The Loud Ark: Chapter 1 - Lincoln's Family
This is the account of Lincoln and his family.
There was a time when the Earth was still young back when all the continents were all joined together and full of life, from the tallest tree on the highest mountain to the smallest insect living beneath the sands. The lord god Aslan created the heavens, then the earth, the plants, and the animals. But Aslan's greatest creation was humans, he made the first man named Adam alongside the first woman named Eve. Ever since Adam and Eve, their descendants spread across the earth until the land was dominated by hundreds of people, who did as they pleased without regard for each other. Those who were strong would often mistreat those who were weak by comparison. They would steal from and relentlessly harm each other without even the slightest remorse.
On the earth in the many cities and towns, people were doing wicked terrible sinful things. People were killing each other, stealing, fighting, gambling, drinking, wars with one another, and other wicked stuff that can't be talked about. It truly was a nightmare, one that people wished to wake up from.
The wickedness of mankind grew more and more with each passing day until corruption and violence were everywhere. The almighty God was sorrowful and angry to see that his people had forgotten him in their hearts and thus decided it was time to put an end to it all. Humanity had condemned itself to extinction. Only one family in all the land remained virtuous and followed the Lord's way.
In a secluded area far away from the city, a town called Royal Village. There lived a young boy named Lincoln Loud, he lived in a house with his parents Lynn Sr. and Rita, and his ten sisters, Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn Jr., Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily. Yes, he had a lot of sisters.
Lincoln was a righteous boy who kept the word of God in his heart every day. He was blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God and helped spread the word of God among his family. They had little money and owned only the land that Lynn's Sr.'s father, Leonard Loud had left for his father, but they were very happy.
They also lived with their friends and neighbors of the village, the McBrides, Changs, Santiagos, and Casagrandes. Because of his belief in God, Lincoln had been ridiculed by the people outside the village. When he was born his body glowed and shined, Rita's father, Albert, a priest of their village believed that he was the chosen one by Aslan, and chose him as his successor. Pop-Pop taught Lincoln the ways of the lord and even though he wasn't much special compared to his sisters, little did he know that he was special in the eyes of the Lord.
One evening, after a long hard day on the farm, Lincoln was plowing with the cattle with yokes around their shoulders and necks pulling the plow on the field. Lori was churning the butter while Lana and Lynn were milking the cows. Luna was playing a lullaby with her guitar for the animals. Lola and Leni were harvesting the crops and removing the weeds. Lisa was observing and overseeing their progress. Lucy fed the chickens while Luan fed the pigs. For Lily, she was still too small to help resting on a hale bale with two Rabbits named Jazzy and Snazzy, whom they were babysitting for one of their friends, she giggled as she petted them.
Lincoln noticed the sun setting it was time to go home and he sighed. "Okay, it's time to go home!"
"Yeah, Quitting Time!" Exclaimed Luna.
"Do we have to?" Asked Leni. "I just almost got that weed!" She struggled trying to pull that weed from the soil.
"Leni, how about you finish tomorrow?" Replied Lincoln. "Since God knows how much we worked hard."
"Yeah, it's not like it's the end of the world." Added Lola.
"Yeah, I guess you're right, Linky," Leni replied.
"True, but God wants us to supply our strength as well so we can do his work." Added Lincoln.
"You're right about that Lincoln!" Said Lana.
"Wise words brother." Added Luna.
"Yeah, let's call it a night for today." Said Lori. "And we'll continue tomorrow."
They hear bleating and see a nanny goat run by. It was Liam's goat, Carol Anne with Lincoln's friends Cylde, Liam, Rusty, Zach, and Stella chasing after her.
"Carol Anne! Come back!" Shouted Liam.
"Hi guys, Say did Liam's goat get out by herself again?" Asked Lincoln.
"Yes, she did Lincoln!" Replied Clyde.
"Big time, so now we're chasing after it!" Added Rusty.
"But she's just too difficult That goat can be a right pain at times, or not." Said Zach. "You see the goat that had broken through the wooden fence of her pen."
"Come here, Carol," said Liam as He, Rusty, and Zach were keeping the goat distracted. "Come on girl…it's okay."
"I got her," Clyde said as he jumped onto Carol Anne's back. "I got her!"
"Hold on tight to her, Clyde," said Liam.
"Whoa! Whoa! HELP!" Clyde exclaimed.
Surprised the goat started bucking like a horse and the three boys took off after the goat. Lincoln and the girls laughed as they watched the comedy scene before them.
"I don't know who's more stubborn, the goat or the boys," said Stella as she giggled. "Either way, this should be very interesting,"
"Liam, isn't there anything to stop her?!" Asked Zach.
The goat's sudden stop flung Clyde off and head first right into a muddy puddle as he merged Dizzied out and said, "I don't got her!"
After so much tripping and running around, Lincoln steps in to calm the goat with a staff in hand and some grass.
"Ok, guys, stand back, I'll take it from here." Said Lincoln "Easy girl Relax! I'm your friend. I'm not gonna hurt you, We're all God's creations."
As he offers the grass to her, the goat starts to relax and feeds off his hand while Lincoln pets her. "There there now, That's it."
Soon Lincoln brought her to Liam as the farmboy placed a lead rope over her neck.
"Here you go Liam," Said Lincoln.
"Hew, thanks Lincoln." Replied Liam. "Now let's put Carol Anne back in her stable, and head home."
"See ya, Lincoln!" Waved Clyde.
"See ya Later!" Lincoln replied.
The Boys left while Stella stood behind for she had a gift for Lana.
"Oh, Lana! I got something for you!" Said Stella
"Did you get it?!" Asked Laan excitedly.
Stella shows her a small house made out of cardboard pictures, buttons, magazine cut-outs, paints, and plants.
"Sweet, thanks Stells!" Said Lana.
"You're welcome Lana," Stella replied.
"I say it looks good Stella. Perhaps Walt would like it, He sure would." Added Lincoln thinking the house is for their Pet Canary Walt.
"Thanks, It's not for birds, it's for the little people." Replied Stella.
"Oh right, you still believe in those fairy folk do you?!" asked Lincoln.
"Me and my family call them Diwatas," Said Lincon. "It's Filipino for fairy, The caretakers of and the guardians of nature who look after the land caring for the plants and animals. They live in large trees and bring blessings or curses upon those who bring benefits or harm the environment."
"I sure love to see them one day in my garden," added Lola.
"Yeah if they were real," he joked and then stopped to smell the air of something delicious. "Hmm, unless my nose deceives me, I believe we are having our Dad's famous stew tonight."
"Yeah, I do," Lana replied. "It must be."
"Come on guys! Race ya for first dibs!" shouted Lynn Jr.
Soon the sisters rush off to the house while Lincoln chuckles. "That never gets old!"
. . . . .
After saying goodbye to Stella, The kids made it back home to the Loud House. After hearing their father come to eat for dinner, the kids who were in their rooms rushed to the dining room downstairs. Lana was about to leave her and Lola's room when she heard rustling on the fairy house.
"Huh?" wondered Lana,
She walked back and looked inside the little window and her eyes widened, she gasped seeing those wings, and she picked the little house up and ran to show it to her brother.
"Lincoln! Lincoln! You gotta see this! " Lana shouted.
Meanwhile, Lincoln was in his room praying to the lord it felt better away from the chaos of his sisters. He thanked him for his family, helping him in times of need, and for everything provided for him.
"Thank you, Lord, for helping me and providing me strength." Prayed Lincoln. "I praise you for grace and for getting me and my family during this hard time. Amen. "
Then Lana rushed and opened the door to his room, Lincoln yelped as he got up and turned to see his little sister.
"Hey, Lincoln!" Lana shouted carrying the fairy houses into his room after closing the door. "You wouldn't believe what I found in my fairy house?! It's a fairy."
"What?" shouted Lincoln who was puzzled by this.
"Yeah, see for yourself!" Replied Lana.
The two Louds looked through the window of the small house.
"I see nothing, Lana." Said Lincoln
"I think she's hiding and shy," Lana replied. "Come on out, we ain't gonna hurt ya."
Luckily they were in his room with the windows closed as they didn't want the fairy to fly out into the open as Lincoln removed the leaf-covered roof.
"Okay, I still see no fai-" Suddenly Lincoln gasped as they both saw a moving blurry figure fly out. "Holy!"
It was a green-clothed fairy with blonde hair tied into a bun by a vine scrunchie, green slippers with cotton balls, and blue eyes, she had a grass-strand strapless top and a green leaf skirt with thin leaves. They finally saw it as she flew to the ceiling to hide.
"Wait come down!" Lincoln exclaimed.
"We're not gonna hurt you!" said Lana. "We're friends."
"Hmm?" wondered the fairy. She was afraid so she hid in the corner of the ceiling. She had no way out upon looking at them all in a confused look.
"It's okay, We are nice people! You can trust us?" t Lincoln said and upon hearing him, the fairy flew down and landed on his hand.
"You did it, Linky!" Exclaimed Lana.
"See, there's nothing to be afraid of, we are all God's creations," Said Lincoln softly and smoothly. "So who are you, little fairy?"
"I'm Tinkerbell," said the fairy. "I was flying about looking for lost things, I stopped when I saw you calm down that goat, and the girl giving your sister that house. I just looked inside when she saw me. I would say it is the nice house the girl made for me, I love it!"
"Really?" asked Lincoln. "That girl was one of my friends Stella."
"Is that so? Well then, please thank her for me." Said Tinkerbell. "And who might I ask, who are all of you?"
"I'm Lincoln, Lincoln Noah Albert Seth Loud, or just Lincoln, and this is one of my sisters Lana." Said Lincoln.
"Hi there." Replied Lana.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all." Replied Tinkerbell.
"Same here," said Lana, "And why were you looking for lost things?"
"That's just my talent," Replied Tinkerbell, "I reuse these things to make interesting stuff."
Then there was a knock on the window outside.
"That's odd it sounds like we have company," Lincoln said as he and Lana got up.
"I'll get it" Added Lana as they looked out the window to their surprise they saw five more fairies around Tinkerbell's height.
A light brown hair fairy with a long braided ponytail tied in a leaf scrunchie, a vine headband, an orange colored top with spottings on the top, yellow shorts, and a leglet with a red bead, a light brown skin fairy with black hair tied in a bun, a yellow dress with a row of black spots with small yellow centers, a sunflower seed click on the chest, lower petals tips at the end of the dress, and yellow sandals, an auburn hair fairy that ended in locks, a strapless red dress grading to pale pink at the bottom of the skirt, and red sandals, a black navy blue hair fairy, a light blue dress with some yellow on the right with a single strap on her right shoulder, and blue sandals, and a black hair fairy tied in a black ponytail with a lavender scrunchie, a purple high collar top with lavender feathers on the bottom, purple pants with feather edgings, and purple slippers.
Tinkerbell recognized them, they were her friends Fawn, Rosetta, Iridessa, Silvermist, and Vidia as she pointed it out to Lincoln and Lana.
"Oh, are they you're friends?" He asked Tinkerbell as he opened the window for them to let them.
"Yes, they are," Answered Tinkerbell. "Please meet Fawn, Rosetta, Iridessa, Silvermist, and Vidia."
"Hello there!" Both Lincoln and Lana said to the five fairies. Her friends were worried for Tink that if something bad happened to her she told them about Lincoln and Lana as they were kind and nice people. Lincoln noticed they hadn't eaten in a while.
"You all must be hungry," Said Lincoln Concernly. "Lana please ask Lola for her Tea Set to take out eight little bowls and fill them with some of the stew, I think our guests must be hungry. No matter what size they are all of God's creatures are important."
"You truly are a good person Lincoln." Said Lana as they exited the room.
Soon they joined the rest of the family at the dinner table After everyone was washed up, the family sat down to a hearty dinner, they were surprised by their new guests before eating, everyone at the table bowed their heads and thanked the Lord for bringing them together, for showing them the way, and for rewarding them for all of their hard work with a wonderfully cooked meal. Then they proceeded to feast.
God was very pleased with Lincoln Noah and his family and found favor for them in his eyes. Little did Lincoln know that God would soon speak with him, and the event would save his life, the life of his family, his village, and the lives of many animals that lived on the Earth.
