Chapter 57 Kanto League Top 64 battles
Hello everyone, this chapter will mainly focus on Ash and Ritchies battles. The first half will focus on Ritchie's battle while the second half will focus on Ash's battle. This is also a long chapter and I hope you all enjoy.
The chapter begins where the last one ended with Gecko and Accelgor clashing with Quick Attack. We see the two-mons pushing each other back and forth until they break away from each other sliding back to their respective trainer Ritchie then calls for a command.
"Gecko use Acrobatics!" Ritchie calls Gecko glows bright blue then shoots towards Accelgor going to hit it as Otoshi calls for a command.
"Accelgor use Double Team!" Otoshi calls Accelgor quickly summons multiple copies of itself letting Gecko hit a clone instead. Gecko then looks around as it sees multiple Accelgor's surrounding it Otoshi calls for his next move.
"Now Accelgor use Bug Buzz!" "Gecko use Dig to dodge!" Both trainers call Accelgor along with its clones fire the wave of green bug energy at Gecko. Before the move lands Gecko quickly digs underground successfully dodging the move the real Accelgor then goes to the hole that Gecko dug as Otoshi speaks.
"Accelgor use Signal Beam in the hole!" "Gecko use Acrobatics!" Both trainers call when Accelgor goes to use Signal Beam Gecko instantly appears out of the hole and hits Accelgor launching it high into the air. Gecko goes after it as Ritchie speaks.
"Gecko use Dragon Claw!" "Accelgor use Quick Attack to dodge!" Both trainers call Gecko reaches Accelgor and covers its claws in green dragon energy. As it goes to hit it Accelgor quickly uses Quick Attack to dodge and gets behind Gecko as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Giga Impact!" Otoshi calls before Ritchie can call for a command Accelgor quickly covers its body in an orange sphere and hits Gecko's back. The two mons then crash back down on the battlefield creating a dust cloud. When the dust clears everyone can see Gecko laying on its stomach groaning in pain while Accelgor is standing over it Otoshi then speaks.
"Now end it with Bug Buzz!" Otoshi calls when Accelgor goes to fire the move Ritchie calls for a command.
"Gecko use Low Kick!" Ritchie calls Gecko quickly kicks Accelgor making it trip forcing it to lose its concentration. Gecko then stands over Accelgor it has its claws ready as Ritchie speaks.
"Now Dragon Claw!" "Accelgor dodge with Double Team!" Both trainers call when Gecko goes to hit Accelgor the ninja bug quickly creates multiple clones of itself dodging Gecko's attack. Accelgor along with its clones then surround Gecko they all take a deep breath as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Sludge Bomb!" Otoshi calls Accelgor along with its clone's fire multiple bombs of poison sludge as they go to hit Gecko Ritchie calls for a command.
"Gecko spin around using Dragon Breath!" Ritchie calls Gecko nods it begins to spin while firing the white stream of dragon energy from its mouth that easily destroys the Sludge Bombs Ritchie then calls for his next command.
"Now Leaf Storm!" Ritchie calls Gecko stops spinning as it roars summoning a large storm of leaf's that destroy all of Accelgor's clones and sucks in the real Accelgor. Accelgor groans in pain it then sees Gecko heading towards it as Ritchie speaks.
"Now Acrobatics!" "Accelgor dodge!" Both trainers call before Accelgor can dodge Gecko glows bright blue it quickly shoots at Accelgor and begins hitting it back and forth causing super effective damage. Gecko then hits Accelgor one more time making it crash back on the battlefield landing below Otoshi's feet as the ref speaks.
"Accelgor's unable to battle Gecko the Sceptile is the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ritchie, Sparky and Gecko to cheer in the stands the group cheers as well. Otoshi returns Accelgor thanking it for battling hard Otoshi then speaks.
"You may've defeated my Accelgor but you won't defeat this one Go! Araquanid!" Otoshi calls he throws the ball forward as the large water spider appears it gets into a battle stance as Ritchie speaks.
"So, a Araquanid's next Gecko let's keep going!" Ritchie says with Gecko nodding it gets into a battle stance too the ref then calls for the battle to continue as Otoshi makes the first move.
"Araquanid use Ice beam!" Otoshi calls the water spider quickly shoots out the icy beam as Ritchie speaks.
"Gecko punch it away with Rock Smash!" Ritchie calls Gecko's right fist glows in red energy and punches the ice beam easily destroying it. When that happens Araquanid appears in front of Gecko as Otoshi speaks.
"Now use Bug Bite!" "Gecko use Detect then Dragon breath!" Both trainers call Araquanid goes to bite Gecko but the grass gecko's eye glows allowing it to jump back dodging the move. Gecko then fires the white stream of dragon energy at Araquanid as Otoshi speaks.
"Destroy it with Liquidation then use Lunge!" Otoshi calls Araquanid covers one of its legs in water and easily knocks the Dragon breath away. Araquanid glows in green bug energy it launches towards Gecko and hits it in the stomach making the grass gecko cough in pain it's sent crashing into one of the ice boulders as Ritchie speaks.
"Gecko!" Ritchie calls out to it as Gecko appears it can still battle but that lunge did hurt it Otoshi then calls for his next command.
"Use Ice Beam again!" "Gecko dodge then run forward using Swords Dance!" Both trainers call Araquanid quickly fires the icy beam, but Gecko moves to the right easily evading the move. Gecko then runs forward as it sharply increases its attack power Otoshi then speaks.
"Araquanid use Poison Jab!" "Gecko jump then use Leaf Blade!" Both trainers call Araquanid covers its legs in poison it goes to hit Gecko but the grass gecko quickly jumps in the air dodging the move. The 2 leaves on Gecko's left arm become a grassy blade Gecko falls towards Araquanid and slams the Leaf Blade on the spiders' head making it fall face first on the ice. When the dust clears everyone can see Araqaunid groaning in pain with Gecko standing over it as Ritchie speaks.
"Great job Gecko!" Ritchie says with Gecko nodding as Otoshi speaks.
"Poison Jab!" "Quick use Detect!" Both trainers call Araquanid quickly stands back up covers its right leg in poison and goes to jab Gecko. Gecko quickly uses detect and bends backwards narrowly avoiding the move. Gecko then jumps back towards Ritchie's side of the battlefield it lands and stares back at Araquanid with the water spider staring back Ritchie then begins to think.
"It can still battle after taking a Leaf Blade from Gecko if I keep Gecko in it might eventually faint, I'll need to switch" Ritchie says to himself he grabs Gecko's Pokeball and speaks.
"Gecko return!" Ritchie says with the grass gecko nodding it goes back in its Pokeball Ritchie grabs another Pokeball and speaks.
"Armor you're up next!" Ritchie says he throws the ball forward what appears is a Pokemon that looks like a bigger version of Charcadet wearing armor. When the mon makes itself known it stares at Araquanid with Araquanid staring back in the stands Ash speaks.
"Who's that Pokemon?" Ash questions he takes out his Pokedex to scan the mon.
"Armorouge the Fire Warrior Pokemon a Fire/Psychic type. This Pokémon clads itself in armor that has been fortified by psychic and fire energy, and it shoots blazing fireballs." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, that's Charcadets evolved form?" Ash asks as Brock speaks.
"Hmmm he's using a Fire/Psychic type against a Bug/Water type in terms of typing Ritchie's at a disadvantage" Brock says as Harrison speaks.
"That's true but let's see how Ritchie uses Armor" Harrison says with the group nodding they continue to look at the battlefield as Otoshi speaks.
"An Armorouge you think a Fire and Psychic type can beat my Araquanid?" Otoshi asks as Ritchie speaks.
"Yep" Ritchie responds the ref calls for the battle to continue as Otoshi calls for a command.
"Fine then Araquanid use Hydro Pump!" Otoshi calls Araquanid fires a big Hydro Pump it heads for Armor as Ritchie speaks.
"Armor stop it with Psychic!" Ritchie calls Armor's eyes glow blue it stops the psychic as it was just inches away from hitting it, Armor's eyes continue to glow blue as it easily destroys the Hydro Pump. Otoshi has a surprised look on his face as he calls for his next command.
"Araquanid use Liquidation!" Otoshi calls Araqaunid covers its right leg in water and shoots forward going to hit Armor as Ritchie speaks.
"Armor block it!" Ritchie calls as Araquanid's right arm goes to hit it Armor quickly raises its left arm and blocks Araquanid's attack. Araquanid pushes down harder but Armor holds strong Araquanid then goes to strike with its left leg as Ritchie speaks.
"Knock it away Armor!" Ritchie calls Armor swings its right arm that not only knocks away Araquanid's left leg but also makes the water spider skid back a few feet Ritchie then calls his next command.
"Now Psyshock!" Ritchie calls Armor's eyes glow blue it summons multiple psychic orbs then shoots them at Araquanid Otoshi then speaks.
"Araquanid break through them with Lunge and when you get close use Liquidation!" Otoshi calls Araquanid covers its body in green bug energy and shoots forward. Araquanid's able to easily bypass all of the Psyshock orbs and reaches Armor. Araquanid covers both of its front legs in water as it goes to hit the fire warrior Ritchie calls for a command.
"Armor use Armor Cannon!" Ritchie calls Armor quickly combines its arms together making a cannon. As Araquanid's legs are getting closer Armor fires a big blast of fire from its cannon that consumes Araquanid. The water spider cries out in pain as it's sent flying crashing through multiple ice boulders and landing below Otoshi's feet. Otoshi looks at the spider and has a shocked look on his face as the ref speaks.
"Araquanid's unable to battle Armor the Armarouge is the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ritchie, Sparky and Armor to cheer in victory in the stands Ash speaks.
"What was that move?" Ash asks as Harrison speaks.
"Armor Cannon is a powerful fire type move where Armorouge shoots out a big flame from its armor. But it also lowers the users Defense and Special Defense" Harrison says with Ash nodding back on the battlefield Armor can feel its defense and Special Defense lower as Brock speaks.
"I see the reason as to why Ritchie sent out Armor against Araquanid was so he could finish it off with Armor Cannon. But in order to do that he needed to draw Araquanid closer so he could strike" Brock says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Otoshi returns Araquanid and thanks it he looks at Ritchie and speaks.
"I now see why you send in your Armorouge I hate to admit it, but it was foolish of me for not thinking you were going to do that sooner. But I'm not done yet and this next one will help me Go! Marowak!" Otoshi says he throws the ball forward as Marowak appears it lands on the battlefield and gets in a battle stance the ref calls for the battle to continue as Otoshi makes the first move.
"Marowak use Bonemerang!" Otoshi calls Marowak quickly throws its bone forward it spins in the air going to hit Armor as Ritchie speaks.
"Armor grab it with Psychic!" Ritchie calls Armor's eyes glow it fires the psychic waves and easily stops the spinning bone. When that happens Otoshi smiles as he calls for his next command.
"Marowak Brutal Swing!" Otoshi calls Marowak holds its arm forward as its bone is covered in dark energy it breaks through the Psychic surprising Armor and Ritchie. The bone quickly spins forward and hits Armor across the face causing super effective damage. Marowak quickly runs forward it jumps in the air grabbing its bone as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Bone Rush!" Otoshi calls Marowak falls towards Armor as its about to hit it Ritchie speaks.
"Armor use Protect!" "Marowak land on the ground and use Low Kick!" Both trainers call Armor quickly summons a protective barrier going to block Marowak's attack. But Marowak lands on the ground avoiding the protect it then kicks Armor's leg making it groan in pain. When Armor gets on one knee Marowak appears in front of its face as Otoshi speaks.
"Marowak Focus Energy then Bone Rush!" Otoshi calls Marowak quickly tightens its focus it then begins to repeatedly hit Armor in the face with its bone causing super effective damage also landing many critical hits. Marowak then hits Armor one more time making it skid back. Armor then gets on one knee it sees Marowak jumping towards it as Ritchie speaks.
"Armor use Armor Cannon!" "Marowak use Screech then Bone Club!" Both trainers call before Armor can fire the move Marowak lets out a loud ear-piercing screech that hurts Armor's ears making it stop and lowering its defense. Marowak then slams its bone hard on Armor's head making it crash on the battlefield as Ritchie speaks.
"Armor!" Ritchie calls in worry when the smoke clears everyone can see Marowak standing over a knocked-out Armor the ref then speaks.
"Armor the Armorouge is unable to battle Marowak's the winner!" The ref calls Otoshi and Marowak cheer in victory while Ritchie returns Armor, he looks at the ball and speaks.
"Thank you Armor you did your best" Ritchie says he then grabs his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Go! Lapis!" Ritchie says he throws the ball forward as an Azumarill appears. When the Aqua Rabbit appears, it has a smile on its face ready to battle in the stands Misty and Giselle speak.
"It's Cute!" Both girls squeal happily Ash takes out his Pokedex to scan the mon.
"Azumarill the Aqua Rabbit Pokemon and a Water/Fairy type. This Pokémon uses its large, highly developed ears to hear great distances, even underwater." The Pokedex says back on the battlefield Otoshi speaks.
"Heh an Azumarill's next that doesn't scare us let's keep going Marowak!" Otoshi says with Marowak nodding as Ritchie speaks.
"Lapis let's get revenge for Armor!" Ritchie says with Lapis nodding it gets in a battle stance along with Marowak the ref calls for the battle to continue as Ritchie makes the first move.
"Lapis use Hydro Pump!" Ritchie calls Lapis, takes a deep breath and shoots out a big stream of water from its mouth. The move travels down the battlefield going to hit Marowak as Otoshi speaks.
"Marowak deflect it!" Otoshi calls Marowak holds its bone forward and begins to spin it. When the Hydro Pump connects Marowak continues to spin its bone and easily gets rid of the Hydro Pump. The people in the crowd are surprised but Ritchie stays focused and calls for his next command.
"Lapis use Aqua Jet!" Ritchie calls Lapis quickly covers its body in water and shoots forward successfully hitting Marowak. The bone mon coughs in pain then clinches its left fist as Otoshi speaks.
"Marowak use Thunder Punch!" Otoshi calls Marowak quickly covers its left fist in electricity and punches Lapis's stomach. The aqua rabbit coughs in pain as its sent skidding back a few feet Ritchie then calls for his next command.
"Lapis use Ice Beam!" Ritchie calls Lapis quickly fires the icy beam it goes to hit Marowak as Otoshi calls for a command.
"Marowak dodge use Swords Dance then Thunder Punch!" Otoshi calls Marowak easily dodges the icy beam it then sharply increases its attack Marowak covers its fist in electricity and shoots forward reaching Lapis in an instant. As Marowak goes to hit Lapis Ritchie calls for a command.
"Lapis back away then use Aqua Tail!" Ritchie calls Lapis quickly backs away narrowly avoiding the Thunder Punch. Lapis shoots forward covers its tail in water and slaps Marowak across the face causing super effective damage and making Marowak skid back a few feet. Lapis then takes a deep breath as Ritchie calls for a command.
"Now Hydro Pump!" "Marowak destroy it with Thunder Punch!" Both trainers call Lapis quickly fires the large stream of water at Marowak. Marowak quickly electrifies its fist and collides with the Hydro Pump. As Marowak is pushing the big stream of water back Ritchie calls for a command.
"Lapis use Aqua Jet!" Ritchie calls Lapis quickly covers its body in water and heads inside the Hydro Pump. It quickly swims inside and hits Marowak's stomach causing super effective damage and making the bone Pokemon cough in pain Ritchie then calls for his final command.
"Lapis point blank Hydro Pump!" "Dodge Marowak!" Both trainers call Marowak can't dodge in time as Lapis fires a point-blank Hydro Pump that consumes Marowak making it cry out in pain. Marowak is sent flying crashing through one of the ice boulders it falls on the ground as Otoshi speaks.
"Marowak!" Otoshi calls in worry when the dust clears everyone can see Marowak it's completely knocked out as the ref makes the call.
"Marowak is unable to battle Lapis the Azumarill is the winner!" The ref calls Ritchie, Sparky and Lapis cheer in victory and so does the crowd. Otoshi returns Marowak he's sad that it lost but tells it good job he grabs his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Zangoose Go!" Otoshi calls he throws the ball forward as a bipedal cat ferret appears. It lands on the battlefield and has a smile on its face in the stands Ash takes out his Pokedex to scan the mon.
"Zangoose the Cat Ferret Pokemon a Pure Normal Type. Zangoose usually walks around on all fours but stands on its hind legs when angry. It's very quick and can easily dodge most enemy attacks." The Pokedex says as Brock speaks.
"Hmmm Ritchie will have to be careful Zangoose are known to be very speedy Pokemon that deliver strong hits" Brock says as Harrison speaks.
"I'm sure Ritchie knows before he started his journey Ritchie made sure to study up on all of the Pokemon from the Hoenn region so I'm confident that he has a way to beat Zangoose" Harrison says with the group nodding they look back at the battlefield as Ritchie's in thought.
"Even though I know Lapis can take hits from Zangoose and it didn't take a lot of damage from Marowak it'll be better to switch" Ritchie says to himself he pulls out Lapis's Pokeball and speaks.
"Lapis return" Ritchie says with Lapis nodding the water rabbit goes back in its Pokeball Ritchie then grabs another Pokeball and speaks.
"Go Lucha!" Ritchie says he throws the ball forward as his shiny Hawlucha appears it lands on the battlefield and does a quick pose. Lucha and Zangoose stare at each other they can both feel that their opponent is strong they both get into battle stances in the stands Joe speaks.
"That's a good choice from Ritchie his Hawlucha should be able to match Zangooses speed" Joe says with the others nodding the ref calls for the battle to continue as Otoshi makes the first move.
"Zangoose Ice Beam!" Otoshi calls Zangoose quickly fires the icy beam. It travels down the battlefield going to hit Lucha as Ritchie speaks.
"Destroy it with Brick Break!" Ritchie calls Lucha's right fist glows white and chops down on the icy beam easily destroying it. When that happens Zangoose immediately appears in front of Lucha, its right fist is covered in ice as Otoshi speaks.
"Zangoose Ice Punch!" Otoshi calls before Ritchie can make a command Zangoose punches Lucha across the face causing super effective damage. Lucha looks at Zangoose it clinches its right fist as Ritchie speaks.
"Lucha use Drain Punch!" Ritchie calls Lucha's fist glows and successfully punches Zangoose hard in the stomach. Zangoose coughs in pain as it's sent flying crashing into one of the ice boulders, Lucha then feels the damage it took from the Ice Punch heal Ritchie then calls for his next move.
"Now use Focus Blast!" Ritchie calls Lucha puts its hands together creating an orange ball of fighting energy. Lucha then shoots it at Zangoose Otoshi quickly makes a command.
"Zangoose dodge then run forward while using Swords Dance!" Otoshi calls Zangoose nods it quickly jumps to the left easily evading the Focus Blast. Zangoose then starts running towards Lucha while sharply raising its attack power as Ritchie speaks.
"Lucha use Swords Dance then High Jump Kick!" "Zangoose counter with Crush Claw!" Both trainers call Lucha sharply raises its attack power its right leg glows red then shoots forward. Zangoose covers its claws in red energy it then jumps forward as it and Lucha collide. The two mons begin to try pushing each other back they keep going for a little bit until they back away from each other as Ritchie speaks.
"Lucha use High Jump Kick again!" Ritchie calls Lucha instantly shoots forward as it goes to hit Zangoose Otoshi smirks and speaks.
"Zangoose use Detect!" Otoshi calls Zangoose bends backwards easily avoiding the move surprising Ritchie and Lucha as Otoshi speaks.
"Now use Hyper Beam!" Otoshi calls before Ritchie can make a command Zangoose fires the big orange blast. It consumes Lucha sending it soaring high into the air. Zangoose jumps after Lucha and reaches it in an instant it has its claws ready as Otoshi speaks.
"Now use Crush Claw!" "Lucha block!" Both trainers call Zangooses right claw glows red it goes to hit Lucha, but the bird quickly brings up its wings blocking the move. Lucha is then sent crashing back down on the battlefield landing on its back. Lucha groans in pain the lucha bird then sees Zangoose falling towards it as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Ice Punch!" "Lucha dodge then use Acrobatics!" Both trainers call Zangoose covers its fist in ice it goes to hit Lucha but the bird quickly stands up and successfully backs away dodging the move. Zangoose then punches the ground, when Lucha lands its body glows blue and flies forward as it goes to hit Zangoose Otoshi speaks.
"Zangoose use Detect then Ice Punch!" Otoshi calls Zangooses eye slightly glows it quickly backs away as Lucha was just inches away from hitting it. Zangoose then covers its left fist in ice and punches Lucha hard in the stomach making the lucha bird cough in pain as it's sent crashing into a nearby ice boulder Ritchie then speaks.
"Lucha!" Ritchie calls in worry when the smoke clears everyone can see Lucha it can still battle but is panting heavily. The lucha bird glares at Zangoose who has a smile on its face back in the stands Joe speaks.
"If things keep going like this Lucha will go down" Joe says as Giselle speaks.
"What can Ritchie do?" Giselle questions as Harrison speaks.
"Don't worry Ritchie will think of something" Harrison says the group look at him as Misty speaks.
"What makes you sure?" Misty asks as Harrison speaks.
"Because I've known him for a good majority of my life and I'm sure you guys already know but no matter how tough the challenge is he won't give up" Harrison responds having a confident smile on his face with the group nodding they look at the battlefield and see that Ritchie is in thought.
"I wasn't expecting this Zangoose to be so strong I was hoping that Lucha would be superior with its speed and while that is the case Lucha being faster doesn't matter as long as Zangoose has Detect allowing it to avoid Lucha's attacks what should I do?" Ritchie says to himself as he begins to think of an idea. A few seconds later he thinks of something, smiles and speaks.
"Yes, that should work" Ritchie says to himself he looks at Lucha and speaks.
"Lucha I've just thought of an idea this is where our counterattack begins!" Ritchie says with Lucha nodding in agreement as Otoshi speaks.
"It doesn't matter what Idea you think of your Hawlucha is going down Zangoose use Ice Beam!" Otoshi calls Zangoose quickly fires the icy beam as Ritchie speaks.
"Lucha use Rockslide!" Ritchie calls Lucha summons multiple large boulders and shoots them forward. The large boulders easily destroy the ice beam as they're about to hit Zangoose Otoshi speaks.
"Zangoose jump in the air!" Otoshi calls Zangoose quickly jumps high in the air avoiding the large boulders. When it does it sees Lucha flying towards it as Ritchie speaks.
"Now Acrobatics!" "Zangoose use Detect!" Both trainers call Lucha glows blue it speeds up going to hit Zangoose, but Zangooses eye glows allowing it to easily dodge Lucha's attack making the bird fly pass it. Zangoose then opens its mouth as Otoshi speaks.
"Now use Ice Beam!" Otoshi calls Zangoose quickly fires the icy beam. It heads for Lucha going to hit it as Ritchie speaks.
"Lucha use Bounce to dodge!" Ritchie calls Lucha quickly shoots up high in the air narrowly avoiding the Ice Beam. Everyone sees just how high up Lucha's going as Ritchie speaks.
"Now use Swords Dance then Sky Attack!" Ritchie calls Lucha sharply increases its attack power it then glows in a golden aura and falls towards Zangoose Otoshi then speaks.
"Zangoose use Hyper Beam!" Otoshi calls Zangoose quickly fires the big orange blast upward. Lucha and the Hyper Beam collide in the air Lucha then begins to easily cut through the blast surprising everyone. Lucha keeps going until it breaks out of the Hyper Beam, surprising Zangoose. Lucha's also showcasing its chest as Ritchie speaks.
"Lucha use Flying Press!" "Zangoose Detect!" Both trainers call Zangoose doesn't have time to use Detect as Lucha's body becomes purple and hits Zangoose in the face. Lucha and Zangoose begin falling from the sky at an incredible speed until they crash back down on the battlefield creating an explosion and a big gust of wind that almost blows Ritchie, Sparky and Otoshi away but they all stand their ground. Otoshi looks at the battlefield and yells.
"Zangoose!" Otoshi calls in worry when the smoke clears and the wind goes away everyone looks at the battlefield they see Lucha standing but panting heavily while Zangoose is laying on its back knocked out the ref then speaks.
"Zangoose is unable to battle Lucha's the winner!" The ref calls Ritchie, Sparky and Lucha let out a loud cheer in victory (with Lucha doing a victory pose) the crowd claps for them as well in the stands Brock speaks.
"I see since Ritchie had Lucha use Acrobatics knowing Zangoose would use Detect and Ice Beam. Ritchie then had Lucha use Bounce to instantly shoot it high in the air to dodge which in turn would allow Lucha to use Swords Dance and charge up Sky Attack. Then once Lucha passed through the Hyper Beam it surprised Zangoose giving it no time to use Detect and gave Lucha the chance to finish off Zangoose with Flying Press" Brock says with the group nodding as Giselle speaks.
"You know I forgot just how skilled Ritchie is when it comes to battle" Giselle says as Harrison speaks.
"That's Ritchie for ya I knew he would've thought of something" Harrison says while smiling. Ash looks at Ritchie, he's impressed by the strategy he did and smiles. Back on the battlefield Otoshi is sad that Zangoose was defeated he then re-collects himself and returns the mon back to its Pokeball back in the stands Joe speaks.
"And now Otoshi has one Pokemon left" Joe says as Misty speaks.
"I wonder what it could be?" Misty questions back on the battlefield Otoshi begins to think.
"This is it my final Pokemon I may be at a disadvantage right now but with this one I'll win" Otoshi says to himself he grabs his final Pokeball and speaks.
"Go! Snorlax!" Otoshi says he throws the ball high into the air as a Snorlax appears. The sleeping Pokemon lands on the battlefield shaking it and lets out a mighty roar sending out a shockwave that blows Lucha back a couple of feet. Ritchie looks at the mon and speaks.
"So, a Snorlax is his last Pokemon and it looks tough" Ritchie says to himself he continues to look at Snorlax the sleeping mon stops roaring it looks at Lucha and gets in a battle stance with Lucha doing the same in the stands Ash speaks.
"I wasn't expecting a Snorlax to be his final Pokemon" Ash says with the others nodding back on the battlefield Otoshi looks at Snorlax and speaks.
"Snorlax let's get revenge for our fallen team members!" Otoshi says with Snorlax roaring in agreement as Ritchie speaks.
"Let's go Lucha!" "Pika!" Ritchie and Sparky cheer on Lucha with the Lucha bird nodding. It stares at its opponent as the ref calls for the battle to continue Ritchie makes the first move.
"Lucha use High Jump Kick!" Ritchie calls Lucha roars, it covers its right leg in red energy and shoots forward going to hit Snorlax as Otoshi speaks.
"Snorlax use Protect!" Otoshi calls Snorlax summons a protective barrier blocking Lucha's attack. When the barrier goes down Snorlax clinches its right fist as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Mega Punch!" Otoshi calls before Ritchie can make a command Snorlax's right fist glows and punches Lucha hard in the stomach. The lucha bird coughs in pain as it's sent flying crashing below Ritchie's feet as the boy looks at it and speaks.
"Lucha!" Ritchie calls in worry when the smoke clears everyone looks at Lucha it's laying on its back having no signs of standing back up as the ref speaks.
"Lucha the Hawlucha is unable to battle Snorlax is the winner!" The ref calls Otoshi and Snorlax cheer in victory while Ritchie returns Lucha to its Pokeball. Ritchie looks at the ball telling Lucha thank you he grabs his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Lapis come on out!" Ritchie calls he throws the ball forward as Lapis appears back on the battlefield ready to battle the ref calls for the battle to continue as Ritchie makes the first move.
"Lapis use Aqua Jet!" Ritchie calls Lapis covers its body in water it shoots forward going to hit Snorlax as Otoshi speaks.
"Use Thunder Punch!" "Lapis dodge then use Superpower!" Both trainers call Snorlax covers its fist in electricity it goes to punch Lapis, but the Aqua Bunny dodges the move. Lapis appears on Snorlax's right side its body glows red then bulks up as it goes to hit Snorlax Otoshi speaks.
"Snorlax dodge then use Thunder Punch!" Otoshi calls Snorlax quickly backs away making Lapis miss. Lapis then looks at Snorlax it sees the sleeping Pokemon covering its left fist in electricity before Ritchie can make a command Snorlax punches Lapis across the face causing super effective damage and making Lapis fly a few feet away then crash on the battlefield as Ritchie speaks.
"Lapis!" Ritchie calls in worry he looks at the battlefield and sees Lapis standing back up it's groaning in pain but can still battle as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Snorlax end it with Heavy Slam!" "Lapis dodge!" Both trainers call Snorlax covers its body in steel energy it jumps forward going to hit Lapis. Lapis tries to get out of the way but can't because of the paralysis which surprises Ritchie. Snorlax then slams its body down on Lapis creating an explosion, when the smoke clears Snorlax stands up as under it lays a knocked-out Lapis the ref then makes the call.
"Lapis the Azumarill is unable to battle Snorlax is the winner!" The ref calls Otoshi and Snorlax smile. Ritchie returns Lapis to its Pokeball he grabs his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Go! Gecko!" Ritchie says he throws the ball forward as his Sceptile comes back out. Gecko is still groaning in pain from its battles with Accelgor and Araquanid but will still do its best the ref calls for the battle to continue as Ritchie makes the first move.
"Gecko use Swords Dance then Acrobatics!" Ritchie calls Gecko roars it sharply raises its attack power glows blue then shoots forward reaching Snorlax in an instant. As it goes to hit Snorlax Otoshi calls for a command.
"Snorlax Ice Beam!" "Gecko use Detect!" Both trainers call Snorlax fires the icy beam while Gecko uses detect and narrowly dodges the move by doing a back flip. When Gecko dodges it sees Snorlax starting to charge up a Hyper Beam as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Hyper Beam!" Gecko dodge!" Both trainers call Gecko's unable to dodge in time as Snorlax fires the orange blast consuming Gecko. The grass Gecko is sent flying pass Ritchie and Sparky it keeps going until it hits the wall behind them. Ritchie and Sparky look at Gecko they see it fall on the ground as Ritchie speaks.
"Gecko!" Ritchie calls out to it but doesn't get a response as Gecko has its eyes closed and has no intention to continue as the ref speaks.
"Gecko the Sceptile is unable to battle Snorlax is the winner!" The ref calls Otoshi and Snorlax cheer in victory. In the stands the group is surprised that Gecko lost as Misty speaks.
"I can't believe he defeated Gecko that easily" Misty says as Joe speaks.
"Yeah, back on the SS. Anne it took down all 4 of Hilbert's Pokemon and gave Ash a hard time. Seeing it go down quickly is surprising" Joe says as Brock speaks.
"That just shows you how strong his opponent is" Brock says as Harrison speaks.
"And don't forget Gecko was already pretty warned out from its battles with Accelgor and Araquanid so it going down quickly shouldn't be too surprising" Harrison says with the group nodding as Giselle speaks.
"And now just like Otoshi Ritchie also has one Pokemon left" Giselle says as Ash speaks.
"Whoever Ritchie's last Pokemon is it'll need to be able to take hits from Snorlax's attacks" Ash says with the group nodding they turn back to the battlefield and see Ritchie return Gecko to its Pokeball he looks at the ball and speaks.
"Thank you, Gecko you did great take a good rest," Ritchie says he puts the ball back on his belt as Sparky speaks.
"Pika" Sparky says its sparks its cheeks wanting to battle Ritchie looks at the yellow mouse and speaks.
"I know you want to battle Sparky but I've to use the Pokemon I already registered. Don't worry I won't lose" Ritchie says with Sparky nodding as Otoshi speaks.
"It's come to this we both have two Pokemon left but no matter who your last Pokemon is my Snorlax will win!" Otoshi states with his Snorlax roaring in agreement Ritchie smiles and speaks.
"I'm not so sure about that you see my last Pokemon is also a powerhouse and will win this battle. Now Tony, I Choose You!" Ritchie says he throws the ball high in the air the ball opens as his shiny Incineroar appears. The Heel Pokemon lands on the battlefield and lets out a mighty roar creating a big shockwave that blows Snorlax back a few feet. When Tony stops roaring it gets in a battle stance with Snorlax doing the same as Otoshi speaks.
"So, his last one is an Incineroar" Otoshi says as in the stands Joe speaks.
"An Incineroar is Ritchie's last Pokemon" Joe says as Giselle speaks.
"I wonder if it can take down Snorlax?" Giselle questions as Ash speaks.
"Don't worry it can after I battled it, it showed amazing strength and I feel as though it's a lot stronger than last time" Ash says with Pikachu, Riolu and Froakie nodding. Giselle along with Joe look at them, they nod then turn their heads back to the battlefield along with Brock, Misty and Harrison. Back on the battlefield Ritchie looks at Tony and speaks.
"This is it Tony let's get revenge for Lucha, Lapis and Gecko!" "Pika!" Ritchie and Sparky cheer with Tony roaring in agreement as the ref speaks.
"Both trainers have one Pokemon left whoever defeats their opponents Pokemon first will be declared the winner. If both trainers are ready, you may now begin!" The ref calls when he does Ritchie, Otoshi, Tony and Snorlax stare at each other in silence waiting to see who'll make the first move. A few seconds later they all feel a wind breeze go by as both trainers call for their commands.
"Snorlax use Hyper Beam!" "Tony destroy it with Fire Punch!" Both trainers call Snorlax quickly fires the big orange blast. It travels down the battlefield going to hit Tony, but the Heel Pokemon heats up its left fist and punches the blast. Tony struggles for a little bit but ultimately destroys the blast, when it does Snorlax appears having its fist ready as Otoshi speaks.
"Now High Horsepower!" "Tony catch its fist!" Both trainers call Snorlax's body gets an orange outline it goes to punch Tony with its right fist but Tony catches it with its left hand. Snorlax then goes to hit Tony with its left fist but Tony catches it with its right hand. The two mons are now locked in a grapple trying to overpower each other. As they continue their grapple Snorlax begins to overpower Tony slowly pushing it down Ritchie notices and calls for a command.
"Tony let go of Snorlax use Bulk Up then Mega Punch!" Ritchie calls Tony nods it quickly let's go of Snorlax making it stumble forward almost making it trip. Tony then gets on Snorlax's left side it quickly bulks up its body increasing its attack/defense. Tony's right fist glows and successfully punches Snorlax across the face making the sleeping mon groan in pain. Snorlax then clinches its right fist as Otoshi speaks.
"Use High Horsepower!" Otoshi calls Snorlax punches Tony hard across the face causing super effective damage. Tony groans from pain but clinches its fist along with Snorlax as both trainers call for their next command.
"Tony keep using Mega Punch!" "Snorlax keep using High Horsepower!" Both trainers call Tony and Snorlax roar as they begin punching each other repeatedly. They both land multiple hits on each other with each punch hurting more than the last. They punch each other in the face one more time then skid away from each other Otoshi then calls for his next command.
"Now use Stone Edge!" Otoshi calls Snorlax stomps its foot on the battlefield it summons large sharp stones that head for Tony as Ritchie speaks.
"Tony jump in the air to dodge!" Ritchie calls Tony quickly jumps high in the air dodging the sharp stones. When it does Tony sees Snorlax it's curled in a ball heading for it as Otoshi speaks.
"Now Rollout!" "Tony block!" Both trainers call when Snorlax goes to hit Tony the Heel Pokemon quickly brings up its arms blocking Snorlax's attack. The two mons then fall back down on the battlefield and skid away from each other. Snorlax curls back into a ball it continues to roll towards Tony as Ritchie speaks.
"Tony dodge!" Ritchie calls Tony quickly jumps over Snorlax dodging the move. Tony then lands back on the battlefield, it looks at Snorlax and sees it rolling towards it again as Otoshi calls for his next command.
"Now Snorlax use Body Press!" Otoshi calls Snorlax jumps in the air it uncurls and has its chest showing. As it goes to crash on Tony Ritchie calls for a command.
"Tony use Double Team then Focus Punch!" Ritchie calls Tony quickly summons multiple clones of itself. Snorlax comes crashing down hitting one of Tony's clones instead creating an explosion. Snorlax then stands up it tries looking for the real Tony as Otoshi speaks.
"Snorlax behind you!" Otoshi calls Snorlax turns around and sees Tony concentrating a lot of power in its right fist Otoshi then speaks.
"Snorlax High Horsepower!" "Tony dodge then land the Focus Punch!" Both trainers call Snorlax roars it quickly goes to hit Tony with High Horsepower but Tony dodges by moving to the left. Tony's right fist glows more intensely as it's now fully charged the Focus Punch, Tony then punches Snorlax hard in the stomach. Snorlax coughs in pain as it's sent soaring away from Tony and crashes on the battlefield laying on its back groaning in pain as Ritchie speaks.
"Tony run forward then jump using Bulk Up and finish it off with Heat Crash!" Ritchie calls Tony shoots forward it then jumps high in the air increasing its attack/defense more. Tony then covers its body in fire it has its chest wide open and falls towards Snorlax as Otoshi speaks.
"SNORLAX DODGE!" "GO! TONY!" "PIKA!" Both trainers along with Sparky yell. Snorlax tries to dodge but doesn't have time, Tony roars and crashes down on Snorlax creating a big explosion as Otoshi yells.
"SNORLAX!" Otoshi yells in worry when the smoke clears everyone sees Tony it's standing but panting heavily. Below Tony is Snorlax who's unconscious the ref makes the call.
"Snorlax is unable to battle Tony the Incineroar is the winner. Seeing as contestant Otoshi has no more Pokemon left this means that contestant Ritchie from Littleroot Town is the victor and will move on to the next round!" The ref calls Ritchie, Sparky and Tony smile and speak.
"ALRIGHT!" "PIKA!" "ROAR!" Ritchie, Sparky and Tony let out a loud cheer as the crowd claps for them. Ritchie and Sparky quickly run on the battlefield they make it to Tony and give the Heel Pokemon a hug with Tony returning it. Back in the stands Misty speaks.
"It was touch and go there but Ritchie came out on top" Misty says as Harrison speaks.
"Yep, but I knew Ritchie was going to win in the end" Harrison says while smiling with the group nodding. Ash looks at Ritchie, he smiles and is excited to battle him again. Back on the battlefield Otoshi has a surprised look on his face he wasn't expecting to lose. Even though it's frustrating he lets out a sigh and walks on to the battlefield making it to Snorlax. He bends down looking at Snorlax and speaks.
"Hey Snorlax, are you okay?" Otoshi asks Snorlax looks at its trainer saying sorry it lost but Otoshi tells Snorlax that it along with its other Pokemon did great with Snorlax nodding. Otoshi then helps Snorlax stand back up they notice Ritchie (Sparky's on his shoulder) and Tony walk over to them. When they get close enough Ritchie looks at them and speaks.
"That was a fun battle thank you and let's battle again one day" Ritchie says smiling while holding out his hand Otoshi looks at him he smiles takes Ritchie's hand and speaks.
"I enjoyed it too and I look forward to battling you again one day as well" Otoshi responds the two boys shake hands while Tony and Snorlax fist bump the crowd then clap for them again. 2 minutes later back in the trainer hall Ritchie meets up with the group who congratulate him Ritchie looks at Harrison and speaks.
"So, what'd you think of my battle?" Ritchie asks as Harrison speaks.
"It was great you've really gotten stronger Ritchie" Harrison responds with Ritchie nodding everyone then hear a voice.
"Will Ash and Jeanette please come to the battlefield!" The voice on the speaker says as Ash speaks.
"Alright it's my turn" Ash says having an excited look on his face everyone tells him good luck with Ash nodding. Ash along with Pikachu, Riolu and Froakie then leave going to the battlefield.
5 minutes later Ash accompanied with Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie and Floragato have made it to the battlefield. Ash is currently waiting for his opponent on the other side of the battlefield when suddenly a red carpet appears. Everyone's confused at first as they then see a teen girl around Brock's age wearing a kimono. She's walking out of the hall while a man showers her with Cherry blossoms as the announcer speaks.
"In this corner we've the popular Jeanette from Crimson City!" The announcer says as out of nowhere a cheer squad appears cheering on Jeanette the crowd then lets out a loud cheer in the stands Misty speaks.
"So that's Jeanette" Misty says as Giselle speaks.
"Hmph, she doesn't look all that special Ashy Kins can easily beat her" Giselle says as Brock and Joe speak.
"She's pretty" The two boys say while blushing making Misty and Giselle face palm while Leaf, Ritchie, Harrison, Jackie and AJ chuckle. Back on the battlefield Jeanette has made it to her side of the battlefield she looks at Ash and speaks.
"I've watched your battles and while I'm impressed by your skill, I'm confident that I'll easily take you down" Jeanette says while having a confident look on her face and holding a Pokeball forward as Ash speaks.
"Oh yeah? We'll see about that" Ash responds as he also holds a Pokeball forward the ref then speaks.
"This is a 5v5 Pokemon battle whoever knocks out all of their opponents Pokemon first will be declared the winner. If both trainers are ready, please send out your first Pokemon!" The ref calls as both trainers throw their Pokeball's forward and speak.
"Scyther I choose you!" "Go Scyther!" Both trainers call the two mantis Pokemon appear they look at each other and get into battle stances. In the stands Misty speaks.
"So, it's a battle between Scyther's first" Misty says as Brock speaks.
"This should be an interesting battle" Brock says with the group nodding. Somewhere in the stands we see Gary and Paul; (Not sitting together) they're also watching the battle too as the ref speaks.
"Now that both trainers have sent in their first Pokemon you may now begin!" The ref calls as the two trainers speak.
"Use Air Slash!" Ash and Jeanette call the two Scyther's roar their wings glow as they fire multiple slashes of wind. The attacks collide creating multiple explosions and a smoke screen. Out of the explosion comes Jeanette's Scyther it has its Scythes ready as Jeanette speaks.
"Scyther use Slash!" "Counter with your Slash!" Both trainers call both mantis clash with their scythes. They begin to try pushing each other back as Ash and Jeanette call for their next command.
"Use Slash again!" Both trainers call the two Scyther go to hit each other again but clash they fight for dominance for a little bit then back away from each other Jeanette then calls for her next command.
"Scyther use Air Slash!" Jeanette calls Scyther quickly fires the slashes of wind as it goes to hit Ash's Scyther Ash calls for a command.
"Scyther use Double Team to dodge!" Ash calls Scyther quickly summons multiple clones allowing it to easily dodge the slashes of wind letting the clones get hit as Jeanette calls for her next command.
"Now Aerial Ace!" "Block Scyther!" Both trainers call Jeanette's Scyther shoots forward at incredible speed going to hit Ash's Scyther. Ash's Scyther quickly brings up its scythes and successfully blocks the attack. Jeanette's Scyther tries to push Ash's Scyther back, but the mantis stands strong and pushes Jeanette's Scyther away making it spin out of control as Ash speaks.
"Now Air Slash!" Ash calls Scyther quickly fires the slashes of wind as Jeanette speaks.
"Scyther Steel Wing then Aerial Ace!" Jeanette calls Scyther's wings glow in steel energy it flies forward and easily goes through the slashes of wind. Scyther then speeds up going fast as it goes to hit Ash's Scyther Ash makes a command.
"Scyther use Double Team then Swords Dance!" Ash calls just when Jeanette's Scyther is just inches away from hitting Ash's. Ash's Scyther quickly summons a clone letting it get hit instead, Ash's Scyther then sharply raises its attack power. It quickly gets behind Jeanette's Scyther having its scythes ready as Ash speaks.
"Now use Slash!" "Scyther dodge!" Both trainers call Jeanette's Scyther's unable to dodge in time as Ash's Scyther quickly slashes it causing a lot of damage. Jeanette's Scyther groans in pain, it falls on the ground knocked out as the ref speaks.
"Jeanette's Scyther is unable to battle Ash's Scyther is the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash along with his Pokemon to cheer. Jeanette's surprised that her Scyther got defeated quickly she returns it to its Pokeball saying thank you. Jeanette then grabs another Pokeball and speaks.
"Go Gigalith!" Jeanette throws the ball forward as what appears is a four-legged Pokemon that looks similar to Boldore. The mon lets out a mighty roar creating a shockwave Ash takes out his Pokedex to scan it.
"Gigalith the Compressed Pokemon a Pure Rock type and the evolved form of Boldore. Gigalith's attacks, using the compressed energy from its core, are powerful enough to destroy a mountain." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"The evolved form of Boldore huh it looks to be very bulky I should switch for now" Ash says to himself he pulls out Scyther's Pokeball and speaks.
"Scyther return" Ash says with Scyther nodding the mantis goes back in its Pokeball as Jeanette speaks.
"Switching out Pokemon already? What are you scared that my Gigalith will defeat your Scyther" Jeanette asks having a confident look on her face as Ash speaks.
"No, I just feel this Pokemon would be a better fit to go against Gigalith, Lee, I choose you!" Ash responds he throws the ball forward as his Fighting breed Tauros appears. Lee appears on the battlefield and roars sending out a shockwave in the stands Brock speaks.
"Ash is sending in Lee that's a good choice" Brock says with the others nodding Misty, Giselle, Leaf and Jackie begin to cheer on Ash back on the battlefield Jeanette speaks.
"Hmph just because you've sent in a Fighting type doesn't mean you're going to win my Gigalith has battled many fighting type Pokemon before and has defeated them. I'm confident that Gigalith will crush your Tauros" Jeanette says while having a confident look on her face as her cheerleaders' cheer for her. Ash then smirks the ref calls for the battle to continue as Jeanette makes the first move.
"Gigalith use Stone Edge!" Jeanette calls Gigalith roars as it stomps on the battlefield summoning multiple sharp rocks they head toward Lee as Ash makes a command.
"Lee dodge use Bulk Up then Iron Head!" Ash calls Lee moves to the right dodging the sharp stones. Lee begins to run forward increasing its attack/defense it then covers its head in steel energy as it goes to hit Gigalith Jeanette calls for a command.
"Gigalith Rock Smash!" Jeanette calls Gigalith covers its right leg in red energy and collides with Lee. The two mons begin pushing each other back fighting to see who's stronger. A few seconds later Lee's able to knock Gigalith's leg away and hits Gigalith causing super effective damage and making the mon skid back as Ash calls for his next command.
"Now Lee use Earthquake!" Ash calls Lee roars it stomps its feet on the battlefield causing it to shake. As it's about to hit Gigalith Jeanette calls for a command.
"Gigalith use Protect!" Jeanette calls Gigalith roars summoning a protective barrier successfully blocking the Earthquake. When the shaking stops and the barrier goes down Lee appears right in front of Gigalith which shocks the mon and Jeanette as Ash calls for his next command.
"Lee use Bulk Up then Close Combat!" "Gigalith Double Team!" Both trainers call before Gigalith can use Double Team Lee roars quickly increasing its attack/defense. Lee then begins to hit Gigalith repeatedly with its horns making Gigalith cry out in pain. Lee turns around and kicks Gigalith away with its hind legs making Gigalith skid back. Gigalith begins to pant heavily as Jeanette calls for her next command.
"Gigalith use Stone Edge!" "Jump Lee!" Both trainers call Gigalith roars it stomps its feet on the ground summoning the large sharp stones. They head for Lee going to hit it, but Lee quickly jumps high in the air dodging the move. Lee then begins to fall towards Gigalith as Ash calls for a command.
"Lee use Raging Bull!" Ash calls Lee roars its horns/body glow in orange fighting energy and continues falling towards Gigalith as Jeanette calls for a command.
"Gigalith use Hyper Beam!" Jeanette calls Gigalith roars it points its head upward and fires the big orange blast at Lee as Ash speaks.
"Break through that Lee!" Ash calls Lee lets out a loud roar as it and the Hyper Beam collide. Lee struggles for a little bit but then begins to easily push through the orange beam until it breaks through which shocks Jeanette and Gigalith as Ash speaks.
"GO!" Ash cheers along with Pikachu, Riolu, Froakie and Floragato. Lee roars as it successfully hits Gigalith causing an explosion. When the dust clears everyone can see Lee it's standing over an unconscious Gigalith the ref then speaks.
"Gigalith's unable to battle Lee the Tauros is the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash and his Pokemon to cheer. The crowd cheers for them as well Ash then looks at Lee and speaks.
"Great job Lee, I knew you could do it!" Ash says happily with the bull nodding. Back in the stands Ash's friends cheer happily for him as well. Jeanette then returns her Gigalith telling it thank you she pulls out her next Pokeball and speaks.
"Go Swanna!" Jeanette calls she throws the ball forward as her Swanna appears. The swan Pokemon flies in the air for a little bit until it lands on the battlefield and stares at Lee with Lee staring back. Ash looks at the bird and begins to think.
"So, a Swanna's next even though Lee didn't take any damage from Gigalith it would be best to switch Lee out" Ash says to himself he pulls out Lee's Pokeball and speaks.
"Lee return" Ash says with the bull nodding it goes back in its Pokeball as Ash grabs another Pokeball and speaks.
"Grovyle I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as the grass gecko appears. Grovyle puts its stick in its mouth then gets in a battle stance. Everyone's surprised that Ash sent in Grovyle, in the stands Jackie speaks.
"Ash is using his Grovyle next that's a bad match up when it comes to typing" Jackie says as Brock speaks.
"True but Ash's Grovyle does have moves where it can damage Jeanette's Swanna" Brock says as Ritchie speaks.
"Yeah, it's also pretty fast too" Ritchie says with Jackie nodding Misty, Giselle, Leaf, Joe, AJ and Harrison begin to cheer on Ash. Back on the battlefield Jeanette is surprised about Ash's choice and speaks.
"You're sending in a grass type against my flying type? that's a bad move on your part" Jeanette says as Ash speaks.
"Nah I don't think so my Grovyle has some tricks up its sleeves" Ash responds with Grovyle nodding. Jeanette smirks the ref calls for the battle to continue as Jeanette speaks.
"Let's see how you deal with this Swanna use Hurricane!" Jeanette calls Swanna flies in the air and begins flapping its wings fast creating a large Hurricane as Ash speaks.
"Grovyle use Aerial Ace and dive into the Hurricane!" Ash calls Grovyle's body glows blue it dives into the Hurricane begins to spin inside it then shoots forward hitting Swanna in the stomach knocking it to the ground in the stands Joe speaks.
"Hey, isn't that the strategy Ritchie and Kiawe used back in the SS. Anne Tournament?" Joe asks with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield Swanna is laying on its back groaning in pain Grovyle stands over the bird it gets its right arm ready as Ash speaks.
"Grovyle use Leaf Blade!" Ash calls the 3 leaves' on Grovyle's right arm turn into a grassy blade. As Grovyle goes to hit Swanna Jeanette calls for a command.
"Swanna use Ice Beam!" Jeanette calls Swanna quickly fires the icy beam which hits Grovyle in the face making the grass gecko back away. Swanna then flies back in the air as Jeanette speaks.
"That little trick you did surprised me, but I won't fall for that again. Swanna use Air Slash!" Jeanette calls Swanna's wings glow as it begins to fire the slashes of wind at Grovyle Ash then speaks.
"Grovyle use Quick Attack to dodge!" Ash calls Grovyle starts running around the battlefield doing its best to dodge the slashes of wind as Jeanette speaks.
"Now Aerial Ace!" "Grovyle counter with your Aerial Ace!" Both trainers call Swanna and Grovyle shoot at each other and collide creating an explosion. The two mons back away from each other as Jeanette speaks.
"Now use Hurricane!" Jeanette calls Swanna begins to quickly flap its wings which summon a large Hurricane it heads for Grovyle as Ash speaks.
"Grovyle use Quick Attack to run away from the Hurricane!" Ash calls Grovyle begins to quickly run from the Hurricane. As it's running away, Swanna instantly appears in front of the gecko which surprises it and Ash as Jeanette speaks.
"Now use Aerial Ace!" "Block Grovyle!" Both trainers call Swanna shoots forward while Grovyle quickly brings up its arms. Grovyle successfully blocks Swanna's attack, but it's then sent backwards and gets sucked inside the Hurricane. Grovyle begins spinning very fast in the Hurricane the move is causing super effective damage. The Hurricane disappears Grovyle then falls on the ground groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Grovyle!" Ash calls in worry as Jeanette speaks.
"Hah now it's time we end this Swanna Brave Bird!" Jeanette calls Swanna roars, it flies toward Grovyle it covers its body in fire then becomes a shiny blue. As Swanna's about to hit Grovyle Ash speaks.
"Grovyle look out!" Ash calls Grovyle sees the incoming Swanna it doesn't have time to dodge as Swanna comes crashing down creating an explosion. A few seconds later Swanna appears out of the explosion it takes some recoil damage but is overall fine it flies in the air as Jeanette speaks.
"Hahahahaha looks like I win this round" Jeanette says happily while her cheering squad happily cheer for her. Ash looks at Swanna flying in the air he notices something smiles and speaks.
"Sorry to tell you this but the battle isn't over, yet Grovyle can still battle" Ash says as Jeanette speaks.
"Please tell me you're joking there's no way your Grovyle could've survived that" Jeanette responds when the smoke clears everyone looks at the battlefield but don't see Grovyle. Jeanette gets a surprised look on her face as she speaks.
"Wait where's Grovyle?" Jeanette says while looking for the gecko. She then looks at Ash who's smiling while pointing at Swanna. At first Jeanette's confused she looks up in the air watching Swanna fly around she then notices that Swanna isn't flying normally. Jeanette sees something on Swanna's back, gets a shocked look on her face and speaks.
"Grovyle's on Swannas back?!" Jeanette says as everyone looks at Swanna flying in the air, they look at its back and see Grovyle riding on it. Everyone has surprised looks on their faces in the stands Joe speaks.
"How did Grovyle get on Swanna's back?" Joe asks as Harrison speaks.
"It happened fast but before Swanna hit Grovyle, Grovyle narrowly dodged Swanna by moving to the side making Swanna hit the battlefield instead. Then when Swanna was starting to fly in the air Grovyle quickly jumped on Swanna's back" Harrison responds with the group nodding back on the battlefield Jeanette gets mad and speaks.
"This is ridiculous Swanna shake Grovyle off your back by using Aerial Ace!" "Grovyle hang on!" Both trainers call Swanna begins to speed up flying around the battlefield quickly trying to get Grovyle off its back. But Grovyle's holding on tightly making sure not to let go Ash then speaks.
"Great job Grovyle now use Thunder Punch!" Ash calls Grovyle quickly electrifies its fist and punches Swanna's back causing super effective damage making the bird groan in pain as Jeanette speaks.
"Swanna use Hurricane!" "Oh no you don't Grovyle use Thunder Punch again!' Both trainers call when Swanna's about to use Hurricane Grovyle quickly punches Swanna's back again with Thunder Punch. Swanna is then sent crashing down on the battlefield groaning in pain, Swanna then sees Grovyle falling towards it as Jeanette calls for a command.
"Swanna Ice Beam!" "Grovyle dodge then use Leaf blade!" Both trainers call Swanna quickly fires the icy beam. It heads for Grovyle but the grass gecko easily dodges, the 3 leaf's on Grovyle's right arm become a grassy blade it closes in on Swanna as Ash speaks.
"Go!" VYLE!" Ash and Grovyle yell as Grovyle slams its Leaf Blade on Swanna's head making it hit the battlefield causing an explosion as Jeanette speaks.
"Swanna!" Jeanette calls in worry when the smoke clears everyone can see Grovyle its panting a little bit while standing over an unconscious Swanna the ref makes the call.
"Swanna's unable to battle Grovyle's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Ash and his Pokemon to cheer the boy looks at Grovyle and speaks.
"Great job Grovyle!" Ash says with the grass gecko nodding Grovyle then continues to pant Ash notices he pulls out Grovyle's Pokeball and speaks.
"Grovyle return" Ash says with the mon nodding. Grovyle goes back in its Pokeball Ash tells Grovyle that he'll call it back out later. He puts the ball back on his belt, he looks forward and sees Jeanette returning Swanna to its Pokeball he looks at the girl and speaks.
"Well looks like I'm in the lead" Ash says while having a confident look on his face Jeanette looks at him and speaks.
"Heh well you won't be in the lead for long once I bring out this one" Jeanette says while holding a Pokeball forward as Ash brings out a Pokeball too. The two trainers throw the balls forward and speak.
"Scyther I choose you!" "Go Bellsprout!" Both trainers say bringing out their Pokemon. When Scyther appears, it sharpens its scythes then gets in a battle stance. When Jeanette's Bellsprout appears it just looks at Scyther as Ash speaks.
"So, it's here" Ash says to himself in the stands Giselle speaks.
"A Bellsprout? she's using a Bellsprout against Ashy Kins Scyther? this is an easy win" Giselle says happily as Misty speaks.
"I wouldn't be too sure of that" Misty says making Giselle confused as Brock speaks.
"What Misty means is that yesterday when we were looking up information on Jeanette, we learned that so far, she's mainly been using her Scyther, Swanna and Bellsprout to win her battles. So, while Bellsprout may look weak it's not" Brock says with the group nodding they turn their heads back to the battlefield Ash looks at Scyther and speaks.
"Scyther be careful it may not look strong, but that Bellsprout is tough" Ash says with Scyther nodding the ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash calls for the first move.
"Scyther use Air Slash!" Ash calls Scyther's wings glow it fires the slashes of wind as Jeanette speaks.
"Bellsprout dodge!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout easily dodges Scyther's Air Slash as Ash speaks.
"Okay let's try this Scyther use Slash!" Ash calls Scyther quickly flies forward it goes to hit Bellsprout as Jeanette speaks.
"Bellsprout dodge then use Poison Jab!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout bends backwards easily dodging Scyther's attack. Bellsprout then covers its arms in poison and jabs Scyther's stomach. The Mantis coughs in pain as it's sent flying a few feet away landing on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Scyther are you okay?!" Ash asks Scyther groans in pain but stands back up it looks at Ash and nods. Scyther then begins to cough as it's now poisoned, surprising Ash as Jeanette speaks.
"Now it's time for us to go on the offensive Bellsprout use Swords Dance then Cut!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout sharply raises its attack power. Bellsprout's arms then become sharp blades the flower Pokemon then shoots forward going to hit Scyther as Ash speaks.
"Scyther block!" Ash calls Scyther quickly brings up it scythes blocking the move. Scyther is then sent sliding back a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Scyther use Swords Dance then Fury Cutter!" Ash calls Scyther roars it sharply increases its attack power covers its scythes in red bug energy then shoots towards Bellsprout as Jeanette speaks.
"Bellsprout keep using Cut!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout nods it shoots forward as well and collides with Scyther. The two mons begin to try pushing each other back Scyther then suffers from poison damage. Bellsprout notices it goes to hit Scyther with its left arm, but Scyther blocks with its right scythe. Bellsprout then goes to jab Scyther's stomach again, but Scyther quickly blocks with its left scythe. The two mons look at each other then back away. Scyther and Bellsprout then charge at each other and begin to have a sword fight with both mons being able to parry each other's attacks. Back in the stands Misty speaks.
"I can't believe that Bellsprout's able to parry Scyther's attacks" Misty says with the group nodding they keep watching Scyther and Bellsprout clashing until they clash one more time then back away from each other Ash then speaks.
"Scyther use Aerial Ace!" Ash calls Scyther quickly shoots forward it goes to hit Bellsprout as Jeanette speaks.
"Block with Cut!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout quickly brings up its arms and successfully blocks Scyther's attack. Scyther tries its best to break through Bellsprout's defense, but it then suffers from poison damage again. Jeanette and Bellsprout notice as Jeanette speaks.
"Bellsprout grab Scyther's scythe and slam it on the ground!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout blows Scyther away it then jumps forward grabs Scyhter's right arm and sumo slams it on the ground. Bellsprout then continues to slam the mantis on the ground multiple times, it slams it on the ground one more time as Ash speaks.
"Scyther use Slash!" "Bellsprout dodge then use Poison Jab!" Both trainers call Scyther stands back up it goes to slash Bellsprout with its left scythe but Bellsprout dodges. The flower covers its left arm in poison and jabs Scyther again. Scyther is then sent flying and crashes below Ash's feet as Ash speaks.
"Scyther!" Ash calls to it Scyther tries to stand back up, but it suffers from poison damage then stays down as the ref speaks.
"Scyther's unable to battle Bellsprout's the winner!" The ref calls allowing for Jeanette and Bellsprout to cheer. Jeanette's cheer squad cheer for her as well, Ash looks at Scyther he bends down and speaks.
"Scyther are you okay?" Ash asks as the mantis opens its eyes it looks at Ash and its teammates telling them sorry as Ash speaks.
"It's okay Scyther you did your best take a good rest" Ash says with Scyther nodding it goes back in its Pokeball. Ash then stands back up he looks forward as Jeanette speaks.
"Now that your Scyther's gone my Bellsprout will defeat the rest of your Pokemon" Jeanette says as Ash speaks.
"We'll see about that I'm confident that my next Pokemon will defeat Bellsprout. Muk, I choose you!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as the sludge monster appears. Muk roars then gets in a battle stance in the stands Leaf speaks.
"So Muk's Ash's next Pokemon" Leaf says as Harrison speaks.
"Hmmm good idea" Harrison says back on the battlefield Jeanette looks at Muk and speaks.
"A Muk? Hahahaha you think a Muk's going to beat my Bellsprout?" Jeanette says while laughing as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, I'm confident let's do this Muk!" Ash says with Muk nodding the ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash makes the first move.
"Muk use Sludge Bomb!" Ash calls Muk roars it fires multiple bombs of sludge at Bellsprout as Jeanette makes a command.
"Bellsprout run forward using Cut!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout shoots forward its arms become blades and begins to easily cut through the sludge bombs. Bellsprout then makes it to Muk as Jeanette speaks.
"Now Bellsprout hit Muk with Cut!" "Muk take the hit!" Both trainers call Bellsprout jumps forward and successfully jabs Muk. Jeanette along with Bellsprout have smiles on their faces Bellsprout then looks at Muk and sees that it's not in any pain. This surprises Jeanette and Bellsprout as Jeanette speaks.
"Bellsprout use Cut again!" Jeanette calls Bellsprout hits Muk with Cut again but the sludge monster is still unaffected. Jeanette then calls for Bellsprout to slam Muk on the ground and Bellsprout does just that. Bellsprout grabs Muk's arm and begins to continuously sumo slam it on the ground, but Muk still hasn't taken any damage Jeanette then speaks.
"This is impossible how are none of Bellsprout's attacks working?!" Jeanette questions while Ash smiles in the stands Brock speaks.
"Thanks to Muk's body being made up of sludge it's able to bounce away any direct attacks" Brock says as Joe speaks.
"I see so that's why Ash brought in Muk because he knew that Bellsprout wouldn't be able to hurt it" Joe says with Brock nodding. Back on the battlefield Bellsprout slams Muk on the ground one more time but Muk stands back up still fine shocking the flower as Ash speaks.
"Okay Muk it's time we go on the offensive use Screech!" Ash calls Muk, takes in a deep breath and lets out a loud ear-piercing screech that hurts Bellsprout's and Jeanette's ears. Bellsprout feels its defense drop by a lot it then sees Muk standing over it as Ash speaks.
"Now Muk use Body Slam!" "Bellsprout dodge!" Both trainers call before Bellsprout can dodge Muk lays on top of the flower. Bellsprout tries its best to break through, but can't it keeps trying until it stops. Muk then gets off Bellsprout backing away a little bit, everyone then looks at Bellsprout they see that its unconscious as the ref speaks.
"Bellsprout's unable to battle Muk's the winner!" The ref calls Ash smiles and speaks.
"Great job Muk!" "Pika!" "Rio!" "Fro!" "Flora!" Ash along with his Pokemon cheer Muk looks back at them and smiles. Ash's friends cheer too as Leaf speaks.
"And now Jeanette just has one Pokemon left" Leaf says as Giselle speaks.
"Whatever it is it won't be able to beat the rest of Ashy Kins Pokemon" Giselle says with Leaf, Misty and Joe nodding. AJ, Ritchie, Harrison, Jackie and Brock stay quiet as they feel as though Jeanette's last Pokemon won't be easy to beat. Back on the battlefield Jeanette's sad that Bellsprout lost she returns the mon telling it thank you. She then looks forward watching Ash celebrating with his Pokemon as he speaks.
"Okay just one more and we win!" Ash says with his Pokemon nodding Jeanette looks at him and speaks.
"I'll admit coming into this battle I didn't think much of you and that was my fault. But now that we've reached this point my final Pokemon will help me win!" Jeanette says while holding a Pokeball forward and having a serious look on her face. Ash looks at her and speaks.
"Her expression changed Muk get ready" Ash says with the sludge monster nodding as Jeanette speaks.
"Now behold my strongest Pokemon Go! Rillaboom!" Jeanette says she throws the ball high in the air as out of it appears a big green gorilla Pokemon. It lands on the battlefield shaking it then lets out a loud roar creating a shockwave that almost blows Ash along with his Pokemon away, but they all stand their ground. When the mon stops roaring it looks at Muk with Muk staring at it, the two mons get in a battle stance as Ash speaks.
"Who's this Pokemon?" Ash questions as he along with Leaf, Ritchie and Harrison take out their Pokedex's.
"Rillaboom the Drummer Pokemon a pure grass type and the final evolved form of Grookey. The one who is the best drummer becomes the leader, and its calm presence helps maintain harmony within its troop." The Pokedex says as Ash speaks.
"So, this is the final evolved form of Grookey I can feel a lot of power from it" Ash says to himself while staring at the mon in the stands Misty speaks.
"So that's Jeanette's final Pokemon I can feel just how strong it is." Misty says as Brock speaks.
"Yeah, Rillaboom are known to be very strong Pokemon Ash will need to be careful" Brock says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield the ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash speaks.
"Let's go Muk use Fire Blast!" Ash calls Muk roars it fires the big blast of fire at Rillaboom as Jeanette speaks.
"How obvious Rillaboom knock it away with Hammer Arm!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom nods its right arm glows white as the Fire Blast is about to hit Rillaboom, the gorilla swings its arm back handing the move and knocks it away making it hit a wall instead. Ash has a surprised look on his face he quickly recomposes himself and calls for his next command.
"Muk Focus Blast!" Ash calls Muk quickly creates a ball of fighting energy and sends it at Rillaboom. Neither the gorilla nor Jeanette are concerned as Jeanette speaks.
"Rillaboom punch it back!" Jeanette calls when the Focus Blast is about to hit Rillaboom the gorilla easily punches it away with its left fist sending it back at Muk as Ash speaks.
"Muk quick jump in the air!" Ash calls Muk quickly jumps high in the air dodging the Focus Blast. When Muk's in the air it sees Rillaboom in front of it as Jeanette speaks.
"Knock it back down with High Horsepower!" Jeanette calls before Ash can make a command Rillaboom glows in an orange outline lifts up both arms and slams them down on Muk's head. Muk is then sent crashing back down on the battlefield as Ash speaks.
"Muk!" Ash calls in worry when the smoke clears Muk is still standing but groaning in pain it then sees Rillaboom land back down on the battlefield as Jeanette speaks.
"Now Earth Power!" "Dodge Muk!" Both trainers call Rillaboom roars it punches the battlefield cracking it sending it towards Muk. The sludge monster quickly dodges to the right when it dodges it sees Rillaboom charging up a Focus Blast. Ash and Muk have surprised looks on their faces as Jeanette speaks.
"Fire Rillaboom!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom roars it fires a big Focus Blast. Ash doesn't have time to tell Muk to dodge as the orange ball of fighting energy quickly travels down the battlefield and hits Muk creating an explosion. Ash then sees Muk appear from the explosion it flies pass him and hits the wall behind him. Muk then falls on the ground knocked out as the ref speaks.
"Muk is unable to battle Rillaboom is the winner!" The ref calls as Jeanette speaks.
"Way to go Rillaboom!" Jeanette says happily as the gorilla roars in victory. Ash returns Muk telling it thank you he grabs his next Pokeball and speaks.
"Lee, I choose you!" Ash says bringing the bull back in it gets in a charging position while glaring at Rillaboom in the stands Leaf speaks.
"Ash's bringing Lee back in" Leaf says as AJ speaks.
"Seeing Rillaboom's strength I guess the reason why Ash brought Lee back in was so it could match Rillaboom's power" AJ says as Jackie speaks.
"Also, during its battle with Gigalith Lee didn't take any damage so it should be able to fight evenly with Rillaboom" Jackie says with the group nodding. Back on the battlefield the ref calls for the battle to continue as Ash makes the first move.
"Let's go Lee use Bulk Up then Raging Bull!" Ash calls Lee roars increasing its attack/defense its horns glow orange and covers its body in orange energy. Lee then runs forward going to hit Rillaboom as Jeanette speaks.
"Rillaboom use Drum Beating!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom pulls out a drum set from its back grabs two sticks and begins beating on the drums. As it's doing so two large vines appear from the ground, they grab Lee stopping its advances surprising Ash as he speaks.
"Lee get out of there!" Ash calls Lee tries but can't the vines are squeezing Lee tightly the bull is also being taken high into the air as Jeanette speaks.
"Now slam it on the ground!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom beats on its drums some more as its vines slam Lee hard back on the ground creating a dust cloud as Ash speaks.
"Lee!" Ash calls in worry when the dust clears Lee is laying on its stomach it then struggles to stand up but eventually does. The bull feels as though its speed has decreased and begins to pant heavily Jeanette then speaks.
"Let's end this Rillaboom use Acrobatics!" "Lee dodge!" Both trainers call Rillaboom glows blue and shoots forward instantly reaching Lee. The bull doesn't have time to dodge as Rillaboom begins to punch/kick Lee repeatedly with each hit hurting more than before. Rillaboom then punches Lee hard in the face sending it flying making the bull crash below Ash's feet. Ash looks at Lee and sees that it's knocked out as the ref speaks.
"Lee the Tauros is unable to battle Rillaboom's the winner!" The ref calls Jeanette and Rillaboom cheer in victory while Jeanette's cheerleaders cheer for them in the stands Giselle speaks.
"Lee lost that quickly?" Giselle says having a surprised look on her face as Brock speaks.
"Even though Lee increased its defense with Bulk Up Rillaboom still being able to knock out Lee with two moves is impressive" Brock says with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash returns Lee to its Pokeball telling it thank you and get a good rest. He then looks back at the battlefield he grabs his next Pokeball and speaks.
"I know you're tired but I'm counting on you Grovyle I choose you!" Ash says sending the grass gecko back in. When Grovyle appears, it pants a little but then looks at Rillaboom and gets in a battle stance with the Gorilla doing the same. Back in the stands Ritchie speaks.
"Ash's sending in Grovyle next I'm guessing he's hoping to have Grovyle out maneuver Rillaboom with its speed" Ritchie says as AJ speaks.
"But we saw how fast Rillaboom was when it used Acrobatics, I'm not sure if speed will work" AJ says with Ritchie nodding meanwhile Misty, Leaf, Giselle and Jackie cheer Ash on. Back on the battlefield Ash begins to think.
"Even though Grovyle's tired we should be able to at least land one hit on Rillaboom" Ash says to himself the ref calls for the battle to continue as Jeanette speaks.
"Rillaboom beat that gecko fast use Acrobatics!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom roars, it covers its body in blue energy and shoots forward instantly reaching Grovyle. As Rillaboom goes to punch the grass gecko Ash calls for a command.
"Grovyle back away with Quick Attack!" Ash calls Grovyle quickly backs away from Rillaboom with Quick Attack making Rillaboom punch the battlefield instead cracking it Ash then calls for his next command.
"Now use Swords Dance then Aerial Ace!" Ash calls Grovyle sharply increases its attack power then shoots forward at a fast speed going to hit Rillaboom as Jeanette speaks.
"Punch it away with Mega Punch!" "Block Grovyle!" Both trainers call Rillaboom's fist glows it goes to punch Grovyle but the grass gecko blocks with its arms. The two mons connect as Rillaboom sends Grovyle soaring high into the air Jeanette then speaks.
"Now use Drum Beating!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom makes it to its Drum set and begins beating on the drums summoning two large vines that head for Grovyle as Ash speaks.
"Grovyle use Leaf Blade!" Ash calls the leaves on Grovyle's arms glow becoming grassy blades. Grovyle falls toward the two vines it successfully cuts one of them in half. When the second one goes to hit it Grovyle dodges then begins to slide down on the vine heading for Rillaboom as Ash speaks.
"Now Aerial Ace!" Ash calls before Jeanette can make a command Grovyle quickly shoots downward and punches Rillaboom hard on the head causing super effective damage. There's an explosion making Rillaboom skid back a couple feet Ash congratulates Grovyle as Jeanette speaks.
"Just because you landed one hit means nothing Rillaboom end it with Mega Punch!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom jumps forward instantly reaching Grovyle. Rillaboom's right fist glows as it punches Grovyle hard in the stomach making the grass gecko cough in pain. Grovyle is then sent flying, it goes pass Ash and crashes into the same wall that Muk hit as Ash speaks.
"Grovyle!" Ash yells in concern he sees Grovyle fall on the ground with no intention of standing back up as the ref speaks.
"Grovyle's unable to battle Rillaboom's the winner!" The ref calls Jeanette and Rillaboom cheer in victory. Ash pulls out Grovyle's Pokeball and speaks.
"Grovyle return" Ash says returning the grass gecko to its Pokeball he then looks at the ball and speaks.
"Thank you Grovyle take a good rest" Ash says he puts the ball back on his belt in the stands Giselle speaks.
"And now Ashy Kins has one Pokemon left" Giselle says as Misty speaks.
"It's not over yet Ash's last Pokemon will win I just know it" Misty says having a determined look on her face with the others nodding. Back on the battlefield Ash grits his teeth as Pikachu speaks.
"Pika" Pikachu says Ash looks at Pikachu then looks at Riolu, Froakie and Floragato they have worried looks on their faces as Ash speaks.
"Hey, don't worry guys I may be in a tough spot right now, but I can still win" Ash responds having a determined look on his face making the 4 mons smile and nod. Ash then looks back at the battlefield he takes out his last Pokeball as Jeanette speaks.
"After seeing just how strong my Rillaboom is you want to continue? You should just give up it's obvious that you can't win" Jeanette says while having a confident smile on her face Ash looks at her and speaks.
"Sorry but I'm not giving up my Pokemon and I have come too far to give up now and my final Pokemon will help me win!" Ash states while holding his Pokeball forward as Jeanette speaks.
"Hmph please no matter what you bring in next my Rillaboom will crush it!" Jeanette states with Rillaboom roaring in agreement as Ash speaks.
"I'll make you eat those words Now Torracat I Choose You!" Ash says he throws the ball forward as Torracat appears. When the fire cat lands on the battlefield it lets out a big "TORRA!" creating a shockwave showcasing its power. Torracat then stops roaring, it looks at Rillaboom and gets in a battle stance with Rillaboom doing the same in the stands Leaf speaks.
"Ash's final Pokemon is Torracat" Leaf says as Joe speaks.
"Will it be able to defeat Rillaboom? Even though it has the type advantage so did Muk and it got defeated easily" Joe says while having a worried look on his face as Brock speaks.
"While that is concerning, I'm confident that Torracat can still win" Brock says as Misty speaks.
"Brock's right Ash's Torracat trains with Ash's Fire types and Ash's other Pokemon all the time. It also battled the Masked Royal's Incineroar a couple weeks ago and did well against it so I'm sure Torracat can win" Misty says with the group nodding they turn their heads back to the battlefield as Jeanette speaks.
"A Torracat? Pfft Hahahahaha you're sending in a Torracat against my Rillaboom? I would've been more worried if it was an Incineroar" Jeanette says while laughing as Ash speaks.
"Hey just because my Torracat isn't an Incineroar doesn't mean that it's weak it trains with my fire types and the rest of my other Pokemon everyday improving itself and it'll defeat your Rillaboom!" Ash responds with Torracat roaring in agreement Jeanette stops laughing and speaks.
"Please I doubt it can Rillaboom we're ending this fast" Jeanette says with the Gorilla roaring in agreement it beats on its chest for a little bit then stops as the ref speaks.
"This is the final battle both trainers have one Pokemon left whoever defeats their opponents Pokemon first will be declared the winner. If both trainers are ready you may continue!" The ref calls when he does there's silence in the air everyone watches on seeing who'll make the first move. Everyone then notices a falling leaf; it keeps falling until it lands on the battlefield Ash and Jeanette then call for their commands.
"Torracat Flamethrower!" Rillaboom High Horsepower!" Both trainers call the two-mons roar as Torracat launches the stream of fire while Rillaboom glows in an orange outline and charges forward. Rillaboom easily by passes through the Flamethrower as it goes to punch Torracat Ash calls for a command.
"Torracat back away then use Flame Charge!" Ash calls Torracat quickly jumps backwards dodging Rillaboom's fist as the Gorilla punches the battlefield. Torracat lands on the ground, it covers its body in fire and jumps forward ramming its head in Rillaboom's stomach. Rillaboom groans in pain as it's sent sliding back a few feet away, Torracat feels its speed increasing as Ash speaks.
"Use Flame Charge again!" Ash calls Torracat covers its body in fire and runs forward going to hit Rillaboom again as Jeanette speaks.
"Use Drum Beating!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom brings out its drum set grabs its sticks and roars. Rillaboom starts playing its drums and summons two large vines that head for Torracat as Ash speaks.
"Torracat dodge the vines and keep running forward!" Ash calls Torracat nods it sees the vines heading for it. The vines try to grab Torracat but the fire cat dodges by jumping over them, Torracat keeps running going to hit Rillaboom as Jeanette speaks.
"Use Earth Power!" "Torracat do a sharp turn to the right!" Both trainers call Rillaboom continues to beat on its drums as it summons a crack on the ground. It goes to hit Torracat but the fire cat makes a sharp right turn narrowly avoiding Rillaboom's attack. Torracat then appears on Rillaboom's left side it heats up its mouth as Ash speaks.
"Now Fire Fang!" Ash calls Torracat covers its teeth with fire it jumps forward going to bite Rillaboom as Jeanette speaks.
"Rillaboom block!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom quickly brings up its left arm and blocks Torracat's attack. Torracat bites down hard on Rillaboom's left arm making the Gorilla groan in pain it then brings Torracat close to its face takes a deep breath as Jeanette speaks.
"Now Screech!" "Get out of there Torracat!" Both trainers call Torracat can't dodge in time as Rillaboom lets out a loud ear-piercing screech that hurts Torracat's ears. The fire cat quickly let's go of Rillaboom's arm; it lands on the ground beginning to cover its ears. Torracat also feels its defense getting lower as Jeanette speaks.
"Now keep using Screech and end it with High Horsepower!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom keeps screeching at Torracat the Gorilla then covers its body in an orange outline and raises its right fist. Rillaboom then goes to punch Torracat as Ash speaks.
"Torracat dodge then use Fire Spin!" Ash calls as Rillaboom's fist is getting closer to Torracat the fire cat quickly jumps away dodging Rillaboom's fist. Torracat lands back on the ground it heats up its mouth and fires the fire tornado trapping Rillaboom inside. Rillaboom looks around it sees that it's surrounded by fire and is taking some damage while inside Jeanette then speaks.
"Rillaboom break out of there with Hammer Arm!" Jeanette calls before Rillaboom swings its arm Ash makes a command.
"Torracat Flame Charge!" Ash calls in an instant Torracat appears and hits Rillaboom across the face. Before Rillaboom can counter Torracat quickly hides in the fire spin as Ash speaks.
"Now Flame Charge again!" Ash calls Torracat shoots forward again at blinding speed hitting Rillaboom causing damage to it as Ash speaks.
"Yeah, Torracat keep doing that!" Ash says while Pikachu, Floragato, Riolu and Froakie cheer. Torracat nods as it keeps hitting Rillaboom over and over again in the stands Joe speaks.
"I see so trapping Rillaboom inside the Fire Spin allows Torracat to hit Rillaboom in its blind spots. And before Rillaboom can counter Torracat quickly hides in the Fire Spin making it so Rillaboom can't go after it as Torracat will hit it again" Joe says as Brock speaks.
"Also, with each successful hit Torracat lands its speed increases making it harder for Rillaboom to catch it" Brock says with the group nodding as Giselle speaks.
"Wait isn't this the same thing that Kiawe did back in the SS. Anne?" Giselle asks as Misty speaks.
"Yes, Ash has been incorporating this strategy a lot in his battles" Misty responds with Giselle nodding. Meanwhile in the far Alola region inside Kukui's house we see Kukui, Burnet, Lillie, Mallow, Lana, Sophocles and Kiawe they're all currently watching Ash's battle. Kiawe looks at what Torracat's doing and smiles. Back on the battlefield Torracat hits Rillaboom again knocking it to the ground the Gorilla stands back up it begins to pant, Torracat then goes to hit it again as Jeanette speaks.
"Rillaboom Noble Roar!" Jeanette calls as Torracat's just inches away from hitting Rillaboom the Gorilla lets out a loud roar which makes Torracat stop its advances. The roar is so strong that it also gets rid of the Fire Spin and lowers Torracat's special attack/attack power Jeanette smiles and speaks.
"That was a nice trick, but I'm done playing around I'm winning this battle Rillaboom use Bulk Up and Swords Dance!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom roars as it sharply increases its attack and defense power. Rillaboom then glares at Torracat trying to intimidate it Torracat keeps looking at Rillaboom standing its ground and growling as Ash speaks.
"Torracat Flamethrower!" Ash calls Torracat roars it heats up its mouth and fires the big stream of fire at point blank range Jeanette then speaks.
"Rillaboom break out of there and use High Horsepower!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom easily breaks out of the flames and roars. It goes to punch Torracat as Ash calls for a command.
"Torracat Flame Charge!" Ash calls Torracat quickly heats up its body and jumps upward headbutting Rillaboom's chin. Rillaboom stumbles back a couple of feet but stands strong it clinches its left fist and punches Torracat hard in the stomach. Torracat coughs in pain as it's sent flying crashing on the ground a few feet away as Ash speaks.
"Torracat!" Ash calls in worry Torracat struggles to stand up but eventually does it lets out a loud roar stating it can continue Jeanette then calls for her next command.
"This will make you stay down permanently Rillaboom Earthquake!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom roars it slams its fist hard on the ground causing it to shake it heads for Torracat as Ash speaks.
"Torracat jump in the air!" Ash calls Torracat quickly jumps in the air dodging the move. When it does Torracat looks up and sees Rillaboom above it the Gorilla is holding its Drum Set as Jeanette speaks.
"Rillaboom High Horsepower!" "Torracat use Protect!" Both trainers call Torracat quickly summons a protective barrier while Rillaboom roars it covers its Drum Set in an orange outline and slams it down on the barrier. The protective barrier cracks a little bit but before it fully cracks open Torracat is sent crashing back down on the battlefield. Torracat's groaning in pain as Ash speaks.
"Torracat above you!" Ash calls Torracat looks up it sees Rillaboom falling towards it as Jeanette speaks.
"High Horsepower!" "Torracat quick dodge with Flame Charge!" Both trainers call Torracat quickly covers its body in fire and runs away as Rillaboom slams its Drum Set hard on the battlefield creating a shockwave. As Torracat's running the shockwave catches up to Torracat causing it to lose its footing and fall as Jeanette speaks.
"Now grab it with Drum Beating!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom roars it starts beating on its drums and summons two large vines that head for Torracat as Ash speaks.
"Torracat Flame Charge!" Ash calls Torracat quickly heats up its body and begins running away from the vines. Torracat runs around the battlefield trying to get away from the vines as the vines get closer to Torracat Ash gets an idea and speaks.
"Torracat run towards Rillaboom!" Ash calls Torracat nods it quickly begins running towards Rillaboom with the vines closely behind it as Jeanette speaks.
"Hahahahaha you're just begging to lose Rillaboom when Torracat gets close use Hammer Arm!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom, nods, it puts its drums on its back and covers both arms in white energy. Rillaboom then looks at Torracat with Torracat looking at it the vines are getting closer to Torracat while Torracat gets close to Rillaboom. As they're about to collide Jeanette speaks.
"Now hit it with Hammer Arm!" "Torracat dive under Rillaboom!" Both trainers call Rillaboom roars it goes to hit Torracat but the fire cat quickly dives under Rillaboom's legs dodging the move. This surprises the Gorilla, Rillaboom then looks forward and sees its vines before Rillaboom can dodge the vines hit it causing an explosion. Rillaboom is sent high into the air surprising Jeanette as Ash speaks.
"Torracat Flame Charge!" Ash calls Torracat quickly jumps high into the air it gets above Rillaboom then covers itself in fire. Torracat then shoots downward hitting Rillaboom hard in the stomach making the Gorilla cough in pain as the two-mons come crashing back down on the battlefield creating a smoke screen. From the smoke comes Torracat it slides back to Ash's side of the battlefield and looks forward as Jeanette speaks.
"Rillaboom!" Jeanette calls in worry when the smoke clears everyone can see Rillaboom it's laying on its back groaning in pain but then stands back up. Rillaboom then starts to pant while glaring at Torracat with Torracat doing the same, in the stands Brock speaks.
"I see so Ash had Torracat run back to Rillaboom knowing Jeanette would try and counter he then had Torracat go under Rillaboom's legs and have it get hit by its own attack. Then after that he had Torracat use Flame Charge to damage Rillaboom more." Brock says with the others nodding back on the battlefield Jeanette's getting frustrated as she yells.
"AAAH! I've had enough! I'm ending this now Rillaboom use Swords Dance then Earthquake!" Jeanette yells Rillaboom roars it sharply increases its attack power then slams its fist on the battlefield causing it to shake as Ash speaks.
"Torracat jump!" Ash calls Torracat quickly jumps high in the air dodging the Earthquake when it does Jeanette speaks.
"Use Drum Beating!" Jeanette calls Rillaboom roars it beats on its drums and quickly summons two large vines. The vines shoot high into the air reach Torracat and grab it holding onto it tightly as Ash speaks.
"Torracat break out of there with Flamethrower!" Ash calls Torracat heats up its mouth but stops as the vines squeeze Torracat's body making it groan in pain. Torracat then looks at Rillaboom and sees that its charging up a Focus Blast Jeanette then speaks.
"YOUR TORRACAT HAS NO WHERE TO GO IT'S MY VICTORY! RILLABOOM LAUNCH THE FOCUS BLAST!" Jeanette yells as Rillaboom roars it creates a large Focus Blast and fires it at Torracat as Ash yells.
"TORRACAT DODGE!" "PIKA!" "FLORA!" "RIO!" "FRO!" Ash along with Pikachu, Floragato, Riolu and Froakie yell hoping Torracat dodges. Torracat tries its best to dodge but can't as the vines are holding onto it tightly. Torracat then looks at the Focus Blast and sees it getting closer. Torracat continues to try getting out of the hold as it's trying the fire cat then remembers something. Back in the Safari Zone before it was captured by Ash Torracat (who was a Litten at the time) was training with its old master Stoutland. One day as it was training Litten just got done mastering Ember and Fire Fang. The fire cat was happy with Stoutland praising it. Stoutland then tells Litten that it's ready for the next step, Stoutland stares at a rocky wall it then closes its eyes and begins building up fire energy. Once it's done building up Stoutland roars.
"STOUT!" Stoutland lets out a mighty roar as it fires a big Fire Blast at the rocky wall. When the move connects it creates an explosion which scares the nearby flying Pokemon. A few seconds later when the smoke clears, both Stoutland and Litten see that the move left an imprint on the wall. Litten is impressed Stoutland tells Litten that for its next training it'll have to learn Fire Blast making the fire cat excited. After that many days passed Litten tries again and again but can't seem to use the move, as Litten was getting close to learning the move Stoutland passes away. Litten was sad that its master was gone but before it died Stoutland told Litten to find a strong trainer that'll help it become much stronger. When Stoutland said that it died, the next day Litten was captured by Ash.
During its time with Ash Litten continued trying to learn Fire Blast but was unable to. Even with the help of Ash's other fire types, Muk, Clefable and after evolving into a Torracat it's still unable to use the move. Now back in present time Torracat's trying to get out of the vines and the Focus Blast is getting closer. Torracat hears the cries from its trainer and teammates. Torracat doesn't want to lose this battle, it wants to continue growing stronger and help Ash achieve his goal. Torracat then closes its eyes and begins to concentrate building up fire in its body. Torracat builds up more and more fire until its bell appendage begins to ring, Torracat then opens its eyes and yells.
"TORRA!" Torracat roars as from its bell appears a big Fire Blast which surprises everyone. Torracat then manages to slap the move with its paw making it collide with the Focus Blast. The two moves begin fighting for dominance pushing each other back as Jeanette yells.
"RILLABOOM DESTROY THAT FIRE BLAST!" "RILLA!" Jeanette and Rillaboom yell the Gorilla pours more power into the move making it bigger it begins to push the Fire Blast back as Ash speaks.
"TORRACAT MORE POWER!" "TORRA!" Ash and Torracat yell the bell appendage rings more as Torracat's Fire Blast becomes bigger until it dwarves the Focus Blast. Everyone is surprised to see how big the move got the Fire Blast then destroys the Focus Blast and heads for Rillaboom as Jeanette yells.
"RILLABOOM USE PROTECT!" Jeanette yells from the top of her lungs Rillaboom summons a large protective barrier it holds out its hands as the Fire Blast connects. Rillaboom tries its best to keep the Protect up but can't, the barrier starts to crack it continues to crack until it's completely destroyed, and the blast of fire consumes Rillaboom. Rillaboom yells out in pain as there's an explosion making the entire stadium shake and creating a big dust cloud. The vines that were holding onto Torracat are burned away making the fire cat land back on the ground. Torracat pants heavily and looks forward as the dust clears everyone sees Rillaboom laying on the ground seemingly unconscious as Ash speaks.
"You did it Torracat! and congrats on learning Fire Blast!" Ash says happily Torracat looks back at him and its teammates and smiles as Jeanette speaks.
"RILLABOOM DRAIN PUNCH!" Jeanette yells as Rillaboom stands back up it shoots over to Torracat and punches it hard in the face with its right fist. Torracat is sent skidding back landing a few feet away as Ash yells.
"TORRACAT!" Ash yells in concern the fire cat groans in pain but stands back up it can still battle. Torracat then looks at Rillaboom it sees some burn marks on it, but thanks to the Drain Punch some of the marks go away as Jeanette speaks.
"I must say you really had me concerned there but my Rillaboom is strong, and IT WON'T GO DOWN!" Jeanette yells as Rillaboom lets out a loud roar in agreement creating a shockwave in the stands Misty speaks.
"This is ridiculous how is it still standing?!" Misty questions but everyone else is surprised as well Brock then speaks.
"I'm not sure but look it's close to fainting" Brock says the group look forward and see Rillaboom panting heavily Leaf then speaks.
"All Torracat needs to do is land one good solid hit on Rillaboom" Leaf says as Joe speaks.
"But can Torracat do that? it looks like it will faint at any moment" Joe asks as they see Torracat panting heavily Misty then speaks.
"It can Torracat knows how important this battle is for Ash and it will win for him" Misty states having a determined look on her face the others nod they turn back to the battlefield Ash looks at Torracat and speaks.
"Torracat are you okay?" Ash asks with the fire cat nodding stating it is Ash nods as he begins to think.
"I just need Torracat to land one solid hit on Rillaboom but I don't know if it'll last that long. No, I can't think like that I know Torracat can win" Ash says to himself he looks at Torracat and speaks.
"Torracat all we need to do is land one good solid hit on Rillaboom and we'll win!" Ash says with Torracat roaring as Jeanette speaks.
"Land one solid hit? Heh, I WON'T GIVE YOU THE CHANCE RILLABOOM WOOD HAMMER!" Jeanette yells as Rillaboom roars it grabs its sticks and turns them into two large green hammers. Rillaboom then runs forward as Ash speaks.
"TORRACAT USE OVERHEAT!" Ash yells Torracat roars its body heats up more (activating its Blaze ability) as it fires a big wave of fire at Rillaboom Jeanette then speaks.
"RILLABOOM DESTROY THAT MOVE WITH YOUR HAMMERS!" Jeanette yells Rillaboom roars it holds its hammers forward making them a shield then enters the Overheat. Rillaboom's now running inside the Overheat Rillaboom receives some damage but thanks to its hammers its blocking most of the fire. Rillaboom keeps running until it breaks out of Overheat surprising everyone. Rillaboom's now in front of Torracat it clinches its right fist as Jeanette yells.
"END IT WITH HIGH HORSEPOWER!" "BOOM!" Jeanette and Rillaboom yell as Rillaboom successfully punches Torracat hard across the face. Torracat coughs in pain it then feels like it's starting to black out. As Torracat's about to close its eyes Ash yells.
"YOU'RE NOT DONE TORRACAT WE'VE TRAINED WAY TOO HARD TO LOSE NOW! YOUR TEAMMATES IN THIS BATTLE BATTLED HARD HOPING YOU'LL GET THE WIN. SO DON'T LOSE TORRACAT DEFEAT RILLABOOM AND AVENGE YOUR TEAMMATES!" "PIKA!" "FLORA!" "RIO!" "FRO!" Ash, Pikachu, Floragato, Riolu and Froakie let out a loud cheer for it, the Pokemon on Ash's belt also cheer for Torracat. Torracat can hear their voices it doesn't want to go down either, but it doesn't know if it has the strength to keep fighting. When Torracat's about to go down it sees Stoutland Torracat looks at the dog while having a surprised look on its face as Stoutland just says one thing.
"Stout" Stoutland tells Torracat to win. Torracat then remembers its time with Stoutland and its time with Ash the fire cat nods as it lets out a loud yell.
"TORRA!" Torracat yells as it knocks away Rillaboom's right fist from its face. Everyone looks at Torracat its body is glowing in an orange aura. Torracat then stands on its hind legs as the orange aura then goes into its right fist in the stands Ritchie speaks.
"Is that what I think it is?" Ritchie asks as Brock speaks.
"Yes, that's Revenge not wanting to lose Torracat has pushed passed its limits again and has learned a new move" Brock says as Harrison speaks.
"Not only that but thanks to Rillaboom punching Torracat with High Horsepower the strength of the Revenge has significantly increased" Harrison says with the group nodding as Misty, Giselle, Leaf, Jackie, Joe and AJ cheer.
"GO! TORRACAT!" The 6 kids cheer loudly along with Misty's Sobble, Quaxly and Togepi. Back on the battlefield Jeanette gets angry and yells.
"THIS IS RIDICULOUS RILLABOOM END THIS WITH WOOD HAMMER!" "BOOM!" Jeanette and Rillaboom yell as Rillaboom's body then glows in a green aura activating its Overgrow ability. Rillaboom then combines its two sticks together as they become a giant green hammer. Rillaboom then goes to hit Torracat with the Hammer as Ash yells.
"Torracat Dodge!" Ash yells with Torracat nodding the fire cat moves to the left easily dodging the Hammer. When the hammer hits the battlefield, it creates a big crater. Rillaboom then looks at Torracat it sees that it's fully charged the Revenge Torracat looks at Rillaboom and smiles as Ash yells.
"TORRACAT USE REVENGE!" "PIKA!" "FLORA!" "RIO!" "FRO!" Ash, Pikachu, Floragato, Riolu and Froakie yell. Torracat's smile then goes away it gets a serious look on its face and yells.
"TORRA!" Torracat roars as it jumps forward and punches Rillaboom hard in the stomach. Rillaboom coughs in pain as it's sent flying. Rillaboom flies out of the battlefield going pass Jeanette it almost hits Jeanette's cheer leaders, but they quickly move out of the way. Rillaboom keeps going until it crashes into the wall behind Jeanette's cheerleaders, almost breaking it. Torracat then begins to pant heavily it stares at Rillaboom and sees it fall on the ground having no intention of standing back up the ref then makes the call.
"Rillaboom's unable to battle Torracat's the winner seeing as contestant Jeanette has no more Pokemon left this means that contestant Ash from Pallet Town is the victor and will advance to the next round!" The ref calls Ash gets a big smile on his face and yells.
"ALRIGHT!" Ash lets out a loud cheer jumping high in the air along with Pikachu, Floragato, Riolu and Froakie. Torracat smiles then lays down on its stomach in exhaustion the crowd then claps/cheers for Ash and his Pokemon in the stands Leaf speaks.
"HE DID IT!" Leaf cheers happily along with Misty, Giselle, Joe, Jackie and AJ as Brock speaks.
"It was touch and go there but Ash won" Brock says with Ritchie and Harrison nodding. Somewhere else in the crowd Gary smiles happy that Ash won. Meanwhile in another part of the crowd Paul has a stoic expression he gives a "Hmph" then walks away. Back at Oak's ranch Ash's Pokemon along with Delia, Oak, Daisy and Mr. Mime let out a loud cheer. Charizard, Arcanine, Pyroar, Blaze, Crocalor, Charcadet and Dratini all fire big Flamethrowers in the air which surprises everyone there. Inside the building where Red, Goodshow, Blue and the Elite 4 are, Red has a big smile on his face. Back on the battlefield Ash runs over to Torracat bends down and speaks.
"Great job Torracat I knew you could do it" Ash says smiling with Pikachu, Riolu and Froakie congratulating it too. Lee, Muk, Grovyle and Scyther come out of their Pokeball's also congratulating Torracat, Torracat looks at them all and smiles. Floragato grabs Torracat she wraps the fire cat in an affectionate hug and gives it a big kiss on the cheek making the fire cat blush in embarrassment as Ash and his other Pokemon chuckle. Meanwhile on the other side of the battlefield Jeanette is sad that she lost she walks over to Rillaboom. When she makes it Rillaboom looks at her saying sorry as Jeanette speaks.
"It's okay Rillaboom you and everyone else did your best" Jeanette says with the Gorilla nodding. They then notice Ash along with his Pokemon (Floragato still has Torracat in her arms) run over to them when they get close Ash speaks.
"That was a great battle Jeanette thank you" Ash says while holding out his hand. Jeanette looks at Ash she smiles stands up takes Ash's hand and speaks.
"I enjoyed our battle as well and I'm sorry for being rude to you" Jeanette says apologetically as Ash speaks.
"It's fine and let's battle again one day" Ash says with Jeanette nodding the two then shake hands Rillaboom and Torracat smile then fist bump each other as the crowd claps for them. After that more battles happen throughout the day it's now nighttime the remaining trainers are looking at Mr. Goodshow as he speaks.
"Today was another amazing day for battles congratulations to all of you who've made it to the Top 32" Goodshow says with the trainers nodding as he continues to speak.
"Now that we've reached the Top 32 from here on out the battles will be 6v6 now please take a look at who your opponents will be tomorrow" The man says as everyone looks at a screen, they see their pictures randomize for a few seconds until they stop with all of the images pairing the trainers with their opponents. The trainers look to see who they'll be battling Leaf looks at Ash and speaks.
"Who's your opponent Ash?" Leaf asks as Ash continues to look he finds his image he then looks at the person next to it and gets a surprised look on his face as he speaks.
"I'm facing Jackie next" Ash responds he then looks at Jackie who's also surprised. The girl looks at Ash, smiles and speaks.
"Seems we'll finally get to battle each other again Ash let's give it our all tomorrow" Jackie says while having an excited look on her face Ash smiles and speaks.
"Sounds good to me" Ash responds back also having an excited look on his face. After that the trainers then leave, heading to their rooms to sleep.
It's now the next day the battles have started and are becoming more intense. The group of Ash, Misty, Brock, Leaf, Giselle, Joe and Jackie have come to watch Gary's battle Ash then speaks.
"I'm excited to watch Gary's battle I've been too focused on mine that I haven't gotten the chance to watch any of his battles" Ash says with the group nodding as Leaf speaks.
"Yeah, I'm excited too let's give our all and cheer for him" Leaf says with Ash nodding as Misty speaks.
"I think Gary's covered when it comes to cheering" Misty says as she points to the battlefield as behind Gary are his cheerleaders cheering him on as Leaf speaks.
"Oh….. right they exist….." Leaf says in a disappointed tone Brock looks at the cheerleaders and speaks.
"I wonder if they'll give me their phone numbers if I ask" Brock says with Joe having the same thoughts as Misty speaks.
"I doubt it they'll most likely reject you" Misty says making both Brock and Joe sad as Giselle speaks.
"By the way who's this Melissa person?" Giselle asks as Jackie speaks.
"I watched her first-round battle and she's a strong battler" Jackie responds with the group nodding they then hear the ref speak.
"This is a 6v6 full battle between Melissa and Gary Oak from Pallet Town both trainers are allowed to substitute their Pokemon and the winner is decided when either side has defeated all of their opponents Pokemon. Now before the battle begins let's see which field you'll be battling on." The ref says as everyone looks at a screen and see a circle that showcases the different fields. The light turns on as it begins to go through all of the different fields until it stops on one the ref then speaks.
"The battle will take place on a rock field!" The ref calls as everyone sees the field change into a rock field in the stands Brock speaks.
"So, it's a rock field this is a good spot for their rock type Pokemon" Brock says with the group nodding back on the battlefield the ref speaks.
"Now will both trainers please send out their first Pokemon!" The ref says Gary and Melisa grab their Pokeball's throw them and speak.
"Go Electrode!" "Go Tauros!" Both trainers call Gary sends out his Electrode while Melissa brings out her Tauros, the two mons look at each other getting into battle stances as the ref speaks.
"Now that both trainers have sent in their first Pokemon you may now begin!" The ref calls Gary and Melisa call for their moves as the chapter ends.
Thank you for reading if you've made it this far. Whew pretty long chapter today we got to see that both Ritchie and Ash had intense battles. Tell me what did you think of the battles and what was your favorite moment.
Next chapter will come out next week will mainly focus on Ash's battle with Jackie while Gary's battle against Melissa will just cover the end. The reason I'm only covering the end of Gary's battle with Melissa is that there's another battle that Gary's going to have that I want to focus more on can you guys guess on what that battle will be?
