He waited in the car, eager to see his new college. And this boy's name was Woda. His parents, who were in their 50's, happened to get Woda in this college that he heard many great things about. Now, he's going to take in the experience that many have had. He had heard some good, and some bad stories about the people he's about to go to college with. He wanted to be ready for any challenge they threw at him.
So, here he is, at a red light. He has been waiting for this day for a long time. It had felt like years to him, but it was only a few months. He had a lot of mixed emotions. He was excited, nervous, anxious, and worried all at the same time. And here he is. The college. Woda took a deep breath as he parked the car in the parking lot. He looked over at his dad. He was looking around at the area with a huge grin on his face.
"This place looks amazing!" His dad yelled with joy. "You're going to love it here!"
Woda grinned as he stepped out of the car and unpacked his belongings.
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah." Woda said. As he walked in to see his dorm, the opening door showed an incredible amount of people. People he had never met before. He felt a little uneasy.
"Well, I guess I better get going." His dad said. "See you later."
"Bye dad." Woda waved.
"Have fun, okay?"
"Yeah, I will." Woda nodded.
After a quick hug, his dad left. Leaving him alone. All alone. Woda took a quick look around the room. Woda sighed, "Well, guess I'll have to fit in..." He thought.
There were two beds. One was messy, and the other was clean and tidy. Woda guessed that this must be the bed he was assigned. It was a bunk bed. The one that was clean and tidy belonged to a person named Ren. Ren Amamiya. That's the name of his roommate. Woda put his stuff away in his drawer, and then laid down on the bed. He closed his eyes, and tried to think of what tomorrow was going to bring. He heard a knock on the door. Woda walked towards the door, and opened it.
"Hey, have you seen Ren? I was gonna play Smash Bros. with him! I bet he can't take out as many stocks as how many chili dogs I eat per day!" Sonic exclaimed.
"He's not here." Woda told him.
"What!? Oh, well, I'm not giving up! I'll keep searching for him! You just stay right here and I'll come back for him when I find him!" Sonic exclaimed. "Oh, and I met him today! You should see him lurking through the halls. Gotta run!" Sonic ran off.
Woda shrugged.
Woda then looked at the clock. 12:30. He's got a little bit of time. He decided to take a nap. He laid back down and closed his eyes. He dreamed of a town where nothing was bad...
...
KNOCK KNOCK!
Woda jolted up as he walked towards the door again. This time, someone else.
"Hey, the name's Apollo." Apollo introduced himself.
"Lemme guess, you're an eagle." Woda rhetorically asked.
"WA-! How'd you know that?!" Apollo's expression quickly shifted to being confused, as Woda gave a blank stare at him.
"Pretty cranky to me." Woda slammed the door near Apollo's face.
Woda walked back to his bed.
"I've got to figure out how to control that." Woda told himself. "That was a little too harsh."
Woda sat on the bed and looked at the clock.
