Megumi and Melinoe decided to take a break and continue their search the next day. In the morning the Megumi and Melinoe went back to the school the next day during after school hours where people were either in their clubs or going home. The two stepped onto a rugby field and Melinoe could smell something was off as the two saw a curse swimming through the floor. "Something's off about this place, someone has been buried here."
When Melinoe saw the curse go towards the rugby goal she manifested Lim and Oros in her hands as she was prepared to exorcize the curse. Megumi quickly stopped her, putting a hand on her shoulder "We're in public Melinoe, don't try anything, we have a job to do we can deal with it later if it becomes a problem."
Melinoe reluctantly put her nocturnal arms away as even if she could tell that it would have only taken a few seconds max, she decided to listen to Megumi just in case anyone did look their way as Lim and Oros disappeared. Megumi was getting more annoyed at this mission, wondering who was even stupid enough to touch such a powerful object. The two continued walking and heard a student say "Over here! Coach Takagi is taking on Itadori from West Middle!"
The two looked towards a competition happening between a middle aged coach and a boy with pink spiky hair, the two were in a shot put competition as the coach threw first. He threw it quite far reaching 18m 85cm as everyone watching this go down clapped for him as the students now cheered on the boy with pink hair chanting "Itadori Itadori Itadori!". While Melinoe had no context of what even started this little feud it seemed kind of unfair to challenge a teenager in the first place as the difference between the two stature wise obviously told her that the coach was going to win.
They boy was handed a metal ball which he nearly dropped as people giggled when seeing this. Itadori asked the coach, "Hey, can I just throw this however I want?". The coach confident he would win this gave him the go ahead to do whatever he pleased as Itadori reeled back his arm and threw the metal ball like it weighed nearly nothing as everyone was shocked seeing that he threw it not only further than the coach but managed to leave it dented in a goal post, and reaching 23M 12CM leaving him the clear winner as others talked about how that was a world record.
Since when were mortals so strong? Melinoe thought he was just some regular kid but he could probably kill someone with an arm like that, this boy must be some sort of half god if he was able to pull something like that off. Itadori looked at the time and saw that he was late for something as he grabbed his bag and quickly ran past Megumi and Melinoe, not acknowledging the two at all. But when he did the two sorcerers in training felt an evil presence come from the boy, something that they couldn't ignore and as Megumi tried to grab his attention Itadori ran like the wind and was gone in a matter of seconds. How was he so fast?! There is no way the boy wasn't either blessed or a half god.

The two chased Itadori the best they could but lost track of him quickly but that evil presence coming from him allowed Megumi to easily track him as they went through a flower shop and then eventually a hospital. The sun was beginning to set and Melinoe looked out at the orange sky and then the sun. It really just started to hit her that she has never seen the sun in person unless you count Apollo. It was a beautiful sight but she was getting distracted and continued to follow Megumi. Arriving at the hospital Melinoe already didn't like this place, the smell alone began to bother her and upon arriving she already felt as if someone had just recently died around her.
The two walked until they came across a dark room with Itadori signing some papers and talking to one of the nurses. It seems Itadori lost his grandpa today from what she could hear, now while she herself hasn't experienced death of a loved one she couldn't help but feel sorry for the boy and especially from everything that has been going on in terms of the underworld the last time she was there. Melinoe only wished the best for him and any mortals who wound up in the underworld, maybe things fixed themselves when she left or maybe things got worse…
"Itadori Yuji, right?" Megumi called out to the boy in pink hair as he looked both at him and Melinoe. "I'm Fushiguro and this is my partner Melinoe, we're from Jujutsu tech. We need to have a word with you, right now."
"Um, I'm kinda mourning right now." Itadori replied.
"Our sincerest condolences for your loss and we apologize for pestering you at this moment but this is of the utmost importance and it can't wait so please cooperate with us ." Melinoe said to Itadori as Megumi started to talk.
"You have a dangerous cursed object with you and we need you to hand it over now."
"Cursed object?" Yuji questioned.
Megumi pulled out his phone to show a picture to Itadori of a wrapped up finger, different to the one shown to Melinoe. Yuji examined the picture for a second and said "Oh yeah I found that."
"Wonderful, now please if you wouldn't mind giving it to us so we may be on our way." Melinoe said to Yuji.
"I don't mind giving it to you two but by friends were totally into it and I gave it to them, so what's so dangerous about it anyway?"
"The number of unexplained deaths and missing persons within Japan exceeds 10,000 a year on average. Most of those are the result of curses." Megumi began to explain.
"Curses?" Yuji interrupted.
"I don't care if you believe in them or not. They're real. I'll go on. Large pools of negative energy form especially easily in schools, hospitals, and so on. Hardship, regret, shame… The negative emotions of mankind become the source of curses. That's why most schools secretly keep a cursed object such as a protective talisman. The object you found is one of them."
"If it's protecting us, shouldn't we be grateful for it?"
"Let me finish. Placing a cursed object of greater evil is a deadly poison that keeps other curses away. It's a bad practice that only claims to protect. Over the years, its seal weakens, and then it becomes bait to lure in and fatten up other curses. The object you found is a dangerous one, classified as special-grade. Hand it over before people start dying."
"Hey I already said I don't have it, I just have the box here." Yuji tossed the box to Megumi as he opened it to see that the cursed object was truly gone and he and Melinoe were just following the residuals it left behind. Was this object that powerful?
"Where are the contents?!" Megumi yelled at Yuji as he began to panic.
"I already told you my senpai have it." Yuji told Megumi that even Melinoe could feel the direness of this situation.
"Oh no… where are they now?" Melinoe asked.
"Well they were planning to remove the talisman tonight, is something bad gonna happen to them?"
"Bad doesn't even begin to describe it, they're gonna die." Megumi said as it hit Itadori like a brick.
"We must make haste now Megumi." Melinoe said as Megumi gave her a nod as the two began to run back to Itadori's highschool with Itadori following behind them.
Melinoe, Megumi, and Itadori ran as fast as they could, with Itadori leading the two back to the school as he led them to a shortcut to the school. The three quickly came to the school as Itadori was physically stopped by the sheer pressure coming from the cursed object inside of the school. "What is this pressure?!"
"Itadori stay here." Megumi said as he hopped the school gate and Megumi simply dashed through it with her ability to become briefly intangible which surprised the two but they had more important things to attend to so they didn't bring it up.
"Hold up, let me help! You said it was dangerous, right? I've only known my friends for a little bit but I can't just stand by." Yuji yelled at the two as Megumi repeated "Itadori stay here."
"I'm sorry Itadori but we can't risk anyone getting hurt, we promise your friends will be safe just please wait here." Melinoe said as she and Megumi ran into the school to find the cursed object and help Yuji's friends.
Neither her or Megumi could pinpoint where the cursed object was because the evil presence was simply that potent. Melinoe decided to take off her boots to run through the halls faster with her scorching feet leaving burn marks on the floor wherever she stepped. The two then encountered a black curse with multiple eyes as the two stopped with Melinoe summoning Lim and Oros and Megumi made a hand gesture that summoned two wolves from his shadow as he yelled, "Divine Dogs!"
"Let me handle this Megumi, go find the cursed object." Melinoe said as Magumi ran past her as she channeled her magic and teleported to the curse, slicing it with Lim and Oros from behind and following up with many strikes from the nocturnal arms. The curse was vanquished but as one fell 2 more popped up in its place as one lept towards the goddess from behind but the goddess simply dashed through the curse and left behind an omega cast slowing down the two curses.
The goddess channeled her magic into the dagger of the sister blades and multiple daggers began to appear in her hand as she threw them at the curses, damaging them as the omega cast blew up vanquishing the curses as they faded to ash. But one of the curses did leave behind a little white orb with black smoke coming from the orb, Melinoe picked it up and pulled out her codex looking inside seeing that this was called cursed essence. Melinoe put the codex away and put the cursed essence in her magic sack and began to run where she last saw Megumi.
Melinoe ran up some stairs and turned a corner, seeing a school girl being fondled by a curse and being ready to be devoured. She was too far for the sister blades to allow her to teleport to the curse and the dagger might hit the school girl. Her and Megumi were gonna be too late to stop the curse but Melinoe still tried and dashed towards the curse as the girl was about to be swallowed whole. But as if by divine intervention Itadori came smashing through the window and drop kicking the curse and saving the girl and a school boy that the two didn't catch. The two Jujutsu students simultaneously attack the curse that previously attacked Yuji's friends and destroyed the curse as Megumi's divine dogs feasted on its remains and Melinoe taking some curse essence as the two began to talk to Itadori.
"Normally I'd be pissed but good job." Megumi complimented Itadori.
"That was very brave of you Itadori, I hesitated and almost got your friends killed… Thank you." Melinoe thanked Itadori and saluted the pink haired teen.
"Hold up Melinoe, your feet are on fire! Stomp it out!" Yuji said, panicking looking at Melinoe's burning feet as she quickly put her arms up to reassure him that she's okay. "Calm yourself Itadori it's alright, I was simply just born like this."
"Oh sorry… What are those things back there?" Itadori said, referring to the Shikigami behind Megumi.
"Huh? You can see them? They're my Shikigami, normally people can't see curses."
"Huh, now that you mention it, I have never seen a ghost before."
"Aren't you afraid?" Megumi asked Yuji.
"Well I was but then I thought everyone was going to die…" Melinoe and Megumi both tilted their heads and raised their eyebrows at that. "So I want to make sure that all the people I know have a proper death… not that I really understand it."
"A noble ideal Itadori." Melinoe said as a smile perked up on her face. Itadori stood up with the school girl in his arms as the finger they were looking for dropped out of her pocket and Yuji quickly caught it. "Woah! Is this what you guys are looking for?"
"The cursed object, Ryomen Sukuna's finger, it's a miracle it hasn't been swallowed yet." Megumi said.
"Why would anyone want to eat this? Does it taste good?" Itadori asked.
"I don't think a rotten finger would be even the slightest bit edible Itadori…" Melinoe said.
"Don't be dense, you eat it to gain stronger cursed energy, now hand it over, it's dangerous."
"Alright here tak-" Itadori was about to give the finger to Megumi but Megumi quickly saw a hand phase through the ceiling along with Melinoe as the two pushed Itadori away and Megumi yelled "RUN!"
A curse came crashing down as Itadori and his friends were pulled back by the Divine dogs as a cloud of dust covered the two Jujutsu students as Yuji yelled "Fushiguro! Melinoe!"
The dust cleared and Megumi and Melinoe were being restrained by the curse they saw earlier in the day as Melinoe wasn't able to free herself from the curse's grasp as her arms were restrained and she couldn't dash away as her feet weren't on the ground. "B-blasted… curse..!"
Megumi made a hand gesture and yelled "Nue!" But he was smashed into a wall along with Melinoe as Megumi spat out blood unable to summon another Shikigami as the Divine dogs disappeared into goop in front of Yuji. The curse busted through the wall sending Megumi and Melinoe tumbling onto a rooftop, Melinoe quickly got up as she's been through worse but Megumi was too hurt to properly stand "D…damn why can't I think straight!"
The curse charged at the two as Itadori ran up and smashed the curse over the head. Megumi yelled at him "Itadori! Your only chance is to take those two and run!"
"Itadori we can handle this, get to safety!" Melinoe said as she Teleported to the side of the curse and slashed the curse with the sister blades.
"But what about you two! I never let myself sleep at night if you two died here!" Itadori ran up the curse's up and smashed it once again with his fist as the curse grabbed him and slammed him into the floor. It simultaneously attacked the goddess using its multiple arms to hit the goddess but she phased right thre them with her brief intangibility but was soon swatted away while her intangibility was recovering. "Only a curse can beat a curse Itadori, you cannot defeat this!"
"Is that your idea of a pep talk?! At this rate we're both gonna die and if I leave I'll be having this nightmare for weeks! Besides… I got quite the curse myself!" Itadori said dodging multiple attacks but was set up for an uppercut to the stomach sending him upwards as he spat blood. The curse grabbed him as the finger of Ryomen Sukuna flew into the air as the curse tried to grab it but Itadori used his feet to boost himself up. The pink haired teen caught the finger with his teeth as the cursed opened its maw to eat Itadori and the finger at the same time, Melinoe stood back up from being swatted and could feel that she was out of magic and wouldn't be fast enough to cut Itadori free. Itadori thought fast and tossed the finger into the air and yelled "There's a way I could save everyone! I just need to have my own cursed energy!"
Megumi and Melinoe saw what he was about to do and Megumi shouted "Don't do it… DON'T DO IT!" But his words fell on deaf ears as Itadori swallowed Sukuna's finger, Megumi knew that Itadori wasn't going to survive a cursed special grade object like that is like a deadly poison and would likely kill Itadori. But there was a small chance that…
Itadori broke free from the curse's arms and jumped back as the curse charged towards Itadori but he put up his arms in a claw motion and the pink haired teen killed the curse without even touching it, reducing it to shreds. Melinoe was impressed by the display of power and was relieved that Itadori was okay, but Megumi wasn't so relieved as a bad problem had turned worse.
The moon shined upon the school as the clouds moved out of the way of the celestial body. Itadori as covered in black markings as underneath his eyes sprouted 2 more eyes as Itadori's voice became corrupted. Both Melinoe and Meugmi realized that this was no longer Itadori Yuji… the boy laughed like a maniac as he had a huge smile on his face. "HAHAHA! I KNEW IT! THE LIGHT FEELS BEST IN THE FLESH!"
This… thing that possessed Itadori tore off the yellow sweater he wore as he exposed his body showing even more markings along his body. "CURSED FLESH IS SO BORING! WHAT A WONDERFUL ERA TO BE REAWAKENED IN! WHERE ARE THE WOMEN?! WHERE ARE THE CHILDREN?! IT WILL BE A MASSACRE!"
Melinoe whispered to Megumi "That… isn't Itadori, what is that thing..?"
As she said that the thing possessing Yuji's body turned its head towards Melinoe as the goddess was suddenly stricken by pure fear as her body froze up. The thing inside Itadori's body smile turned bigger seeing Melinoe "FOUND ONE!" In an instant the hand of Itadori was about to claw Melinoe's face off as she gasped but he stopped mid attack as Itadori's body blinked with his normal voice coming back "What do you think you're doing with my body?"
The corrupted voice came back and said "Huh? How are you doing that?"
Itadori's normal voice said "Well it's my body you know?"
"STAY RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!" Megumi said getting up and putting his fists forward to summon a Shikigami as Melinoe, while afraid, took a battle stance.
"By Jujutsu regulation… Yuji Itadori we must be forced to execute you as a curse!"
"I don't wish to harm you Itadori… but you are too dangerous to be left alive…" Melinoe said reluctantly.
"What… no really I'm feeling fine." Itadori's markings began to fade away as he put his arms up to tell them that he wasn't gonna hurt anyone. "Besides we're all pretty beat up, shouldn't we go see a doctor or something?"
Megumi didn't want to hurt Itadori but he had to do what he must either way both he and Melinoe were going to die "With this treasure I sum-"
"What's the situation Megumi?" A familiar voice said behind Megumi and Melinoe as the two turned around to see the one and only strongest sorcerer.
"Sensei Gojo? What are you doing here?"

Whew that chapter took longer than I expected. I really appreciate all the comments and I'm genuinely happy that people actually want to see me continue this.
Before I forget going into my yap sesh I'm on Ao3 under the name Alex_D_Andra so feel free to go read this series on there if you like.
I kinda slacked on this for a bit because I wasn't feeling too good but now I'm back on the grind and ready to begin writing because after this episode we can finally get to characters interacting.
I believe I found a good middle with Melinoe getting cursed energy, I will have it be an incantation she has to fulfill like in Hades 2. While she is pretty tough on her own I imagine giving her cursed energy would make her even stronger and would bump her up to Yuji level.
I also plan to have some Hades characters both Gods and others show up in this series, I already have something in my head involving Scylla that I just think is dope as fuck but no spoilers.
I plan to have Melinoe be with Itadori the most throughout this fanfic, which means she will be there during the Mahito arc and will "die" along with Yuji at the end of fearsome womb but she won't end up being sent to Shoko. I have something cool planned for her and it will answer the question of what happened to the gods in this world.
Anyway, I think that covers everything. Next chapter I'll start doing some Jujutsu strolls because I think it'd be funny. So bye bye and thanks for reading.
