My Hero Academia: Discovery of Q-EnergyI

Chapter: 4. Analysis of Death.

At a bar, police secured the place with vast security and observant officers. Not a single intruder or animal could get through without handling those guardians. Then, Izuku and Bakugo arrive at the scene of the crime and see the carnage: the body is in a dumpster next to a tall wall that is broken down. It is disemboweled and some limbs are broken as the left arm and right leg are twisted and manipulated like a zig-zag. The jaw of the body snapped downwards and the flesh on the cheeks was torn. And the most notable trait that is consistent is the deprived scalp. The disgusting scene almost made Izuku puke.

"I've seen villains murder people, but this is too far, even for them!" Izuku says horrifyingly.

"Tch! I'm so gonna enjoy beating these villains for this!" Bakugo says with disgust.

"Well, the villains aren't going to find themselves." The Officer replies, "The body was found at 10:30 PM last night. He died just 15 minutes before the discovery. The victim's name is Ko Hata, he is a high school graduate and planned on attending UA. His Quirk is called Daydream, where he can manipulate people's dreams. He is 18, and usually participates in babysitting, where his quirk comes in handy."

"Well, for one, We can all agree that either someone with a super strength quirk or with a blunt object can break a jaw so brutally," Bakugo responds.

"I'm gonna suggest the super strength quirk," Izuku responds, "Look at these wounds."

Izuku points at some deep wounds deep in the mouth, like something was pierced into that area by sharp objects. Bakugo then takes a look.

"Yeah, looks like some claw marks," Bakugo replies, "You don't get marks like that without clawing something down there."

"But this isn't right, someone who has claws?" Izuku replies, "Does someone have a claws quirk and a super strength quirk? Unless the culprit is extremely strong or has claws without a quirk, I doubt they can make this mess."

"I agree with you there," Bakugo replies. "You! Officer! How many people have this quirk-"

"Wait! With this much damage, and that wall also being broken down with that much power, it might not be a Super Strength quirk, because they have a long cooldown." Izuku blurts out in sudden remembrance of the Super Strength quirk.

"But you said yourself that only the quirk can work like this." Bakugo responds, "Don't you think that two people with the same quirk can achieve this?"

"True," Izuku replies.

Suddenly an officer goes to the other officer and whispers something into his ear and gives him a bag with a piece of paper in it.

"Hey. We got something just now." The officer replies and hands over the bag to Bakugo and Izuku.

"What is it?" Izuku asks.

"A message..." The officer replies, "...from the killer."

"What!?" Bakugo replies with anger and he takes the bag forcibly from the officer.

The note appears as a letter addressed to the heroes and is covered in blood. the contents of the note read as follows:

"Dear Izuku Miydoriya and Katsuki Bakugo,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today to address the current situation that has been unfolding. I have taken the time to study your weaknesses, and I know exactly how to exploit them. You are no match for my strategic thinking, and I am confident that resistance is futile.

I must stress that you have a limited window of opportunity to comply with my demands. After that, the consequences will be...unpleasant. I am not interested in negotiations or mercy. I will have the League of Villains attack when you refuse to submit.

I want to emphasize that I am not someone to be underestimated. I am a force to be reckoned with, and I will not be ignored or disobeyed. I expect cooperation and compliance from you, and I will not hesitate to take drastic action if necessary.

Do not think that you can outsmart or outmaneuver me. I have the upper hand, and I will not hesitate to use it. You have a choice to make: surrender now or face the consequences of my wrath.

Sincerely,

The Grim Mutation."

The terrifying and ominous words that seep into the minds of the two heroes would bring a whole new set of questions into their minds, with frustration and anger clouding their minds.

"WHO THE F*CK IS THIS!?" Bakugo replies.

"It was just found under the trash can." The officer replies.

"So this Grim Mutation is the one responsible for this. And they seem to have the League of Villains under their thumb." Izuku replies.

"Which makes the connection between these murders and the attack yesterday. They are both probably orchestrated by this Grim Mutation," Bakugo replies, "Oh, I make this Grim Mutation into Grim Pieces, 'cuz I'll blow them to pieces!"

"But, the question remains, Why sent us a message after the murder? And why commit these murders and the attack yesterday?" Izuku asks."It all just seems too random."

"Obviously, there's a connection there, stupid Deku!" Bakugo responds, "There won't be a reason to do both of those things if the two aren't tied together."

"Which leads us to the motive, What can yesterday's attack bring to the table on the reason for the murders?" Izuku replies.

Izuku and Bakugo head to the officer and ask him, "Officer, Can you give us a list of every detail you find about the body?"

"Yes." the Officer replies, "We'll send one to you, once we find out about every detail on the body."

"We need to get this..." Izuku says as he takes a photo of the note, "...to the others and explain our findings! Now!"

Izuku and Bakugo left the scene and left the officer vexed about it due to his confusion. As the two leave the place they are being spied upon by the Mysterious Villain, or rather, the Grim Mutation, on top of a tall building with binoculars. Then, Shigaraki stands behind them with confusion.

"Why have me write that letter down?" Shigaraki asks, "Wouldn't that get them on our tails?"

"Them getting on our tails is the point." Grim Mutation replies, "Besides, they'll figure it out, in the end, either way, and at this point, we have collected enough follicles to power the country of Japan ten times over. Now we move and have the Follicles transported to a secure location, I'll send you details and coordinates tonight."

"Coordinates?" Shigaraki asks.

"We are transitioning to Phase Two." Grim Mutation replies as they leave the building and throw a set of keys to Shigaraki.

The First step in the grand schemes of the mad villain, Grim Mutation, has been completed. Now, sooner or later the great confrontation between light and dark, yin and yang, will commence. Two opposites. Bound for struggle. Soon will begin. Grim Mutation is certain of this, as their eyes glow with fiery determination.
