"Hey Amy." Blaze says.

Blaze approaches the other girl and sits down. Facing the other. The other acknowledges her presence by looking up at her in the face. Blaze looks at her solemnly.

"Why were you running away?" Blaze asks her, with a concerned tone.

"You already know" Amy says, turning away from Blaze, so the other can see her.

"I don't?" Blaze questions.

"Oh, well then, I apologize for what I have been doing" Amy says then sighs

"So what have you been doing?"

"You said it yourself: running away"

"So why have you been running away?"

"What did you come here to ask me for?"

"Fair, that's what I came here to do. But I want to make sure you're okay first."

"…Thanks…"

"So are you okay?"

"No"

"So why don't you tell me?"

"You'll hate me for it"

"I promise I won't."

"You will"

"Amy." Blaze says and Amy turns around and looks at Blaze in her eyes

"I won't." Blaze says

"Sorry"

"You have nothing to be sorry for. If anything I thought I did something wrong. Which, maybe I did?"

"You didn't do anything bad"

"Yet."

"Yet?"

"I should probably tell you why I'm here…"

"I'll go first"

"What?"

"If we're both going to say something bad, I think yours might be worse than mine. Plus I owe you that much."

"…alright."

"Okay… give me a second"

"Of course."

While Amy gains strength. Blaze looks around and thinks to herself. Noticing all the little details, the small flowing lake. The bushes are decorated with flowers. All the small structures that are put around the place. Blaze likes how calm and serene this place is. She looks back at Amy and thinks how beautiful she looks and what she could possibly want to tell her.

"Blaze."

"Yeah?"

"I like you."

"…what?"

"Romantically."

"…"

"Yeah, sorry"

"…"

"Blaze?"

"Holy. Crap."

"What?"

Blaze faces Amy and grabs the others hands and smiles.

"I like you too." Blaze says very excitingly.

"…what?…" Amy questions

"I like you back."

"…"

"I know. Right?"

"… I'm dreaming aren't I?"

"Nope!" Blaze stands up and takes Amy by the hands and brings Amy up to herself. They almost kiss and Blaze laughs and smiles while Amy is still perplexed.

"I'm going insane, right?" Amy says touching her face for any explanation while smiling a confused and dazed smile

Blaze laughs and laughs. Until Amy gets it and does the small, albeit with a lot less emotion out towards it as Blaze's. They laugh for a bit about the situation.

"This is the best day of my life" Amy says and turns to Blaze

"Agreed." Blaze says as soon as she stops laughing.

The two smile and hold each other for a nice bit of silence. Standing in a park with only nature and small structures surrounding them. Waiting for nothing.

"Can I kiss you?" Amy asks and Blaze kneels over laughing at the abruptness.

"Sorry, sorry." Blaze gets back up. Amy smiles back at her.

"Yes you can… can I kiss you?"

"Absolutely" Amy giggles

Blaze takes Amy by the face. Closes her eyes, Amy follows. Their faces get closer and closer. Until, after all, they meet. Lips on lips. Sustained for a while. Blaze and Amy both can feel and know the exact time it took. Then, they seperate.

"…Can we do that again?" Amy asks, Blaze laughs.

"At this point, I don't see why not?"

Amy goes up and kisses Blaze. It's a lot shorter than the last one. But feels as good to the two.

"Again, Amazing."

"I'm sorry I'm probably such a bad kisser… at least I think so"

"Well that was pretty good for my first kiss." Blaze says smiling.

"That was your first kiss?"

"Yeah… how many times have you kissed before?"

"3… maybe 4? Not counting you"

"Wow, well, you're more experienced than I am. By far."

"Thanks" Amy goes up to Blaze and hugs her with power.

The two sit back down and embrace each other on the ground. Cuddling together.

"Soooooo, what's now?" Amy asks.

"We date? At least we'll be girlfriend and girlfriend if you're not ready for that?" Blaze questions.

"I should probably tell you everything now." Amy says taking a more serious tone

"…yeah?"

"Okay, so. When I lived in New York. I had a few one off kisses. But I also usually got crushes on my friends. A lot actually. Which led them to usually go away from me. Not wanting anything to do with me, I regret that a lot… Which is why I was apprehensive on telling you, I thought this relationship would end up like the rest"

"I'm sorry to hear that… who would ever reject you?"

"It's fine I thought you should know"

"You really can't catch a break between your art teacher, your parents and a lot of your love life seems to be bad."

"Well when you put it like that, yeah it sucks, but I would say that my live life being so bad is kinda my fault, the only thing I couldn't control is my parents"

"I get that…"

"Really? Your Mom seems nice"

"She is! But she wasn't always my Mom."

"Ohhhhh …do you want to talk about that?" Amy says with a toned down tone of voice for the second part.

"Yeah. It's not much. I had bad parents. Then Vanilla, my current Mom adopted me. Pretty simple. I would rather not get into details about it." Blaze says, putting a hand on her chin.

"Blaze…"

"It's fine."

"You know you can tell me anything" Amy puts her hand on Blaze's shoulder, Blaze sighs, legging it all out.

Blaze smiles at her and then proceeds to tell her all about her previous family. Who they were, what they did and how she came to where she is today. By the end of it, Amy looks like she's going to pop a vein because of Blaze's family. Which Blaze is happy about but also concerned for Amy's safety.

"They sounded horrible, I'm so sorry"

"They were. But I'm in a better place now, like you are."

"Yeah, so, do you feel better?"

"Yes. Thank you."

"You're Welcome"

The two sit in silence again for a few seconds. Allowing no sounds to consume them. Enjoying being together with nothing else.

"We should probably go now." Blaze suggests the idea to Amy.

"Yeah" Amy agrees

The two get up and leave the area. Going back to the outside world. Finding Marine and Cream at the entrance of the area. Both smiling at the other duo.

"There's the lovebirds!" Marine exclaims

"Marine!" Cream says eyeing the other

"It's good Cream, she's right." Blaze says to Cream which makes her relax.

"Well good to hear." Cream says

The four go silent for a second

"It took forever!" Marine finally breaks out

"Marine!" Cream says

"Look who's talking." Blaze says

Amy giggles at the scene

The four walk out of the park, back to Amy's house. It takes a bit with Amy and Blaze Walking together doing disgusting couple stuff. Cream and Marine can't really complain as they did that stuff too. Once they actually get to Amy's house Amy knocks on the door and her grandmother answers.

"I was wondering when you would get back!" Amy's grandmother says and hugs her. Amy hugs her back.

"Thanks, grandma" Amy says.

"And how's my new granddaughter in law?" Amy's grandmother says as she turns and looks at Blaze.

"Good." Blaze states at Amy's exspense.

"Grandma!"

Amy goes back inside not before kissing Blaze as a goodbye gift. It would be worth it if Cream and Marine wouldn't make fun of her for it and the only way she could get them to stop is to make fun of how red they are when they kiss each other. At least there's a way for them to stop. After a walk. Blaze, Cream and Marine get home. Sit down and don't acknowledge the day. No matter how good it was for Blaze, even she has to admit it is tiring.

Vanilla comes home to find a bunch of lazy teens, not surprising. What is surprising is that they're tired by actually being tired from doing something. Now she has to know what they did today.

"So, what happened?" Vanilla asks.

"Blaze got a girlfriend." Cream says.

"Really? Who?"

"Who do you think?"

"I'm trying to be funny. It's Amy isn't it?"

"Yes." Blaze says plainly.

"Well, congrats. But what about you two?"

"We followed her around while she tried to find Amy."

"Well, it sounds like you had an interesting day. I can faithfully say I did not and it was just as exhausting."

"Yeah Mom, we know."

"I know you know, but have some sympathy for me. Just a bit."

"Yes Mom."

"I'm too tired to deal with this." Vanilla says and puts her hand to her forehead.

"So are we."

The Rabbit family rested the rest of the day away. Not caring about anything or anyone or any possibilities. While everyone is happy for Blaze. Nobody has enough energy to say or do anything. So they leave it be. Amy is the same. Staying on her bed for the rest of the day. Her grandma leaves Amy be. Going around the house doing other things and being happy for her. They have time for that later.

Going to bed is normal. Everyone has recovered and done everything they need to do also knows as resting and more resting. Tomorrow is school. The first school day Blaze and Amy will be girlfriends. The first day Balze looks entirely forwards. The first day Amy has no fears about. Maybe it's because something has finally changed or maybe it's the passion of romance. It doesn't matter.

"Hey Blaze?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm happy for you."

"Thanks."

Tomorrow is the new day. The sun will come back up and resurface then the moon again then the sun again. Again and again. Monotonous but fulfilling in a way. But now Amy and Blaze don't need to focus on the sun or the moon or anything else in the galaxy. They can focus on each other. They are each other's sun. Each other's light. Each other's source of heat and light. Each other's point of interest. They are right next to the other. Everything that can be, it will be. They are together, nothing can stop that. No power in the world can or should be able to break apart love. True love, good love, for all.

"Amy?"

"Yes, Grandma?"

"Congratulations."

"Thanks, Grandma"

Everything is good, everything is fine. Maybe something can still go wrong. But if it does they will be ready for it. Together. Even if the worst comes to worst. Even if it could be horrible and disgusting. Even if it's the worst thing that either of them could ever do or see. They will do it together. No matter what or who.

After you love someone you have no idea how you lived without them. How you went day and day without them. Gone and done. They seem like such an essential part of your life that you have absolutely no idea how you lived and got out of bed in the morning before them. Once you realize all of this it's impossible to get them out of your mind and how your mind works without them. Love happens and all you can think about is them. Even if you think you hate them. It's even worse if you know you like them back and there's no different emotions pushing back against it. It's pure love and nothing else. That's all you can feel for them. It's all your heart pumps and all your brain can think about. All day, every day. 24/7. With nothing else. Some can't experience it, that's okay. But if you can you can feel an emotion that makes you feel weird things and makes you do stupid things. Love is weird, but honestly most wouldn't have it any other possible way.
