AN – As mentioned, these are various blurbs and ideas I've had, written over the course of the six-ish(?) years I've been writing for this series and this franchise.

I've tried to clean these up somewhat, but I figure what's here is complete enough and/or entertaining enough to warrant posting.

Hope you enjoy.

Chika and the Chocolate Factory

Synopsis:

Mari owns the world's largest, luxurious, and greatest chocolate factory in the world. She runs it with a workforce of seals.

Chika, You, Hanamaru, Ruby, and Kanan win the five golden tickets needed to partake in the tour. Dia shows up alongside them, demanding to be Ruby's chaperone. Mari is cool with it.

Kanan has some history with Mari which would've been explored in the story after I bothered to think up specifics. Basically they're exes.

Maybe the other members of Guilty Kiss work with Mari because even she can't run an entire factory with only seals.

.

Scene 1:

When Chika unwrapped a bar of her favorite chocolate brand, the last thing she expected to find was a golden ticket staring back at her.

She gasped as the implications hit her. She had to tell someone. She had to tell someone now! And who better to tell than her best friend, You?

As she hurried to You's house, she ran straight into the brunette, the two of them landing together in a tangle of limbs. But not even a fall could dampen her excitement, and Chika held up her golden ticket to show, a bright smile on her face.

...only for her face to fall into an expression of confusion as You held up her own golden ticket, doubtlessly wanting to show off to her best friend as well.

.

Scene 2:

"My little sister is still underage. I demand you allow me to accompany her as her guardian!" said Dia with arms crossed.

The blonde chocolatier hummed in whimsical consideration as she looked over the ravenette, giving her a complete walk around before offering a nod. "Okay!" she chirped.

"Just like that?" wondered You aloud.

"Of course! This may be the world's biggest and best chocolate factory, but I can always use more eye candy." Mari turned a flirtatious gaze at Dia, one that was met with an unflinching stare and a face with only the faintest hints of a blush.

.

Scene 2.1:

Mari's face fell into a frown as she looked upon the fifth golden ticket winner, a tint of disapproval entering her golden irises. "Kanan," she spoke.

"Mari," returned the blunette, equally terse.

"What are you doing here?"

"I won a ticket. I'm here for the tour."

"Don't play coy. Why are you really here?"

"Someone wouldn't return my calls. I figured I should come in person."

"Someone was rather busy running a chocolate factory you know. And someone else's calls were a little too overbearing for my taste."

For a while, the two simply held gazes, not quite glaring but certainly not amicable by any means. Eventually, Mari broke off. "Well then! I think it's time I start this tour," she declared.

.

Scene 3:

As she beheld the candified parody of a park populated with specially-trained worker seals, Dia only had one thought on her mind. "This cannot possibly conform to government mandated health and safety regulations."

"Oh it doesn't," admitted Mari freely, "But let's keep that to ourselves, shall we?" She winked, placing a finger over her lips to beckon their silence.

Dia turned to her sister. "Ruby. From now on you are not to eat anything made by this factory ever again."

.

Scene 4:

"Wait a minute!" snapped Dia. "You spend the entire tour flirting with me, and then when I finally start thinking this might work you suddenly decide to leave me hanging?"

"You... you're actually considering it?" asked Mari, flabbergasted.

Dia looked to her feet as a light blush crossed her face. "Well... yes," she admitted shyly.

Mari gasped at how cute Dia became. She turned to Kanan with pleading eyes. "Kanan! Can we keep her?! Please?!"

The blunette chuckled easily. "Only if she wants to." Kanan went up to the older sister, looking her up and down in appreciation. She held out her arms. "Would you like a hug?"

Another ChikaYou

Synopsis: Takes place during season 1, episode 11. This was intended to rationalize why she never opened up to You about her problems.

(Chika feels conflicted about You mimicking Riko's steps); "Why can't we get it right? Why does it need to be like this?"

(Riko responds): "Because neither of you are being honest with each other. And I don't think either of you have been honest with each other for a while now."

"...What?"

"Do you remember when we came back from Tokyo with zero votes? Why wouldn't you tell You-chan how you were feeling? She asked after you often enough. She asked after you more than everyone else combined. So why didn't you say anything?"

"..."

"Chika-chan?"

"I told you then, didn't I? If I couldn't smile, I didn't think anyone else would smile either."

Riko sighed softly. "Now you're not being honest with me," she chided gently. "I'll believe that for why you didn't tell the other girls, but you never talked with You-chan about it. Not once. You never called her, or spoke to her in person, or even texted her. I know because not long after we all met at the beach, she thanked me for finally getting you to admit your true feelings. So again, why didn't you say anything?"

"...I was scared."

"Of your best friend?"

"Of... of..." Chika let out a resigned sigh as she started over. "For the two of us, it's always just... been this way, you know? Like, I'm always the upbeat, positive one and she's always there to make sure I don't hurt myself, and she can do anything!

It's never been like this; I've always been the one to comfort her in the past when things don't work out. I'm not the smartest, or the strongest, or the cutest. My positive energy is all I have going for me. If I don't even have that... What am I good for? I don't want to lose her. You-chan's too important to me to ever risk losing her!

She... she gave up swimming to be a full time member of Aqours you know! I can't just face her like that! If I can't even smile for her, this would have meant nothing! She could've been high diving for the national Olympic team, but instead, I'm holding her back, tying her down to a school idol group that can't even get a single vote!

She could have done so many amazing things instead of being here, with me..."

Eating Contest

"Immediately rejected!" snapped Dia, slamming a fist on the table.

"But Dia!" protested Mari in her usual mischievous way, "Just think of all the money we could raise!"

"I completely agree with Dia-san," contributed Riko, face reddening at the very thought. "There's no way!"

"Eh? I guess," said Kanan nonchalantly, "Though I'm honestly fine with it."

"Ah, not everyone has as much experience with water as we do, Kanan-chan," added You. "So I'll have to veto as well." Next to her, Ruby nodded emphatically.

"I guess that settles that," summed up Chika. With a small sigh of disappointment, she crumpled up the small slip of paper with the words 'Wet T-Shirt Contest' on it and threw it in the trash.

A couple weeks ago, the school idols of Uranohoshi had received an official email outlining the requirements for the next round of Love Live. Aside from the usual guidelines such as performing an original song with original outfits and a unique venue, there was also an additional bullet point. Namely, that each school idol group had to perform in some sort of external outreach activity, whether it was performing at an underground nightclub or helping a rural village construct a new well. (The instructions didn't specify how well they had to do in their chosen tasks, just that they tried.)

The girls of Aqours had all agreed that raising money for charity should be a key focus of their activity, but were still at a loss as to what they could possibly do. So, like any good senpai with access to a school's headmaster position, Mari had forced every student in the entire school to write down suggestions for them.

In addition to Wet T-Shirt Contest, some of the other immediately rejected submissions had been: Mud Wrestling, Bunnygirl Cafe, Topless Tuesdays, and Sensual ASMRs.

Apparently their school was filled with a bunch of perverts.

"What's next?" asked Kanan.

Hanamaru hummed thoughtfully as she stuck her hand into the box that contained the paper slips. "Ah, this is the last paper, zura," she reported.

"Seriously?! We've gone through all of them already?" exclaimed Yoshiko.

"Well, Dia-san keeps hitting them with the ban hammer," quipped Chika.

"The what...?"

"Maru-chan, don't keep us in suspense! What's the answer to all our problems?" asked Mari.

Hanamaru unfolded the paper and what she saw made her eyes light up. She held up the paper for everyone to see. "Eating contest, zura!"

For a while, no one said anything. Then...

"That's a great idea!" cried Chika.

"So simple, yet so elegant!" added Mari.

"I don't know if I'd want to do it myself, but I think it might be fun to watch..." supported Ruby quietly.

"We can live stream it to all our fans online too!" enthused Yoshiko.

All around the table, everyone broke out into praise for this saving idea, this single suggestion they could use to raise money for charity. Everyone loved it without question. Everyone but...

"Um, how exactly would this work?" interjected Riko as she raised her hand. "And who specifically would be competing?"

"Let's do one person from each year!" suggested Chika.

"If we're doing it that way, then Zuramaru should represent the first years," said Yoshiko.

Next to her, Ruby nodded in agreement. "Maru-chan will win for sure!"

The brunette in question chuckled sheepishly. "Yoshiko-chan, Ruby-chan, you give me too much credit, zura~!" she said, obviously pleased.

"In that case, Mari-san shall represent the third years," declared Dia.

"Absolutely!" agreed Mari. "I'm half-American. Eating contests are practically in my blood!"

"I thought you were half-Italian...?" questioned Riko.

The blonde shrugged carelessly. "It doesn't really matter. What's important is that I'm half-Japanese and half something else. No one really cares what that something else is."

"Is this racism?!" exclaimed Riko.

"And who will represent the second years?" asked Kanan, completely ignoring the redhead's outburst.

"I think there's only one person that could properly represent us in an eating contest," said Chika, turning her gaze to her bright-eyed best friend. The brunette met her gaze and calmly nodded her assent, and Chika broke out a grin.

Then, as one, the two turned back to the rest of the table and chorused, "Riko-chan!"

Riko blinked.

"Eh? EHHHHHHHH?!"

.

Omake:

Riko groaned as she held her stomach. "WHY?! You-chan, why did you make me do this? Is it because I stole Chika-chan from you so you wanted to get me fat so Chika-chan wouldn't be attracted to me anymore?

"Of course not, silly Riko-chan!" You came close and leisurely wrapped an arm around the redhead's waist. "I wanted to get you fat so there'd be more Riko-chan to love!" she said, gently squeezing one of Riko's love handles.

Riko was not amused.
