300 years ago, from present day, in Feudal Japan a human woman who was also the last Ancient Lotus Miko known as Hana was fighting an evil daiyokai. Inukiba the evillest Inu demon known in the realm. Her golden small lotus flower glowed on her forehead; she imprisoned him in her golden vines but he shattered them pinning her to a tree. Inukiba was all about power, he wanted to create the most powerful offspring combination he could think of. In order to do this Hana was unaware she would be the one he would sire a child to.

Inukiba is a daiyokai, 6'6 with black long hair and green eyes; he wore black open yukata and black kimono trousers and boots, his bare muscular torso showing. Hana was a petite human woman her Ancient Miko heritage meant she had blonde hair and blue eyes which was ethereal looking in human women in Japan; she wore her hair in a French braid to the side and armour over her Miko kimono.

Inukiba leant his head to hers, his green eyes staring into her blue ones. "You know for a human you're beautiful. I'll be taking my time with you."

They had been battling for an hour and Hana had used all her Miko energy she had nothing left. Inukiba raped her against the tree that night over and over again. Hana kept her eyes closed; she had tears streaming but was too tired to fight. She passed out after a couple of hours. Inukiba when he was finished with carried her and left her in the Miko ran village where she lived. An elder found her and with some help nursed her over a week.

A month had passed and Hana was pregnant. She knew now what Inukiba was truly after. He must have known she was the last Lotus Miko. Meaning the child born would have half Daiyokai power and her Lotus Miko power in full, making a force to reckoned with. Hana knew her child would be subject to manipulation by him like his other full demon children were whom fought and pillaged for him like bandits.

Hana went out looking for the Great Inu Demon Lord of the West; Toga. Hana was three months pregnant when she found him finally roaming the lands. Toga along with his fellow Daiyokai had been trying to defeat and take down Inukiba for years.

Toga stopped as the young human Miko walked and knelt in front of him. His eyebrow raised.

"Is there something I can assist you with my lady?" Toga said calmly, he was a charming and charismatic demon. Hana was a beautiful human and Toga had noticed this also and recognised her as the last Lotus Miko.

"Lord Inunotaisho, I need your help" Hana said, as she began to sob holding her stomach, her unborn child. Toga knelt and put a hand on her shoulder.

"What is troubling you Miko?" Toga said patiently and calmy.

"Inukiba..." Hana Started. Toga's eyes narrowed. "He...raped me, I am carrying his child. He will come for the child once its born. I need help to stop him manipulating the child. They will be very powerful." Hana sobbed.

Toga held Hana and pulled her in, her eyes narrowing. "I'm so sorry, yes you are right the child will be of a powerful heritage and a dangerous one at that. Your name is Hana correct?"

Hana nodded wiping her eyes. Toga grabbed her shoulders and looked at her with confidence and determination. "Together we shall stop and end him for the child and the lands sake."

Hana nodded. "Thank you, I tried so hard but he was too strong, I ran out of energy and he was able to take advantage."

Toga narrowed his eyes. "Do not blame yourself Hana, Inukiba is out of control and has been for many, many years."

Hana nodded. Toga escorted her back to her village. He knew Inukiba would not harm her until the child was born and old enough to be used.

Toga went to his wife who lived in a palace in the sky, Inukimi who was also the mother of his son Sesshomaru. He explained to Inukimi and together they agreed it was best that Inukiba was to be destroyed. Over the coming months Toga arranged meetings with Kirinmaru the Lord of the Eastern Lands, also known as the Beast King. They plan to watch over Hana, who's village is on the Western Land but boarders the Eastern Land. Kirinmaru thought that the once the child was born it too should be killed.

Hana gave birth to a beautiful half demon girl named _. Toga brought Hana gifts for her and the child. Inukimi Toga's wife also assumed the child would be killed as was just a half demon and with the Lotus Miko power would become an imbalance of power.

Toga visited frequently and even played with the little half demon girl. Toga had so much compassion for a demon and Hana adored him. Toga saw no reason for _ to be killed along with her father as the she had a gentle and calm nature. She had blonde beautiful wavy hair and the bluest biggest eyes.

One night when _ was five years old, Inukiba came for her. Kirinmaru and Toga had both been watching his movements with their vassals and moved in once they knew he was in the village. However, they had been notified too late as Inukiba's two full demon sons had infiltrated and stalled the vassals by attacking them.

Hana was fighting off Inukiba giving everything she had to save her child from his grasp. In desperation she allowed Inukiba close to her and she held onto him. Hana used everything last bit of her energy and used a Lotus Miko technique known as Sacrifice. Toga and Karinmaru arrived seeing her holding onto Inukiba and her body turned to gold injuring Inukiba weakening him. Hana died and _ ran out holding and crying on her mothers corpse. Toga got angry and him and Karinmaru together unleashed their most powerful attacks to put an end to Inukiba.

Karinmaru was about to kill _, but Toga put his arm out to stop him. "Let me do this" Toga spoke saying to Karinmaru that he would destory _.

Karinmaru nodded and left. Toga went to the little halfling girl and picked her up letting her sob in his arms. He cradled her and comforted her while she cried "Mummy won't wake up Uncle Toga!". _ exhausted herself emotionally and eventually fell asleep in Toga's arms. Everyone including his wife Inukimi was expecting him to kill this gentle and beautiful little girl that he had grown to love. He carried the sleeping child and flew to the Northern Lands. There was a wolf pack there whose male leader had a half demon child which was accepted and being raised within the pack. The male leader was called Okami, unlike most wold demons Okami was very cilivlised and enjoyed human luxuries such as having a dojo and proper clothing. Okami's human wife lived with them in a hut next to the main Dojo. Okami came to the front of his Dojo and saw Toga's face holding the small girl fast sleep in his arms.

Okami spoke softly his eyes soft at the sight of the beautiful little girl "Is she yours?"

"No, but I love her as such Okami. My wife and allies are expecting me to destroy her." Toga said sadly his eyes narrowing with sadness.

Toga explained to Okami about _ heritage and the reasonings why he was being pressured to be destroyed.

Okami narrowed his eyes and spoke calmly and compassionately. "That girl is not just the evil Inukiba's child, she is also now the last and only Lotus Miko. No child deserves to die due to how they were conceived and who their parents are."

Toga nodded. "I need your help raising her here, I will deliver whatever she needs..." Toga spoke with plead.

Okami nodded and smiled, cutting Toga off before having to please further. "The girl will be raised here; she will be accepted and be raised with my half demon daughter Kyoko in my pack. Come let's take her to my wife in the she will be best placed to have the child at night until she is old enough."

Toga followed Okami and they got to the hut, a human woman answered the door. She looked at Okami and smiled, then saw Toga and the small child in his arms, she waved them in.

Okami explained to his human wife Hoshi and Hoshi smiled and happily accepted the job as adopting _ as her own along with Okami's pack. Kyoko her half demon daughter was ten years old and asleep as it was during the night, but Hoshi knew she would love a younger sibling.

_ stirred awake as Toga touched her face to wake her softly. "_, my little flower, I need you to listen to me." Toga spoke softly, _ sat up sleepily, and looked around at the kind human woman and the wolf demon's kind faces smiling at her. She got shy and huddled into Toga, who smiled and chuckled lightly.

"Uncle Toga" _ said staring at him with her big blue eyes looking up.

Toga smiled. "Uncle Toga is going to leave you here with Hoshi and Okami, you will have a new older sister who is called Kyoko and here you will be raised. I will come and visit you as much as I can. Do you trust and understand your Uncle Toga."

_ nodded innocently. "Be a good girl _, I will see you very soon, I promise."

Toga gave sleepy _ to Hoshi who hushed and cuddled her up motherly. Okami gently cupped _ face. "Welcome to the pack, little flower" Okami spoke gently.

_ gave them a small smile. Toga kissed her forehead and left the hut before flying back to the West.

Hoshi put _ to bed and caressed her face until she was asleep.
