Chapter 46. Unexpected hero

The days flew swiftly, merging with the weeks in a rapid whirlwind. It seemed like just yesterday it was Monday, and today it was Friday again. Harry didn't even have time to think about where time was rushing to. From morning until evening, he spent his time attending classes. In the evenings, he went to Snape's lessons and after their conclusion, he would come to the Room of Requirement. Occasionally, the school's Potions master would treat him to a potion for nervous tension - whether out of his own whim or for some mysterious kindness that emanated from the depths of his enigmatic heart. Harry couldn't even lift his eyes to the sky to feel his insignificance in the face of the infinite passage of time. The clocks ticked in the morning and in the evening, as he attentively listened to his professors during classes, and afterwards, he felt as if his life was spiraling into an endless loop. Each day was packed to the brim, like a rush of adrenaline, with one activity after another, like a train that never stops. But the weekdays were just a prelude to the weekends, during which Harry participated in Gryffindor Quidditch team competitions. News from London continued to arrive, each more horrifying than the last. And although Harry had almost grown accustomed to these horrors, the thought of returning home still filled him with a sense of something stirring under the spoon, causing his blood to freeze in his veins.

The days flew by like strange creatures, gliding through the mists of time. Harry didn't even have time to notice them until they disappeared into the bottomless abyss of the past. He spent his days battling with school assignments, fighting against the dark forces of knowledge that tried to invade his mind. In the evenings, he went to Snape's lessons, where he faced the dark forces of Legilimency. But even after lessons were over, Harry couldn't relax, because terrible news from London continued to reach him, disturbing the magical world. Death Eaters, sinister UFOs, the Jack the Dripper, and even the mysterious London monster resembling a yeti, continued to terrorize the city. Each day brought new calamities. And every time Harry thought about returning home, he felt something stirring under the spoon of his heart.

The shadow of the legendary Dark Wizard always hung over him like a thundercloud. The forces of darkness from London spread their influence across the country, like an acid mist enveloping all living things. The ghosts became more active, and the streets were filled with disgusting creatures that no one could accurately describe, as their horror didn't allow anyone to pause for a closer examination. Harry didn't know what these creatures were, but he knew for sure that they should be feared no less than Voldemort himself.

But he had friends, they were the only ones who could help him fight against the darkness that had engulfed the country. And there were lessons in the Room of Requirement, where they could confidently practice their magic and learn to fight against the encroaching darkness. Even the rare visits to the Forbidden Forest with Hagrid to see Grawp sometimes became a solace for everyone, like a lifebuoy in this dark whirlpool of horrors.

Even a small scene in the vestibule between the Weasley twins and Umbridge greatly delighted Harry as he descended the stairs to the vestibule.

"So!" triumphantly said Umbridge. Only now did Harry notice that she was standing only a few steps below him and was staring at the twins with disdain. "So! You think turning the school corridor into a swamp is funny?"

"We do, actually," said Fred, looking at her without the slightest bit of fear.

Umbridge turned to McGonagall, who had been silently watching the whole thing, and addressed her.

"Minerva! These are your students? How can you allow them..."

"I want to and I allow it," sneered McGonagall, looking down her nose at Umbridge. "Fifty points to Gryffindor for the excellent swamp on the third floor."

Triumphant Fred surveyed the gathering of students - a silent and wary crowd.

"If anyone intends to buy a portable swamp like the one displayed upstairs, feel free to visit Diagon Alley, number ninety-three, at the store 'Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes'," he said loudly. "That's our new store!"

"Special discounts for Hogwarts students who promise to use our products to get rid of this old rat," added George, gesturing towards Professor Ambridge.

In this situation, all Umbridge could do was shrug her shoulders, swallowing the air like a fish thrown from the sea onto the shore.

The following days flew by for Harry like the wind, drawing him closer and closer into the depths of life's dangers. But he was ready for the upcoming battle, despite the swirling dance in his stomach and the terrifying sensation as if an unknown bird fluttered its wings above his head, almost touching his hair.

In addition to all this, Harry was burdened by the relentless and heavy tread of exams.

Dear Harry,

How are you? I hope everything is going well and your studies at Hogwarts are progressing as they should! I wanted to express my support for all the events happening in London. It's awful that our world is being subjected to such terrifying trials. Recently, there have been rumors that Voldemort is preparing for something even more dreadful, so please be alert.

Stay strong and take care, Harry.

Your friend, Cedric.

Cedric Diggory's letter warmed Harry's heart and brought a smile to his face. He sincerely rejoiced that his Triwizard Tournament partner was doing well and even found a moment to scribble him a letter. But the news that Voldemort was preparing something even more horrible made Harry's spoon once again stir. What else would be coming?

Time passed, and with a trembling heart, Harry awaited Voldemort's next act of villainy. Exams had already started when one morning, fresh news broke.

On the night of May 18, 1996, much of London was gripped by panic as mysterious Death Eaters once again attacked innocent civilians in the city. A power crisis is intensifying in England. Defenseless victims of Jack the Ripper in the capital and sinister Death Eaters are causing fear and concern throughout the country. In an era of global catastrophes, when humanity faces threats not only from natural disasters but also from mysterious forces opposing it, a crisis of power in the country seems imminent. But even in the darkest times, people can find inspiration and strength in legends of their heroes. And it is in such difficult times that the legend has come to the aid of the people of the troubled kingdom. The power crisis in the country, the menacing UFOs, the Death Eaters, and the mysterious creature of London have all become part of the lives of ordinary people in early 1996. But amidst this chaos, a hero has emerged who was able to halt the invasion of evil and restore peace and order to the kingdom. The great hero, unseen in our country for centuries, came to our aid in this most difficult time, and that hero is the great Arthur Pendragon! Even in 1996, many centuries after his celebrated reign, his name commands respect and admiration. He stood up for his people and became the first to make the dreadful Death Eaters retreat.

None of our defenders were ready for this attack. The police and army tried to stop the enemy's advance, but their efforts proved futile. While our politicians argued about what to do in the power crisis, the great Arthur Pendragon, who returned from the depths of centuries, boldly stepped into battle, always being a legendary hero in our history.

But Arthur didn't stop there. According to eyewitness accounts, he fought against ominous UFOs, challenged Jack the Ripper, and even came face to face with a mysterious London monster resembling a yeti.

The Death Eaters had long occupied our capital and threatened to destroy all living things. But Arthur Pendragon was not afraid of the darkness or death. He alone stood up for his people, serving as an example to our military. He gathered the best among them into his new knights, willing to serve him and the people of Britain with faith and truth, and stood against the enemy with them.

The ominous UFOs appearing in the sky were no less dangerous. But nothing stopped Arthur Pendragon. The great Merlin helped bring down several UFOs, forcing the rest to retreat.

Jack the Ripper, who terrorized London, also could not withstand Arthur Pendragon. Arthur gathered the best soldiers and set off in search of Jack.

But the most frightening was the mysterious London monster, resembling a yeti and standing over two meters tall. No one knew what this creature was or how to fight it. But nothing scared Arthur Pendragon. He gathered his best wizards and set off in search of the monster. And although all this was very risky and dangerous, nothing stopped Arthur Pendragon.

As a result, thanks to the courage and determination of Arthur Pendragon, the kingdom was saved. Once again, he served as a true hero, a symbol of hope and justice for all people.

For those familiar with our history, this should not come as a surprise. Arthur Pendragon has always been famous for his heroic deeds and bravery, which are considered symbols of resistance to absolute darkness. Legends of Arthur date back to ancient times. His name has long become a symbol of courage, strength, and nobility. These qualities are currently required of a true leader in England. His energy and determination as a military leader inspire awe in soldiers and set a strong leader apart from the infamous political figures. Arthur demonstrated his best qualities as the leader of the country - he literally reads the minds of peaceful citizens throughout the kingdom and proposes a decisive reform of the stagnant state. He is fitting by rank and by destiny. Despite the difficulties and dangers, he continues his relentless journey, ready to fight for his country and his people. Legends of King Arthur have been known to people for many centuries. He was a symbol of justice, courage, and honor. And here, in 1996, when the world was on the verge of disaster, Arthur Pendragon came to our aid again, accompanied by his loyal companion Merlin.

We hope that the government of our country will not miss this moment and support the hero who has revived hope for victory among our people. Although many doubt that Arthur Pendragon exists in our time, they cannot deny his achievements and inspiring contribution to the history of mankind. It is not the first time in England's history that difficult times and trials arise. This reminds us of the legends of King Arthur, who stood up for his country in difficult times. It seems that in our time, heroes are also needed who are ready to fight for their homeland and for the restoration of order in the country. Arthur Pendragon, a true hero, has demonstrated his courage and bravery in the fight against mysterious enemies that posed a threat to the entire country. He is respected and loved by all residents of England, whom he has long served as an example and guidance. Many predict the throne for him, demanding to abandon the excessively burdensome bureaucratic machine that has shown its incompetence in a difficult time for the country.

Tonight, London witnessed a true hero, one that the entire kingdom has not seen in many generations. And perhaps, in our memory of these events, we will once again turn to the revived myth of King Arthur as a symbol of hope and valor in this dark time of power crisis. We can only hope that his example will help all remaining forces of light unite and restore peace to the country.

Let us restore faith in the power of our heritage, our history, and the heroes who protected us from evil and darkness. Let us stand against any threats that may await us in the future. Let us look at our hero, Arthur Pendragon, as a source of inspiration and the best role model to emulate. These events give people hope and inspiration that all problems, no matter how serious they may be, can be solved and overcome. In this challenging time, Arthur Pendragon has shown that a true hero exists in each of us. We just have to fight the difficulties instead of succumbing to them.

Thank you, great Arthur Pendragon, for your bravery and courage. You inspire and remind us all that everything is possible.

The article was accompanied by a multitude of photographs.

— In the first photo, Harry saw the silhouette of Arthur Pendragon standing in front of a burning building that was attacked by the Death Eaters. Arthur held his sword Excalibur in his hands, ready for battle.

— In the second photo, Arthur stood on the roof of a building, surrounded by a beam of light emanating from a UFO hanging in the sky.

— In the third picture, Arthur stood against the backdrop of Tower Bridge, where a mysterious creature was spotted. The king held his sword, ready for battle, while the blurry silhouette of the massive beast approached him.

— The fourth photo showed Arthur leading a group of soldiers fighting Jack the Ripper on the streets of London. The destroyed buildings and fires were visible around them, but Arthur and the soldiers looked determined.

— The fifth photograph depicted Arthur, standing in the foreground, holding a fearsome sword in his hand, with retreating Death Eaters visible in the background.

Harry closely examined all the photographs and noticed one important detail – he couldn't make out the celebrated king's face in detail. Even his physique remained a mystery to Harry because in each photograph, Arthur appeared either blurred – almost like a smudged spot – or out of focus. The only thing he could gather from these photos was that the legend next to the same creature was disproportionately small in stature. But even with these photographs, he couldn't help but whistle in awe, something he couldn't say about Fujimaru, who was reading the same newspaper at the teachers' table. The moment he saw it, Fujimaru choked on his pumpkin juice and even after a couple of pats on the back from Hagrid, he continued to sit at the table with a face as if the remnants of the existing world had just collapsed before his eyes.
