Mika is the Main character but Hinata is extremely important.
No romance for Mika planned at all.

Hinata's graduation was effortless, she barely tried and easily took the top spot, far exceeding even Sasuke. She knew that for a fact, Iruka actually choked when he declared her- "Kunoichi of the Year... Hinata Hyuuga. She, actually, is the Top student with the highest scores of a Kunoichi since someone named Kushina decades ago. Congratulations, Hinata!"
Hinata, without looking back, grabbed her headband and marched out of the academy with her head held high. Mika was waiting for her alongside her father. "I have the highest scores since someone named Kushina."
Her father's eyes were wide. "I knew Kushina, she was an incredible kunoichi, she actually played a large role in the Third War though through many reasons she was never acknowledged for it. Many kunoichi were ignored for all they did. She was easily a Sanin level force, comparable to the Fourth Hokage himself. Be proud, Hinata, if you were compared to her, it was a compliment of the highest order."
She actually flushed, her old stutter threatening to return. "That is an honor, father. I hope to one day surpass her then."
"I believe you very well might." He actually smiled at her, and Hinata felt warm.
Mika on the other hand picked her up, swirling her around in a rather cliche but fun manner. "I always knew you were brillant, My academic scores surpassed Itachi Uchiha's, so really you must get your genius from me."
THAT made her giggle. "Of course, through osmosis if nothing else."
"I think a celebration is in order." Mika commanded. "To the Bakery!"
And even Hiashi chuckled at that. "I will pay for it, it is the least I can do."
"Then I have a present, if you are willing to take it up with me?"

Hinata was unsure of what Mika wanted as they walked into the Inuzuka compound, to where they saw a veterinarians clinic. "Why are we here?"
Mika laughed. "Your father told me what Team you would have. I did some research of my own and decided to make a gift with your goals in mind." They entered the building her father lagging behind. Hana, a girl she had seen before with Kiba Inuzuka a few times, stood at the counter waiting. "Mika! You made it. And you Lord and Lady Hyuuga." She bowed softly. "I take it Hinata has agreed?"
Mika smiled. "She hasn't found out yet... Hinata, You wanted to become a medic, but your team will have some unique cases. Including an Aburame and a Inuzuka plus a Ninja Dog. I thought it was best if you spent a few days a week here, to get superior tracking and healing skills, plus the specialized training your team will need. What do you say?"
She threw herself at Mika, kissing his face. "I love it! Hana, I accept."
Hana laughed. "Perfect. Mika's well known medically, I trust the assessments he gave you on your chakra control and anatomy training. I will still go over it, just to be sure, but we will be able to dive into your training far quicker with what Mika trained you for."
That made Hinata feel lighter than ever. "I am so happy..."
"You'll spend three days a week here instead with your team for six hours. I already spoke to your sensei, they agreed to it, right Kurenai?"
Hinata turned, beaming at her old guardian. "Really, you?"
Kurenai laughed. "Yes, really. Now, I know your likely worried you won't be able to train with Mika, but there will be days where we will just let you and him train. Saturday will always be free for you two to work on whatever your heart desires."
Hinata smiled. "I want to take the chunin exams this year. I want to become Mika's partner, to work as one in our own two man squad. We work extremely well together and know each other perfectly. I think that, as one, we will conquer the world. I share his dream, I want to become something akin to the Sanin as well... and I think together, we can make our dreams come true."
Mika slapped her arm. "And so we will, Hinata, so many dreams..." They shared a look and she knew he was talking about her desire to undo the Curse seal... and together, they would make it happen... by any means necessary.
