Ninjala High School Journey!
The first Ninjala story to be published in this website. I think.
And I don't own Ninjala and the other contents. Their original creators do
Prologue
"Is it time?"
"Yes, it's time brother."
In a private room in the World Ninja Association HQ in Eagle City, 2 old men known as the twin brothers, Genryusai and Gen'unsai are having a private discussion.
"I once heard that many years ago, the WNA has approved of the establishment of ninja high schools in 16 countries. USK(United States of Komerika), UK, France, Argentina, Canada, Brazil, Egypt, Russia, Mexico, Oedo, India, Australia, Greece, Saudi Arabia, China and South Korea." Gen'unsai spoke first.
"Yes and 10 years ago, they are completed and those with the power of the shinobi can not only hone their ninja abilities but they can also further their studies." Genryusai explained. "Not to mention that in those high schools, no longer they shall use ninja gum weapons. Now, they can get the chance to master real ninja weapons."
"Agreed. Now as far as I know, the current generation of students of the WNA Academy in Eagle City have graduated. It is expected that letters will be sent to them right?" Gen'unsai asked.
"Yes but know that the high schools they will be enrolled in are randomized. The WNA will do the enorlment. Every year, around 300 students are enrolled in any of the 16 high schools from the hundred WNA Academies worldwide." Genryusai replied.
"Mmmm…to think those kids have endured many perils like when the Space Ninjas attacked us, we were victorious and Allen is arrested along with those associated with the enemy and when we helped an outside race, it was a success and they even got their hands on the gum needed to restore their homeworld. Even so, the Shadow Ninjas which have been a thorn on our side for a long time were finally defeated and imprisoned though a few are still on the run or in hiding."
"True. And the WNA is working hard to completely remove this threat."
The 2 old men then took a cup of tea each and had their sip. After that, "Tell me something brother, I have once heard that those with the power of the shinobi also have something called, 'Awakened Power' is it? Though this is not related to the ninja gum and stuff." Gen'unsai asked.
"Precisely. One who's in the age group between the numbers, 16 to 17 will experience the Awakened Power and this has begun when the high schools are completed with the first batch experiencing it. This will manifest in them granting powers beyond our imagination. Commonly speaking, the Power of the Shinobi grants the individuals extraordinary abilities like that of the ninja when they first consume the Ninja Gum at the age of 12 to 13." Genryusai explained.
"Like dodging attacks with agility, running swiftly and silently, mastering weapons and disappearing and reappearing, etc…."
"Right. Now from my own experience, I have seen many ninjas with various awakened powers. Examples like being able to fly, to breathe underwater for long hours, immunity to range attacks, transforming their arms into claws or weapons, creating and manipulating elements with their minds, etc." Genryusai explained some more. "Even so, some of our brethren working in WNA also have their own awakened powers."
"Intriguing. Though in this current generation of ninjas, we also experienced a few who might have awakened their powers at a young age before being enrolled in the academy…" Gen'unsai recalled.
"Very true. A rare sight of you ask me due to heritage and bloodlines and it's also rare for a few to manifest their awakened powers at a later age but it never happened at all. I must say, this generation of ninjas is extraordinary…" said Genryusai.
"Oh if only back in those days this could have happened, then you and I would have awakened powers…"
"Times have changed brother. Through the high schools, they will go the extra mile in their training and be ready to protect this world."
The 2 old men then had another sip of their tea. After that, "One thing's for sure, this can benefit my grandson though he has yet to hear of the existence of the Awakened Power." Gen'unsai stated.
"Indeed. This is not known to the young ones until the manifestation awakens in them. Truly things really had changed on this earth." Genryusai stated as they shared a laugh and finished their tea.
The last time I did a high school story, it was in a cartoon involving ducks. Now this one involves ninjas based from a game and anime and a homage to my username. Sounds interesting and I can't wait to get started!
