Angelica wiped her hands on a tea towel, then threw it on the kitchen table before entering the large living room, pausing to narrow her eyes at her mate, who was looking through the news on his tablet in an armchair, while Victoria played with her toys at his feet.

She didn't say a word, smiling blissfully as she watched the two of them.

"You be careful, Angel," Klaus told her without looking away from the screen. "I'm too sexy to look at."

The spell was broken as she made her way across the living room, picking up some of the toys that Victoria wasn't playing with. "Or you could think too highly of yourself, Mikaelson."

He smirked and looked over her body. She wore a white tank top and purple yoga pants, and ever since the birth of their daughter, she'd become curvier, something that didn't bother him one bit.

"I hope you haven't forgotten about my dinner invitation tonight?" Klaus questioned with a smirk.

"No, of course I didn't," Angelica shook her head, biting her lips and narrowing her eyes at him.

"Good." Klaus nodded and went back to his tablet.

"So…" she said after fluffing a pillow to give herself time to think. "Where are we going?"

"Well, it wouldn't be a surprise, if I told you, now would it?" He winked at her.

"Yeah, sure," Angelica nodded, crossing both arms in front of her chest. "Just so you know, I have my eyes on you, Klaus Mikaelson!"

"Why?" Klaus asked. "You watching me in a French restaurant won't get you pregnant with my swimmers, now will it, sweet pea?" He paused. "I promise you're safe. No danger from me tonight." He paused and got close. "Maybe I should ask you the same thing. Am I safe from you, Angel?"

Angelica scoffed. "Well, duh! Do you know how much I'd have to drink to do something so…so…"

"Just wanted to check because you know what they say about people acting out their true feelings when they have alcohol in them." He winked and went back to his reading as she glared at him.

She blushed and shook her head, letting out a sigh of relief. She was being a complete fool! What could happen at the restaurant if they were eating the whole time? Surely he wasn't foolish enough to try and pull anything in public. She just needed to calm down and enjoy a night out with him, even though she'd forgotten to get her new box of birth control from the pharmacy, and it was probably still there waiting for her.

"Angel? Angel?" She blinked, realizing Klaus was calling her name. "What?"

"The doorbell is ringing," he grinned. "Want me to go get it?"

"No, I will," Angelica nodded resolutely. "I'll get it." She leaned down to kiss the top of Victoria's head, then went to open the door, surprised to see her mother on the other side. "Mom! What a surprise! Aren't you supposed to pick Victoria up later in the evening?"

"Happy to see you too," Eleanor teased. "If you want, I can just leave and come back."

"No, no, that's not what I meant. Angelica kissed her mother on both cheeks. "Come in, come in! Klaus, my mother is here!"

Klaus waved. "Hello, Eleanor. Nice to see you!" He grinned at the brunette.

Then Angelica looked her mother over. "Are those the same clothes you wore yesterday?" She asked, confused.

"What do you have against these clothes?" Eleanor asked defensively as she looked away.

"How's Julian?" Klaus asked with a smirk.

"Oh, he's fine," she sighed. "It's not like I can hide anything from you."

"Don't blame yourself," Klaus winked. "I've been around for a long time. Much longer than you."

"I had car problems as I drove Diana back to her father's," Eleanor admitted.

"Why didn't you call me or Klaus?" Angelica asked her mother. "We would have helped! There was so much rain yesterday!"

"Luckily, I managed to get the car started again," Eleanor assured her. "And then I got Diana back to the house but…then I fell asleep and spent the night at his house."

"Here's another bit of news I didn't know before now," Klaus said as he raised the tablet in the air. "This year, the price of apples will increase."

Angelica rolled her eyes and threw a pillow at him.

"Be nice," Klaus chided, clicking his tongue and smirking. "Or no dessert for you tonight!"

"Then be nice to my mom," Angie snapped. "Show her some respect!"

"I don't mean to disrespect you, Eleanor," Klaus told Angelica's mother. "I really am fonder of you than her father."

Angelica rolled her eyes.

"But you do remember that I've been around for centuries," he continued. "It was obvious that you and Julian would get back together eventually. It's a good idea. He's an amazing guy and I'm thrilled that you're frolicking again after all you've been through. It's more than what me and your daughter are doing!"

Eleanor snorted and lowered her head so she could be saved from seeing the look on her daughter's face…at least for a few seconds before she caught Angelica's eye and burst out laughing. "Julian and I aren't back together, Klaus. I respect you a lot too, Klaus. But I would prefer if you would refrain from saying things about me and Julian that aren't true."

"I can see how you and Angelica are related now," Klaus nodded. "She prefers to lie to herself too."

"Sometimes I just want to kill him on the spot!" Angelica muttered through clenched teeth.

"You wouldn't do that to our daughter," he pouted adorably as he picked their daughter up. "She would miss her daddy so much!"

"Anyway," Eleanor cleared her throat and tried to change the subject because it looked like her daughter was about to commit murder. "I thought I could pick up Victoria earlier and spend more time with her so you can have more time to prepare for your special night. Would that work for you?" She shrugged.

"That would be wonderful," Angelica smiled and picked her daughter up off the rug, handing her to her grandmother. "That'll give me time to have a good long soak."

"Thank you, Eleanor," Klaus added. "We appreciate what you're doing." He stood up and started to follow Angelica out of the room before Eleanor stopped him by putting a hand on his arm, her dark eyes sparkling mischievously. "Before we all go off to our evenings, I have to know…what are your intentions with my daughter?" She teased.

"My intentions?" He replied solemnly as he put a hand over his heart. "I give you my word that my intentions with your daughter are honorable." He winked.

Eleanor tried to wink back, but Angie interrupted them. "Thank you, Mom," She said, grabbing Victoria's overnight back and handing it to her mother as she walked both her mother and daughter to the door. "And next time, call me or Klaus if you have car problems, all right?"

"I will," Eleanor promised and gave her daughter a kiss.

"Or you could just keep calling Julian!" Klaus shouted with a smirk. "I'm sure he would rush to save you."

Angie turned and made her way back to him. "You! I don't trust you one bit."

"I think you should take that bath now, love," he said with a smile. "It would do your tense muscles a world of good. In fact, if you wanted, I could join you and give you a good, thorough scrub?"

"No!" Angelica shook her head and made her way to the stairs as his laughter rang in her ears.

Angelica stood in front of the full-length mirror in the bedroom, a hand placed over her beating heart. Klaus hadn't told her much about their date tonight, so she didn't even know where they were going, but he had mentioned a few days ago that she had to dress chic, so that was something. She had rushed to her favorite designer store and picked out a new dress.

But now, as she looked at it, she wondered if she'd gone too far. Maybe a black velvet bustier dress with a deep neckline and showed off her shoulders with cutouts that hugged her body liked a second skin…was it too much?

Maybe? But at the same time, she looked like a million bucks! It was such a tough decision!

"Fuck it," she whispered. "I'll wear the damn dress!"

Then she headed to her closet to grab a pair of black Louboutin high heels, dropping them on the floor and stepping into them, then headed back to the mirror to take one more look at herself.

She'd blow dried her hair to show off her natural curls that flowed down her shoulders. She'd made up her eyes and put on plum lipstick to give herself a more sophisticated look. A look that shouted drop dead sexy bombshell!

Angelica giggled, excited at the prospect of spending a whole evening alone with Klaus. Of course, they were living together now, but she still got butterflies in her stomach every time he smiled at her Everything seemed like a dream that she would soon wake up from, realizing that the legendary hybrid king had chosen her.

Hands shaking, she grabbed a bottle of perfume off the dresser, putting some on her wrists and behind her ears before she grabbed her clutch bag and walked down the hall to the big living room.

"Klaus? I'm ready!" She yelled.

But she was met with silence. Then she headed back to the kitchen, and then the office. No sign of him in either of those places.

It took all the restraint Angelica had not to bite her newly polished nails to cope with the nervousness she felt since Klaus seemed to have disappeared out of thin air. She looked a little longer. What if something had happened? What if her father had gotten hold of him somehow and…

No! Taking a deep breath, she ran back to the living room and finally noticed a small envelope with her name on it and a red rose placed on top. She quickly grabbed the envelope and tore it open to read the note inside.

Don't be scared, Love. I haven't disappeared. I just wanted to give you a wonderful surprise. Enjoy, relax, and we'll see each other very soon.

Kisses,

Klaus

Letting out a sigh of relief, she put the envelope down and inhaled the sweet scent of the rose, but nearly jumped out of her skin when the doorbell rang. Curious about who it was, she grabbed her clutch bag, keeping a firm grip on the rose as she hurried to answer the door.

"Klaus!" She cried without looking at the person on the step, then quickly sobered when she saw a strange man in a black suit staring back at her. "Yes?"

"Good evening, Madame," the man said courteously. "My name is Roger and I'm going to be your limousine driver tonight. If you're ready, I'll drive you to your destination where Mr. Mikaelson is awaiting you."

"Oh?" Angelica leaned forward and looked over his shoulder to see the long white car parked in the street in front of her house. "I didn't know you'd be here. Sure…sure I'll come with you." She closed the door behind her and followed the chauffeur to the limo, a smile on her lips. She shouldn't have been surprised that it appeared Klaus Mikaelson never did anything halfway.

The chauffeur switched on the light as he lowered the divider to look at his passenger in the backseat, a grin on his lips. "We're here, Madame."

"Hmmm…thank you." She blushed and stuffed another canape into her mouth. "I'm sorry, everything looked so good that I had to try it. And I had some champagne too."

"Of course, Madame," Roger nodded. "All the complementary food is from Mr. Mikaelson," he grinned. "He specifically asked that it be put in the limo for you."

"Makes sense," Angelica smiled. "He knows that love to eat good food." She gulped down a glass of champagne and wiped some crumbs off her dress and grabbed her clutch bag, quickly reapplying her lipstick.

"Like I was saying, we're here," Roger cleared his throat as he parked in front of the majestic hotel.

Angelica craned her neck and looked out, her jaw dropping in surprise and shock. "This is the Hotel Francois!"

"Yes it is, Madame," Roger nodded. "They have one of the best French restaurants in the country."

"One of the most expensive too," Angelica grinned.

"I couldn't say, Madame," Roger cleared his throat. "But it's certainly not a place I'd be able to eat with my wife."

"Well I hope you'll get a chance to someday," Angelica replied, putting the idea of getting him a gift certificate to this place in the back of her mind.

"Are you ready to get out, Madame?" Roger asked kindly.

"Yes, please," She nodded, grabbing her clutch and the rose. "I apologize for the delay."

"It's all right," he smiled and put up the divider between the front and back seats, stepping out to open the door for her.

She got out and made her way down the sidewalk were a red carpet welcomed guests and led to a waiting doorman.

"I hope you and Mr. Mikaelson have a pleasant evening," Roger told her.

"Thank you," Angelica told him and made her way to the front door.

"Good evening," the valet greeted her and opened one of the large French doors.

"Good evening," she returned with a smile and entered the restaurant, approaching the hostess.

"Hello," the woman greeted. "Do you have a reservation?"

"Actually, I'm meeting my hus-" she paused and closed her eyes. "My life partner. He has a reservation, probably under Klaus Mikaelson."

"Oh, of course, Mrs. Mikaelson," the hostess smiled back. "Welcome to Le Francois. Mr. Mikaelson is running a little late. He asked me to inform you that that you can wait for him at the bar. "It's this way." She pointed and Angelica saw what she meant.

"Thank you," Angelica nodded. "I will." She began making her way to the bar, placing her clutch on the counter. The bartender noticed her immediately. "Hello, Madam. What can I get you?"

"White wine, please," Angelica smiled and placed the rose beside the bag.

"There you go." She smiled as the wine was placed in front of her.

"Thank you." She nodded back.

As she sipped her wine, she let herself take in all the luxury around her. Then she put the glass down and brushed off her dress, drumming her nails on the wood. What was wrong with her? She looked like a teenager who was nervous on a first date. She turned her head as the hotel elevator opened and Klaus stepped out.

Her heart began pounding as she gasped. She watched him talk to the hostess who she'd spoken to earlier. He then smiled at her and came to join her at the bar.

Dear Grandpa! The sight of him was going to make her faint!

He was dressed all in black, matching blazer and trousers over a black silk shirt with the top buttons undone, showing his chest. A pair of black patent leather shoes finished the impeccably sexy look. His hair was still damp and curlier at the nape of his neck as if he'd just stepped out of the shower. He was wearing a gold Rolex that symbolized his classic, luxurious taste.

He stopped in front of her a smirk curving his full lips. She smiled back nervously and rubbed her hands together.

"Were you waiting here at the bar long?" He asked, giving her a hot look as if he wanted to eat her up like the most delicious dessert.

"No, no," she shook her head. "I just arrived.

He leaned close to her, his right hand going to her left hip, his lips brushing her earlobe.

She closed her eyes, as his heart skipped a beat, her whole body covered in goosebumps. He kissed her cheek softly and opened her eyes to meet his gray gaze.

"You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen," he murmured, taking Angelica's chin in his hand so he could kiss her softly.

She breathed heavily, but tried to calm herself down so he wouldn't think he had that much of an effect on her. "You know…you're not so bad yourself."

Not so bad? She shut her eyes tight and growled a little in frustration. Since when had she become the master of understatement? If they weren't in public, she'd jump his bones right now!

"Well, thank you," he smirked as he looked her over. "Is that a new dress? You look like something I could eat all day."

"This…this old thing?" She got out with a bright red, thinking all she could do was lie because she didn't want him to know she'd bought a new dress. "It…it…it's just something I th-threw on." She then continued to babble incoherently for a little longer before, mercifully, stopping herself.

"You look like a sweet treat I could eat all day. The dress is beautiful and fits you like a second skin," he complimented as he took a step back to bury his hands in his trousers.

Thank Steve!

"Oh, stop!" She waved his compliment away, averting his eyes.

"You can definitely rock a dress like this one, since you're a knockout, my angel," he winked.

She cleared her throat. "I saw you coming out of the elevator," she told him.

"Yeah," he smiled. "I took a quick shower and booked a room upstairs for us. That's so we can eat and really have the time to enjoy our evening." He grabbed her sweaty hand. "Nervous?" He caressed her cheek and smiled.

"What, me? No!" She lied through her teeth and grabbed the rose and clutch she'd left on the bar counter.

"You can put her wine on my bill," he said to the bartender. "Thank you."

"Of course, Mr. Mikaelson," the bartender nodded.

"You brought the rose," he observed, raising her right hand to kiss the inside of her wrist.

For fuck's sake, she needed to walk straight not just faint at his feet because he'd touched her skin with his lips.

"Yes," she got out, trying not to choke on her spit. "Thank you for giving it to me. It's beautiful!"

"Your legs are a vision in those shoes," he remarked as his gaze slid down her legs.

"I…I never have the chance to wear them," she remarked nervously and looked away.

"Right this way, please, Mr. and Ms. Mikaelson," the hostess said politely.

They walked through the restaurant before being seated at a table near the window. It was covered in a white table cloth and a large vase full of big red roses. As Angelica watched them with wonder, menus were put on the table.

"The waiter will be with you shortly," the hostess informed them.

"These flowers are beautiful," she remarked. "I don't see any other tables having a lot of roses like this." She thought out loud as Klaus pulled out her chair so she could sit.

"It's because the bouquet is from me, love," he whispered near her ear. "You can put the rose you bought inside the vase." He kissed her cheek and waited for her to sit down.

She sat, holding her breath, watching as he removed his blazer and rolled up the sleeves of his silk shirt before taking a seat across from her.

Fuck! She took a deep breath. She really was screwed!

"What kind of wine would you like, Mr. Mikaelson?" A smartly dressed server wearing all black and white with white gloves asked politely.

"Chateaux Margaux," Klaus said, choosing the most expensive wine on the menu.

"Very well sir. And for the entrée?" The server continued.

"I'll take the escargots…et pour le plat principal, le filet mignon," Klaus ordered in perfect French. "La cuisson saignante. I have a weakness for blood, among other things." He winked at Angelica, who smirked back and then hid her face behind her menu.

"And you, Madame?" The waiter asked.

"I'll take the French salmon tartare, a quiche Lorraine, some French onion soup…" she looked over the menu.

Meanwhile, the waiter was looking at Klaus in shock and horror.

As she set her menu on the table, she noticed their expressions. "What? Too much?" She felt uneasy.

"No," the waiter shook his head. "Of course not, Madame."

"My girlfriend loves food," Klaus explained. "A lovely big appetite." His gaze slid down her deep neckline to take a good look at her breasts. "Among other things that she's probably forgotten." He grinned. "Wouldn't you say that, love?"

Angelica coughed and covered her face with her menu so they wouldn't see her blushing and notice her shyness. Damn that Klaus Mikaelson!

"That'll be all for now," Klaus told the waiter. I'll take some time to think of the main courses, in plural. That will be all for now." He winked.

"Of course, Mr. Mikaelson," the waiter nodded. "I'll be back with your wine and bread." He gave them a nod and then disappeared from sight.

Once he was gone, Angelica reached for the single rose and put it in the vase with the others, smiling at him. "Thank you for the roses," she remarked. "They're beautiful."

"Not compared to you they're not!" Klaus replied. "And you're welcome."

Angelica looked away, wiping her sweaty hands on her dress. "And…um, well…thank you for the appetizers and champagne in the limo. They were…it was all delicious!"

"You're welcome," Klaus grinned. "I knew that you would be nervous, and I thought having a little snack would calm you down."

"You…you knew that about me?" She asked, surprised. "You know that I just…I eat? Like a lot? Like maybe too much? I'm surprised I'm not super fat and…"

"Of course, I knew that" he interrupted. "I know you better than you know yourself. And I like that you eat. It's great. You think I want to eat everything I cook by myself?" He winked. "Do you realize, Angelica…"

She was startled at his use of her full name as goosebumps covered her body. "Do I realize what?"

He smiled. "We never dated before, and that's why you deserve being spoiled with roses and fine wine and food."

"We didn't?" She bit her bottom lip and tried to remember.

"Nope, you couldn't stand me and I thought you were the most pretentious Daddy's girl I'd ever met." He chuckled. "The only reason I hadn't killed you is because you amused me and you had a very nice ass."

Angelica snorted. "Geez, thank you for the compliment." She rolled her eyes. "And just so you know, Mikaelson, it's not that I couldn't stand you. It's that I hated the sight of you." She stuck her tongue out at him. "But you had a nice ass too."

He threw his head back and laughed "I guess we could have made out in front of that ATM machine if we had known that we wanted to jump each other's bones, Angel."

"Did I say I wanted to jump your bones?" She rolled her eyes. "At the time, I thought you were too much of a peasant."

"And now?" Klaus asked with a grin. "Has anything changed?" He watched her reaction very closely. "Do you want to jump my bones?"

She was startled by his words. Her chest rising and falling and her heart pounding. He had never looked sexier or more manly than he did that night. "Klaus, please don't…" she begged and averted her eyes.

"That answers my question." A big grin curved his full lips. "What did you do to your hair, Angel?"

"Why?" She brushed her curls nervously. "Does it look bad?"

"No," he shook his head. "You're just extremely sexy with that hairdo," he pointed out. "And I don't think I need to say anything about that dress. You knew exactly what that dress would do to me when you bought it."

Angelica swallowed, blushing bright red, and breathing a sigh of relief as the waiter approached. "Look! Here comes our bread and wine!"

Klaus cut his filet mignon, stabbed a piece with his fork, and brought it up to his mouth, winking at Angelica as she chewed.

She smiled back and blushed a little as she brought her fork to her mouth.

"How's all your food, love?" He asked with a grin.

"Well," she swallowed her bite and gulped down half a glass of wine. "The salmon tartare is incredible, the French onion soup is simply divine, and the quiche Lorraine...yum is all I can say!"

"Happy to hear," he grinned and took the bottle away from her.

"What are you going?" She snapped. "Give that back!

"What are you doing?" Angelica gave him a look.

"Well, you've already had a glass and a half," Klaus pointed out. "I know firsthand how easily you get drunk. I don't want you to think I took advantage of you."

"I'm not a child, Klaus!" She huffed, placing two fists on the table. "I can so hold my liquor, thank you very much!" She narrowed her eyes at him. "And I wasn't aware that…that…" She stammered nervously.

"That…that…that…" Klaus teased.

"That you wanted to take advantage of me!" She spat.

"Only if you want me to." He paused and looked at her hopefully. "Do you want me to?" He tilted his head, looking her over and taking in her hair, shoulders, neckline, and rounded breasts.

"I…" she bit her bottom lip, unsure of what she wanted anymore.

"Mmmm…? What did you say?" He smirked.

"Nothing!" She snapped, angrily cutting into her chicken.

"As for holding your liquor, let me remind you that I saw first hand that you can't hold it at all." He rolled his eyes. "I had to drag you out of your brother's nightclub. And let me assure you that I will never forget the extremely erotic image of you lying on my sofa while…"

"Shush," she hissed, her face as red as a tomato. "Lower your voice please."

"Even him…" He gestured at his crotch. "Wee-wee would agree with me."

"Fine," she rolled her eyes. "I'll drink water then." She winced and gulped down the tasteless liquid.

Klaus chuckled and grabbed his cell phone as it vibrated, frowning as he looked down at the caller.

"Shit," he hissed.

"Everything okay?" Angelica asked worriedly. "Is something wrong with my mother or Victoria?"

"No, it's nothing you need to worry about, love. Just something that happened at the warehouse in Tokyo. I need to call back but it'll probably take some time." He stood up. "Sorry I have to do this now but it won't take forever." He leaned forward, grabbing her chin and kissing her gently. "Be a good girl, okay?"

"Aren't I always?" She looked away.

"Oh, I don't think I'll dignify that question with a response." He laughed and kissed her one more time.

Angelica watched him leave to take care of his business. Then, once he was gone, she drummed her nails on the table, looking around to make sure no one was staring at her before she filled her glass again. Then she gulped it down and refilled it.

"Oh, this feels good," she sighed and closed her eyes.

A little while later, the server returned. "Madame?" He asked. "Would you like something else while you wait for Mr. Mikaelson to return?"

"Yes," she opened her eyes and giggled. "Can you bing…bing…"

"Can I bing, Madame?" The server asked, confused.

"Bring, sorry," she cleared her throat. "I would like another bottle of this wonderful wine, please." She smirked.

"Of course, Madame." The waiter smiled and headed back to the bar as Angelica looked at herself in a spoon.

"I love me so much," she grinned at her reflection.

Once the call had ended, Klaus returned to the table and sat back down, setting his cell phone down on the table. "Sorry again for the delay, Angel," he apologized. "But luckily the problem was easy to solve over the phone."

Then he saw the three empty bottles of wine on the table and frowned. "What did you do?" He asked, picking up one of the bottles, horrified.

She giggled and leaned forward, whispering "I drinked them all!"

Klaus moaned and pinched the bridge of his nose as he muttered to himself. "Please tell me that you're joking, love. Please!"

"Three bottles of wine on the wall, three bottles of wine!" Angelica sang horribly loudly and off key.

"Well, shit," he murmured and called for their server, then whispered to Angelica as he made his way over. "No dessert for you," he told her. "Just lots of lots of coffee."

She bit her lip and smiled. "You want to know a secret?"

Klaus sighed. "Sure. Why the hell not?" He rolled his eyes and smiled at a nearby couple who was watching them worryingly.

"I…I thought your dick was the dessert!" She burst into laughter. Then she caught the eyes of the couple and whispered, while gesturing at Klaus. "He has a really big dick!"

"Oh, dear me," Klaus raised his eyes to the ceiling and prayed before giving the horrified man and woman a smile. "Please forgive my wife. It's our anniversary and she's been celebrating a little too much."

They nodded and gave him uneasy smiles before going back to her dinner.

"You called, Mr. Mikaelson?" The server asked cheerfully.

"Yes, I did," Klaus replied dryly. "Have you not noticed that my wife is drunk? Why does she have all this wine?"

"I'm so sorry!" The waiter exclaimed, horrified. "She told me that you would share one of the bottles and take the third home!"

"Well, they're gone now," Klaus told him. "She's finished them all." He put his cell phone in his pants pocket, then stood up to go to Angie's side of the table, grabbing her just in time to keep her from falling to the floor. "Just put everything on my tab, please," he told the very distressed waiter. "I think it would be best if I brought her to our room now."

"Of course," the server nodded. "And again, I'm so sorry about this."

"So am I," Klaus replied and then heaved a big sigh as he slid his arm around Angelica's waist to keep her upright.

Angelica giggled and pulled at his leather belt so she could look down his pants. "What? Where's the little bird?"

Even though it was an awkward, annoying situation, Klaus couldn't help but smile a little. When Angel was drunk like this, she was the funniest and most adorable woman. All of her insecurities were gone, and she finally allowed herself to express her deepest desires, which always had to do with him. But she could be a damn pain in the ass too. He couldn't deny that.

He grabbed her clutch bag, holding onto her tight so she could walk and not fall over.

At last, they reached the corridor leading to the elevator where a few others were waiting for the elevator to arrive.

They all stared at the new pair, not particularly happy about having to travel with a drunk woman. When the elevator door opened at last, they all got in and Angelic wrapped her arms around Klaus' neck, wrinkling her nose at a nearby man. "You…you have a big…a big nose and I don't like it!" She said firmly and stuck her tongue out at him.

Then she turned to Klaus. "You, on the other hand, are incredibly sexy and I want to eat you up!" She giggled wildly and rested her head in the crook of his neck.

The insulted man's wife frowned, watching Angelica with disdain. "Who do you think you are to talk to my husband like that?" She demanded, looking like she wanted to hit Angie with her purse.

"I'm incredibly sorry," Klaus apologized and held Angie close. "My wife is sick. Allergic to shrimp and had some accidentally. I have something I can give her, but it really messes her up. She has no idea where she is or what she's saying."

"So, you say," the woman replied dismissively.

"You should bring your wife to bed," the husband told Klaus suggested.

"Oh, I will," Klaus assured the poor man. "Believe me!"

Then, in the space of a few seconds, Angelica fell to her knees.

"No, no," Klaus shook his head. "You need to get up." Klaus tried not to think about everyone around them, watching with their eyes full of judgment. He tried to pull her to her feet, but she wouldn't budge.

"No!" She whined. "I want to see wee-wee! I miss him!" She began undoing his zipper. "Are you in there, wee-wee? It's been so long!" And since things couldn't get any worse, she began singing in a sultry voice, alluring even in her drunken state. "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir? Voulez vous coucher avec moi?" She giggled. "I want to put wee-wee in my mouth!" She looked up at him eagerly.

"Oh, for fuck's sake!" Klaus put a hand over his face, absolutely mortified. And that was saying something because mortifying Klaus Mikaelson was a very hard thing to do. "No, you can't do that, Angelica!" He slapped her hands away and grabbed her wrists to pull her up.

"I swear, I'm going to call the front desk and complain about this first thing in the morning!" The woman told her husband as the door opened and they ran out without another word.

"Are you happy?" Klaus carried Angie out of the elevator and set her down to get his bearings again. "You've been a very bad girl!"

"Oh?" She grinned, her tongue sliding over her bottom lip. "Do I get a spanking?" She chuckled. "Bad girls get spankings!" She began pulling up her dress before kissing him soundly. "Can we fuck now?"

"Oh, my love," he grinned. "You have no idea how much I want to fuck you, but…not like this. Not while you're drunk." Then he picked her up just in time for her to close her eyes and lose consciousness.

Klaus narrowed his eyes as he looked down at his tablet, reading a few work emails and seeing the news from the parts of the world that were awake, even as he sat in the middle of the night. He was shirtless and sitting up in bed with his back against the bed-frame, a pair of glasses perched on the edge of his nose.

"Mmmm…uhhhh!"

The sound, it seemed like either a lament or a zombie on the loose, he wasn't sure which, made him turn toward the bed and smile at Angelica, who'd awoken and was lying on her stomach, her head on the pillow.

"Well, look at that," he grinned. "My Angel is back among the living!" Then he set his tablet on his lap and waited for the response.

"What?" She asked, sounding absolutely clueless as she sat up and pulled the sheet over her naked body. "Where are we? What time is it? What happened?"

"We're at the Hotel Le Francois, sweetheart," he told her and grinned. "It's 1:30 in the morning. You were very and that very is emphasized, drunk. You insulted most of the hotel's clients, but…you gave my crotch a lot of attention so…that's all well and good." He chuckled and set his tablet on the bedside table. "Therefore…"

"Oh, shut up!" She groaned and put the pillow over her head. "You're talking too much and making my head hurt."

"My deepest apologies, Ms. Mikaelson," he told her with a smirk. "As for your headache, well…that's what happens when you're a very bad girl and drink three bottles of wine behind your man's back. Luckily, supernatural creatures get over hangovers a lot quicker than humans do."

He grabbed a glass of water that he'd put on the bedside table, along with two aspirins, and handed them to her.

"Thank you," she smiled, drinking some water and swallowing the caplets before handing the glass back to him and hiding under the pillow again.

Klaus just shook his head and put the glass back on the table, then got into the bed beside her, and watched as she gazed at him with eyes half-open. "Since when do you wear glasses?" She asked.

He chuckled and took them off, placing them on top of his tablet. "Well, Elijah has a strange habit of wearing glasses, but it makes him look very debonair, apparently, so I thought I would give it a try."

She smiled and there was a twinkle in her eye. "I like it, and I think you should keep it going. It suits you."

"Thanks," he winked.

She looked down at herself, then back up at him. "Why am I naked?" She asked.

"Well, your dress was much too beautiful to get wrinkled while you slept in a drunken heap, so I took it off you and hung it up in the closet." He paused. "I was really surprised when I saw you weren't wearing anything underneath."

"It's because of the cut-outs," Angelica explained. "I couldn't wear anything underneath it."

"You don't have to feel bad," he told her. "I mean, Angel, do you hear me complaining?"

"Okay," she took a deep breath. "Now that I've recovered, I think I'm ready to hear all the bad things I did when I was drunk. Go on. I can take it."

"How would you like me to tell you everything?" He asked. "In chronological order?"

"Klaus!" She growled impatiently and kicked the mattress.

"Well, all right," he nodded. "You told a man you didn't like his nose, sang loudly in an elevator full of people, and then got down on your knees in front of me and checked if wee-wee was still in my pants."

"Oh, dear Grandpa!" Angelica went pale, hiding under the pillow again. "I can't leave this room. But I'll have no other choice because I know they're gonna throw me out onto the street!"

Klaus scoffed. "Don't be silly. I'm one of their biggest clients! I give them thousands of dollars a year!"

"Did anything good come out of tonight?" She pleaded. "Or was it all just me humiliating myself?"

"Well," he grimaced and closed one eye. "You told a woman my dick was big. That's a compliment, right?"

"Damn, this is a nightmare!" Angelica began to sob uncontrollably. "I humiliated you. How will you ever forgive me for all I've done?"

"You're already forgiven, love," Klaus assured her, smiling as he slid his right hand under the sheet and gently caressed the small of her back. "And just so you know, if my dick is big, your ass is one of the most beautiful, perfect ones I've ever seen."

She laughed and turned to face him. "Thank you."

"But can you tell me why," he asked carefully, "why you need to drink so much?"

"I was nervous," she shrugged. "I still am."

"To be with me?" His eyebrows knitted in confusion. "Why? You know I would never force myself on you. You told me that you weren't ready to be intimate after you gave birth to Victoria and I respect that, even if I don't always understand it because I know you want me as much as I want you, Angel."

"That's right," she nodded, tears filling her eyes. "I do."

He brushed her tears away and then took her in his arms. "Wanna talk about it?" He whispered.

She shook her head and sniffled, looking away.

"That's fine, love," he cuddled her close. "You don't have to until you're ready. The aspirin should make you feel better."

She smiled at him, then gently grabbed his hand to kiss it.

That gesture, so unexpected, made him smile back as they stared at one another intensely. Then she slowly brought his hand under the sheet, sliding it down her belly and placing it between her legs.

He took a deep breath, his finger feeling the heat from inside her.

"Love," he whispered. "Are you sure? I'm not made of wood, you know."

"Make me feel better, please?" She begged, sliding his fingers over her folds. She was definitely wet.

He leaned forward and gave her a gentle kiss. "Are you wet for me?"

"Yes," she gasped. "Yes!"

Klaus chuckled. "You've been a bad girl. Why should I make you feel better?" He whispered, softly biting the line of her jaw as his fingers slowly entered her, his thumb stroking her clit.

"Because…because I need you," she moaned, flicking her hand so that any noises she made wouldn't be heard outside the doors. It was the least she could do after all the trouble she'd caused. Then she kissed him hard, panting.

"Good answer," he smirked and thrust harder. "Ride my hand, baby. Come for me, Angel."

She rolled her hips and kissed him again as he filled her entirely with his fingers. Then she leaned back against the pillow as her breathing picked up.

Then she cried his name as she felt release, her walls contracting all over his hand.

"Good girl," he whispered, and kissed her as her hands went down his bare chest.

She slowly opened her eyes and met his dark gaze. "Thank you."

"You're welcome," he smiled back. "Now, what would you say to repaying the favor?"

Klaus took Angelica in his arms, grabbing her ass within both hands as her legs wrapped effortlessly around his waist. He pushed her against the wall near the bathroom door, her nails digging into his muscular back, their lips never parting except as they kissed each other, only stopping for a few seconds every once in a while so they could breathe, in a never-ending stream of kisses. .

"Are you sure, Angel?" He asked softly, biting her lip. "I'll stop if you're not sure."

She panted heavily and nodded to reassure him. "I'm ready. Let's not wait another minute!"

"What are you ready for?" He asked. "I need dirty words, Angel." He slid demanding lips down her neck, making her whimper.

"I need you to fuck me!" She cried, her voice full of feeling as she grabbed a handful of hair at the nape of his neck.

He smirked. "That's more like it! But you know you've been a very bad girl and I think you need to be taught a lesson!" He slapped her bottom hard enough to make her cry out. "Tell me you want me to be bad to you."

"Yes!" She cried, biting into his earlobe. "Be bad to me, please!"

After turning the shower on, he went back to her and picked her up again, slowly pushing her inside. She let out a cry when her back touched the tiles and water began dripping down her hair and body.

Klaus' grayish eyes made up for lost time, immediately taking in her round, perky breasts as her nipples reacting to the water and his glance almost immediately. He grinned, raising his hand to stroke them and give them pinches that made Angelica gasp from the twinge of pain.

She bit her lip, resting her hand on the tile as she moaned.

"Good girl," she heard him whisper, feeling one of his hands slide down her belly to her pubic area before two of his fingers parted her folds.

"Klaus!" She cried as he rolled his thumb on her clit.

"Someone is dripping for me," he growled, biting into her shoulder. "You've been bad, Angelica. You've made me desire you for months, wanting to fuck you so bad. So thirsty for you…"

"Are you sure, Angel?" He asked, softly biting her bottom lip. "I'll stop if you're not sure.

She panted heavily and gave him a nod. "I'm ready. Let's go."

"What are you ready for?" Klaus grinned. "I need dirty words, Angel. He smirked, sliding demanding lips down her neck.

"I need you to fuck me," she cried passionately, grabbing a handful of his blond hair.

He smirked. "That's more like it! But you know you've been a very bad girl and I believe you need to be taught a lesson!" Then he slapped her bottom and made her cry out. "Say it, Angel. Say you need me to be bad to you."

"Yes!" She cried out and bit his earlobe. "I need you to be very bad to me!"

After turning the shower on, Klaus went back to her and picked her up again, grabbing her around the waist and slowly pushing her inside it. She let out a cry as her back touched the shower tiles and the water dripped down her hair and body.

Klaus' grayish gaze lost no time taking in her round, perky breasts, her nipples reacting to the water and his insistent glance almost immediately. He grinned and raised his hand to stroke them.

She shut her eyes and bit her lip, resting a hand on the tile as she moaned.

"Good girl," she heard him whisper, feeling one of his hands slide over belly and into her pubic area before two of his fingers parted her folds.

"Klaus!" She cried when he rolled his thumb on her clit.

"Someone is dripping for me," he growled, biting into her shoulder. "You've been bad, Angelica. You've made me desire you for months, wanting to fuck you. So thirsty for you…"

"I'm…I'm sorry…" she stammered.

He panted. "Sorry isn't enough, baby," he shook his head, dropping to his knees and raising her leg to set her foot on the shower bench.

She yelled his name immediately as he parted her legs to taste her, the hot water sliding down his hair and muscular back as he began to lick her to sexual release She gasped, closing her eyes and rolling her hips on his mouth, her hands pushing him closer to her center. His tongue parted her folds, dipping into the warmth of her walls. And with a gentle bite of her clit, she cried out as she came.

Then he stood up and grabbed her chin, kissing her. "You taste good, baby. Now, be a good girl, get on your knees, and return the favor."

She opened her eyes, and an evil smile curved her lips. "Be careful. I might bite."

"Is that a promise?" He winked.

She stared into his eyes, her hands sliding down his abs to grab his shaft.

"I believe the game has changed," she whispered in his ear, gently biting the lobe.

He then chuckled a little as she knelt before him to give him the same pleasure he'd given her.

He growled, his right hand grabbing the back of her head to gently push himself further into the warmth of her mouth.

Then he closed his eyes, a blissful smile curving his full lips. It appeared that his mate was turning herself into a good, obedient girl…and at least as far as this game of theirs was concerned, he couldn't be happier.

Angelica gasped for air, her butt cheeks pressed against the shower tiles, her palms on each side. Her legs were parted, and her red ass was raised in the air. He'd slapped her so hard that she'd almost come from that alone, but now his deep, hard thrusts inside her core were practically making her lose consciousness due to the intense sexual pleasure he was giving her.

He then thrust even harder, her walls contracting at the last push as she experienced the most intense orgasm she'd ever felt in her life. He then breathed heavily, his body resting against hers.

"Why the hell did you let us starve for so long, baby?" He murmured softly and kissed her shoulder.

She slowly opened her eyes and turned to stare hungrily into his gray gaze. "I want more!"

He laughed and kissed her hard. "Let me breathe for a moment, then your wish is my command."

Afterward, they both lay in bed in each other's arms. Angelica had her left arm wrapped around his waist, her head resting on his bare chest. She traced circles on his chest as his heartbeat sounded sweet and steady in her ear.

With only one lamp on, the room was dimly lit, and as Klaus wrapped his arms around her shoulders, a blissful smile curved his lips.

She cleared her throat and raised her head to look into his beautiful gray eyes. "You think anyone heard what we were doing in the shower? I mean, I did the spell to block out the noise, but who knows if it worked or not."

"Angie," Klaus rolled his eyes and smirked. "I paid nearly 2000 dollars a night for this hotel room. I couldn't care less if anyone heard us fucking and has a problem with it, but if you need reassurance…it's doubtful. Besides, I saw you put a sound spell on the room so I think we're all right."

She smiled. "Thank you…thank you for the limo, the roses, the dinner. You made me feel like the most precious person in the world, even though I don't deserve it."

"Because you are the most precious person in the world to me," Klaus insisted, giving her a smile as he pushed a couple of loose strands of brown hair behind her ears.

"I…I love you for it," she got out, and then gave him a shy smile. She hadn't planned on that popping out.

But he just smiling back at her. "I love you more," he returned and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead.

"I'm so ashamed of my bad behavior," Angelica sighed and rested her head on Klaus's chest, putting a finger in her mouth to bite her nails, then remembering her manicure and thinking better of it. "I just…you did all these wonderful things for me and I…I completely humiliated both of us in public! You shouldn't have to put up with that! Or with me."

Klaus leaned back on the pillow and laughed. "Well, the fact that you allowed me to fuck you in the dirtiest way possible and have the wickedest night I've had in a long time and then knelt to worship me besides that…that alone should be enough for me to accept your apology."

"Stop it!" She blushed bright red and hit his chest. "It's not funny, Klaus!"

"I'm not being funny, Angel," he shook his head and played with her curls before slapping her butt playfully. "I'm being truthful! There really are a lot of perks being with you, Angelica Morningstar Mikaelson."

"Oh?" She scoffed. "I can't imagine what they are," she said, biting her lip nervously and staring at him.

"Well, first…you're an absolute beauty," he began, gently caressing her cheeks.

"Am I really?" She asked, her big brown eyes searching his face to make sure he was telling the truth.

"When I saw you at the bar, you took my breath away," he whispered, smiling. "Why can't you believe that you're a beautiful woman, Angelica?"

"Well, I mean I know I'm not ugly," she conceded. "It's just that…I'm…I'm boring. You deserve…you deserve a supermodel who wrestles alligators for fun, or something. And yet, you want me instead." She looked away.

He grabbed her chin, so she had to look at him. "Why would I want an alligator-wrestling supermodel when I have a kick butt business woman who can make all the big demons in hell kneel with just a look? That's you, isn't it?"

"Y…yeah," Angelica nodded and gave a little smile. "I guess that is me."

"You're it for me," he said firmly. "Those big brown eyes, lustrous lips, and pixie curls of yours are driving me nuts with desire…like they do every day."

She giggled and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you."

He smiled back. "And don't forget how you're a supportive daughter to your mother and a wonderful mother to Victoria."

"I don't know about my mom…" Angelica said, full of embarrassment as she remembered the terrible temper tantrum that she'd thrown when she'd first found her mother and Julian Johnson together. "I wasn't exactly supportive when I found out that she and Julian were a couple."

"Julian is a good guy, Angel," Klaus reminded her. "The whole mess was your father's doing, once again."

"I know now that Julian isn't a bad man," Angelica conceded. "And I know my father treated my mother badly, just like he did me." She paused. "As for Victoria, I've always thought I was too focused on my wants and needs to be a good parent or influence on anyone! I mean first I failed Shane as a mother because I was working all the time and now he won't talk to me no matter how hard I try. Then it hurt Daddy too, and started this whole…"

"No," Klaus shook his head. "Please stop. You're not too focused on yourself. Your father is, and he brainwashed you for years into thinking that you were just like him and responsible for his happiness when you are in fact your own person and a wonderful one at that. You're not responsible for your father. You're not his babysitter."

She sighed. "Actually, I think that might be what Grandpa wanted me to do: make my father feel better about himself so Mr. Steve Smith wouldn't have to deal with all the pain he caused Daddy in the first place."

Klaus made a face. "Really? Your grandfather wanted you to be your dad's babysitter? Isn't that Dexter's job? How many babysitters does one man need? You're too good to have to do crap like that."

"You really think so?" Angelica asked, brown eyes wide.

"Yes," Klaus nodded. "As for Shane, I bet there have to be other things that made your relationship with your son be ruined."

"Maybe," She lay her head back on his chest and sighed. "I guess I'm not so bad, then."

"Nope," he grinned. "Plus, I think you're the first woman in my long life to give my cock a nickname."

"Well wee-wee has earned a name, I think," Angelica said emphatically, smirking.

"Yes, he has," Klaus nodded. "And I can be myself with you., Angelica. It feels amazing!"

Angelica nodded. "I can be myself with you too. No more hiding when I drink blood because I think my father will see me as a monster…" She shook the bad feeling away and changed the subject. "Did my mother know about your setup with the limo, the restaurant, and this room?"

"Of course," Klaus smirked. "She's very sneaky, that Eleanor."

"I think she likes you a lot." Angelica smirked.

Klaus chuckled. "Someone in your family likes me for once. I'll take it!" He brought close to him, playing with her hair and kissing the top of her head. "Are you ready to tell me why you're so afraid to get close to me now?"

Angelica startled, biting her bottom lip as tears filled her eyes. "Because I think one day you'll get tired of me, leave me, and then…" she sniffled. "Just like how Carrie was happy at the prom and the pig blood fell on her. I'm just…this feels too wonderful sometimes and all I can think about is waiting for that bucket of pig blood to fall and being heartbroken because I lost someone I love very much."

"Just like you lost your father," Klaus whispered, softly caressing her back.

She remained silent and let the tears fall down her cheeks onto her lap.

Klaus cleared his throat. "Look. You know I don't like your father, and I probably never will, but…he's your father and I know how hard it was for you to go against his wishes and regain your independence. But I know too that you love him a lot and that's not going to change, no matter how much you hate what he does. Now, as for me…my Angel…" he raised her chin to look into her eyes, brushing her tears away with his thumb. "I'm madly in love with you. You're everything to me. You challenge me. You make me laugh. You made Klaus Mikaelson a better person, and there is never a dull moment with you."

She laughed. "Are you telling me tonight wasn't dull?"

"It certainly wasn't," he laughed. "Believe in your sexy hybrid for once. Believe in us, love."

"I'll try," she promised with a nod.

"I love you, Angelica Mikaelson," he said over her parted lips.

"I love you too, Klaus Mikaelson," she returned, kissing him back.
