Month Later: Train Yard
"Watching you work will never get old." Red Hood says, smirking under his helmet as dark mist forms beside him. Then the mist reveals to be Essence who sheathes her swords and smiles lightly.
"Because it impresses you so much, Jason?" Essence questions jokingly.
The two were Star City's train yard, and took out Black Mask's Thugs that were guarding their cargo so they could give it to Black Mask. But they were stopped by the two...permanently, one might add.
"Well that and...it's hot, honestly." He says and Essence playfully smacks hits his shoulder.
"Behave, my love. After all you arranged this mission." She states and Red Hood chuckles.
"Right. Mission first. Which leads us to this..." He motions to a train car and they start walking over to it.
"A train?" She questions and Red Hood nods.
"Yeah. After I drove Black Mask out of Gotham, he decided to lay low here in Star City. Right now, he's plotting to make a comeback to Gotham. Rumors of him acquiring a powerful weapon that supposedly can't be stopped...but I won't let him use it." He explains and they stop at the train car and Red Hood takes out his crowbar and starts budging open the door.
"...You know you haven't spoken a word about what happened?" Essence says and Red Hood looks at her, while still trying to open the door.
"There's a reason for that." He says and the door opens and he slides the door to the left.
"There is still time for amends. Your family care about you, Jason. They love you. And you love them." She tells him, and Red Hood pauses a moment, before speaking.
"I know. But not now...down the line, maybe. But not now." He states and they get in the train car.
As they did, Red Hood turns to his left and his eyes widen in shock. Essence turns aswell and her expression changes to one of shock.
"Is that...him?" She questions and Red Hood steps forward, shaking his head.
"No. One of Black Mask's goon told me he was getting deep into shady stuff. Shady even for him. Said his new weapons was a "game changer" that had to do with genetics." He explains and Essence gives him a look.
"Genetics? So you're saying...he's a clone?" She asks and Red Hood nods. The angle pans to a capsule with a figure inside it. Wearing a familiar red and blue suit.
"Yeah. And right now I'm wondering..." Red Hood starts as the camera panels to the capsule and zooms on the face of the figure inside
"...Who the hell gave Black Mask a Superman clone?"

A/N: Yes, The Outlaws are happening. And they consist of Essence and Bizarro. The reasons for my choices is because I find Essence a really interesting character and thought it would be a cool idea to have a story where she and Jason are still together. As for Bizarro...I just love the big softie. At first, I never really cared for the character but once I read RHATO, I grew quite fond of him. That's my main reasoning for now. The Outlaws will be together for the rest of the book once formed. That is all for now.
