Yeah, I'm alive. Shocker, I know. Anyway, I unfortunately don't have any story updates. Real life has been very busy for me, and I don't have the time or energy to write that I used to. But that doesn't mean that I don't have ideas. My mind is seemingly incapable of stopping, of not coming up with interesting fanfic ideas based on things I like. But since I don't have time anymore, I can't devote myself to stories like I used to.

That's when I had the idea to let others do it for me. Kinda.

What I'm going to do is write down some of the ideas that have been bugging my noggen for a while and seeing if anyone is interested in taking them. They could mix stuff around, do things differently, or ignore my suggestions, all of that is fine. I can't write them, so I won't be controlling.

All I ask for from anyone who takes an idea from here is that they PM me the story title. I want to read it.

With that out of the way, let me jot down the ideas I have for Mass Effect Crossovers.

Planet of The Apes

Since its inception, Cerberus has been interested in the potential of humanity. More specifically, they wanted to see humanity without weakness. Deteriorative brain diseases being one of those weaknesses.

On the abandoned colony world Heston, Cerberus had intended to create a cure to maintain healthy brains for an entire lifetime. The project had millions thrown at it. Equipment, personnel, and test subjects were handed readily. However, the project was shut down and abandoned after too many failures.

A decade later, the SR2 Normandy received a mistaken distress call from the abandoned colony. When Shepard and the squad arrive, they are met by the freed test subjects.

The project failed to save humanity. But it improved the intelligence of the test apes, enhancing their minds to sapient levels. Intelligence that they used to escape confinement and create a home on the new planet.

Shepard would leave the colony with no intention to reveal them. But the Reapers have other plans.

(The main story idea is set on Mass Effect 3. The Apes are split between Caesar and Koba. Koba joins the Reapers hoping to wipe out humanity. Caesar and his Apes join with the Alliance in hopes of fending off Cerberus, defeating certain death at the hands of Reapers, and securing their right to live. Plenty of conflicts arise)

God Of War

Kratos saw the monster he became. The devastation he had brought to his home. Unwilling to continue living, he had hoped that giving hope to the world would end with his removal from it.

Instead, he awoke mere moments later in a reality far larger and stranger than the one he had destroyed. And he is here to answer a simple question.

Can a monster be redeemed?

Cursed to still bear the Blades of Chaos, Kratos will meet a crew of unique individuals in their quest to safeguard their existence. A fight he is drawn to.

(Kratos would still be a jerk, but haunted by his choices as well. He would try to rely only on guns, but the blades will forever call to him. And in the end, he has to choose what sort of God he can be in this new Galaxy).

Transformers

Cybertron is almost dead. The war that has stretched for millions of years is finally taking its toll on the planet. The Energon that once gave it life is almost gone, and the core is too unstable to last more than a few centuries. These circumstances, plus a casualty list that is ever-growing, compel Optimus Prime to do something that no other Cybertronian has ever done:

Seek out help from the Galaxy.

But as he and the Autobots leave their home in search of allies, they come to realize ho outdated and useless their initial intel was. Organic races have develop their own galactic civilizations, and they have spread themselves and their weaponry in ways they had not accounted for. Additionally, their governing bodies are too much like the old Cybertronian council: constantly bickering, and blind to the true problems at work.

Optimus and his comrades will have to learn to work with the new races. They will have to prove themselves better than past Synthetics. And once Commander Shepard stands before the Citadel Council, they will have to prepare to fight not just the Decepticons, but also the Reapers.

The Last Servants of Unicron.

Spider-Verse

During the chase out of Spider-Society, Miles aimed some of his Venom Blast at Miguel's watch instead of his whole body. The result was a malfunctioning watch sending Miguel out of his original universe and into a very different future.

One he greets by smashing a Collector's head against a wall.

Forced to work with the Normandy until he can repair his watch and go home, Miguel finds himself surrounded by unique individuals who all question his worldview and methods. Some in ways he can't easily rebuke.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners

Having lost his mother, David didn't have many options if he wanted to survive on Omega. So he did the best thing he could.

Sign up for an experiment that would take him off-world. Unfortunately, commissions in the sign-up sheet led to one of the most painful experiences in David's life. One that only got better when he met a Biotic named Lucy. While the rest of the subjects tried to kill each other, they found ways to work together and escape.

Now on the Citadel, they have to find new ways to survive and hide. David has his speed, and Lucy has biotics. But with new threats constantly emerging, they might get dragged into more problems than they would like.

As I said, these ideas are open to anyone who wants to take them. All I want to do is read the ideas if they get written.

In the meantime, I will try to see if I can put together any updates for my stories. Right now, Alpha Punk, Jira Khan, and Scarlet Scarab seem the most likely to get more chapters. But I can't make promises.

Until next time!
