Two weeks Post Hinata's Graduation!
"GAH!" Hinata choked out, kicking Mika back with a chakra bolstered foot as they sparred in their training grounds. "Why are D ranks walking dogs or digging potatoes? It's a waste of time, I do real D ranks helping care for the clinic with Hana!" She growled out, using her full speed to blitz Mika side, attempting to close his chakra points without actually hurting him.
Mika, a master of evasion after a year of hospital work, easily dodged her. Grabbing her right wrist, he bent her into shape and kicked her back. "I never had to do any, I worked alone as a medic for most of my time, as you well know. D ranks are a pathetic waste of time overall." Grabbing his blade out, Mika charged her, but instead of slicing when he was close, he did it a solid six inches away, somehow splashing water into her eyes.
"GAH!" She screamed, stunned by the sharpness and coldness of his clever attack. She lost the fight then, feeling the blade at her throat. "What was that?"
He laughed. "I gathered water chakra on my blade, sort of like this Flying Swallow attack I've read of. I wish someone would teach me it, it would give me needed range. I did read on a Samurai technique, Flash it is called, where they do something similar. I will figure it out." He shrugged.
A hawk, flying above them, stopped their movements. "You have to go?"
Mika nodded. "This is an emergency summons... I must go. See if Hana can spar, I will see you later, Hime."

It took mere minutes to reach the Hokage's office, the man looking at him sternly. "Team Seven was sent on a simple C rank mission to escort a bridge builder to Wave. However, they were attacked by two Chunin level assasins, the Demon Brothers. It was revealed, after we apprehended them that they work for Zabuza Momichi!" He handed Mika a file. "These are the Ninja on Team Seven, study it."
Mika staggered back. "The Second Strongest of the Seven Swordsman of the Mist? How can I help?"
The man sighed. "You are a skilled medic, and one of our only combat trained medics. You're a proven fighter as well as healer. Go to the them and give them any aid you can, Kakashi, their leader and an extremely gifted Jonin, has a low chakra pool and a transplanted sharingan. He will almost surely fall to chakra exhaustion. Go there, and ensure this team survives. Especially Naruto... for that boy alone keeps up alive."
"How so?" Mika's tone shifted, his deep seated pragmatism and professionalism taking full hold. Hospital training impossible to ignore.
"The boy is the vessel for the Nine Tailed Fox." Mika wanted to choke, but kept himself focused as he listened to the Old man. "The Bjuu are energy beings, they cannot be killed. It was placed in Naruto, to ensure we were safe long term. You must ensure he survives, less the Fox takes it's full revenge on us all."
Bowing, Mika accepted, understanding the lofty mission he was presented with. "I will do all I can and more... "
"Be sure you do. Only chunin level ninja and higher may know this secret. Do not spread it, though remember Naruto is in fact already aware of his status. Now, go, keep them all alive, but not forget your orders. GO!"
Mika moved with speed only a few could keep up with, easily picking up the trail of the others and moving toward Wave with a cold precision.
To his horror, after a few hours of solid sprinting, he sensed tremendous chakra in the air and was forced to dodge a wave of powerful water smashing through world and trees. He managed, to avoid the clear jutsu, just in time to see a man with gray hair collapse onto the ground next to Naruto Uzumaki.
Mika was there in an instant, hands glowing. "He has high chakra exhaustion, bordering on depletion... Naruto, I heard you can make shadow clones from another ninja a few weeks ago. Make some and carry Kakashi."
"Mika?" Naruto barked out. "You graduated last year, I remember you!"
"DO IT!" Mika snapped and Naruto obeyed. Turning to the other genin and the client. " Sakura, Sasuke, Tazuna, get over here. Sasuke, I expect you to watch our back, Sasuke you take the front. I will watch the center. If you sense anything, any trace of attack, speak up. Kakashi needs care, but it cannot be done so openly. Tazuna, where is a safe place."
The older man nodded. "My house, it's not far."
"Good, let's go. Each of you, give me your physical status report. Naruto, you first, how are you physically? You look rather worn. Oh, and I need to know exactly what happened here. Start, now."
By the time they reached Tazuna's home, Mika felt confident that the others were okay and spent his focus on Kakashi. First he fed him a tonic that was essentially a delicate version of a food pill and would help him recover from his chakra exhaustion faster. Then he healed his bruised ribs, cut hand and the obvious strain from the Sharingan.
Soon, the man was awake, looking at Mika. "Who are you?"

Kakashi saw a boy, with brilliant blue eyes and rather doll like features staring at him with cold care. The boy seemed younger than his kids, but had an air of power and force about him. "Mika. I am a class three medic, Lord Hokage sent me after your team after it was discovered Zabuza was working with the Demon brothers. After I evaluated you, I took charge and has them bring us here for your care. Your students are fine, a bit roughed up, but fine. I will tend to Sasuke later, he has some painful bruising I want to look at."
That relaxed Kakashi. "Good... thank you. Wait, Mika... you saved the Hyuuga girl, right? Got a field promotion."
"That would be me, yes."
"Good on you..."
The boy froze. "Now, what are we to do with the fact that Zabuza is obviously alive? I am a class three medic, I can tell you for sure he is alive. That technique, though a bit advanced, it feasible for a Hunter Ninja."
Kakashi actually groaned. "You gave me a Chakra tonic, right? I feel remarkably better." Mika nodded. "Good... we are going to need my power..."
"Look the sensei's awake." Naruto started, lifting Kakashi's soul a bit to see them alive.
Mika sighed. "I will get some tonics going, in case anyone needs more care in the future. I will be back after you get them up to speed."
"Good idea."
