Chapter One: The Big Move
"Hello everybody!" Gru says as he comes walking into the house with groceries.
"Gru you're here!" Edith shouts happily.
"What's shaking in the Gru house?" Gru asks as Agnis runs over to him with her pet Lucky.
"Look what I taught Lucky! Lucky sit... Aww Lucky I said sit. Well it was only his first lesson." Agnis says as Lucky poops on the floor before licking her face.
"Maybe we practice outside from now on?" Gru asks as he begins putting groceries away.
"There's my favorite husband. Did you remember to get the milk?" Lucy asks.
"Oh yes. They had a few kinds." Gru says as he pulls out different kinds of milk.
"That's a lot of milk." Alexis says.
"Yes it is." Gru says as he smiles.
"What about regular milk?" Lucy asks.
"They don't make that anymore. Wait a minute. Four girls. One beautiful wife. Something is missing." Gru says as the girls laugh.
"No I uh think that's all of us. Oh you know what I keep forgetting. This guy!" Lucy says as she turns around to show Gru Jr. strapped in a holder on her back.
"Oh there's my boy!" Gru says happily as he tries to show affection to Gru Jr. only to be met with annoyance from the baby before hearing the doorbell as Alexis goes over and opens the door to see Mr. Ramsbottom.
"Ramsbottom?" Gru asks as he and the others come over.
"Bottom." One of the minions says as he and the other minions laugh.
"I need a word with you both. There's no time to chit chat. Maxime has sent you a word from prison." Mr. Ramsbottom says as he shows a cockroach man claiming revenge on the family and that he will escape.
"Don't worry. He can't get out of there. It's a maximum security prison." Gru says reassuringly as he looks at Lucy.
"As yes well he escaped yesterday." Ramsbottom says.
"What!?" Gru asks in alarm.
*Timeskip*
"I still can't believe we're leaving mom. I didn't like us leaving our first home to move in with Gru and the girls and I don't like this." Alexis says as she is helping Lucy finish packing the car as the others come out as some agents are taking the pets and most of the minions away.
"Alexis sweetie I know it's been tough since it went from being the two of us ever since I adopted you all that time ago but I promise it'll be okay. You did so great with adjusting to life with Gru and the girls and you'll do great now. Just think of it like a new adventure." Lucy says as she smiles at Alexis.
"Come on guys. Time to go." Gru says as everyone gets in the car with Mr. Ramsbottom and leaves with him.
